I have no problem with the level of care that I get there, but I dont think they are exactly honest about cost and insurance coverage. Im having a lot of treatment done and when I asked about cost, the response has been your insurance covers it or its covered by your insurance. Well, thats true - a lot of it is covered by insurance, but there have been portions of the fees that the insurance doesnt pay. These charges added up without me knowing how much I owed. I would like for them to tell me what the insurance pays and what I will owe before I decide on the treatment, and I will insist on that from now on. I know its possible because most eye doctors and even dentists do it.

I arrived early for my eye appointment and had to wait for a short time. No problem ! I was escorted to eye exam room by a young lady who worked there . She went through my medical history faster than I could yes or no . Then it came time for my eyes to be dilated she basically squirted in my eyes and took off out the room before I could ask a question. Then came in the eye doctor who spent about 5-10 minutes completing my eye exam . She wasted no time leaving the eye exam room. Poor customer service from the eye doctor and the office worker .I will never return.Poor cu

Yes so I will not be returning…Poor customer service. I had an eye exam like every year and always has a 10.00 co pay. Which is fine however when I checked out today they said it would $65.00. I then asked why is that and they said when they submitted my exam in the past to my insurance it didn’t pay and they had to write off so there they now make the patient pay the difference.. I stated do ya think that should of been discussed with me. The lady said yeah well they are supposed to.. Even when I arrived to sign in nothing was ever discussed if cost difference that is a scam in itself to not tell the patient until it is to late!!! I will not be going to a place that is not upfront and honest!!This does not even deserve 1 star if u had it my way!!!

We got two pair, one for me, one for my wife they replaced the lens still no good I ask to fix them,they no,they can rejust the stems but thats all.after paying 519.00 dollars copays thats it

My fiancé and I are trying to order new glasses for him and they refuse to give him his whole prescription. It is LAW to give patients a copy of their prescription (which is 3 pairs of number) and they only ever give him one set of numbers. I get you don’t want to lose business but really? Not to mention his father and sister spent over $500 on glasses just for a pair for each of them. We will be finding business elsewhere.

Refuse to share my prescription until i pay them, which is a legal requirement. dont go here.

Family eye med is the place to get your next eye exam done! I’ve been a patient for over 5 years. dr. Estrada and all her so staff are so great! They provide Great medical treatment and their knowledge on eye insurance benefits is great! They really try their best to save you money with providing excellent lenses and glasses.

My husband has gone here twice and every time has been horrible. The staff is nice but incompetent. This last time we ordered safety glasses and casual wear glasses. When his casual wear glasses came in, we discovered they didnt order the bifocals. So another 3 weeks of waiting. His safety glasses didnt come in for 3 months. The prices are hugely inflated and charged a sitting fee for picking out frames. We got charged the fee twice since he picked out safety glasses and casual wear glasses. When his frames fell apart after 8 months, they ordered replacement frames free. After waiting 3 weeks, we go to get the lenses swapped only to find out they ordered the wrong size. So more waiting while he only has his safety glasses to wear. Needless to say, we will NOT be returning.

Excellent job they do. First time contact wearer for my 12 year old. My son struggle getting them contacts in; had to come back 3 times but that last once was the charm. He felt accomplished and proud even left saying “I love her” talking about Mrs.Tammy☺️ She didn’t give up on him. Thank you.

I have been going to this practice for years with my family. They are always great! From the wait time all the way to the checkout. Good people, ease of service, comparable prices. Highly recommend!

I suggest you stear clear of this office. I asked to return to their office to look at frames a second time only to be treated very rudely during my second visit. It was as if I had done something completely unacceptable to ask to return for a second look. I spent over 500 dollars, which is another story, and two months later I still have not received my glasses. In addition it has been entirely up to me to clean up their errors with my insurance company that all they should have done was adjust my original claim rather than cancel it. Glasses are an important part of life but their childish resentment for me asking for a second look has caused me a great deal of stress. Again, I suggest you stear clear.

Everyone including the front desk, technicians, doctor, glasses selection (3 pairs), and checkout were super friendly and patient with my brood. Michele, Tammy, Amber and the sweetest Doctor ever cared for me today! My vision has been blurry for a couple of months so I went in and my astigmatism has gotten worse. Fresh contacts with a new script and I was good to go.

I’m not a normal patient of this practice but I came in for an emergency contact stuck in my eye. My regular optometrist is 45 min away and luckily Family Eye Med is right around the corner. They were amazing and were able to quickly work me in and help me out!! Very thankful for their speed and kindness!

I had been sitting there waiting to be seen for over an hour. I finally went and asked why? The lady that supposed to have checked me in jumped up and went to a filing system behind her in a separate area. I could tell I was not there then she came back to her computer and did some typing and said I should be called back soon. I was because evidently she did not do what should have been done when I arrived. A pain it was my birthday and I had plans this most definitely put a damper on my day. That is why they get 2 stars. After I got to the dr it was fine don’t take that long for him to do his test. Less than 15 minutes.

My first visit went very well. The staff and Dr. Boone were nice. He explained what was happening with my eyes from the pictures he took. I would recommend them to my family and friends.

Dr. Boone went the extra mile to make sure my contact prescription was correct. He exudes the peace that only comes from time with the Son. I dont get many chances to do business with a Christ-centered business. There is a world of difference.

Horrible place the staff is great but your prescription is wrong 90% of the time and they swear its not but yet you can go to a better eye doctor and get the correct prescription. Dont waste your money here go ahead and go somewhere else save yourself the trouble

I see Dr. Ditto. She is very personable & performed a miracle in getting my contacts prescription to where I don’t have to wear readers too. I’m a minus 13 nearsighted! The eyewear specialist helped me pick out the cutest pair of glasses too from their nice selection.

Both of my boys had check ups and were scheduled at the same time. Dr Pino and his staff are so quick and efficient that we were in and outta there in an hour, glasses picked out, paid for everything! We have always gone to Dr Pino and always will.

This eye group is excellent. Staff very knowledgeable. The doctors take time to talk to you about your eyes. I am 59 and having trouble with dry eyes. They have been trwating me for dry eyes for past 6 months. I also got my eye exam there, great selections of frames. Ended up getting regular glasses & sunglasses. Convenient for me to bop in & have adjustments done on my glasses if needed.

Waited maybe 10 minutes or less for appointment and when they got me back they were very fast, efficient, and answered all my questions with thought and care

I had an eye infection, so I called and they got me right in that day. I wasn’t able to arrange childcare, but they were great with my 2-yr old. Amber went above and beyond to entertain my toddler so Dr Boone could examine my eyes and give me instructions for care. It was really nice on a day that started out bad.

My 5 year old granddaughter wanted she and I to have our eyes checked together. Dr. Pino did just that! It made both my granddaughter, her Mom, and this grandmother very happy. Dr Pino was very thorough in the exam, and explained in detail both our vision issues. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

They are absolutely awful! I was searching for them so I could leave a bad review and this post came up. When my husband first went they told him to change contact brands and he has absolutely hated the brand they switched him to. When he called on Tuesday he did not get a call back until Thursday and the lady was extremely rude with him. When he called back again today they never returned his call. Now he is out contacts until they order them on Monday if he can actually get a hold of them. They have his prescription so he cant go anywhere else. We cant wait til he gets his old contacts so we never have to go back again. I recommend everyone to stay as far away from this place as possible. They dont care about their patients wants or needs and are very rude!
