Brought my Truck in for servicing. My vehicle was misfiring and wasn’t running right. They inspected it for 3 days and said that my catalytic converter needs to be replaced and it was going to cost $4,600. I decided to then take it to a local tire shop to have them plug into my engine and they replaced two spark plugs and it was running perfectly fine.

Very disappointed with the service here. My sister is handicapped and bought a new car using cash for 23k. The plates came in and I took her down to get them put on and they refused to put them on for her. Told her she has to go purchase the plate hold and have someone else put them on. This was a brand new car! I have never had that happen with the new cars I bought. What place does not put the plates on when someone paid cash for a new car?

I am done with Toyota of Longview! I will never buy another vehicle from them because of the SERVICE DEPARTMENT there! On 1/1/2020 I bought a Certified Pre-owned 2017 Camry. CERTIFIED, mind you! Yesterday the battery goes out. It is a 2019 84-month Toyota battery. Guess what? They wont replace it. They bought that battery, not me, he said! Therefore they will not honor their warranty! So really, getting anything that they advertise as CERTIFIED is a hoax and just a ploy for them to charge you more. It means NOTHING!They might be able to do something if I have my car TOWED to them. They cant AND WONT just let me exchange the battery.I swore I would never own another Toyota after dealing with them with my red Camry. Obviously I did not learn my lesson.Im not one switching vehicles all the time. My last Camry I had for 12 years when I bought this one. But I will be getting rid of this one as soon as possible and getting something else!I AM DONE WITH YOU TOYOTA OF LONGVIEW! Your service department has cost you any future purchases from me and I will let EVERYONE I come in contact with know that they should not purchase a vehicle from you because your SERVICE DEPARTMENT, cant and will not honor your warranties! DONE! PAST DONE!

We will never do business with them again. Rick was not honest with us.. wife and I went in and talked with Rick about getting a new truck. Showed us a few. Then when we decided to get a 2021 . We ask Rick if it came with all the features we wanted. He told us yes it did. It was late that night when we got it. The next morning we found out the truck had none if the features he said it did. We went back in the next day and asked about it. Rick admitted he got mixed up on features. And he would not do anything to correct his mistakes. Wanted us to pay for a different truck and pay more money. This should have been corrected at there expense not ours. So we did not get what we paid for. And being lied too is not how you do business. If sales men does no what he talking about. I feel they need to replace with someone who does. We do not recommend and wont. We feel this matter should still be taken care. And get what we paid for. At there expense not ours

After days of investigating trucks in Dallas/Ft Worth, I decided to take a shot here locally at Toyota of Longview. Man, I’m glad I did! Just a little over an hour before a 12 hour night shift at the hospital, my daughter and I met Dalton for a quick test drive of a 2019 Toyota Tundra. Friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, Dalton went above and beyond to make the deal happen. He delivered her a couple of hours later, and I signed the paperwork on “Big Girl’s” tailgate in the ER parking lot. Most fun I’ve ever had buying a vehicle. Thank you Dalton and Toyota of Longview for my favorite new toy!Very best,Jeremy

My husband bought a 2021 Tacoma in Jan. I called to make an appointment, spoke with Ashley, because we were having a few issues with my truck. I gave her all the specifics and asked to speak with a service writer when we came in and she said she would make note of it. So we come in on Friday for our appointment only to find out that Ashley only put us downs for a tire rotation...not ALL the other issues we were having. So, after getting upset, we leave our truck because it’s pointless to do anything else. We run our errands, come back only to find out that one of the detail guys was in a rush and dinged and scratched my truck. We were told it would be fixed on our next appointment ...one that wasn’t made. I get in my truck to leave only to find oil and dirt all over my steering wheel and an oily handprint on the inside of my door. Looking at the tires...they were NEVER rotated...so I find it frustrating that the only thing we got from our appointment was damage to my BRAND NEW TRUCK. I tried calling to speak with someone and Ashley put me on hold only to leave me on hold...she never picked up the line after she put me on hold. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR AN HONEST, WORTHWHILE DEALERSHIP. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT SUCKS, ASHLEY SHOULD LOSE HER JOB BECAUSE I DON’T FEEL SHE IS COMPETENT ENOUGH TO EVEN KNOW HOW TO DO IT CORRECTLY, THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS A JOKE!!! I have not had one scratch on my truck UNTIL I TOOK IT TO BE SERVICED!! Now I have 2 deep scratches and oil all on the inside!!NEVER WILL I EVER TRUST THIS PLACE TO DO ANYTHING OTHER THAN DAMAGING MY TRUCK!!!

My mom had an appointment to have the oil changed. 2 hours later while sitting in the waiting room (watching the service advisor guy play slots on his computer) we were told one of the tires had a nail in the sidewall and needed to be replaced. We asked to see the tire and they was sent a photo of a blurry, out of focus tire that looked like it was spinning. Could barely tell it was a tire, much less see a nail. Paid over $200 for a tire. Same dealership was called to schedule an appt for a fuel pump safety recall on the Highlander. They had to order the part and would call when it came in. 6 weeks later and never received any communication, we called Classic Toyota in Tyler and had an appointment within 2 weeks. Toyota of Longview will not be receiving any more of our time or business. Our experience has been horrible and extremely unprofessional, which is a shame considering the Toyota name has an awesome reliability reputation and this department is nose-diving to the point where we absolutely WILL NOT buy another Toyota since this is the closest service dept. Can not wait for the warranty to be out so we do not have to deal with them EVER again if we dont trade in beforehand. We will gladly drive out of state to avoid this dealership.

Worst service department ever. There is ALWAYS an issue. They try to charge for every service even though it is included in our service plan or extended warranty. Made an appointment today for an oil change and to check an issue with my door. Show up for my 11:30 appointment and I am told no you dont have an appointment today it is on the 30th. Nope it is today I assure you that is what I was told YESTERDAY when I scheduled it.They were kind enough to work me in but then proceed to tell me they will keep my car until tomorrow and Im only due for a tire rotation no oil change. Well my maintenance light is on they ALWAYS change it when it comes on, the maintenance light is on. The service girl tells me that she doesnt know why they have been letting me use up my oil changes but I dont need one. I bought my truck at Toyota of Longview 2 years ago and nothing wrong with the buying experience but since then the service department has completely lost my business.1. I brought my truck in for oil change and my low tire alert came on that morning and the low windshield washer reservoir light came on. After the oil change and they went through the list and told me nothing was wrong I got in my truck and both warnings were still on. So that oil change was pencil whipped. That was about 6 months ago. On my last oil change they told me I had a recall for a fuel pump and they said they would order it and call me for scheduling once it came in. That was 6 weeks ago. I called them last Monday and they verified the part was in a scheduled me for this morning. I took my truck there and when I was turning it over they asked me how much fuel was in my truck. I told them over a half tank and they informed me they had to drain my fuel tank to replace the fuel pump and they would only replace 5 gallons. My question if this is a criteria to arrive with an empty tank why didn’t they tell me that before hand. I love my tundra but am through with Toyota of Longview

Horrible service. Rude, rude, rude service department lady. Very smart mouth and informed me she has worked there for a long time. Given her attitude I’m sure she won’t be moving up the ladder anytimeSoon as well. Bought a battery from This place less than 3 years ago. Had a 7 year warranty. Called them and said the battery has been tested and is bad. Asked if they wanted me to bring in just the battery or the car so they could test the battery in order to get it exchanged under the warranty. They told me to bring in the car. Did that. They say well it will be $20 to install the new replacement. Told me that’s because they have people installing batteries in non-Toyota cars and then wanting to exchange them when the battery go bad. I pointed out that fact that’s not the case here as they can see it’s installed in the car it was bought for...a Toyota. After stating I’m not paying you guys to put the battery in because I can do it myself...I just want the battery exchanged under warranty. They aid that’s not going to happen. If you don’t pay for the install you don’t get a new battery. Such Nonsense! Had to talk to an manger and he said that’s Toyota’s new policy and that we had to pay for installation but he would not charge me “this time”. Nice of them to change the warranty after the fact. The battery I bought with the warranty I received didn’t say anything about you must pay the have replacements installed and you’re not allowed to install replacements yourself. I explained it’s not right to just change the warranty as you go. Like buying a car for a monthly payment of $300 and then they call you and say, “ Yeah, we know your payment was $300 a month but now it’s going to be $400 a month.” What? Doesn’t make sense. Neither does changing my battery warranty 3 years after the fact either. Guess I made them mad because now I’m sitting in their waiting room for 3 plus hours to ah e them test and install a battery. I asked why does it take so long and the response was that I didn’t have an appointment. My replay is again “What?” You told me to bring the car in! Geez! Never again will I try to buy a Toyota part or anything else from these folks. Total run around and terrible service because I didn’t just pay them what they wanted as they just randomly change agreements. And finally, NO!, I don’t want your $46 windshield wipers as you’re changing my battery! Just do the right thing....be nice to folks and stop trying to rip them off. You’ll do a lot better in the business than upsetting so many folks. But I can say this for sure, “I think you’re living up to the true expectations people have about car dealerships...high prices and terrible Rio you off service.” And for that I congratulate you!

After 2 hours I received a charge of $251 and was told they could not find a leak. I Left and drove to Tyler. While driving I could hear a whistle sound and stopped to open the hood. I found the dust cover over the radiator was missing and the clips were in the hood channel near the windshield. I accompanied a friend of mine who was interested in a certified used Camry from their website. We told the salesman who approached us that we wanted to look around the lot, but he escorted us inside, away from the lot. Okay. She was ushered to an Event Registration desk and given a form to fill out. After asking, she was informed it was a trade-in event. She didnt have a trade-in. Hmm. Shed mentioned her line of work to the salesman and a second staff member approached who just so happened to have retired from that same line of work. What a coincidence. The Camry from the website had just been sold, of course. I gave an out the door price range and year models for used vehicles we were interested in. The salesman comes back with monthly payments for brand new cars. I stepped outside and called the dealership, inquiring about the certified used Camry we originally came for. They call me back in TWO minutes, assuring me that the Camry is just waiting for me to come sign the papers and I should just come on in. Incredibly disgusted that Toyota of Longview would use the sleazy old bait-and-switch. Salesman was patronizing and would not respect our wishes to deal in total costs and used vehicles. This has to be the most friendly dealship in town. Collin our salesperson was great. Everyone we came in contact with was as nice as they could be. This was a great buying experience. Easy no hassle process. We had been looking at multiple dealerships and they by far out classed everyone. Collin did great job from start to delivery. Even got to meet the owner which is rear for dealership was very surprised. All I can say is great buying experience do not regret doing business here at all. Thanks for all your help making this a easy experience.

I took a day off and went in to purchase a Corolla. I wasn’t sure of the model I wanted the LE or the SE hatchback. The SE Hatchback was my favorite, but it was to be a commuter car, so that much deluxe wasn’t necessary. My sales person lied to me about there being “add-ons” to the price. There was no listing in the windshield, and my sales person, Eric, said that there were none. When we got to the part where they bring you the offer, there was a charge for nearly $1,100.00 (PVV fee, or something along those lines): basically, nitrogen in the tires, window tint (which Eric claimed came from the factory), tape style door edge protectors, and the processing of the vehicle for sale. If your going to sell cars, manufactures expect you to properly prepare them for the customers. That doesn’t sound like what I should be charged for. This charge effectively negated any discount they showed on their website and pushed the retail price to about $350.00 over MSRP.When I saw the offer they were attempting for my trade, I knew it was time to go. The sales director, Amber, followed me out and spoke with me a little. Already I had lost confidence and didn’t wanna give them ‘another whack’ at me.They were polite, and gave me a bottle of water. Their showroom and facilities seemed practical and economically sound. I don’t like to pay for expensive showrooms either. It was the last day of the sale I was interested in, so I doubt I will return. I feel that this was some leverage they were using, forgetting that I needed motivation, too. I drove a paid for car there. Why would I want to get a new bill and not be getting a bargain?

We had two wonderful buying experiences at Toyota of Longview. Our sales agent, Tammy Jo, was just wonderful. We bought a Highlander and a Rav 4 with four months of each other and both times we were treated with respect and never the cheap, uncomfortable high pressure sales tactics we have experiences at other dealerships. They made car buying fun! Highly recommend Toyota of Longview.

All was good with communication via call, email and text with Used car rep and Used car Manager. Once I signed deal and discovered a minor issue it quickly became unpleasant and very unprofessional. No returned calls, emails or text. I run and business and wouldnt tolerate this from Management/staff. Disappointed after a good start to the car deal. Finish with care and value!!!!

I bought a Jeep Wrangler from them a little over a month ago for my job at the post office so a RHD Jeep. It didn’t come with a warranty which wasn’t the greatest thing but I had to have one and it was the only one I found for 100 plus miles from me. So I did it anyways.. worst mistake ever! Within a week I had electrical problems my steering wheel doesn’t work, horn, charger outlets, radio cuts out.. the Jeep also has horrible leaks! Like gets me soaking wet every time it rains.. anyways so I signed my paper work the day I bought the Jeep at the dealership right? Wrong apparently because something THEY did wrong we had to “restructure” the contract which caused my interest rate to go up. They were constantly calling and texting me asking if I had signed it yet because they sent it in the mail. Almost to a point where they were getting frustrated with me as if it was my fault that they didn’t do it correct the first time. You’d think spending almost 30k on a vehicle that you wouldn’t have that many problems with it. STAY AWAY!

We made an appointment for our oil change and also knew we would probably need new brakes at this visit also. My husband waited for the brake job to be completed. The service department offered to allow him to test drive a car while he waited. We thought that was very considerate of them since he would be there over 2 hours.

I chose my tentative purchase from their website. Zachary Williams contacted me immediately and provide drive out cost in a matter of minutes. We made an appt. to meet with him two days later. Upon arrival the Rav4 I was interested in was ready for the test drive. Zachary was very attentive and intuitive in providing all answers to all questions, even those I did not know to have. The Sales Manager, Will Dyer, came over and introduced himself during our visit with Zachary. The purchase was finalized my complete satisfaction. Zachary even took us to meet with the Service Department and set appointment for first service. Randy, their Credit Manager, was thorough and personable with integrity, a rare find in retail auto sales. The entire team can be described as true professionals! Toyota of Longview will be my Go To dealer from this point forward.

Probably the best car buying experience ever! Tammi Jo was kind, patient, understanding and most of all NOT PUSHY. She is what all car sales people should strive to be like. This was our first time buying a car without parents and we were super nervous. Ms Tammi made us comfortable and gave us honest advise and well we left HAPPY with a brand new car.

After reluctantly deciding to say good bye to my 97 Toyota Camry, we went to Pat Lobbs Toyota to find another Toyota to last us the next twenty years! Corey Lowery was our awesome Sales Consultant who helped us find a fantastic deal on a Toyota Certified used 2013 Corolla! He was very helpful and patient, not pushy at all. When we mistakenly purchased a vehicle listed online as having cruise control which did not actually have cruise control, Corey made sure that the mistake was made right- within four days, cruise control was installed in our car at no cost to us! The service and parts department was so quick, installing it in less than half an hour. The dealership also had the car state-inspected, registered the car and ordered the license plates for us and put them on for us after the plates arrived! I really appreciated our experience with Corey and Pat Lobbs Toyota and I love our new car! Thank you!

Bought a 2018 Toyota Rav4 from Toyota of Longview, had less than 4,000 miles on it. Had it a year in February. Took it in for service Friday, Feb 21, 2019. All they wanted to do was rotate the tires. Told them I needed it inspected. They did that and wanted to put a new back wiper, which they said was no good. They sold me a Platinum plan for that vehicle, and the service department man, made it plain, that my 2 year, or 25,000 mile warranty was up. I mean really, those people are some of the rudest people, and they want you to be out alot of money when you take your vehicle over there. Why the heck purchase an extended warranty when it covers nothing (to get your money). When you turn the lights on all the way around to the last spot on the lever, there was always 2 lights (little green circles)indicating your lights was on, now there is not but one, and heck I dont want to take it back, afraid of what they may charge. . After purchasing 2 vehicles from there I want purchase another. I will take my business to Honda. Never again will I purchase from Toyota of Longview!!!
