I love this coffee spot. The workers here are quick to your needs, but also kind.Their coffee is also amazing and it does not taste cheap (obviously!). I just recently tried their Greenie Bagel, and it was really yummy and fresh. They’re also selling milk teas now, and that’s always a win in my book.Go here!

ADVENTURES IN GENTRIFIED TERRITORYSo, I will not complain about the drinks or food. Theyre good. The young woman who did damage control apologized...HOWEVER, they assumed I was a Postmates driver. So, if Silverlake were still a Mexican neighborhood. This would not have happened. Alfred wouldnt be here and the hipsters that confused me for a Postmates driver wouldnt assume I was working instead of picking up my own order. This is not only a case of ethnic profiling its also class profiling... Very lame and Im beginning to understand why Boyle Heights is up in arms. My apologies to Boyle Heights residents. You have to live gentrification to believe it...

5 stars all day everyday! The original iced latte they make is great! While this was the first time at this location, I have been a fan since I was turned on to this coffee shop about 2 years back. While I was there I noticed most people use the app or call in for pick up... Noted for next time! Worth the price. You wont be disappointed!

In the neighborhood, theres a great coffee shop! This location was ideal for me because it was not overcrowded. This location has a fantastic ambiance. They drank coffee that wasnt too heavy. They had freshly baked cookies that were delicious as well. Maintain your pleasant and dependable service in our region! Thank you a lot!

Alfred coffee is a staple in Silver Lake. Theres usually no lines and its a great place to sit on the sunset strip. They have a covered outdoor patio thats currently closed because of the pandemic but otherwise its a great place to sit and just hang out. The coffee is way overpriced as are their snacks. But if that doesnt matter to you then roll on by Alfred coffee for a quick brew.

Honestly this is the best place ever. The ambiance is so relaxing at opening. I will only go to this place at opening to journal and read during the week before going to work. Staff is very friendly every time! Coffee isnt anything special. Brewed coffee pricing is a little higher than other places but honestly ill pay anything to keep this place is busn. Its such a gem. Weekends are probably peak days the place was jam packed unable to find seating. Recommend to make a reservation.

This place is right before the corner so it can be easily missed. It is also hard to find parking. It’s on a Main Street so you have to park quickly and make sure you pay the parking meter. The people working when I went were really friendly. They helped me choose the right drink. And they were patient with me because I couldn’t pay with my phone, it was acting up.

Reasonably priced coffee in a good workspace. This is probably my go-to study spot in the Westside that has free parking. I love their Nitro lattes (diluted to less sweet with the regular cold brew)! The cool thing about this spot is that they give student discounts, and is a non profit. Plenty of table space both inside and out with comfy seating. When it gets dark, the lights in the courtyard come on and its beautiful!!Overall, great work space, great drinks, in a comfy environment.

Adequate overpriced matcha latte. Stopped by here on a walk and the place seemed inviting. Nothing too special that differentiates the matcha latte from other places other than its way pricier here.Simple stuff like barista handing me my drink but in a way that spilled over the counter, then not apologizing or giving me anything to wipe up my drink with.. like what?? I already overpaid and now I get less because you spilled a bit of it?Next.

Arrived today at 5:20pm and asked what time store closed and was told 6:00pm so we decided to stop for a coffee after shopping locally.Ordered a tall Red Eye and a Tall Cafe Latte but was served and charged for a large latte total cost before tip $10:50 so not the cheapest coffee in town.Watched the Barista make the latte and thought the expresso looked very pale like the grounds had been used before.Sat on the outdoor terrace and discovered that my latte was merely a lukewarm milk drink. Was debating whether to complain about the latte when at 5:40pm the man working in the store came out onto the terrace and started placing the chairs on the tables which made us feel unwelcome so we decided to leave. As we left the terrace he locked the door behind us and we saw that the female barista was already sweeping up the store.I mentioned that the latte was merely lukewarm milk and the barista said she was sorry.Horrible unfriendly service, horrible coffee. Will never be returning.

The BEST ALFREDS location by far. I came here on a Monday with my Sister in law to grab coffee and our Avacado toast. The Avacado toast was made so noisy and delicious. Some of the other Alfreds location dont have the Avacado toast. I actually enjoy my Vanilla latte iced coffee with almond milk so much. Im pretty picky when it comes to my coffee but the Vanilla latte is something else at Alfreds. Im so glad I finally got a chance to stop by at this location. This will be my go to Alfreds coffee shop from now on!!

With the explosion of explosion of artisan coffee shops I rolled my eyes when Alfred opened up at the bottom of my hill but the weird name peaked my curiosity. I dropped in and was very happy with the quality of their coffee. Less acidic then La Mill and Intelligentsia. It seems easier on my stomach. They serve a typical breakfast sandwich on sourdough as well as two different breakfast burritos which are pretty hefty. They serve anything a barista typically would on top of matcha as well as any other fad you can think in the coffee World currently. Alfred has had my business since the day I walked in. They serve Bagels pastries croissants both ham and cheese and spinach but frequently run out of food before late afternoon. Free Wi-Fi and Patio is dog friendly
