This place is awesome!Friendly, Fast and efficient.Im a mother of two and run a business so my car is pretty important in my everyday life.I had a cracked radiator and the dealerships are backed up for weeks even months. I called VIP Auto and spoke with Candice who was very helpful and understanding of my situation she was able to get my car in and looked at within 45min she also hurried on the phone to call my warranty before they closed. Chad me just to look at my smog plug and not even plug it in to test. Then tried to grt me to buy a new serpentine belt which I had already replaced this year and is still under warranty. Definitely shady.

Manager Upselling me did not give me a good feeling. Sign said $14.95 oil change. Paid $49.95. Had just changed my cabin air filter and the manager said it needed replaced. Showed me a dirty filter. Not mine. Came home and my filter was clean.

Been coming to this location over 3 years with 4 cars, spent thousands, plus referring many ppl here due to the service and honesty. I have had zero problems until last week. I came with car that needed renewal smog..a car that had only been serviced here. The check engine light was in, and I had it checked prior to going to VIP so I knew what it was, and trusted VIP. My car failed as I knew it would and the code was explained, and I knew what it was as well...the female they send to deal with female customers had me convinced that doing the diagnose would be worth it because if I had any work there they wave the fees for diagnose as well as smog, I said even if its the gas cap...as my car has done that before, just needs to cycle after securing it. She said yes, only thing is they would get a dealer cap n that would cost more...so I agreed to pay 130.00 better diagnose. After sitting there almost 3 hours n seeing my car had not been worked on, they magically come and tell me my car needs THOUSANDS if work done..and about 1500 for parts, not labor to pass smog. I laughed and left.The next day I was going to find another repair service and saw my check engine was off, so I went for smog and passed immediately...this was morning after I was told by VIP that it would be thousand plus labor to even pass smog.So immediately I went to VIP to show them that they were wrong, and I had proof. They sent out Robert and Cody..who listened but did not agree that they were wrong. Robert was not even there the day or, Cody said he was, I never saw him. He basically called me a liar and said my check engine light was tricked and will come back on. Calling me a liar. Which has NOT COME BACK ON TO THIS DAY. I WAS GIVEN THE NUMBER OF REGIONAL MANAGER BOB, TO CALL. I CALLED FROM CAR IN FRONT OF VIP. BOB ANSWERED BUT SAID HE WOULD CALL BACK IN A HOUR HE WOULD BE BACK IN TOWN. That WAS THE 15TH. I CALLED AGAIN AND LEFT BOB A MESSAGE. NO RETURN CALL.TODAY I CALLED ANOTHER VIP TO SEE IF THIS BOB IS A REAL PERSON, THEY SAID YES..BUT COULD NOT GIVE ME HIS NUMBER. LOL. SO I LEFT MY INFORMATION WITH VIP ONCE AGAIN TO TALK TO BOB.LIKE I SAID I WAS A LOYAL CUSTOMER WHEN THE SMOGS WERE 8.95...NOW 14.99....NEW Front DESK NEW MECHANIC S AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.IM GONNA WAIT FOR THIS BOB TO CALL ME.

This place used to be very good. But since David and Jose left, they have raised prices and poor attitudes have developed. There are still good guys in the shop performing the work. Used to be my go to spot.

Came in for a SMOG test. It really was $14.99 which is great! I waited 2 hours though, which is pretty terrible for just smog. The waiting room was nice and cool though.It passed the test but they gave me a bunch of recommended services. For example they said my timing belt was off-time and that was making noise and needs replacing. Even though I replaced it less than 1 year ago and checked the timing YESTERDAY and it was on-time. So, when it comes to big maintenance items, Id probably go to a mechanic that stretches the truth a little less...

I went here because I needed both a smog and an oil change. When I left, I was out $800+ and the car stopped on me. Heres the story. The car ran fine prior to going into VIP Auto but after getting the services that they recommended so that I could pass smog.... Services like replacing my thermostat housing, upper and lower hose and rad sensor... I STILL couldnt pass smog. Juan tells me to drive it a little more and he will smog it for free. We drive for about fourteen miles and then the car starts knocking and finally shut off. Several mechanics have listened to that knocking and all of them said it sounds like the car is out of oil. So VIP did not put the oil plug back into the car correctly and it leaked out all the oil. I called the office and they offered to send a tow truck within the hour. Two hours later later when I called, they asked me to leave the keys in the car but since the car isnt registered I couldnt do that (and I had to get back to work). Finally, someone picked it up and towed it. The next morning Juan has Lily call me and tell me my car is ready for pick up. When I asked what was wrong with it I was told that nothing was wrong and there was no knocking and it starts right up (remember that I have audio of the knock). At that point I was done. They are very nice but they should have informed me of what was wrong with the car and they should have given me some sort of warrantee in case my engine block was damaged.

This the second year I have come and always great service and nice and friendly staff. Ill be back next year again

Juan was great, very friendly, and took great care of my Chevy. Been coming here for 2 years now and getting oil changes. I needed a smog check this time. I was in and out within 15 minutes. They are always honest and trustworthy. Im so happy I found this place! I recommend it to family and friends all the time!

(1) My check engine light was on my vehicle. I needed to get a smog check to get my vehicle registered.They took care of the check engine light, necessary parts, and did my safety inspection and smog.(2) I brought the vehicle back since I was so happy the first time, door lock on back door went out and cigarette lighter stopped working along with windshield wipers. They fixed that too!(3) I will be back a 3rd time for any and all necessary services for the future of any of my vehicles.All of the staff was great. David was the one who helped me.Highly recommend !Tip: Due to how good they are, they are usually very busy, call ahead to see best time to bring vehicle in.Thank you!

I went in to get a free brake inspection. After 2 hr wait i asked about the progree and receptionist said they were driving it. About 10 m I nutes later they told me my car wont start and brake light and engine light was on and i could not drive it. I told them it was fine when i drove it there. They got me a lift to go home and said they had to plug into cars computer for $139.00. To see what electrical issues were. They called in an couple of hrs and said needed new battery, spark plugs, oil and fluid changes as well as new tires and stuts. I agreed to battery and fluid and spark plugs which i had no idea why. $927.00 lattet i picked it up. I was so upset and took the car to a shop i have used before. Thdy showed me the oil was leaking and they never gave me new filter. Now my car makes new noices when i step on gas. They kept telling me my check engine light. And making noices when braking. I told them 3 times that didnt happen. Oh my brakes are fine. They took advantage of older women. Dont know how to fix what they have done. DONT GO THERE.

So I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE COME HERE … my father spent 2500$ to repair the air conditioning in my sisters 2002 solara and there’s a lot of unprofessionalism that went on for example …the first time I took the car for them to repair was about a month worth of time when I got the car back the air conditioner worked for a minute but then didn’t when I turned it off and on a couple times …. Took it back then they said they wouldn’t charge because they forgot to do something….FIRST RED FLAG …… second! They took another 3 and a half weeks and when I picked it up today it was working then I looked closer to the door and they took off her door panel broke the wood lining piece and proceeded to glue it back and give it to us broken …. 0 STARS NEVER WOULD RECOMMEND now for the third time we will have to take it back and tell them to fix yet ANOTHER MISTAKE THEY HAD MADE AND FAILED TO LET US KNOW ABOUTHighly unprofessional and immoral ….who brakes someone’s door when you were supposed to be doing the air conditioning….?

I am a mother of two and a woman, the woman manager at this store was amazingly honest and kind, my car was in horrible shape and she helped me get financing and all repairs done, the best thing she did was call me two days later to make sure everything was ok!! Thank you Candice and Vip staff!!

It is the worst workshop in Las Vegas, I do not recommend it, they are incompetent mechanics, I took my car, they made me change the part and they made me costly labor and in the end they told me that it was the engine that was damaged, I do not recommend it.

I am not impressed with the service or buisness st this place just to keep a sale at their buisness. I paid their 79.99 diagnostic fee for them to tell me my brand new batteries are defaulted. Check with auto zone or wherever before paying the fee at this place because they are more about buiness and making a dollar and you will be out that diagnostic fee on top of what you will have to pay for work. I would not recommend them or their tactics to get a sale and do not fall for the swift words. whe

They were honest no sneaky stuff, they dont push anything on you either like other mechanic shops do. I went in for oil change my first time there and i expected that they were going to tell me i have all these issues and try to push me into getting work done but nope they didnt they were honest and did honest work. They found a couple things wrong and physically showed me but no pressure at all on getting the work done. Other places will tell you that it needs to be done now and try to pressure you into getting it done there and now but the guy told me just get power steering fluid and keep filling it up and when you are ready then get it fixed he didnt pressure me into anything he was honest and helpful with helpful advice. You can trust them there.

Oil change was was good price but oil pan gasket replacement suggested was a bit crazy priced $189.00 before tax on a 2012 Kia Soul wont happen there.

After not passing a smog test at the DMV on Sahara, I took my car into this shop for a smog test. I also told them to perform diagnostics on car to see why my check engine light was on. The DMV provided a code to fix the smog failing issue. Their mechanics fixed a different issue with a different code not even provided by the DMV. They stated the diagnostics came back and I need my alternator replaced as well. I told them to go and fix smog failing issues and alternator as well. They claim they fixed it all after completing and the other issue (issue not even relevant to what I had originally came in for) was fixed as well. The check engine light was off when I drove off, they told me drive 50 miles or so for about a week and bring the car back into the shop for them to perform a smog test for me at no extra charge. I made my payment and off I went home. A couple of days later after service, the check engine light came back on. I did not panic because I knew I was going to revisit the shop that weekend for the actual smog test and have them take a look at the car again. I went back to the shop a week later to get the issue resolved. They told me they had to run another diagnostics test on the car for several hours. They did and told me that there were more issues with the car. Issues that were not present the week prior. Issues that had derived in the past week of me driving, after they claim the issue was fixed. I asked the mechanic who is also a manager (so he claims) was not able to elaborate on things. He was not able to. He was not well versed or educated to do a deep dive on the issues fixed and the new issues that had came up. He was very disappointed in their mechanical skills and will not be doing business with this shop ever again. He was very rude and made comments and gestures that showed unprofessionalism. I told them thank you and left the office. I will not be doing business with this company again.

Stopped by for a smog check, and was out of there in less than 20 minutes. They were super friendly, and implemented covid safety guidelines to keep customers safe.

Run from this place. I brought a coupon that I received from them for free diagnostic check and was told afterwards it would be $49. The girl at the counter said it was free but the mechanic said it was my fault I didnt read the small print ? The mechanic also wanted to charge around 3k for basic repairs.

We had to bring the car back multiple times. After the initial service it was having the same check engine light notification. We even advised what the issue was and were told that wasnt it. Allowed them to fix something else only to have to bring it back and be told it was the issue we stated. They are really nice as far as customer service goes but it was truly a headache.

I stopped going to the Sahara location because their service just got worse and worse. I went to the Decatur location today and I was less than impressed. The worse thing was that I parked in a disabled spot and yet the guy who took my car from the disabled spot parked my car in a corner spot as far away from the door as he could. Way to be be as disrespectful as possible!! And, Im not really convinced that the 10-15 minutes they had my car in a bay was sufficient time to do all they billed me for plus what I was actually there for. Oh and for the employee who ate his lunch in the reception/check in area, in front of everyone, that was rude and unprofessional. I dont think the mother of the little boys that were watching you and started asking for food appreciated the position you put her in. Also, you forgot to give me a reminder sticker for my car but its ok because I wont be back to V.I.P., any of your locations.

Love this place! Everybody here is so helpful and so nice! This is the first place where they do not just hand me a list of fixes that supposedly need done that will cost me thousands of dollars. Since I found them I havent taken my jeep anywhere else!

Worst experience ever. Do NOT take your vehicle in for repair work. I took my car in for routine fluid flushing etc. Said that they recommended front brakes (I had the rear done a few months ago). Sure absolutely. No problem there, however, on the way home from picking up the vehicle, my Dad hears a clank sound when making a right hand turn. Of course he says nothing to me until after I drive it once on the highway and wonder why it is shaking and pulling to the right about 60mph. Take it back and they need to replace the front struts and support arms. I never had any of these issues before they did my front brakes. On the way home it breaks, wth!?!? Almost a $1400 repair!! Sure, dont seem to have much of a choice. Go to pickup vehicle at because they said it would be done at closing. Upon pickup, they tell me the part was defective and they need me to bring it back in the morning. Next morning, take it there at opening 8am. Call at noon for update, will be ready in 20-30mins. Get there at 1, they come out to tell me the part is defective again and need to order a new one from somewhere else. No estimate on time. I wait, no call before closing. Next day I was out of town, but still, not a single phone call!! I called the next day, yeah, its ready. I show up and they dont want to even speak to me, honestly Im so livid. I pickup my car, its still making a little bit of noise and I am missing a hub cap. Worst service ever!!! What do they care, they got paid in full.

This place is the real deal..... I’ve brought both of my trucks here and they are nothing but professional and fast at doing the work that they do. No one tries to up sell you into getting something that doesn’t need to be done. And they are the best priced place that I’ve been to. Grease monkey garage is the best garage Ive ever been to. Tony and Bella are honest and take care and time to talk with you about the actual problem with your car and what it needs to fix it. They worked with my husband and I and actually showed us on our car itself where the issues were. I will send everyone I know there.

I took in my car for an oil and filter change. when they were changing the oil they mentioned i needed a oil new oil pan and they were charging me $300 to fix it. as soon as i got home my car started leaking oil. i put some cardboard under the car to see if it was leaking or not and it was. and it sure was. my car was never leaking anything before this visit. DON’T COME HERE THEYRE SCAMMERS!!!

TL;DR They parked my car in a DISABILITY PARKING SPACE ILLEGALLY.The receptionist was very welcoming and informed me that the groupon deal was not as cost efficient as just paying their amount ($12), and she told me that it should be done in 40 minutes; however, this warm welcoming was short lived as we waited for over 1 hour before I asked her the status on my car. She then walked back to the garage and told me 20 more minutes. 15 minutes later a mechanic came out to ask me which car was mine. I asked him why I was sitting in the waiting room for over 1 hour, he said for the slot to be free for the car to be even seen.I understand that since I was a walk-in I am not as highly prioritized, but when I called on the phone and talked to the woman at the desk they both had stated 40 minutes. They never updated me about the status of the car, and I am concerned that if I never talked to her they would never have worked on my car. If they had, then I may have changed my plans or decided to go later. Im disappointed with the professionalism.UPDATE: After all of this hassle they parked my car in a DISABILITY PARKING SPACE. I am not coming back here.

Just recently got a/c did, very poor job. Did just enough to get us out the door Happy

They advertise a $8.99 smog but fail to let you know they only authorize ONE person on their whole staff to do them. And they dont do them on weekends. I went in on a Saturday and was told to come back Monday at 9am. When I went back Monday, the smog person still wasnt there and I was told to come back Tuesday. Tuesday I decided to call before I went and guess what, not performing smogs that day either. Save yourself the trouble and pay the $15-$20 elsewhere.

On Monday March 16, Sign reads closes at 6pm I arrived at approximately 524pm and walked passed the so called owner in the parking lot. I waited in the waiting area with two apparent customers. I waited in the area for some time then went outside again past the so called owner. I entered the service bay several employees were congrating and talking I asked can I have some service? The female employee left the group and preceded to the front area where customers are served.I was then told were closed, I said its before 6pm, again told we close at 5pm, while the sign reads 6pm close time.While exiting the store upset,I asked the employee who I saw earlier that day, are you the owner he replied Yes.I relayed to him I was serviced earlier today with no issues. Then I explained I waited, had to find an employee and then told we close at 5pm. Then he told me to take my business somewhere else and in the furture. I replied I most surly WILL

You get what you pay for. I had my oil changed here, and my car started running louder at idle. It also started smelling like a classic car, with thick burnt oil scents... even in the cabin. They didnt say what viscosity oil they used.. but if it was the correct type, it was very very low quality. I changed to full synthetic at Meineke after this and the car is running smooth again... Still waiting for the smell to fade. Only giving 2 stars because it was appropriately priced and my engine didnt seize.

We even enjoyed a complimentary fresh cup of coffee while we waited. This will be my new go-to spot for Smog Check @ $8.99. They actually gave us our first one on the house. It was great!

At first this place was great but now this place will destroy your vehicle. I went in for an oil change and they over filled my engine with more than 2 quarts of oil when asked why the tech said thats what the computer says to put on he never looked at the dipstick it has ruined my engine.

So glad I found this place. Michelle and the team is awesome. I arrived at 5:35 pm for an oil change the shop closes at 6 pm and they replaced my oil and did a full check in less than 20 mins. I would definitely be coming back again. Can’t beat $8.99!!!

First off the manager Charles is very RUDE, I would hate to have him manager my business. He told me its spilled milk get over whatever happen because I am here now. But you missed the point where I had to come all the way back here. Who ever changed my oil in my car didnt put enough oil in it, my oil life was saying 34 percent before I came there .. I went in today before it was at 30 percent . I got my oil charged it should have been at 100 percent. It needed to be reset is what I was told. So odd they claim to only added another quart to my car but why now it say 100 percent. Had the nerve  to pretty much say it  does not matter  who ever did not change  it correctly or  look up the the correct information about my car. we fixing it now is all that matter. I told him its the principal behind it. What if my tire was not put back on right its spilled milk get over it.. I will be filing a report with BBB.. Also had me pay again for the  extra oil they had to put in there..He was no type of help at all should not be in his position.. Thats how companies closed up.

Best and cheapest place for SMOG!

I brought my car in for a quick Uber inspection. They were in fact very quick and charged a great price! My only complaint is that I had just gotten my black car washed, and they had left a number of smudges on the paint and dirt marks going into the car.

DANGEROUS WORK! They did a repair incorrectly and my car became dangerous to drive while I was on a long haul drive. When I was able to finally pull over, I was stranded in the middle of nowhere. When I was finally able to get to a small town mechanic they completed the repair. VIP Auto would not honor a 1 year warranty on their work because I had not gotten the repair done with them NEVER MIND THE FACT THAT I COULD NOT DRIVE MY CAR TO THEM BECAUSE I COULD NOT DRIVE THE CAR! They also forgot a magnetized bowl under my car, so I randomly had been driving around with that as well. They did bad work that became dangerous and then wouldnt honor the spirit of the warranty.

Fast friendly service, best price for smog check and oil change starting at 8.99

After my car had been in his shop for 8 months, Jesse and I agreed on a refund plan to get my money back that I paid up front before any work was done. He is late on the agreed upon refund plan and will not return my calls or texts. He is a liar. Do not take your vehicle here. Apparently I will have to sue this business to get my money back. Thanks for being the biggest headache and disappointment from any business that I have ever experienced.

My son took his truck into this shop for a diagnostic. They called him and told him $2000.00. He went down there to see why it was so much, then they knocked the price down to 500.00. He didnt like the games they were playing and just paid for the diagnostic. When he went into the shop to get his truck the mechanic was underneath the truck doing something, when asked what he was doing, they said they were buttoning it up. Here the thing, no permission was given to do anything but a diagnostic. What the hell were they doing? Then, the manager had the nerve to offer to buy the truck. I dont reccomend for anyone to take there vehicle here. This whole experience was way to shady. Also why do have to put a star to post this? They dont deserve the one star. WTH

I was checking in for smog check at 3:45 pm,07/07.The lady at the front desk told me that I have 20 min wait time.I decided to wait.They maked 3-4 smog checks and I ask again whats going on with my car.She told me next car is yours.In 5:20pm my car was still in line.I decided to leave but they didnt want to return my keys.When I tell her I will call to police for my keys she returned it.They lied to me.They only get peoples money and do not care for the people.They do not have water and A/C . The termostatt shows 90 degree.Horrible customer service.

Friendly staff, waited only a short time. Definitely a place to come back to!
