I got my screen replaced here 3 weeks ago and tell me why the screen is popping off. It was replaced with a good working screen but not installed correctly. They charged me $120 for it (iphone model XS Max) I would expect from a place rated pretty high for better service but no. Basically a temporary fix. Now I’m going to another phone repair shop so they can actually install my screen correctly.

The nice lady in the front was cool. They kept my phone for 6 days just for them to tell me they couldn’t fix the speaker. Would’ve been nice to know the first day or two. Don’t recommend coming here.

I called talked to the guy he said drive over i drove over right than and sign on the door wont be back for another hour !!!! What the heck??? I called back and come to find out the guy who answers the manager isnt at the store nor does he know when the store employees take their lunch. I said whats up you told me to drive down here and store is closed for an hour he said thats business go somewhere else or wait the hour outside!!!! I cant believe this treatment i am going on reddit, Facebook and every other social media page and writting a bad reveiw. I will tell everyone i know about this kind of tratment these guys are horrible. They dont care about people at all oh yea when he said go somewhere else he hung up on me !!!! Update I waited the hour told people in store said I left bad reveiw they denied me as a customer!! She said you left a bad review why do you want to be here, talked her into keeping phone than they wouldnt give me a receipt for my phone showing they have my property had to demand one !! This was totally surreal I didnt think people could be treated like this by a bussiness

I dropped my iPhone 8+ a couple months back and the camera & flash completely stopped working. I was originally considering going to an actual Apple location but because of corona, theyre all closed. I finally got around to getting it fixed and saw the reviews for this place and called for details. Amazing customer service, super personable and informative, the call was answered almost immediately and a quote was given within minutes. Both my camera & flash were fully fixed, only cost me $100 which is more than worth it in my opinion considering my only other options were to get an entirely new phone for $800+ or to deal with an extremely inconvenient situation for who knows how long. I also came in with a cracked screen protector and they gave me a new one for free. I went in around 5 and the work was done by 7 which I was very happy with because I fully expected it to take at least a day or two. They even waited a bit for me to pick the phone up after having closed which was really nice. Overall an amazing, easy, and super fast experience, thanks again !!

Took a Apple Watch to fix a battery on July 17 and they told us it’s a 3-7 day business and it’s been 4 weeks and they still don’t call me back

I replaced my broken screen for an iPhone 7 Plus for $70, then I have to come back 2 weeks after to ask them to replace it again because it’s not working right. But they say they can’t replace it because it’s not working even though not even 2 weeks have passed!! That’s a really dirty way to do business. They act like it’s not their fault that their products came defective!! I would definitely NOT recommend them at all!

I went to go gadgets to get my iPhone repair. I have been going to this place for four years, Vivian came out to attend to us. While she was questioning if the phone was dropped or not she replied “you don’t have to tell me the truth, because the technician will know” with a really condescending and snarky attitude. We let it slide and handed her the phone which than she replied with “your phone will be done in an hour.” Changing the LCD of a phone only takes about 20-30 minutes, it was understandable that she gave an hour time frame she did clarify that it wasn’t that busy. We sat in the car and waited in the car for two hours we get a call back and she tells us my phone wouldn’t be done until Monday and she told us and question us if the phone was the phone with the broken screen which wasn’t our phone. We walked in and told her we will take our phone else well and she denied the fact she told us it would only take 4 hours. I will take my business else well it was a good four years.

I brought my working cracked iPhone 11 in and got the screen fixed and now my phone is disabled and can’t even restore it or nothing they broke my phone or attempt to put a password on it then selves because now my phone doesn’t work LAW SUIT IN ACTION AS I SPEAK

Had to put a deposit to order a port for my phone. After 2 months they finally told me they couldnt get it and now wont give me my deposit back. I have showed them the form they make you fill out and proof of my cash app payment. It has been a month and a half since I told them I need a refund and they argue with me over text. DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS.

I walked in with no appointment and was seen immediately about the cracked screen on my Note 9. It took less than 5 minutes to arrange repair and fill out all necessary paperwork, but the real shock was being told it would be done in less than 2.5 hours. 1 hour later I was receiving a call it was ready for pickup at my convenience. Picking it up I was amazed. It had been dropped on rough concrete but there was NO evidence of scratching or marring anywhere. I think they replaced the case as well as the glass for no extra charge! Their base rate was very reasonable. This was a fantastic experience and I know where ill be bringing my electronics for repair from now on :D

Had And appointment waited more than 30 minutes . They never showed up. Plus never even text or call they will be late. When store opens at 10am. Hello!!! Now I understand all this bad reviews with people not happy with their business. And sending us to our actual company. Plus they gave a big excuse saying they where not gonna show up the whole day. And they focus on quality rather than speed. It should all be included! Duh! And you think we dumb! Obviously it takes time to get a phone fix duh! Ridiculous! Really Un-professional! Had done business with them in the past which is why I returned recently. This time was severely disappointed by their service, they left me feeling uneasy about trusting them.First, I called to ask the approximate estimated time of repair for iPhone 6 screen, they quoted 2 hours. Two hours later we show up they say the phone isn’t ready yet, it should be ready at 5:30PM (It was 3:10PM). Cool, they call us at 4PM that the phone is ready. I consider it poor business to lie about these things, I’d rather be told straight up it will be 4 hours or more. Second thing that turned me off about them, originally when I came in the girl knew it was an iPhone 6, she knew the Home button didn’t work asked me if I wanted it restored since my phone had been disabled due to the screen glitching. Originally declined since I thought I’d be able to connect it to iTunes to do it myself. Two step verification did not allow me to do this, therefore I came back the next day to see if they could do it since they had asked if I wanted her to do it the day before. Was told it would be $20 for the restoring of the phone, agreed she comes back 10 minutes later to say my Home button doesn’t work therefore can’t restore. Which is legitimately what I’ve been trying to explain, as if they paid no attention to anything you told them is going on. Anyways it would be another $30 to fix the Home button, $50 total. Ended up declining, getting my $20 back went to Apple instead where they restored my phone by using one of their screens with a working home button. They also let me know the screen and home button come as one therefore they do not understand why they only changed the screen. Keep an eye out for their up sells, not trusting them with my business ever again. Keep in mind majority reviews are because they give you a FREE SCREEN PROTECTOR.

This review is on work quality, the customer service is great. They are friendly and polite plus the store is clean and organized. I took my phone in for a cracked screen/LCD and got it a week later back to find out that they had damaged a censor inside that controls the touch sensor. They did replace the screen and I wasnt charged for anything but now i only have 75% of my phone available to use due to the damaged censor. They did refer me to a different shop that can help me ( their the ones that notice the missing censor). I might go back for accessories if Im in the area but I doubt Ill be back for service repairs, save your self the headaches and trouble and just go to an authorized cellphone provider repair shop( Verizon/at&t ect. store) I learned the hard way. Just pay the extra $50 at a legitimate place.

This place is great, theyre really nice, they really try to help you. They dont try to over charge or make you pay for things you dont need done like most other places. They are quick too, I needed my phone back quick, and I would have had it the same day except I brought it right when they were closing but it was ready the next morning when they opened so they worked past closing to fix it with no extra charge. I will definetely go here again if I need my phone fixed.

I am going to start off with the price was great but I took my sons phone in to get fixed (cracked screen) at 5pm and was told it would be ready in 40 minutes. I waited a hour then went back and was told it wasnt ready, it would be another 15 minutes. I didnt want to wait so I told them I would be back at 10am (when they open) the next day. I got there the next morning a little after 10am only to be told by a female employee it still wasnt ready. I was a little aggravated because I had to be at work at 1100. A male employee stated it was ready he just needed to grab it out of the safe then goes in the back to get it. (So I thought) 15 minutes later he comes back out without saying a word to me, so I asked him if it was ready, he said he was waiting on the key to the safe. I then asked when will the key be there and he said it would be there in about 10 minutes. If your business opens at 10:00 you should have everything you need to successfully run your business at 10:00 am. I was clearly aggravated because of the lack of communication. I told them I would have to come back the next day to pick it up because I had to get to work and didnt get off work until after they close. He walked in the back again then walked right back out and said I thought it was in the safe but here it is. This could have been a great experience with a little communication and a simple look on a desk.

Stopped in to fix a iPhone that wouldn’t charge. The owner, I think his name was Miguel, fixed it in about 10 seconds and said it was complimentary. That great service led me to look at merchandise and they ended up having crazy deals on phone covers. Got 2 otter boxes and 2 glass screen protectors for under $30!! On top of that, they had a great waiting area with jenga and connect4 to wait while your phone gets fixed!

At a glimpse my experience was great I had a broken iPad screen needed to get it fixed they had affordable prices got it done in a few hours called and I came in paid very nice went on my way. I was on vacation so as soon as it was done we had to head to the airport and fly out I charge it at the airport and find out the home button is lose shaking around and no longer works. No where where I live will fix it without putting in a new screen again which is 149$ here so Im going to be out the 80$ I paid at this place plus the money I need to pay again to get it fixed again.

I had my screen replaced two weeks ago. Was satisfied with the work. Dropped my screen last night it cracked. Completely my fault I understand. Brought it in to get it re-fixed they want to charge me full price. Again I understand it was my fault but if I’m willing to come back for business two weeks later I expect some sort of discount. If not then I will just find a place that’s closer to my house.🤷🏽‍♂️

Came here to get my phone fixed after I dropped it in water it took about 4 days to get it fixed which I understand but they called me and said it was ready and when I got there they said another two hours. Around a month and a half my phone started having lines and not working so I took it again they said it was a Brocken lcd screen it’s been about a week and my phone glitches out of no where. I also have another phone that I got fixed there and the screen is coming off not my favorite place and don’t recommend.

I came in needing my front screen fixed on an iPhone 8 and didn’t want to have to pay for the back too since my phone company said I can’t opt out of doing that. I only need my phone to last 3 more months for my next upgrade anyways. They were super fast and kept the cost low which I appreciated! Ok so I really did try to like this place sadly they already lost a customer! I took my note 9 in to them with a broken front screen and broke back glass well I came in around 2:30 pm on Wednesday of this week I understood that it would not be done that day and I was ok with that well they said it would be done Thursday went by they said that the back glass they had ordered cracked so they had to order a new one well I said ok but you guys said it would be ready today they did apologize and I figured that they were doing everything they can! Well come Friday 05/01/2020 have not herd from them all day long so I stopped in at 5:30 ish was told that they tried to call me several times I have zero missed calls well I paid $270 for the new screen and the back glass I asked them to call me if the back camera was not working well what do you guess no phone call! Well I pay my bill and get into my van as I’m looking at the phone I notice the back glass is not even!! And sticking out further than it use too from the factory well I take a look at the back and just can see the plastic they use to reseal the back well I figured I would just reset it to make it look good omg what I found was so bull!! They did not even bother to clean the old glue off stuck a green sticker in it to seal the back on the phone on and it just looked so trashy !! I will admit the front screen does look good! But I have also not tested it 100% I’m now waiting on my back camera to get here I’m just going to replace it my self with this being said I feel their is no point in going back and trying to see if they will make it right they already made it clear that they do not care about time management and I will never be going back to this place ever again! I should have just done it my self now I’m out $270 bucks on shorty work! Never again

5 stars are only for the businesses that deliver. This place really hits a home run. From answering the telephone, cleanliness of the store, to the diagnostic of my phone then repairing of my phone. What was promised to me they delivered. Did I tell you their prices are competitive and I had my phone back in no time. I do not see me going anywhere else.

Thanks to my new BFF Manny and my new most loved cell phone repair folks at Go Gadget Decatur! My phone works again! And for $100 LESS than the estimate! They fixed it in just two hours and didnt replace anything because it started working by just reconnecting what came undone when I dropped it on the pavement. I called this establishment and told her what type of phone I needed repaired and she gave me a price of $30. When I arrived I was told that the price would be $50. I asked why did the price change and she stated that she didn’t know that it was an iPhone. I told her that it was an iPhone when she asked me that over the phone before I arrived. I was told that it would be ready by 2:00, I dropped the phone off at 11:00. When I arrived to pick up my phone at 2:00 they had not even started on my phone. I was told that they had 3 phones ahead of mine so I got my phone and left. I went to a competitor of theirs and they fixed my phone while I waited and it took less than 15 minutes to fix. Not a good look for Go Gadgets, I will never take my business there again.

I’m giving them 5 starts for salesmanship. I brought my phone here to see if they could truly fix iPhone screens without my phone having negative reactions. Didn’t even make it 24 hrs before there was an issue. My phone doesn’t stay charged for more than an hour even at 100%. It’s been about 3 days my phones has been pretty much a paperweight. Although I signed a waiver to NOT ask for a refund PLEASE BELIEVE I’ll be back in there talking to whoever was fixing my phone. FYI YouTube doesn’t tell you what happens after fixing a screen on an apple product because they don’t have it right either. BONUS TIP AFTER YOU TAKE YOUR APPLE PRODUCTS HERE APPLE WILL NOT SERVICE THEM ANYMORE. CONGRATULATIONS!!! You now have an expensive paperweight.

I dropped my phone and my screen completely shattered I called around town and found Go Gadgets iPhone repair and they gave me the best price and quickest appointment. I came in everyone was super friendly and told me it would take 15-30 minutes to repair it and thats exactly how long it took it was super fast and looked brand new! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!!!

Unfortunately they were temporarily out of stock of screen protectors for samsung galaxy s8, but they were very friendly and did do their utmost best to help us. They recommended another place to go and were so friendly to look up the address for us.

The customer service and repair time was phenomenal! The other repair shops told me that that it would be approximately 3-5 days to get the part, but this shop got the part sent to them in the same business day. Its fantastic knowing that in the future I can come to Go Gadgets to get my phone repaired in the same day. I would recommend this shop to anyone in need of smart phone repair. Unlike most of their competition, this shop specializes in Android as well as iPhone repair. I.e. they have connections for android parts in town. Thanks for the great service and for repairing my Droid Turbo in the same business day!

The only reason this place has such good reviews is because they offer a discount for leaving reviews. They offer horrible service, and each time I have went there, my phone ended up with more issues than I went in with. When i take them back, they say that they can fix the issue... if i leave my phone overnight. I finally just went elsewhere and ended up paying less (Desert Wireless!!) and actually got all the problems with my phone fixed. They told me that Go Gadgets improperly fixed the issue and told me I had to replace things that were perfectly fine. And the woman I dealt with had a huge attitude. The low prices honestly aren’t worth it. Save your time and coin.
