Tried to get a Covid booster with an appointment. They double booked appointments and I stood around getting nowhere for 20 minutes before leaving. Nobody can pick up prescriptions because they are inefficiently messing around with vaccine paperwork. The pharmacy appears to be badly understaffed and horrendously managed. Will never set foot in this store again.
Made an appointment for a flu shot. Showed up 15 minutes before to fill out any paperwork. There was no way to check in so I had to stand in line for 30 minutes just to get the forms same as if I was just walking in. This is ridiculous. Why offer appointments if you don’t honor them?
DO NOT SCHEDULE COVID TESTS HERE!!! Youll schedule online, get a confirmation, wait in the drive thru for them to say their system doesnt work...
In defense of the pharmacy. The secret for me is to wait for the text, phone call and/or email that the pharmacy sends when my prescription is ready. If I didnt get the call, text or email then I know it aint ready. Period. If the prescriber tells me she will call in prescription, but I never get a call text or email that Walgreens is working on it then they dont have it. Vanette is fabulous. There are a few more ladies that deserve kudos, but I dont know their names. I feel for the techs because there are not enough scheduled to work to assist the amount of customers they have. I have had to wait, but as long as they acknowledge that I am waiting, I try to stay patient..
This Walgreens is the worst! In addition to all of the known to be true horror experiences already shared, let me just add that HIPPA protections are not enforced. My husbands file was recently hijacked by a pharmacy tech by the name of Patti. She had the audacity to go into his file after he left the store from picking up my prescription. She collected his phone number and called him to have a personal conversation regarding her interest in him. Yep, she tried to hook up with my husband by violating his protective rights. When we called corporate to launch an investigation they were uninterested and unbothered by this violation of rights and professionalism. This happened over 3 weeks ago and still haven’t heard anything concerning the investigation. They need a full overhaul of staff and management because what’s there now is plain awful!
Severely understaffed! I can see the technicians trying to fulfill requests but it’s obviously too much work for too little employees!!!!!! Whoever is in charge should be ashamed! Hire more technicians or I expect many people will go get their prescriptions filled elsewhere!

They never have the medication the pharmacy is always out they made me spend money on a ride just yo tell me when i get there they dont have it I called before I caught a uber there becuase the pharmacy operator told me my prescription was ready but it was not easy of time you got yo basically sit all day just for your medication its not fair for ppl who does not have transportation

Had to get blood pressure taken over two days for the VA, first day 2 hour wait, second day 1 and a half hours and Im still waiting. All the covid shot people have come and gone and Im still here. Thanks guys
Most items are over priced by $5-10. Upon checking out I noticed the lady cashier scooted the hand basket to me. I knew she was gonna ask me to put the hand basket back. And she did. How about when you visit me at my restaurant I ask you to wash your dishes and serve yourself? If everything didnt cost so much I could see her point. Just place it back since I am walking that way. I want to compliment Jonathan (helping in Photos) for his amazing customer service! My mom and I came in looking to get passport photos done. We had stopped by a CVS but they told us they did not do any photos past 4pm. We then came to this Walgreens and spoke to Jonathan who let us know they don’t do passport photos after a certain time but that he would still help us. He may not know it but this small favor helped us out tremendously. Thank you again, Jonathan! I would definitely recommend this location simply for the care from the staff.
Got a covid test here a little less than two weeks ago and still no results. They told me 3-5 days! This store is so poorly managed and the employees dont seem to know where anything is and have horrible attitudes. Corporate needs to replace whoever is managing this store because clearly I am not the only one who feels this way ( this is a 2 star walgreens ). Of course corporate probably doesnt give two sh*ts because of the type of neighborhood this store is in so sad.
Had to wait 1 hour and fifteen minutes passed my appt time for my vaccine. I arrived 15 min early, I had filled out my paperwork, had my insurance card and drivers license. I thought the whole reason for an appt was so you could not wait over an hour. I can understand being a little behind, but over 75 min. Ridiculous

My experience with This branch is disappointing. They have one singular employee that is at all good at the job. Recent experience; my soon to be mother in law was visiting us from Fl during which she found she had an infection. Her Dr called in a prescription to her local pharmacy and we went to our Walgreens to have it transferred. Vanette handled this and we had it within 2 hours.It turned out that MIL is allergic to the antibiotic (never had it so didn’t know). We called her dr to get a replacement they called it in to her local pharmacy and we had to go through the process of transferring it again. Vanette was off and it took 4 phone call, 2 full business days and then a visit to Walgreens so my MIL could call her pharmacy herself and get everything started. Turns out Walgreens hadn’t even called at all the second time.Vanette thank you! The rest of you are slow, poorly trained and apparently not skilled enough for the job you have.
Broken drive-thru window for weeks requiring in store visitation during a global pandemic. They regularly forget to include all medications available when picking them up. Constantly needing to get a manager because of disorganization in their own systems. Stay away from this place if you value speed, convenience, or competency.
This store suuuuuuuuucks so bad. They are very slow and inattentive. It doesn’t matter if you’re in the store, waiting in the pharmacy drive-thru, or waiting to speak to someone on the phone, they always make you wait for what seems like a YEAR. Every single time! My family comes to this pharmacy, which is the only reason I have to deal with them. Ugh!
I think I have only been here once before but I stopped yesterday to get a print made that someone sent to my phone on whatsapp. A young guy named Sammy helped me and it took a long time as it wouldnt work even though he downloaded it to my photos. He kept at it until he figured out a way around it. Much longer than I would have ever expected. The photo was very important to me and I so appreciated his customer service and patience with someone who had zilch knowledge of how to do this. I give this guy 5 stars for service.
My prescription was put in at 2pm. I showed up at 5:30pm and the Pharmacy said they were already working on my prescription and it would be ready in 15 minutes. I told them that I would be sitting in their waiting room which was acknowledged. I sat there while people around me were called up that their prescriptions were done. After an HOUR of waiting I finally go up and it turns out my prescription was there the entire time. If youre going to set up a precedent to call up people when their prescriptions are done then I expect it to be followed for EVERYONE.
The worst Walgreens of all time. Absolutely horrible customer service. Waited over an hour for a covid test and never got it. Two people working the window. Do not come here unless you have nothing to do for 24 hours

Awful customer service at the pharmacy. The lines are always long. Only have one cashier. When I call they pick up and then put me on hold, it rings back and they continue to pick up and put it on hold which doesn’t help because anytime my doctor calls something in or I request a refill it literally takes them over 24 hours to fill it. I check the status of it on my Walgreens app and it’ll say “filling prescription” status for hours! And then when I get there they say “oh we just need 15 minutes”. I’ve had it with this pharmacy. I’d rather drive to the one in Columbia. It’s a shame I have to do that but I have zero patience for this location,
Here it is 7:08 am and the doors are still locked!! The cashier is just strolling through the store with her cash box without a care in the world. Oped the store on time!!! People have stuff to do. When I get inside the store the cashier doesnt even greet me when check out. RudeHere it is a year later and nothing has changed. The staff is so rude and act like you are bothering them. The toilet paper was on sale for 3.75 but rang up at $5. When I bought this to the cashiers attention she rudely said its $5. Do you want it? the picture below clearly shows that the toilet paper is $3.75!!! Rude people. Not even worth arguing with people like this. I shouldve went to CVS like I normally would, but against my better judgement I came here. Never again.

This location has the worst pharmacy! Do not transfer your prescriptions here, they have the worst service. Extremely long wait time every time!!!!!! always messed up my prescription refills and rude staff. I would love to find a way to report this to their pharmacy manager.
Placed an order that was canceled without so much as a call or email. Found out when I drove all the way over. I was asked by Walgreens to leave a review for the purchase on their website. I wrote exactly what I wrote above and they took it down. These guys are hilarious.

I had an emergency need for a Walker & bought 1 from Walgreens on the Outer Banks brand new. Two months later, TWO wheels fell off because the plastic cover caps that hold the wheels fell off. Who makes an integral part out of cheap plastic? Walgreens! The back rest has to be removed before you can close up!! Nonsense. The seat is too small and narrow and unable to carry items on the seat. Grade: F- Also, Walgreens charged more than price noted. Walgreens is a RIP off place. Have tried calling for return and credit, no one answers. My son is putting in a dispute. Please only buy GOOD walkers made by Drive. Steer clear of Walgreens & MEDLINE junk. They took advantage of me, a disabled 71 year old. If I could give zero stars I would. This Walgreens is a disgrace to the Walgreens brand. I will be contacting the corporate office because they need to change management of this store. The service in the pharmacy is very poor. They dont have any cuatomer service skills whatsoever. They never have your prescription ready, even when youve called it in and the voice response system has contacted your phone a million times to confirm your prescription is ready for pickup. I have now opted to drive the extra miles to go to another Walgreens.

Would give it a 0 star if possible. Called them multiple times, twice yesterday and many more times today yet they dont pick up, it rings for a bit then hangs up. I went there for passport photos and they said theyre not doing them, no reason given. Great service, definitely recommend or all your needs.

Called to ask if they had a specific nasal spray in stock and the woman who answered the phone said No rudely. And I went and they had it in stock... like why.

Do NOT go here for your prescriptions. I had to wait a full 24 hours before my prescription was ready. Theyre a bunch of liars who tell you that it takes just 30 minutes to get it ready, but ultimately it took over 24 hours while I was in pain after a surgery. Absolutely pathetic!
I have been extremely impressed with the store having my medication. And the really friendly staff. Their shelves stocked.
I’ve gone in this store 6-7 times in the last year, or so, and every single visit, they are always significantly short-staffed and the staff that are working are unhelpful and unpleasant - EVERY SINGLE TIME! This last visit has been the final straw, I will never return to the Laurel location. The Columbia store is far better - go to that one, instead!

Poor customer service - employee just didnt try, or help, or care at all. Literally walked away. Only gave two stars because manager tried to make it right with me. Ive been going here since it opened - wont be going back.
Update 12/12: I dont know if its the same person, but again there is a pharmacy cashier not properly wearing theyre mask over their nose. Pathetic, stupid, and embarrassing.Multiple employees not wearing their masks correctly. Including an employee in the pharmacy. The cashier at the front kept pulling her mask down to talk for some reason.

I have been getting my prescription filled here for two years with no problem. I just went to get my prescription filled again, and they decided, WITHOUT asking me, to change my prescription to the generic brand even though the name of the medicine I have been on was clearly named. Why do they think they can just change it? Even if it is comparable, I have a right to decide what goes in my body. And I do NOT want to switch after being on one thing for 2 years to suddenly the knock off brand. Did not even ask. I trusted them and only found out it was wrong when I went to use it the next day. Guess I get to spend another hour waiting in the Walgreens.
Bypass this Laurel location. It is the worse. They are never adequately stocked. I went two days in a row thinking they may restock, but the second day was so bad I thought they were closing this location. The Walgreens in Columbia is better stocked with a larger selection.
Not a good place to shop, extra long lines at check out, employees are lost and dont know what they are doing. Stuff is expensive and sales are no good. They are good candidate for bankruptcy.
Im here just before 2pm on December 18th. The lady behind the photo counter tell me that they cant do passport photos because theyre 4 days backed up on orders. In past experience establishments just print and hand them to you. New development, Im typing this while in line to get some Christmas swag and the old guy is having trouble with money. The young cashier had to help out so we could get out of there. This place is awful.
Transferring all my prescriptions somewhere else. Used to love this place, but service in pharmacy has gotten really bad. Was told my prescription would be ready at 3, still waiting at 3:30. Used to be able to refill prescriptions online by scanning through the app, now even if I get a confirmation email and one saying the prescription is ready, they still dont have it in the system and I have to wait. Final straw was when I came I. To pick up a new prescription and wad given one that I had called and cancelled 3 weeks ago! Dont waste your time here...
Nice & big branch that has most of what you need. However, many selfs are empty or it has only one item.
While this Walgreens might have bad reviews and is lacking in certain areas I had a brief but memorable encounter with one the young associates working there. I believe his name was Jayden and he went above and beyond to help me. I was in the store to buy certain greeting cards and such for a funeral I was going to and Jayden gave me some recommendations and was so nice and sympathetic towards my situation. We need more humans like Jayden. Best worker I’ve ever encountered.
The Pharmacy staff at this Walgreens location you cannot trust! If you have complicated medications dont go to this location! The evening staff are rude and unwilling to help. I found a medication error and when questioned boy were they irritated to have to stop and talk with me and correct the problem thats pretty darn scary. Walgreens corp needs to really investigate the problem its dangerous.

The one young lady Vanette, covering both inside and outside prescriptions is most patient and helpful, however, she needs help due to customers waiting at drive thru window as well as inside. Too much for one person. I recently switched from CVS to Walgreens due to insurance. My experience has been less than desirable every visit. For instance, i called and was on hold for 20 minutes and still NO Answer.There is a real need for hiring more help. This is so unacceptable. If it wasnt for her pleasant and calming demeanor i dont know what id do.Please hire someone to help soon.
I left CVS for the same reason looks like the same staff went over to Walgreens. Every time I need my medication refilled I have to keep calling to check on it, they never have my medication. My doctors office fax over my paperwork last Thursday and again today, I called them and got we havent gotten anything. I need my medication to breath, every time I go there they just standing around, playing like kids with each other and they have you stand there for awhile until one of them draw the short straw. Im so tired of this pharmacy we need employees who actually do there job there and not give you a run around each time
Pharmacy is super slow, especially the drive thru...better to drop off and come back.The walk in flu shot is a walk in, fill out paperwork and wait for about an hour...they have only 1 pharmacist who can administer it.
They took 1 month to print my pictures and couldn’t hold it for couples of weeks to pick up. Awful people awful service, at lest let your customers know your are putting their pictures in trash after 1 week.
The pharmacy staff needs to improve their service. I came to pickup my filled prescription, well after the stated time only to be told 1 script couldnt be filled until tomorrow morning due to insurance. Got up early the next day to combat traffic, only to be told they still wont fill it due to something else. ...totally wasting my morning. . .really really frustrating. ..
Worse pharmacy ever. Over a month we had 3 prescriptions filled here, all took over 5 hours and one prescription the pharmacy didnt even fill. Shut doors and said were closed. Go anywhere but here. lazy workers.
Horrible customer service. For some odd reason my packed was sent here instead of left at my residence I called to even see if my oblate was at the store I was told to call back after 6pm because the FEDEX truck hasn’t dropped any packages yet. So I call back at 7pm and was put on an extremely long hold to be hung up on then I called back to be told by a store clerk we have an extremely long line and we are short staffed so I won’t be able to get you that information.Worst experience ever !Don’t waste your time or money

Chronically understaffed pharmacy. After my prescription order was messed up such that I had to come in twice in a row, I spent half an hour on hold with no one answering to see if it was ready, then an hour and a half in the store waiting for an emergency prescription to be filled. Im going to be changing to mail order prescription after this. Snail mail is faster than this pharmacy.

The pharmacy at this location needs serious work. It is poorly ran and short on staff. Lately, my prescription orders are always incorrect and its becoming a real inconvienence/nuisance. And they always have a lackadasicial attitude which makes matters even worse. Even with me calling ahead to confirm the order details, they STILL get it wrong. My doctor always puts explicit instructions on the order so I just dont understand what their problem is. Ill be transferring my prescription elsewhere; this pharmacy is incompetent as hell.
This is the worst Walgreens I have ever had the displeasure of going to in 15 years of using Walgreens. After filling about five prescriptions here, I will never, ever make this mistake again! They take a ridiculously long time to fill every single prescription and nothing is ever ready on time. Their communication is terrible. You will be waiting on a prescription and then youll come back two hours later when its supposed to be ready and they will tell you that they are out of it. There is always a line at the pharmacy. Save yourself the trouble, this Walgreens is a joke.

Extremely unhelpful and poor service. Ive waited 12 days for Rx to be filled and the error is entirely on their end.A few associats are kind and courteous, but most are incredibly unhelpful. Ive stood many times in line for 30-hour over reasons that could have been easily avoided on their part. They recently had me stand 45 minutesm in one line to tell me my medication was in and then told me I need to move 4 ft to the left to pick it up- then employee LITERALLY had it in his hands yet wouldnt check me out. I had to wait another 30 minutes.They also told me they accepted a certain type of insurance and after a week of debate and hassle finally told me it wasnt accepted.I only go because its so nearby, but Im quickly reevaluating that...

Pharmacy has good service, IMO. Sometimes the wait can be long for certain drugs but I dont think that the issue is with Walgreens.

Have always had great service at this Walgreens. In fact, switched all my meds from the CVS next door to this pharmacy. The CVS next door and the one in Burtonsville are just THE WORST!
The pharmacy is open til midnight but they wouldnt fill my meds at 11:45 pm because they said it they couldnt fill one prescription and still close on time. I had to drive to a CVS out of town to get it filled and didnt get home until the middle of the nightFALSE Advertising.
If you can go to ANY other pharmacy then do it. Otherwise, you will wait for over an hour just to have the ONE tech working say its going to be another 15 minutes (really means another hour). Terrible customer service.
