I was looking for tea & found Sheldrake has so many different types! Decided to try a 16oz Sencha (green tea). One ounce of loose leaf tea is put in a tea bag, appearing to be about four times more tea than Ive had. Heck yea!Interior is very comfortable, and the patio is welcoming with lots of seating & umbrellas.I will be coming back for more! Cheers!!

What a nice place for coffee! Pet sitting on Naples Island and walked down 2nd street coffee. The coffee is very good, the muffins fresh, staff are friendly. Definitely a go-to if I lived around here.

Scones, muffins and pastries baked on site, a large coffee that really is, (20 oz.) and a cozy place to sit and enjoy them. What more could you ask? My new favorite place at my very favorite prices!!

Pollys is vintage gorgeous.That isnt all either. The location on 2nd St in Long Beach is way cool. The ambience is lovely. The coffee selection is top notch. Bakery features a good sized muffin, not a midget size. The servers are very real people who enjoy working for Mike. I never not get my coffee at Pollys.

Coffee is very good. I was hoping to get a 32oz Full French Roast Pot, but they dont make it anymore. If anyone knows where I can get a 32oz or larger cup of coffee, let me know. Im looking for a place that has a large cup like that for about $4. I ended up getting the Vienna Roast which was bomb. Will definitely be back when in the area.

Met the owner while slope soaring RC Gliders at Bluff Park. He recommended Mikes Blend, which was quite good. Got two bags of beans to take home.

This place is the best. I can remember going here as a child with my mom. They roast their beans right there in a small roaster. I can smell them roasting from my house when the wind blows right. Its just the best thing ever. My current favorite bean is the Tanzanian Peaberry. Head on in here for great coffee and a true piece of Belmont Shore history.

Its a neighborhood coffee places that ships worldwide and its been my second office for a decade. I miss it any day Im not there.Mike, you did a great job!

Fantastic. I got the Polly blend. I added a pinch of cinnamon... tell you what, FANTASTIC. The employees were all pleasant and patient with questions. Definitely stop here if youre looking for a great cup of coffee.

I love this place! Its authentic Long Beach at its best! My favorite is the Pollys French Roast but its all good. The owner Mike, is often at the shop and is very active in the local community. That means its full of locals who understand how important it is to buy local.Whats unique about Pollys vs other national chains is that besides the very friendly staff and the quality product, Pollys has a roasting machine in the store. I love the way the store smells and that they create the product themselves. Pretty cool!

A great coffee shop with wide selection of drinks, also has hot chocolate and tea. The prices are amazing too, medium coffee is 1.90, got a small refill for 40 cents! They also sell coffee beans, great variety. The interior is vintage and comfy, the music is not annoying. Ive spent there a couple of hours, reading and drinking coffee. Will definitely come back.

They also have several flavored options and seasonal goodies, plus a rewards program for repeat customers. The staff are always knowledgeable and helpful. A sincere and authentic place, a super great staff, and the coffee is as you would expect it to be: fabulous.I would love to see these single-use plastic things (straws, cups, spoons, etc.) replaced by more eco-friendly versions. Moreover, plastic cutlery is really not practical to eat your great pastries.

I really want to write a truly long well thought out slightly humours and epic review about Pollys Coffee. Problem is there is no way to describe the aroma of this place as you walk in. Cant even express how friendly and enthusiastic the employees are when you walk in to order. Worst of all I can never explain how terrific and Brilliant the coffee actually tastes.So all I can say is do yourself a favor and go and get a cup of coffee here. I only go for coffee to brew at home and they have the best beans in town. Be forewarned that they are a popular place and that they might be out of what you want if you want a particular variety. Calling ahead is a good idea. They have a wide selection so youll still find something excellent on hand.

I went here with a couple of people. We bought a bag of coffee and I got a small latte with lavender syrup. The drink was really good and the customer service was good. This place had really good music and the atmosphere was good too.

I ordered a small coffee. During the order, I asked for milk being put in a side cup. Being at the airport I like to pour all my purchased drinks in my travel no spill mug. With my coffee I prefer just perfect amount of milk. I was charged $5.50 for a small coffee!!! When asked for itemized charges the milk charge was $2.75?? Mrs. Angelica that’s outrageous and you just managed to rid of weekly customer. Perhaps your competition will appreciate your kind gesture. I would never be charged for milk at any other coffee shops, I wish you well. Karma.

Really cute Long Beach coffee shop in a great location. The one time I went it was chilly, and theres very little indoor seating. Also bathroom is basically in their kitchen, which is odd. But cute place and decent coffee.

There are coffee shops on every corner in Long Beach but hardly any roast their own coffee. This place has been doing it for years and they do it right. They also recently added K-Cups so those who have that device wont be left out. Great to grab a quick cup of Joe or to get a pound of pure Kona. You can smell the roasted beans for for blocks!

I can walk to Pollys from my house which is great! They have a wonderful selection of coffee and tea! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful! I often buy coffee or tea as a hostess gift! I am a tea drinker so love the variety!

Pollys is the only coffee shop in Belmont Shore that roasts the beans on site in their vintage roaster. All the pastries are baked fresh each morning. The owner is very involved in the community.There is a large patio that is dog friendly and there is a parking lot.

One of the most underrated coffee shops in Long Beach; by genre, this is Long Beachs only old towne coffee shop. They roast their coffee right in the back of the shop in their exposed roaster. Its both enlightening and a novelty to watch them most mornings cook the coffee that youre about to drink. It is my suspicion that serving coffee may be secondary to their large volume of roasted coffee orders. As such, this makes the coffee served in-house unassuming. Again, by genre, Pollys serves diner coffee, and - forgive me - damn fine coffee. Its delicious and veers away from the lighter roasts popular in craft coffee shops these days. If its not medium, its probably not Pollys. Their outdoor patio is also fantastic. Overall, this is a great choice that most wouldnt immediately think about first.

The place is infested with rats and roaches. Ive seen them. The employees are well aware, try asking them. Owner doesnt care. The owner is incompetent and lives off of his familys business name. The majority of his patrons are loyal for old times sake but are probably unaware of the quality of the food and drink (they leave their baked goods out unwrapped to prep for the oven overnight where the rats contaminate it). The health department has numerous complaints that they are currently investigating. Call them for yourself to verify. Or just go to any other coffee house in Long Beach.

Strong Coffee with a bitter but smooth taste. The espresso and tea lattes are very good as well. Pollys also roasts peanuts in the same machine they use to roast their coffee, making it my favorite place to buy peanuts. They sell them by the bag for a very affordable price! You can also grind the peanuts into peanut butter if you have the patience to de-shell them in bulk. Its amazing!

Got Java Estate and Ethiopian coffee beans freshly roasted. You cant beat that if you want fresh coffee. The owner and the staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. I urge everyone to visit this place. I myself will be back for more.

Lived up the block from this coffee shop for 18+ years; they provide the community with a wonderful morning aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans. The quality of the coffee here is amazing - and the choices are simple yet various. Staff knows their stuff and the outdoor patio is the perfect place to have your morning joe. This local landmark has stood the test of time and is arguably one of the few local shops left that have not sacrificed their rising rent costs to the big chains that have dominated 2nd street.

Im from out of town and was so thrilled with the coffee I was drinking at The Auld Dubliner that I asked what it was (Im pushing 50, have always loved coffee, and have never done that before). They told me it was Pollys and now Im going to find out if they ship.

I wanted to like this coffee shop but, frankly, the coffee was probably the worst I have had in a long time. I could not even drink it and had to throw it away. On a positive note, the service was friendly.

Purcased a half pound of Kona. They custom ground it for my usage and drank a pour over with some of the grounds. It was amazing, but not as amazing as their staff!I frequented Pollys while living in Belmont Shore and truly miss this gem.
