Before this establishment used to be really good about two years ago but once COVID hit and they reopened up, they have been slow on service and bringing out the orders. On top of that it’s a hit or miss coming here just to find out they are closed. Will look for other diners around the area for now on that are consistent with being open

Such a quaint little place in Eagle Rock. Its has a local feel to the food, its Eagle Rock at its best.

The amount of food you get is good, took my Mexican Omelet home and had it the next day for lunch and it was still REALLY GOOD!WILL DEFINITELY REVISIT!

This is my favorite place to have breakfast in all of Los Angeles. Places been around a long time time but your portions are huge the taste is amazing pancakes are massive is massive lots of bacon crispy great selection daily specials are amazing also you cant go wrong but it is a bit pricey.

Pat and Lorraines is great! The food is delicious and the portions are HUGE!!!! The prices are good for what you get, definitely not a Dennys or IHOP type of place!! This lil diner is a must try! They make perfect poached eggs and their bacon is so crispy and perfectly cooked! The pancakes are huge and so good! I love to have them at the end if the meal as a lil dessert to finish off my meal. BUT they have an AMAZING cheesecake ask for strawberries on top and youll be so satisfied! I personally order this before my food because its so delicious and I know I will be too full to ask for it at the end of my meal!

Used to be way better before pandemic. Once this mess is over theyll return to their excellence

My favorite breakfast place to eat in downtown LA. All the employees are super friendly and welcoming. The food is always really delicious and consistent. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a little neighborhood diner to eat at. My favorite dish is the Biscuits and Gravy which is only available on Saturdays and Sundays but definitely worth it. The hangover helper is also good for the next day after a long night of drinking .

Very good breakfast place for classic breakfast foods! The food portions are large and very reasonably priced. They have great customer service. Everytime I have gone they have all been nice and personable.

The seating n the great food I had huevos rancheros plenty of salsa n tortillas.

Pat & Lorraines is a nice breakfast spot in the Glendale area. The breakfast was all seasoned very well. I split the rainbow burrito with my boyfriend with homefries on the side and a bagel. The burrito was really fresh and HUGE. Definitely shareable.

Favorite old school diner and the food is off the chain. staff will treat you like fam while the portions can feed even the most hungry of breakfast lovers.

This place is great. HUGE breakfasts that no mortal man can finish alone. The biscuits are to die for.If you order a side of bacon, you better really like bacon because you’re getting an entire pig!The big round table used in Reservoir Dogs isn’t there, but you can still sit in approximately the same spot. Just don’t tell the Madonna story.

Delicious and HUGE! Ask for a side of bacon, and see what happens! Loves the small, cozy feel. The menu has a lot of options for sweet or savory breakfast options. They make their own biscuits and tortillas, so you know everything is legit!

Just had breakfast here for the third, and probably, last time. It’s a shame because the service and food are both very good; but unfortunately, the prices are outrageous. A sausage omelet with potatoes, a biscuit, and coffee cost me almost $25 and this was one of their specials of the day! In fairness, the portions are large and I took half of my meal home with me. If you don’t mind a day old omelet I suppose you could argue that you’re getting two meals for the price of one but personally, I’ve never been a big fan of reheated eggs.So if money is no object then this is the place for you but otherwise you probably want to take a pass on Pat and Lorraine’s.

Amazing food, huge portions, and excellent service. The daily specials were great, should have ordered one to split instead of each of us getting our own. The bacon is amazing too, loved the pecan pancakes they had on special today!!! Definitely will be going back while in LA on vacation.

Enjoyed the breakfast served at this super old school family coffee shop. Apparently, one restaurant that hasnt been affected by its hipster surroundings. Could be a good thing. Food portions were good. Service was excellent.

Unfortunately, it just isnt the same as it used to be.Cons:Prices are too high for the quality of food you get (~$20 for a basic omelette and mediocre coffee).Not a lot of options if you dont eat pork or beef.Cash only.Pros:Friendly staff.Outdoor seating.Plenty of parking in their lot.Other:Huge portions (not sure if this is a pro or con because I dont necessarily want to order a plate that has enough food to feed 2-3 people).Wouldnt come back here personally & would only recommend it if you have a huge appetite and dont care about the price tag.

When I first looked at the menu I was surprised how high the prices seemed UNTIL we got our order. The portions are huge. Also the service was really great,everyone is very friendly. Seems like a place where neighborhood regulars go, everyone seemed to know each other. I have a limited diet so just ordered sides but my husband had a breakfast burrito and loved it.

I went to Pat and Lorraines Coffee Shop for breakfast and I was very disappointed. I wanted to find a good coffee shop in the area so I stop in Pat and Lorraines. I feel that the food is VERY over priced and not that good! The thing that really annoyed me the most, was all the flies inside the restaurant. The service was not very good either, 1st the coffee was cold and then they got my girlfriends order wrong even after she explained in detail how she wanted her food cooked. I feel that I payed Beverly Hills prices and in reality I was in Eagle Rock with all the flies. I will never return and I would not recommend anyone to go eat at Pat and Lorraines coffee shop unless you want to pay top dollar for low quality breakfast !!! $39.95 breakfast for two...

Pat & Lorraines is one our family go-tos for breakfast. The food never disappoints. One might be tempted to drive by it. Nothing fancy or eye catching. But take the time to stop in and you just might be surprised by the menu variety and the down home wholesome food. I was. Atmosphere is super casual so you can feel at ease and comfy. No need to dress up and perfect for kids, toddlers and babies. Portions are huge so get a box to go and have a great breakfast in the fridge for the next morning. The side of bacon comes on a plate perfectly crispy and at least 15 strips or more piled high - a mountain...perfect for family style sharing. The breakfast burrito is awe-mazing! Service friendly and attentive wait staff. They serve housemade salsas in squeeze bottles, one mild and one hot. Try it, I bet youll like it!

Not a bad joint for breakfast. But a little on the pricey side for diner food. Stick to the daily specials if you can. Basic 2 pancakes, eggs and bacon is $16. But on daily special it was only $10. Portions are big but who does take home of breakfast?

Came here for lunch. We had pancakes with 3 leche, beef enchiladas, chicken quesadilla. Everything was delicious, servings were huge, and service was excellent.

This place is legit diner, HUGE portions it should really be 1 dollar sign Instead of two. My boyfriend and I can eat a lot and even we had to get to go boxes! If you bring a friend and order one meal you will Both leave STUFFED! Solid quality for the price.

My wife and I have eaten breakfast there several times -- we normally order the vegetarian omlette -- lots of veggies -- lots of potatoes on the side (we normally split the plate). Food is tasty, and abundant. Boxes available for take home of left overs. One more thing, cash only (there is an ATM on the premises), but no credit / debit cards.

Fun, fun old-timey coffee shop with huge portions and breakfast they way you like it. Eggs are perfect. Bacon crisp. Their Chile Verde omelet is sooooooo good.

I felt like I just left a bizarre alternate universe. I got a tuna melt and my wife attempted to eat chilaquiles. I put that in quotes because it was just eggs and cheese with random strips of limp tortillas. It was so weird. She got about 1 bite in before she called it quits and sent it back, canned beans and all.My tuna melt came with weird soggy frozen fries and so much relish that it was weirdly sugary. The bread was so oily that it looked like I had just changed the oil on our car.The best part is what others have mentioned: the prices are absurd. Omelettes range from $13-19. I thought these people are either totally disconnected from reality, or the food is amazing. Turned out it it was the former.The one positive I can say is the server seemed nice enough. He luckily took the chilaquiles off the bill, though he told us he didnt have any $1s for change, so he gave us an extra dollar back so that we could go ahead and tip him $5 (over 30%).So weird. Bizarre experience.
