The sales people were great to work with. They answered all of my questions. They repaired a chip in the cars windshield that I was purchasing at no cost. They are very knowledgeable about the vehicles they are selling. I definitely would do business with them again!

After going to 7 different dealerships and no one willing to work with me after losing my car to an accident this place really tried there best. Good service until you purchase car. Then you are stuck with bad vehicle. They only did service on oil leak because I paid for it with my extended warranty. Signed contract a month ago. Drove it for 2 days after finally getting it back and the wheel batting’s are bad. I asked them to look at that but they said they couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Wish I would have just stuck with but here pay here lot. Better cars.

I arrived on time for an oil change. Treated most courteously. Waited in the waiting area. Was communicated to a couple of times on progress. Car was done & washed in a very short time. & I was on my way. It was nice as I had another appt. and had plenty of time for lunch in between.

Not great product knowledge. Takes a long time to get to and close deal. Lots of pressure tactics. Don’t explain add on package that they force on you. Add items to contract with no discussion beforehand. After purchase, no call back when you call with questions. So far service department seems very eager to help.

Absolutely a great experience! We had time to look at vehicles and didnt feel like we were being rushed or pushed into anything. I purchased my vehicle new from a Mazda dealership in San Antonio and never had reason to complain about the service so naturally when I relocated to east Texas I sought out a Mazda dealership to continue with all maintenance and upkeep of my vehicle. Gorman McCracken Mazda has the worst service department and their service manager is rude and condescending. I took my vehicle in with a flat tire I had aired up with a portable air pump and asked that my tire be checked for damage. I was quickly informed that it was just the weather and air had been put in all four tires. Fast forward through a week of snow and ice and a parked vehicle and Monday morning the same tire is completely flat AGAIN. I do not have the time to deal with the vehicle then so on Saturday, I take off the flat and put on the spare, call the dealership to verify their hours (opened until 4), and take it back in. I am informed that they in fact close at 2 (it’s now 1:50), that the damage to my 4 month old tire is non-repairable and has no warranty, and that they don’t have a tire in stock so I should probably just take my vehicle elsewhere! I’m livid! I leave the car and they order the tire for me to pick up today. Guess what, I start the car and my vehicles tire sensor is ON. I go back in where the service manager tells me it may have been broken when the tire was changed or maybe it has a low battery but either way no one will be looking at it for me????? I ask where the nearest Mazda dealership is because obviously I need to take my vehicle to a service center that will actually service the vehicle. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! ONE STAR ONLY BECAUSE ZERO WAS NOT AN OPTION
Set up appointment online 2 days before service for an airbag recall. After leaving car at appointed time, I received a call 7 hrs later that they didnt have part I needed and they would let me know when they got more which were on back order the whole time! 2nd time I have taken car there and left unhappy.
This is my second car that I have purchased from this dealership and I am very happy with the care and help that I had working with me. To rebuild my credit. I love my new VW.

I made a huge mistake by coming here. My 2020 VW Atlas has been showing a front sensor light and because of this the automatic brakes stopped my car by itself 2x and luckily in a parking lot and not the road. This is a scary thing and I was lucky to get a next day appointment on line. So I drove from Shreveport just to be told they couldn’t help me, not even with an appointment. Told me to come back tomorrow (when they would be wide open) or Monday. Why was I allowed to even make an appointment? The service rep told me that sometimes they get backed up for days and the on line appointment system doesn’t know. Bad customer service, bad on line system and mostly an overall bad experience (and half a tank of gas). Do yourself a favor and don’t even buy a VW!! Too many problems and not enough people to fix them.
Issues were addressed and taken care of in a timely manner. Living out of town, it is always appreciated to be offered a loaner car. Friendly service.

Very pushy sales manager. They promised to repair the tailgate or add an aftermarket exhaust but ultimately said that since they gave me such a good deal, they wouldn’t do either one. They failed to mention to me that the radio was leaking the glue that binds the screen to the digitizer caused from over heating. I’m the end, I have a great truck at a great price, they just left a few details out that would have lead me to change my mind.
Gorman-McCracken has been tops in this car purchase, very helpful and worked diligently to provide what my wife and I wanted in every detail. Some of the other dealers seemed less than interested in dealing with us and were quickly out of the running. I’m confident you will be my service professionals as well for the life of the vehicle. My wife has been taking her car regularly to get oil change but just out of the blue the oil filter “went up” 20 dollars in price . It’s such a sham that just because she’s a woman they try and take advantage of her . If this is how they are going to treat people who buy cars from them and don’t take care of their customers after the sale is horrible service .EDIT: Spoke with J.R the General manager. He was empathetic and provided a great solution. Adjusted rating.
I’m giving Gorman Service Department 5 stars this time because I had a good experience. Two years ago they wouldn’t have received 1 star. I didn’t know anyone so hopefully they are out with the old and better with the new. I’ve been a customer for a long time. But we wanted to be treated right.
Had an issue with the quality of customer service post car purchase. Spoke with the GM who gave me reassurance that was not the standard and ensured me i would be taken care of not only completely but as soon as possible. The new service manager is was also excellent, i overheard him having conversations with his team about the level of care the customers need to be receiving. Kris who also works at the service desk was great and did show great service consistently. This was originally a 2 star review but the quick response and the level of care i received i felt it needed to be revised. How i was treated today and yesterday is how you keep customers for life

My first time buying a vehicle which was the 2013 ram R/T and i got scammed and lied to took advantage of my first time buying not knowing better. Leading me on the truck and telling me i have warranty to just turn out to be lied to them taking it off the contract, i took it to them for help but they sent it back telling me to fix it myself which is basically just scamming me. If anybody can help me w this problem lmk bc it is alot of money im dealing with, i wish i can send ss of the convos we had and how they just played me.
10/10 do NOT recommend. Terrible customer service, specifically from Madison in the service department. From the time I dropped my vehicle off until the time I got it back I was left completely uninformed and unaware of the status of my vehicle unless I reached out to them.
I went there just looking around, not intending to purchase a car that day, and yet they had what I wanted and the staff were accommodating, yet not pushy. I truly appreciated Joel Friejo’s friendliness and knowledge, Reggie’s work to get me the best deal, and Dakota made the paperwork quick and painless! Even days later, I’m feeling no buyer’s remorse at all! I wouldn’t hesitate to return there for another purchase.

I started my experience talking with Lilly, fantastic! She was able to help me schedule a time to come in and have my vehicle appraised. During the appraisal I was shown a couple different vehicles and drove one of them. The rest of the process was so smooth and simple Kris took great care of me and helped me get to where I needed to be and in the vehicle I loved!

The wife: This morning the service department contacted me and told me about several recalls on my vehicle, the most important being faulty brakes. I have a daughter from Arizona and a daughter from Washington that had come in to visit us with our five grandchildren and we have a calendar full of fun things to do. The thought of a vehicle with bad brakes was extremely terrifying to me so I spent some time rearranging schedules and events so that I could take my car in today and get everything done. It’s time for an inspection so I asked if they would do the inspection, I got a notice the other day in the mail about an oil change and a free car wash and they said they would do all that and told me it might take about four hours to do everything. When I dropped my car off and left they said they would send me a text message when everything was complete. Two hours later, after sending them a text message asking how my car was, I found that my car had been “completed” for a long time and nobody contacted me about it. I live 45 minutes away. As I was checking out, they said they did everything for me but only charged me for the oil change. $100.78!!!! I was pretty irritated about that because I know that’s not how much an oil change costs if I went to the one in my town and as I was paying it anyways, a man came up and said there had been a miscommunication about my car and that there were no recalls on my vehicle at all. I thought I was going to flip my lid!!!!! I was so angry because these people had stolen time that I could have been spending with my out-of-town grandchildren who are here for a visit. I asked to speak to a manager and he was very helpful. I’m not asking for anything free I simply want employees to do their job correctly so that parts of my life are not wasted. On my 45 minute drive home I decided I’m gonna pull it together and this won’t be an ordeal for me when I got home to a house full of grandchildren and children and I was waiting for me only to discover my car had not been washed at all or vacuumed. Not that I really care About a car wash or vacuum but it was complete incompetence. THEN, as soon as I arrived home I got a text asking me to take a survey..... really?!! If I could give it zero stars I would!!!
I give up-I will be picking my car up from service today and they will never get it or my business again! Last year, I took my car in to have the a/c looked at as it seems to be cycling on and off of recirculate on its own while driving. They informed me there was nothing wrong with it and that was normal. I thought that was odd but it was my first VW so I just went with it. Fast forward to 2020 now, 4 weeks ago I noticed the issue seemed to be getting worse so I called and asked for a mechanic to ride with me so I could directly show him what the car was doing. The guy acknowledged the issue and then said let me do some research and we will get back with you the service advisor then said Ill call you when I get a loaner in, one week later I have never nothing so I call back in to say Hey, remember me? Im still waiting for that call I agree to bring my car in so it could be fixed while I was out of town (Thursday-Monday) so that I would not need a loaner with the understanding that if it was not ready on Monday they would have a loaner for me at that time. Monday comes along and I call to check status at which time the service advisor informs me the car is blowing cold and that nothing is wrong with it. I quickly become agitated as this is now the SECOND time I have been told the same thing and gotten NO SATISFACTION WHATSOEVER! I explain exactly what the car is doing again to which the service advisor states oh OK, I understand now. We will jump on it and call you when we have a loaner The next day they call me to tell me I can come pick up the loaner and they are still working on my car. I called today as tomorrow will be the TWO WEEK mark they have had my car and the guy tells me YET AGAIN the air is blowing cold, there is nothing wrong I never said the air was blowing hot! The service team is a joke, all new people at the service counter this time around than when I was in a few months ago and it is NOT an improvement to say the least! I will never darken their door again, a total waste of time and money not to mention being totally insulted and made to look like a fool for a third time now all because they cant seem to listen to their customers when they are coming in with a valid complaint.
I feel like the fact that you repaired something and then 5 months later the tech said it was still messed up and they would address it once I can afford to fix another issue and now Im being told I have to pay again to fix that is just poor customer service. There are other repair shops around. Ill be sure to use them instead. The good service team went to other jobs. They seemed to actually care about us customers. Now they hired robots.edit: I went and bought a 2014 Jetta from them. Took them 4 days to detail it. Finally got it back with dirt still in it and no floor mats. Car was $10k and you cant give me better service than that?
We ended up here by a mistake on my part, but what a good mistake to make! We got out from under a car we didnt need and took home a brand new ride for a sweet deal. Joel was super easy to work with, and we were in and out in no time. Definately earned my future business.

As a former employee I can say from experience that not a single person in that building knows how to do business. This company is a complete disaster. Came here to upgrade the USB outlet so that my accessories charge faster. I was greeted upon entry and was taken to the service area. Received fantastic service from Thul. He also apologized when service took longer than expected. I def recommend that others bring their car here for services.
I took my car in to key a back up key made and the lock on my driver door was malfunctioning.First, the service guy was not as knowledgeable as he needed to be. I told him what type of key I wanted and he told me they didnt have it. I needed to buy two key fobs. The key I wanted cost $50, the key he wanted to sell me was $140 x 2. My husband had me call the parts center to check on another part and the lady informed me they did have the key I wanted. She also told me she over heard me talking with the service guy.If you need to use their courtesy van service plan for several hours. It took two hours to wrangle a ride. I dont hold this against them, the covid is slowing all things down. I just noted to give a heads up.Next, I had to call them to find out what was happening with my car. I found out the part needed to fix my lock would be on the following Tuesday. They finally called me Wed around 10am to let me know my car was finished. But the courtesy van was MIA. He didnt know when it might be able to come pick me up. His guess was around 4 pm. So I found a ride there. Once there, what I asked to be fixed was not. The car was finally fixed correctly by 4 pm and I asked what happened. He said the mechanic said a cable needed to be plugged in. So now I wonder did they try that before they put the expensive part on. Or was I over charged? I will not use them again.Then I went through the trouble to fill out the survey on my experience and they actually sent me a note to say they would not be posting my review. So their star rating on website is not accurate.

My fiancé came in and looked at an atlas. The sells team worked her phone number out of her. She came home talking about how beautiful this vehicle was so I made the drive to check it out from Carthage. I spoke with the whole team that was on that day and they were awesome at the time. I specifically told them do not call my fiancé back and tell her I was here because I’m going to surprise her with a vehicle. Told them it would more than likely be closer to Valentine’s Day. I watched them make the note on doing so. Yesterday she gets a call from Shawn and he lets her know I’ve been in there looking. Way to ruin a surprise Gorman McCracken. If I can’t trust your word on not calling her how am I supposed to put trust in you guys on a $54,000 vehicle. Thanks again. Miscommunication lol no biggie!
