The food was good and great! The dessert that I ordered tasted like the frosting was made from margarine instead of butter. It feels heavy instead of a light texture when you eat it. But I went there mainly for coffee, so I had three cups (one of each kind) which is really what I aimed for since I really wanted to identify them all. This place is POPULAR! We were there on a Sunday and luckily we arrived just before the church on the corner left out. Wife and I ate lunch at Clary’s on 6/17. It wasn’t very crowded when we were there and social distancing was quite good, they had all the doors open for air to circulate and it was a cooler than normal day in Los Angeles and it felt good. The menu was limited because of the pandemic but we had no trouble choosing something. My wife had the California Reuben and fries and liked it. I had the Twin Peaks, chicken salad and tuna salad served on veggies. Very nice (especially the tomatoes). Service was excellent.

My sister and I wanted a delicious, homestyle breakfast. After reading the reviews, we chose Clarys. The western omelet was so good, with perfectly cooked veggies. The stuffed French toast was equally as delicious. Southern grits were cooked to perfection. Well worth the stop!

I got the iced vanilla latte. It was a bit expensive (6 dollars) for what I belive was a medium drink, and the drink itself was alright but I dont think it was worth the price. The staff was very welcoming though.

A perfect spot for a refill-break while shopping on Broughton. A very jumping place...but very efficient with the service, very clean and excellent fare. Their fresh baked pastries are wonderful (croissants). We loved their salads and soups also.

This is the cutest little coffee shop. The inside courtyard is almost completely covered in natural shade. My favorite matcha in LA! I am addicted, good thing they have stamps cards! Not sure why a photograph of a succulent makes this review, but perhaps it says something of the attention to detail and quality of Dinosaur Coffee. The Cortado / Gibraltar I sampled was delicious. Another unique element which caught my attention was the plant arrangements embedded within a number of the tables. Besides the coffee this shop has a number of features sure to stir your creativity.
