Very abrupt and rude at the self car wash. Ive been going there for a month now and never had a problem. I came to wash my car and was trying to prepare everything I needed to wash my car, and the gentleman then asked me if im washing my car or not after staring at me for a minute and walking over to tell my fiance and me that theres a line and we needed to hurry up. (Even though there wasnt) Ive never experienced that in my life and quite clearly couldnt understand why he approached me and said that after clearly seeing the meter run after swiping my debit card, we ended up going to another self car wash and was treated much better.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! They charged $108 per hour for labor...$820 total for radiator fan and thermostat...then messed up her electronics and/or computer. Blamed it on my daughter, however,I refused to pay. NowThe car is at anotherMechanic where It will get an honestDiagnosis. Plz excuse talk to text. Stay far far away from these crooks!!!

I have say they have been by far the absolute best mechanic I have ever used. I grew up with 2 mechanics so I have learned what a good one is when I see/meet one. They were honest and fair on pricing and did an amazing job and pretty quick too. They did our rack and pinion, power steering pump and pulley and all the lines and the car is drives like dream. We happened to break down the next day blowing a radiator hose, I called they helped with the tow and fixed the car. They are definitely who I will take my cars to for now on. My father in law was so impressed he is going to us them as well. Thank you Dr Auto you all are amazing!!

Took car in to get a smog check. The neanderthal performing the smog check was rude and had an attitude which is to be expected by this type of human being we now all live with. However, my wife and I felt he was way out of line when he pulled his bandanna off and stuck his big oversized head into my car to talk to us. COVID has been in this country for over a year now. There is no excuse for someone not to follow CDC guidelines and show just a little respect for others. I will never go there again.

I will never go there again, trusted this mechanic and the last time dia a very bad job after service on my breaks, he forgotten to tide the bolts and I lost one driving I could not drive the car with no brake shoe. I went to them they toll me bolts fall, I told him not the they you service the car.

I went here to get a alignment. After I left their shop I went and got a second opinion to check out my car because the alignment was still off. The dealership where I bought my car told me that the other place shouldve told me I needed new tires before even doing an alignment. so I went and got new tires. then I took my car back down to Doctor Auto and told them what the dealership told me and they said ok bring the car back down to the shop. needless to say after I left there my car still wasnt right. So I took it to another shop and now my car is better. I highly dont recommend this Auto shop at all and I personally wont be going back there at all. They dont seem to know what they are doing. Especially since I had to pay twice to get my alignment right.

Been with Dr.Auto for about 15 years. Present Toyota Avalon, a prior Avalon and an ancient Ford van. And had a friend from Northern NV who limped in with a dying engine which was changed out by Dr. Auto including working through a weekend to get her on the road...above and beyond the normal.Work has been fine including dealing with weird stuff on the old van.Recommend them highly as doing good work at reasonable, though not cheap, prices.

I would give no stars, but this review does not permit less. I had a Smog performed two days ago (3/24/2019) for a discounted 16 bucks - That was OK, and the Come on! Then my car failed. Of course they had a mechanic available to tell us that $108 would fix the problem. After and more than an Hour of inspection the mechanics diagnose that the first problem to remedy to fix our smog fail, would be to fix the manifold issue - $1700, then well see what else. We expressed that we didnt have the money. We drove off found a mobile mechanic that said we only needed a tune up...$200 complete. When back to the same SMOG at Doctor Auto, reran for our free second smog test, and PASSED. They wondered who did the job, of course we told them. RIP OFF!! Mechanics like these give honest mechanics a bad name. BEWARE!!!( I bet you hoots to hollers, that all the 5 stars on the posts bellow are Dr Autos Buddies, family members and rip off mechanics. BEWARE!

This was a very pleasant experience. Brian worked on my BMW and he immediately knew exactly what to do. Quick diagnosis, rapid repair. If you have a German car, I would bring it to Brian. He is an intelligent, refined, and cultured young man, and obviously a very experienced technician. The customer service from all the guys was excellent, they all communicated very readily. They dropped me off at home, and picked me up when the car was ready. I could not have asked for more. It wasnt cheap, but definitely well worth it. I thank them for their courtesy, and highly recommend this shop to anyone seeking auto repairs.

I brought my Jeep in for a smog, and it broke down right in their parking lot! I knew from previous experience what the problem was, so no diagnostic was necessary, but it needed more extensive repair than I had done before. I knew they would do it right with better parts than I typically use.The staff are courteous and finding someone to trust in this town is hard. I know my way around my Jeep and I can report they dont pull punches with false diagnostics. So far my most recent repair is perfect.Im only one star short for labor prices. They are very busy here, so that may be how the market is, but I cant afford most quotes I get from this shop. Ive been blessed with mechanical know-how so most things I handle on my own. But if its something terribly complicated, I just dont want to deal with, or beyond my expertise, this is the place I go. I was lucky I was here (Ann & Simmons) when I had the issue. I hope some day in the future I can get a break on these staggering labor prices.Respectfully,Nate

Had a very positive experience. They quickly diagnosed possible issues that caused the check engine light and fixed them. I really appreciate that they didnt push for unnecessary repairs.

I took my vehicle in for low idling Monday noon and now answer by Wednesday evening. I took it to a different shop. They fixed the screw up from Dr Auto and fixed the problem in a few hours. When you walk in Leigh is more interested in helping the guy who came in behind you. Never again. Go in for 1 problem and they fine 5 times that amount.

Nick and his team were great. I had my truck towed to Dr Auto for a diagnostic. They had it diagnosed quickly and presented me with some options. Ultimately I decided that the vehicle wasnt worth repairing. Very honest shop, I highly recommend them and will be taking my vehicles to them moving forward.Thanks Dr Nick

You will not be sorry. Called first thing in the morning as my check engine light went on. They had me bring it in for diagnostics and called when they had the results. The part was not to be had until the next morning around nine am. got a call that day around 11:30 and picked it up. The gentleman at the front desk could not have been nicer. I am so sorry I didnt get his name. He even tried to find us a discount without being asked. We knew the price before hand so no sticker shock. We will use them again.

I was visiting family during the holidays 200 miles from home and had a MAJOR problem with my truck. The guys were compassionate and honest. They did a great job repairing my truck so I could get home. Great prices too! AAA approved.

My wife needed new rear brakes and rotors on her Mini. The Dealership would do it for $550...the Doctor did it for $300 (and had a more pleasant customer service persona). Sure, it took longer (six hours), but it was worth the wait.

I was kept aware of progress throughout and even recieved texts with pics of before and after. The shop and office area were clean and employees were happy, which is telling to me. I have been coming to Doctor Auto now for close to 4 years. I am a single lady and I have always been treated with such respect and I never ever feel like I am being taken advantage of. The employees at both locations are so kind and professional. I refer all my friends to them. Doctor Auto is the best auto shop. Give them a try and you will be very satisfied.

We have been taking our cars to Dr. Auto for years. We found out about them because AAA towed our car to them when we needed repairs. They are very trustworthy and excellent mechanics. They have a special card you can buy that gives you many repairs for a cost of $99 - good for a year, and its a great value. Today they told me that with a newer car, and relatively low mileage, you dont need an oil change more than once a year if youre using synthetic oil. You know you can trust a business when they save you money by turning away unneeded services!

Worst place I have ever brought my vehicle. They broke stuff and had my car over a week. It was ridiculous. Nice staff. That gave them 2 stars. And they did fix my car. But overpriced and left my car a mess. All of that black is from them. Filthy. They marked up my other car too but I dont have the pics. Stay away.

Not only is the service expeditious, but in making appointments, doctor auto is surprisingly accommodating! We needed our fuel system cleaned and they were able to get us in on the same day on an appointment made at the last minute. Very dependable!

After going to nearly every mechanic on the west side of town, I ended up at Dr. Auto by coincidence when I had to have my car towed (they are AAA certified). Ive never looked back.They are absolutely professional, clean, honest, and charge a fair price. They will be up front about what repairs they recommend, and let you know how long you can hold off before doing them. They understand that some folks are on a tight budget.Love Dr. Auto!!!

Automotive repair is very technical today, but also mechanical. Todays technicians have to blend both seamlessly. Its not a perfect science, and there are sometimes variables beyond their control. On occasion, one of those variables creates a serious problem to overcome. My wife and I have been satisfied customers, for our two vehicles, about four years, and recently, one of those variables beyond the technicians control resulted in a serious problem...a costly problem. Without any hesitation, the staff explained what happened and how it would be resolved....at no cost to us and very minor inconvenience. Automotive repair is not cheap today, and there is no shortage of shops to choose from. We feel fortunate to have chosen Dr Auto for our repair needs. This recent issue could have easily been a negative experience, but due to the integrity displayed by the Dr Auto staff, it served to reinforce our satisfaction. Reasonably priced service, courteous staff, trained technicians and integrity......coming here for service is a no brainer.

I damaged the engine splash shield on my car yesterday, and ended up at Doctor Auto on Rancho. They removed (and recycled) it for free, refusing to accept any payment. I will be keeping your card and returning to your location as soon as my cars out of warranty. Thank you so much!!

Excellent in all categories. Staff is knowledgable and their customer service skills are top notch in explaining diagnosis, options and more. My experience was above and beyond detailing diagnostic results as well as good old fashioned test drive notes. When an understandable follow up visit was required they stood behind their warranty and got me back on the road at no charge.There may be a wait.. But what can I say other than I would expect as much for quality that they provide. I have been disappointed by other services before but I think it is safe to say I Dr Auto Craig Road location has earned all 5 stars of this review as well as my future business.

0 Stars is my real vote. The mechanic was informed of a tear in our coolant reservoir while working on it. He did not check into this further. About a week later, I checked all fluid levels and discovered that the coolant reservoir with the tear in it was still in place and there was barely any coolant left. We only have one car. We did not want to drive the car very far for fear of damaging the engine, so we went to the closest auto parts store we could find near us. We paid $60 for a new part. My partner replaced it. We contacted Leigh Auimick, the manager of the Las Vegas Doctor Auto facility at least 3 times by email regarding this situation. I finally phoned and spoke politely to Leigh. He became very defensive. He told me that we shouldve pointed the tear out to him, not the mechanic. He also told us we shouldve contacted our local Napa Auto Parts, but there was no guarantee what Napa couldve done for us. Leigh put me on hold. After about 5 minutes, I phoned back and was put on hold again. Leigh came back to the phone. I asked him why I had not heard back from him by email and he said he had not received my emails. He asked me which email address I had and I stated that the one I used was on the business card he had given us. He proceeded to tell me that the business card folks had printed the wrong email address on the card and that they had even spelled his name wrong. (I got the distinct impression that he was lying to cover himself about not answering my emails.). I wouldve been more accepting of this situation had I received a response to my emails, been talked to patiently and politely on the phone and been offered some kind of apology for the work not being done more proficiently. Leigh was actually very rude to me. His customer service was less than satisfactory. I do not recommend this facility for auto repair and I feel that AAA should know about this.

Dropped my truck off because the AAA Mechanic in Barstow who put in the new transmission missed tightening a few bolts and I had problems when i got back to Las Vegas. One of the bolts actually fell out. Took the truck to Doctor Auto per AAA and found them to be very Professional and Friendly. They completely checked out the truck and gave it back to me ready to go. Oh and did I say at No Charge!! They made a few recommendation for some services that will need to be done soon but no pressure or hard sell. I have definitely found my new mechanic.Thanks!!

Excellent. I mentioned that I thought the problem was connected to the water pump and Robert found it immediately. It was the tensioner and belt. This would have been a much more costly repair had he not diagnosed and repaired it right away. Also super fast service.

Wow... Ok so I just dropped it off for a power steering leak and the airbag light was on. I dropped it off they were busy. I just wanted an estimate and they said that there wouldnt be a fee (cool) and they would call me. I replied with ok Ill be waiting on a call! So Im waiting and waiting and waiting, and finally I call and no answer. Theyre closed. I go down there little after 6 everything is closed up. I have to go to work in the morning and my car is locked up in a super shady parking lot with people walking around at all hours of the night (car wash is near by). Im sorry but this is not ok. I just wanted an estimate! They cant just keep a car without calling me. They think they can just keep cars for as long as they like without caring of the customer needs it or not. I grabbed my spare keys and parked it safely at home. I call the next day and to top it off the guy blames me for not telling them I needed it the next day.I just needed an estimate! They should have called me saying they didnt have time is it cool if we keep it? Before he even realised my car wasnt there and that I was upset, he said it couldnt even find a leak. ....seriously? Super shady, would not go ):

I had a Engine in warranty from LKQ, these guys were to install its replacement.. They told me done in a few days, ok... I went there and noticed when the engine was taken out they carelessly left my AC dangling and did not remove it to install new engine. No big deal till you understand the rest.. this is a cheap way to not refill system and do it right... After going to get my car when they said it was done I Notice AC didnt work and wrong Coolant added to Radiator. ( cannot use regular Green... Yellow Ford required ) Then I say I will come get it when they fix the AC, they tell me hours later its the PCM..( Computer ) well OK you guys shorted it out, the only thing wrong was a Valve Rattle, now this?? After 2 days with LKQ saying they are going to send a inspector I drove past and noticed my Mirrors Loose (broken ) on BOTH SIDES!! I am ANAL when it comes to my car I bought New in 2007.. this was enough, I took it home.. I had enough... They forgot 4 bolts, 2 in wrong spot, One Digging into Power Steering Rack, Power steering Bottle Cracked on Bottom from a Poor removal and hid the fact it was cracked on the lower nipple and the AC system they claimed did not hold R-134a because they DID remove the AC later and LOST the O-Rings when they filled it, it leaked.. and they SHORTED the AC Protective Diode.. IT WAS NOT THE PCM.. this place MIGHT be good for a Oil Change if you tell them how to do it, but thats all.. Telling me How Do we know you didnt bring it in here like this... BAHAHAHA, a back yard weekend mechanic was able to figure out they were unskilled for the task.. I will make sure with a HUGE online review on EVERY Review site that this place is NOT the place to take a Car... or a peddle bike for that matter.. I replaced the o-rings, pulled the diode and got the ac working after I vacuumed it and refilled, what armatures.. I guess I got to go to ford, spend $80 on a new Power steering Bottle and tell LKQ to send me the money.. When they first got my car knowing it was under warranty from LKQ they tried to get me to pay them the other $45 per hour on top of the $55 an hour they were getting under warranty... I told them do not touch it until I contact LKQ, they tried to scam me out of $45 an hour x12 hours.... I am not stupid.. LKQ should have pulled it out right there and then, but no.. they agreed to do it for the $55 an hour, but the skill these guys have isnt worth Minimum wage.. P.S. I sent a review to the website run by them, they didnt add it... I guess they want just the Positive Reviews.. UpdateL 7/29/12 Since I first Posted this Review I have found more bolts loose and my Alternator was Loose, the wires were shorting and Arced so bad I needed a new Alternator. LKQ Paid for it... and Bought me a New $130 Power Steering Bottle that Doctor Auto Cracked, After fixing over 12 things they missed I am shocked these guys are in business.• • •
