I visit all the local coffee shops in LA and today I decided to try Intelligentsia, but I forgot my mask. Before I can even walk up to the counter and ask for one the guy is behind the counter arms crossed and says “bro you got a mask?” In a standoffish manner, twice. No hello, no good morning, nothing. I went to ask him for a mask and as he proceeded to reach down, I said “you could’ve at least said hello first”, so he pulls back up and says “actually no we don’t have any masks”. I laughed and I said he was very disrespectful for no reason and I walked out with three of my friends. I’ll never go back and I’ll never recommend the place.

Great place to just read and relax.We got there when it was fairly empty so we were able to get some peace and quiet before the place got busy. The server was super friendly and fast in completing orders despite being by herself at the time.

Kind baristas that always make me feel welcome and the coffee is excellent on par with the locations in chicago but less busy, hard to understand why it has a low 4 rating. They could keep their pastries stocked up longer but i understand.

Nice place and cozy. However, most of the tables were dirty with used cups and utensils. And the staff were just talking and seemed to not care about the cleanliness of the place.

If youre going to pay six bucks for a latte, do it here. I ordered a latte with oat milk and vanilla flavor. The espresso is smooth, aromatic and lacks that acidic bite which encourages you to keep the coffee on your tongue and Savor the flavor.

I put 5 stars ⭐️ for coffee. Pastries was not in good condition. Like yesterday’s.But coffee is ready good! Perfect latte, nice cappuccino. Also they have rear options like cortado and flat white.If you want to work at the coffee shop – WiFi is great. Speedy enough for editing photos, for example.Baristas are friendly and helpful

This place is great, the cashiers are great, and the place looks nice, they made the wrong flavored milkshake and made me a new one, I really do appreciate that. Any Milksake there is quality from the Chai to the Mocha milkshake, I recommend the Mocha.

Our experience at this location was wonderful. We sat in the outdoor patio and enjoyed our cappuccino, latte, and churro croissant which were very delicious. Is the no cash policy a hindrance... not for us. Are the prices kinda high... a little. Would I go back again... definitely. Maybe because we were on vacation is the reason why we didnt mind to splurge on ourselves... but Id do it again.

Their limelight (limited edition) coffee was great! I hope they consider keeping it year round.

This was my second home while I was in town for work. Coffee is fantastic and baristas are very friendly. Bonus: they have treats for your pup and covered outdoor seating.

They have a great location and a terrific staff. Although things were pricey, everything they sold from coffee, T to the baked and other goods were excellent. The staff was knowledgeable and extremely dedicated to ones Quality of experience there.

This cafe has a lovely swarm of flies that encircle it’s entrance. They greet you with a calm hello and buzz bye as you leave with your $6 coffee. Very happy Hollywood is finally worthy of real coffee and real stars. Who knows! Maybe a celebrity will walk though the doors as you’re sweetly sipping in the boulevard.

I love intelligentsia and wish we had one in Dallas. Ive been to locations in Chicago, New York, Austin, and now LA, and each one is special. The cafe is very pretty and aesthetically pleasing, and the drinks are always very high quality.

Can always trust the quality and service to be great at any Intelligentsia.Bought their Summer Solstice blend which the barista told me is fruity, great for some cold brew at home in this 90 degree weather.Also got their Limelight that they sell during the summertime. Very delicious and refreshing for being an iced coffee drink.Interior is clean and professional. Can do some serious work here if needed, but also edgy enough to have a casual conversation.They care for the environment by raising awareness from the usage of straws.Their espresso drinks are solid and sophisticated.Have not tried their teas, only coffee.

We used to live by the intelligentsia in chelsea, so we were thrilled to see that intelligentsia opened a spot in Hollywood shortly before we moved to LA. They have great coffee drinks and some tasty nibbles. They have a fair amount of indoor and outdoor seating for a coffee spot in the heart of Hollywood. Cute wallpaper ☺️

My friend & I were having our coffee in-house but they put it in steaming hot paper cups instead of ceramic cups. They were too hot to hold. Had to request ceramic. The staff seem to be clueless. Coffee is good but wouldnt go to this location again.

My favourite coffee! This was our first stop on our LA trip and it was so worth it. Prices are average and staff were friendly and gave suggestions.

Intelligentsia is 💯 the consistency from cup to cup and location to location is why you go. The best coffee shop around, with great atmosphere. Very happy theyre in Hollywood now.

New Intelligentsia in Hollywood Walk of Fame.Pretty and neat interior.Only downside is that its in this area so hectic and hard to park.Easier if you happen to be in the neighborhood and walking and need good coffee.

Wow the espresso is so good. One of the best in LA.. I’ve been to a lot of coffee shops! This location isn’t super packed, has outlets everywhere, WiFi, and plenty of seating. I really love it here as a coworking space.

By far one of the best establishments Ive been to. The interior design is priceless. The only way to fulfill or satisfy my potential here as their signature coffee beverages. I strongly suggest ordering their iced coffess though.Conveniently located in the heart of Hollywood too.

New location in Hollywood is great but not if you need to park. Only street parking which is scarce... Otherwise very happy to have the best coffee!

Its in a really great location and theres outdoor seating. The interior is quite hipsterMy friend and I had the espresso. We were both looking forward to it because we are both espresso drinkers but this one left us disappointed. We came back another time for some other coffee and came to the conclusion that milky coffee concoctions are their forte.

Not too super bougie, friendly staff.Was able to stop in to finish some work on my laptop that didnt look pretentious at all and snagged a cold brew that was great, quick check-out to boot. 👍

$5 for a cup of plain black coffee (and that’s the cheapest thing on their menu) and you don’t get refills. The coffee is no better than anywhere else. It’s hilarious to me that people pay these prices for no real value. Also the space is not good for hanging out or meeting. Not much seating and very uncomfortable chairs with no backs. One of the worst coffee shops I’ve been to in LA. When I asked the girl at the counter why their coffee is so expensive, she said, “we pay a lot more for our coffee” and I was like, then you shouldn’t be in the coffee business if you can’t negotiate good deals haha. Stay away

I ordered 40$ in expensive beans from this company, my order never arrived, company never replied to my emails or phone calls in over 2 years. Unbelievably poor service, I still tell everyone I know to avoid this place.

Every single time I visit an Inteligentsia location I get the worst hipster cashiers, with a ton of attitude and extremely careless.Such a shame that a great design and great coffee are put down because of their bad training.Also, I know its easier and more cost effective to do only credit card transactions, but not even ApplePay? Its bad enough you dont receive cash, but you also dont take any other way of payment aside from credit card... Bleh.
