Terrible Service and very unprofessional. Paid $500 to get my headlight repaired and it broke less than a month later. Went back to get it serviced under the 1 year warranty with no help or replacement.UPDATE:This matter has been resolved to my satisfaction

I dropped in for an oil change and was impressed by how accommodating they were. the service was great, the price was right and my oil change was done quickly. tyler was also very helpful. i would recommend this place to anyone for their auto needs. Two thumbs up! 👍 👍

They deceive some customers. when I went there to smok check they said it was failed cos some electric lines are problem. so have to repair it. but I know that it was not problem of it. They were tried to customers to overcharge and fabricate the smok machine, because why?I went to jippy smok check which is another place directly.and was passed for few minutes later.DONT GO HERE ........ I had to listen to others advices.everybody said that they are deceiving people.I will never go there again.

I was waiting across the street to get a smog check at Jiffy smog,but the employer was not on time for work. I got tired of waiting! So I called the shop across the street and I was finally helped. I got a smog check for my work truck. After trying to get a smog check 4 other places I found these guys. They helped me and were very nice. Customer service was awesome. If you need a smog check or other auto service check them out.

This place e is incredible! I went in for an advertised $9.99 smog check and guess what? It cosy $9.99 and I passed! They also did a quick once-over on my car and found nothing wrong! Reliable and trustworthy!

Avoid this shop at all cost. They 100% broke this part on my car, then when I confronted them about it, they lied and cussed me out. Horrible service and super shady.

They basically took advantage of me cause Im a black female who dose not know alot about car after I gave them 1200 dollars for a used battery and alternater my car was still doing the thing Im very upset and cried all night they empty out my transmission fluid just for my engine to go bad and keep me coming back

I went there for a smog check. I took about 15 min or so. Everyone was super nice. I feel for the clerk that was being trained. I could tell a few people were getting impatient. I had to get back to work too, but huffing and puffing is not the way to act. We are all new at sometime on our lives. Way to go new girl and thank you techs for getting me in and out quickly.

They did a fast smog test, but I didnt think it was good to tell me I needed different oil changes when I had just had them done less than 6 months ago.

Bring my car for a change oil. When i got home check my oil theres no oil its dry. Called there and they want me to bring car back check for something. I dont know what the heck...never go back. Best Auto Repair is the BEST! The staff understands at a time of Covid 19 times are tough for many people and having a good running auto can not be more important. The service is always professional whether in person or on the phone. This place almost fried my engine...dropped all my oil didn’t fill it back up. I don’t even think they changed the filter. I was lucky enough to check it same day and brought it to my usual mechanic. I had them do my front brakes as well and they put them on wrong or didn’t notice the front caliper piston leaking... costing me and extra 500 on top of the 300+ I spent to have them do my brakes. Paid them 900 dollars to be in the same boat 2 months later. I even bought the crew pizza... honestly wasn’t going to do a review because of the oil change but when I found out my pistons were leaking... I had to. I don’t recommend this place at all!

These guys were very professional when performed the smog check on my car. Very affordable, $10.00. The only thing that I disagree is that they ask for some of your personal info like name, address, phone number. They also make you sign a paper that allowed them to check your car for additional problems even though you don’t have problems in the car. I think this is the way they make money, they get they’re hands on the vehicle with the smog but if they find something wrong and they can fix it they will offer you the service of fixing it. The waiting room had air conditioning, chairs and was super clean. It also had drinking water, coffee and a vending machine. The service was very quick. Over all super good this place. I would recommend it at least for smog check. I might perform other repairs at this location in the future.

Wont go into every single detail as to WHY they are amazing itd be extensive. But Josh and all the guys at the shop are AMAZING!!! Fixed my leak,replaced compressor to get my AC working again...and changed my filter. Josh went above and beyond to help me out! Thank you so much errbody at the shop! You guys are great!

Wouldnt go back. Test was done, but they just had car sit there (and me wait in the cold) as their follow up was poor. Also, drove my clean car through a large mud puddle as they positioned it for smog test. However, guy in charge stayed polite through our interaction.

The girl in the front tolled me it will take 30 min ended up waiting for 90 min....many of the workers are not wearing face mask or hand gloves.i saw the guy from the smog check yelling at one of the customers.i want for a oil change and they found much more problems in my car that worth more than a $1000 to fixwhen i checked it in anther store....they told me you do not really need to replace these stuff at this timeThey just tried to get you in with the low value for smog and oil change.i will not recommend it...To all......please stay healthy and safe.Note: i have to say it, the manager the guy with a long hair is a good guy.

I have to agree with the other lower rated reviews that people are saying about USA Auto Service. The reason why it looks like this place is highly rated is due to the fact that they do affordable smog checks and oil changes which from my experience with recently working with them, is what’s most important. I took my car here to get my brakes looked at because it was showing error codes after I got my brake pads replaced. It took 4 days of really bad communication (I only got one phone call from them) and I had to do all the calling to get updates on my car. (Mind you, I dropped my car off on a Monday, and they said it would be fixed by the end of the day. 3 days later, my car still isn’t repaired and I took my car out of their possession on Thursday.)I’m trying to figure out what’s taking so long and why they keep having to keep my vehicle overnight during the time they had my car. At one point, their manager Josh told me that they had so many smog checks come in that they had to do those before working on my vehicle. You’re telling me that a $7.77 smog check is more important than a higher priced service? When I took this up with their complaints department they confirmed that smog checks shouldn’t have delayed the service on my vehicle. So why my car was there for that long and why the manager gave me that excuse is suspect.Additionally, it took 4 technicians to attempt to diagnose my vehicle during the 4 days it was at the shop and they kept recommending more parts to be replaced which may or may not have needed to be replaced if they were able to properly diagnose my vehicle to find the main issue. At this point, I lost trust with working with them and I took my car to the dealership because it didn’t appear that they knew what they were doing. The dealership immediately found out the problem and my car was fixed in 1 day. Who knows how many additional days my car would have been at USA Auto Service if I would have let them continue working on it since smog checks are important for them (that’s what all the good reviews say). They gave me a $78 dollar discount due to the inconvenience I had with them which is a joke. Oh and don’t even bother emailing their complaints department. First off, it’s a Gmail account, they don’t even have a professional email domain, so you can already assume how professional the correspondence will be. You will literally just be emailing with them back and forth while they just question you. I suggest that you don’t waste your time here unless you want a cheap smog check and oil change. That’s about the only right thing they apparently do there.

I came to the store and asked for a AC service for my car that was quoted anywhere else for 400 and this people here gave me over 2.000 dollars bills so I did not fix here of course and told them that it was only 400 somewhere else and he offered negotiating and I said no for sure and then they start getting angry cause I was making loud that price difference then next morning I went to downtown to fix the issue for 350 and they asked me 2.000 worst experience ever

I went in today to get a smog Check and the service was excellent. The staff was very inviting. They have great prices for smog, oil changes and repair prices. The service was fast and accurate, I even got some free oil because my my oil levels were low. The technician Josh was wonderful.

My daughter took a car in last year to be worked on. I had paid him half of the money and then paid the other half. He had told me that the car was ready and he needed the rest of the money. Well my daughter went to this place and the car still had problems. I paid him almost $2000.00 and the car still wasnt fixed.My daughter took another car to him and told her what the problem was and she paid him $700 and then he said he needed more money to fixed something else. I would definitely not recommend anybody taking their car to this place. I have never had any mechanic wanting the money up front before working on it. Whatever the problem was they would fix it and then payment would be received. Dont take your vehicle to this guy at this place ☹.

Cant beat the $7.77 smog with coupon. Even though they are busy the get you in quick. Alicia at the front is very friendly. They will inspect your car for repairs. So you will get an estimate for something.

One star was the lowest I could give. However, even that 1 star review was one star too many. I brought my car in April 9th, 2020 for a smog test. As of July 16th, 2020 and 2000 dollars later, my car has not been fixed and the check engine light is still on. I took my car in 17 times and my car has yet to fixed. They had my car for 30 days and not only has it not been fixed, but after telling me they would pay for an actual dealership to diagnose my car, they then stop replying to my calls. Thinking of getting any work done? Try a different place. I wouldnt suggest my worst enemy take their car to USA auto. If you read any reviews. Make it this one and steer clear.

Fast friendly service and no shenanigans!

I went in today for a smog check and was greeted by Sean. He got me signed right away and check on me while a waited for my car. Next, my service tech Chris spoke with me about the results of my smog check for 2004 Acura. It passed but it showed a couple of codes that needed to be addressed. He was very knowledgable and offered suggestions on repairs that my vehicles needed. No pressure sales, he just explained what he saw. I will definitely come back for my future repairs. THIS PLACE ROCKS!

Worst customer service ever!First I took my car on 5/15/20 there for an oil change, once I got there I saw a nice promotion for an all fluids service! I ended up having the all fluids done on my car! I paid 230.00 dollars for thas first part.4 days later I woke up to a car completely out of brake fluids, I decided to take my car back to this place what I now realize was the worst mistake ! Surprisingly my car was presenting problems that never before I have any signs of! I got really mad but agreed to paid the amount of another 750 dollars expecting to get my car back to normal as it used to be! I was told to go back in 4 hours and everything was supposed to be fixed by then!!What a surprise!!! when I got there 4 hours later they will just come out with a different story telling me this time that it was another part that wasnt letting the brakes fluids go through as there were supposed to ( using my own words) so they came with the bad news that they needed to order a part that will cost me 375 extra dollars and they needed me to paid for it in order for them to order it! So I ended up paying a total of 975 dollars that day cause they will let me pay the other 168.00 later when the work was done!Surprisingly that part was never received till 6 days later, then they will have my car in the shop for another 24 hours just to give my car as non functional as I drove it in the las time!Now on my way home I just noticed my car has no brakes at all! They told me on the phone 2 hours ago that my car was fixed and drivable! NOT TRUE AT ALL!

Josh is the man! Those that gave negative reviews did not go to the shop I went to because everything was done perfectly right the 1st time. If there were any changes that needed to be made with the original plan, we talked about options to making it happen to keep me safe on the road. I will always follow this team. Trustworthy, honest and it will not cost you one dime more without telling you.

The positive reviews are fake. They offer free oil change with review BEFORE the service is complete. They take your money and don’t service the vehicle. The “mechanic” claimed he completed the oil change 5 minutes after he got the car. Then he tried to talk me into $300 worth of service but he would generously discount to $99. It felt like a sales call. Don’t waste your money.

They go through a lot of employees, they give you a high estimate then tell you we have financing. How bout being honest ur employees and customers will stay...keep 1 eye open when doing business with this sketchy bunch!

I came this place like 8 month ago because my car was having issues with the AC.First service was good, little pricy but good quality and fast.The issue came when I went to do my smog test came back with a few codes... they made me pay $2700 and after over a week, we ran the test again and more parts had to be replaced... another $500... ($3200) till now... 3 days later another test... 1 code left... a new part had to be replaced $700...basically a Buick 2015 with a bill of $4000 and yet... getting codes and not able to renew my registration.Wonder... how many parts did they really replaced... was the damaged caused intentionally.... and while they are probably unfair questions...WHY DIDNT THEY FOUND ALL THE ISSUES IN THE FIRST REVIEW?

Today we went in because the engine has started to shake there was a soft up sell but no push to get the work done there. My vehicle is still under warranty. They added oil to my car and instructed me to check it in five days. If my car continues to lose oil I should bring it back to the dealer. The staff are friendly. We went there for a free brake check and the mechanic tried his best to explain to us why we need to change our break pads. The finance options are helpful. I wish there was more seats available in the lobby as we had to wait on foot for 30 minutes.

They use the cheap price for smogs and oil change then after that there doing is how manipulate you. Be aware ask if you have work or house or stable almost asking your financial then will negotiate to you. Just dont get smogs or oil changes.

Friendly staff and did a good job with my ac kit. Unfortunately, took it back for my master cylinder they said was leaking and was talked into buying a power brake booster. 4 days later... I get my van back and after a day my brakes dont work. They take it back and 5 days later its fixed but now it has a burning smell...3 days later i notice smoke. I brought my vehicle in with no major issues now Im stuck waiting to be towed to another mechanic who I was referred to with better ratings. Waste of over $600.

I usually go to the location on S Decatur first thing in the mornings but tried this location since its a little closer to me. This location didnt have cups for water or have coffee available. S Decatur has that all day. Time frame for an oil change was pretty quick as they only had a few customers at 8:30 am. They do try to give you all types of diagnosis on your car and observations you dont ask for but thats good that they pay attention.

I came here for an a smog check. I waited one and half hours. When the bill was presented, it was for an oil change and no smog. This was my new 2017 Cruze that I got yesterday. Ot had a Chevy Dealer oil change and they drained my oil and changed my filter using $13.99 quality products. I waited another half hour. They assured me that they put synthetic oil in. I dont believe them. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO USE THIS BUSINESS!

Negative stars if I had the optionCame here hoping to get my car fixed OR SO I THOUGHT...The initial problem was the coolant reservoir had a crack which got replaced spending over $500.After a bit my car started over heating, we thought the fan was not put in properly and since we had a warranty we came back to get it checked out. First time they said there wasn’t any problem, continued on for a bit longer and came back a second time since the car still kept overheating. To no surprise they found nothing wrong. AGAIN, the car still kept overheating so the THIRD time they found a problem. More like caused...The third time they said the thermostat and water pump needed to be changed. They charged $200 for the thermostat and $400 for the water pump. This wasn’t changed the first day like they said, the car spending overnight at the shop. The next day we were told to come in at 11 to no surprise again it wasn’t done like said it would’ve been. The wrong part apparently was brought in and needed another 5 hours to get back. They also would not let us take our old parts back which they should have since it is ours from our car.We brought the car back again this week since it kept overheating which means the parts they said needed to be fixed was NOT the problem. After the car spending 24 hours in the shop for the second time, to flush the coolant reservoir it kept overheating since there could’ve been air in it. Now they want to change parts which will be hundreds of dollars. We now DO NOT TRUST this place as we gave them another chance. They clearly only want money and have no passion to help people.Also I would like to add, when we were telling the ladies at the front desk about the water pump needing to be changed on a 2015 car. One girl was being sort of reasonable but the other was smiling and laughing. Which made me realize they probably mess up your car to get more money out of you! Spending $600 is no joke and laughing while an upset customer is telling you their problems is NOT acceptable.Everytime we called for to check up on the car this week we kept either getting cut off or hung up on.So clearly the parts they fixed DID NOT need to be changed. Just find another place with better reviews and with people who have a passion to help you not just charge you for unnecessary partsPlease do not spend your money here or trust these people. Find a better place, save your $$None of these problems came about until they touched or what they like to say “fix” our car.

I wish I could give this place negative 5 stars! So my boyfriend took our car here before leaving to Alaska, it took these guys two weeks to fix the car and not do everything my boyfriend payed for, on top of that when I called to see if the car was there the lady that wears all black the “Manager” didn’t even know what cars she had in her facility, then when they notice I didn’t have any idea how much my boyfriend payed or what he had payed for they tried charging me more, while they were waiting for a piece for the car the mechanic told me I could take the car then come back but when I went for the car a wire was cut and it was not longer moveable. Finally when I reached my boyfriend and he told me everything he payed for and how much it was, we had to leave it longer so they could do what they didn’t do. 995 dollars so they could only do $700 worth of work and still try to charge me more. Kids are mechanics rude “manager” won’t give you the higher people number no refunds, PLEASE READ REVIEWS before going in.

Single women, this is NOT the shop for you! Unless you are comfortable playing into the new playboy Hispanic Manager. It is absolutely disgusting and patronizing.After having consistent quality service, I was absolutely ripped off when I had my radiator replaced, I trusted this place. Radiators for my SUV should be around $5-600.00 Not the $1220 I was charged. Single women, this is NOT THE PLACE FOR US. There are many other shops that are kind and will not over charge you, tell you your car wont make it to another shop.Seriously. After I left, I noticed the light was not shutting off indicating my sensors were not working properly. When I turned around to let him know.... I was patronized so horribly I was sick. When I got home I called the shop to complain higher up the chain. And was promptly yelled at by the Hispanic manager. Im getting upset all over again. And yes, I will post this every chance I get. The double charge, WILL cost YOU.

Wish I had read some of the reviews of this place before bringing my car here. Owner absolutely ripped me off. Got a free brake inspection then was conned into signing for a ridiculous price for new brake pads. Walked around a bit after already agreeing and a place down the street said they would have done it for half the price. After 45 mins it was done despite having paid for 3 hours of labor. The manager seemed to not understand what the problem with that was and acted as though he couldnt understand me. Definitely will not come back here again and recommend that no one else does either.

This place likes to scam people! Do NOT go here! I went to USA auto to get rear brakes done. While they were doing the rear brakes they said that the parking brake was cracked and should be replaced. Well I got both the brakes and parking brake done. Right after, I heard a grinding/clicking noise coming from the back of the car that continued to get louder. I wasted no time bringing the car right back in only 5 days later on Monday... When I got there they had me drive them around because they didnt hear the sound. After we get back to the shop I spent 4 hours there while they worked on other peoples cars that got there hours after I did. When they started to work on my car they spent 5 minutes under it with a flashlight. They came back out to tell me the manager wanted to talk to me. The manager told me I need to get a new rear differential that was going to cost 1500 ! How did they not see that 5 days ago? While talking to the manager, he offered me to get a credit card to pay them and even went as far as to ask me what my credit was like! I said no thank you not once, not twice, but three times before they gave me my keys back! I was so disappointed that this happened. That same night I went to a different mechanic to get a second opinion and after I told him they just did my brakes he tool the wheel off and noticed that it wasnt properly out back into place and that is what was making the noise! They wanted me to pay 1500$ for something that isnt even broken because they dont know how to put a wheel back on ! And they couldnt even figure it out after I brought it back in.. what a joke of a business.I just want to give an update close to 2 years after I posted this that my car is still in great condition. I have no idea what problem they were trying to tell me it had:

I had a one day fix supposedly paid in advance then they said they would fix it next day well ive been back and forth for the passed five days the get a 4 for me because they have been unprofessional yet professional lol if that makes sense compensated me with a couple services to make up for the dead time

Couldnt understand most of people working there. More interested into talking to each other than customers. Didnt stay for any service.

Awsome, quick smog check

They replaced a fuel pump and fuel module within 2 weeks than a engine light comes on and they claim the car had a vacuum leak and ran bad, charged us $500, the next day the light comes on again and they say it was a fuel hose they broke when doing the tank. No one ever complained about the car running bad, more than likely the hose was the only problem but they charged us $500 for unnecessary work. District manger wont return calls, they have 12 claims at the BBB which they have not resolved and have an F rating. Avoid this dumpster fireThis fake attempt to try and make it right is a lie. The district manager never reached out to me and the owner of the company ignored me after i had a chance to speak my side to him.

Dave is extremely great! My boyfriend & I are really tight on money right now, but were extremely grateful for the tips and the help he was willing to give us! The staff is extremely friendly as well. Will be looking forward to coming back here when we can. :)
