Great chocolates at a decent price. I arrived right when they opened and got some to go. Keep in mind that getting a box costs extra (not less!) so you should get bagged. Their milk chocolate is great.

Cute and cozy chocolate/coffee shop. The workshops for adults and kids are fun. The service from chef Romeo and staff is great. It is a bit pricey considering the portions but overall a nice experience.

Definitely a place that you must try. Their chocolates are delicious and reasonably priced. Been there twice and Im going to keep going. Their 97% dark chocolate is delicious. Their brownies are very luscious and smooth. My favorite so far is the brownie, but I still need to try out more of their chocolates. Oh, they also have this kind of happy hour where you can get small chocolates for a price. Definitely try that so you can try the different flavors.

I wished they had afternoon tea available on a regular basis!Their chocolates and truffles are always delicious as well, and they do serve savory small plates which you can have with wine, beer or coffee. They have an assorted drink menu, with frozen hot chocolate.Romeo creates Filipino flavor inspired truffles, including Tanduay (rum from the Philippines) as well as calamansi.A great place to hang out!

First time trying the sweets, bought a chocolate chip brownie that you see in the photo. It was rich and chocolatey and sweet and moist and delicious. Looking forward to eating their truffles.

In such difficult times such as covid Romeos chocolates serves as an oasis to those looking to escape the anxiety. My girlfriend and I went for the chocolate truffle and wine pairing and it was picture perfect! Thank you all for being open for walk-ins also.

In addition to some traditional chocolate truffles youll find unique takes such as calamansi (Philippine lime-type fruit) truffles. The hot chocolate and refreshments based on sipping chocolate are also a treat...try the sipping chocolate with a scoop with of ice cream from fellow local business Long Cream Creamery...the combination is heavenly. I have been going to Romeo’s ever since he had pop-ups in LB before he opened his store on Pine. I love the berry bliss bar, the truffles, the emergency chocolate packs, and all of the baked goods. His chocolates are beautifully made and you can tell that he is passionate about his craft.My favorite time I spent at Romeo’s was during a chocolate making workshop for kids (pre-covid). I brought my nieces and SIL. They were so happy to be making chocolate bars and the oldest even wanted to be a chocolatier after the workshop. She loves Jacques Torres so when he did Facebook posts about supporting minority owned chocolate shops and included Romeo Chocolates, she was so happy. Romeo was also great with the kids during the workshop. It takes a lot of patience to help kids with the chocolate making process.If you have not been, I highly recommend you visit Romeo’s for delicious chocolates, truffles, baked goods, and refreshing beverages.

Great chocolate shop! Loved how they explained the flavor profiles and origin of the chocolate. The samples were delicious. I tried the calamansi mojito and their 30% chocolate bar. They also offer sipping chocolate and coffee. Id definitely want to come back for a class or tasting! Shout out to Romeo who is a fellow UCSB Gaucho!

The best chocolate shop ever! Romeo is a very nice gentleman who is very enthusiastic about what he produces in his shop. Everything is handmade and he seeks the best ingredients. We enjoyed a pour over, a frozen hot chocolate, and a brownie. He gave us some samples that we enjoyed tremendously. (Truffles are amazing and a great selection!) His staff was very courteous and attentive! His shop is definitely worth the time.

Romeo knows chocolate. Best gourmet chocolate chef is the business. If youve only have your plain Hershey chocolate and think those are good, youre missing out. They also have wine and beer pairing for their chocolate. I watched an employee make a cut of coffee like they were recreating the Mona Lisa. Highly recommend you check out Romeos Chocolate in downtown Long Beach.

Romeo at Romeos chocolate is amazing you can tell he puts a lot of love and passion into his Chocolate. He comes and helps you to really know how to appreciate chocolate and get the full experience of tasting that chocolate it was an amazing birthday. I even got to witness my sister and friend having a moment once they open their eyes and nose and truly tasted the chocolate it was great.

I came here to buy chocolates for Christmas presents. A great small and local chocolatier in HB. It is rare to find a shop of this quality in orange county. The style is Belgian. Selection is pretty wide considering everything looks to be made in house. Pricing is fair for the quality.

Cant go wrong with anything on the menu or pieces in the case. I make a stop whenever Im in the area. Its always a treat. I love the hot drinks.

OMG just go! If youve never had real hot chocolate... just go! The counter solid candies are exceptional quality and always very fresh. The selection is creative, but not in a who mixes THAT with chocolate? sort of way. The owner has almost always been there when Ive gone and is really warm snd welcoming.I often take out-of-town guests to Romeos after dinner, and any time of year.Like I said...OMG just go already!

Highly recommend. True artisan chocolate. Try all their hot chocolate as well, especially the chocogato (hot chocolate over ice cream.) I had worked for Cadbury so understand the basics of chocolate. It is not easy to excel in this field. The staff are super friendly and helpful as well. The charming store is a happy place that is contagious.

Came in to get a gift for my girlfriend, the choclatier was really helpful. There were so many awesome choices that I couldnt decide so he picked out a couple of the more popular pieces n recommended a nice Merlot that paired extremely well with the chocolate.

The boyfriend and I were referred to this place by a couple of friends. & it did not disappoint!This establishment is located a few blocks from the Promenade. The street seems to be very busy, cars up and down. Theres quite a selection of restaurants around as well so this is perfect if youre looking for some dessert after dinner.Upon arrival, the ambiance was def there. From soothing music too the dim lighting, very cute! They even have events where people come and perform. Just make sure you check in w/ the workers on which days.Alisha was the one helping us get our chocolate fix. She was able to let us sample some chocolate which were pretty good. & she was very helpful on recommending which ones would accommodate our taste buds! Alisha was super knowledgeable with the process of the chocolate making. She was able to answer all my questions. Very friendly and great customer service!I had the award winning raspberry chocolate and OKUR! That was bomb. com they even sell other desserts and alcohol! Very impressive and upscale dessert place.
