Great local shop. From the second you walk in and smell the amazing scent of the beans you know youre in for a treat. Easy parking across the street.

Owner and her daughter are both rude and unfriendly. They made my drink horrible and wanted to charge me for another one instead of remaking it. Would rather go the extra 15-20 minutes to Kookaburra where everyone is so nice.

I loved all the different coffees around. All the choices. Loved the smell. Very intimate. Was not rushed out. Loved the atmosphere

Our go-to place for iced/hot coffee, coffee beans, and muffins! All the ladies that work there are gems of the east side of Long Beach! You always get amazing coffee or specialty drinks. They also display local artists work on the walls. Highly recommend!

I have been coming to get fresh beans here for a while. They have the best selection and the coffee is always amazing, Ive tried other places while living away and always miss the coffee beans from coffee nut. The owner is super personable and friendly, definitely recommend this place!!

If you love coffee - this is the spot for you. Coffee (high quality) is front and center. Some of it a bit too frou frou for me but all creative and good. There is some eats to go with - but it is about the coffee. Good place to sit, relax and enjoy with the morning paper. The staff is very knowledgeable and can (read will) discuss their offerings with you.

These days its horrendous with so many entitled people in the world. Lighten up people. Do you realize youre complaining about getting a cup of coffee? I know their coffee is amazing but there are much bigger problems than you not getting your cup of coffee. As for the customer who complained that the woman kept on announcing that they were closing, if she didnt people would never leave. This cafe is open 12 hours a day. These poor people have lives and a family to get home to.If anything, those reviews should tell you how delicious their coffee is. Check them out! Im so glad I did! God bless! :)

This coffee is so good. My personal fave is the Icing on the cake blend. Theres also a pineapple one that you can never go wrong with.

I think the coffee was ok at best. I had the cake coffee and couldn’t taste anything. However the worker wasn’t very knowledgeable and what seemed to be the other lady manager or owner was not friendly at all, I prefer Gentle Brew over this

Coffee is lacking flavor. If youre not happy with your latte, they nickel and dime you for everything. I was charged 50 cents for an extra pump of syrup when the rude barista Jen did not even put the correct syrup amount in my coffee. She is a rude person. The owner needs to work on hiring nicer people here.

I would love to leave a 5 star review about how amazing the coffee here is, and it is, but unfortunately I have to rate the extremely poor customer service.I arrived just after 6pm and the door was locked. The girl working saw me, came and opened up the door, and told me everything was closed up. I was surprised and told her I just checked online and it said it was still open til 8pm. Instead of taking the opportunity to thank me for the information and offer an apology, she instead replied with an all too amused smile, a shrug, and said Call us. before closing the door on me. Why would I call if I just confirmed the information online?With that kind of customer service Ill travel towns over for different coffee, thank you very much.

Cozy & fragrant with a terrific variety of excellent coffees and baked goodies.

The coffee was good but the worker kept announcing that they were closing in an hour. Every time customers came in she would announce closing in a half an hour. The store was packed ..people at every table and at the cashier waiting to purchase coffee and she made another announcement well be closing in 15 minutes and then were shutting the doors... the place was so crowded all she kept doing was telling anyone who came in that they were closing. That was very bad customer service if the place is crowded you should be glad not Chase everybody away. It was very uncomfortable I couldnt wait to get out of there...

Nice place. The barista was very sweet. We had a smoothie made with tons of sweet fruit and almond milk! Delicious, healthy, and very well priced. They have a great selection of coffee but I didnt try it. They have a couple of outlets and wifi with a decent speed. They have a bookshelf to peruse if you get the urge.

The coffee is fresh and just fabulous. I love their strong like Kona, Italian, Dark Velvet every day a new choice. Go try it.

I ordered a hazelnut vanilla frozen coffee and what came out tasted like watered down milk. There was no taste of coffee in it. Priced at $5.50 for a tall size, when I went to the person who made it, she asked me to pay more for adding coffee in it. Overrated and overpriced. Never coming back here again.

Yay for independent coffee shops. The Coffee Nut is real simple. They just serve coffee and sell roasted beans. There are a few pastries but they are all wrapped in plastic you dont quite know if they are just for display, are old, or are actually good. Its not very inviting. The mochas they make are very good, much better than Starbucks. They have art on the walls and the mornings are for the elderly.

Nice place, wonderful people, great selection of coffee. I will be back.
