The store is very helpful, but there customer service messes things up when you call them. WARNING if you call them with a problem, you might get your order canceled. Without even saying you want them canceled.

Honestly very hit or miss at this location. Many employees here dont seem to know how the processes work and seem very clueless about what sames are going on and refuse to even honor ones that are right on front of them physicaly. Recent experiences definitely providing me good reason to start permanently shopping elsewhere

Walked in.... Neither of the 2 associates spoke to me, even after I spoke to them. I walked around the store... Still no can I help you? I found the section I was looking for. Check the items out... Looked at the price differences... Tried to ask a question. IGNORED! A few Caucasian customers walked in... Greeted by the 2 associates... Then a few more Caucasian customers walked in... Guess what? They got greeted too! I left, will not return! Will spend my money where Im treated like someone... Even if its just to get my money. It wont let me give 0 stars!

Good selection, mixed results in the staff. While most are knowledgeable, most are also not very friendly. I understand I was in there right around Christmas and tolerance was likely short for the average retail shopper. I factored that into my overall 4 start review.

This is one of my absolute favorite gamestops. Love the atmosphere. And I cant remember his name but the big guy knows literally everything about games. All employees that I have felt with are nice and helpful.
I was sadly disappointed in the customer service at this location. (if only I knew his name) I recently purchased a headset at the Clearwater location; however, decided to return them and/or swap them out for a different pair. As I was at Largo Mall, I decided to run into Game Stop for the return and/or exchange. While in line, the employee was telling the customer in front of me how he only made a .13 cent raise this past year and if it happens again this year, hes marching to corporate. (completely inappropriate especially seeing how uncomfortable the customer was.) Then he calls me up. I tell him I want to return the head phones, which clearly irritated him. After answering his question, did you buy these from this store, he then goes on a rant of how unfair it is for his store to take the hit for the return when I bought them at a different store. As I did have intentions of potentially swapping them out, his attitude quickly changed my mind. So after hearing how unfair Im treating his store, I asked him, So you cant do the return? He said, yes, but its really not fair to us, it makes no sense, you should return them at the store you bought them at. At that point, I was beyond embarrassed considering the people in line could hear them argument about a return. At that point, I grabbed the receipt and said, thanks for the help, I really appreciate it. He never once realized how rude or inappropriate he was because as I exited the store, I received a HAVE A NICE DAY, SIR... talk about sarcasm to the purest. Regardless, this was a HORRIBLE and embarrassing experience. To the management of this store, I highly doubt this is the 1st time youre hearing this type of story. Good luck, I wont be back and have gladly and will continue to share this experience with others.

Employees here are very cool and answered every question I had. They were knowledgeable and didnt get annoyed by me needing help like some other places Ive been. It is a smaller gamestop, so I wish the variety was a little bigger but thats the only downside here.
Great sales friendly staff and very very helpful
This GameStop is kind, prompt, and has excellent displays related to ongoing gaming events. Such as a Pokemon merch display for the new Pokemon game, and so on. Its also a fairly quiet store so I never feel rushed or overwhelmed by other shoppers. Ive been here several times over the last 5 years.

My son has been playing this one game on his computer for many years and I didn’t have a clue about it besides the name. I owe CODY the biggest THANK YOU ever! What a lifesaver he was and is. I called before I went to the store and he answered the phone and I started telling him about this game. He knew everything about it, what I could get for my 22 year old son as a Birthday gift for that PC game and was so kind enough to take the time to explain everything and even put them to the side with my name on them so I could just come in the store and buy them without any problems. Went there about 5 minutes prior to closing. The employees were attempting to close early. We intended to be in and out quickly. The employees were rude constantly reminding us they were 5 minutes and one even rude said she had another job to be at so hurry up. We left 4 minutes to closing. Watched a customer walk to the door and be stopped before entering. The employee practically scolded the guy saying he better knew what he needed because they were closing soon. I understand the urgency to close on time, but the unprofessionalism was unacceptable.
The guys here are always superb when it comes to friendliness and wanting to help you find the best deals. They are always willing to provide the best help that they can and will sometimes bend over backwards if possible.

I went into GameStop a couple weeks ago to sell some games and consoles. I had a complete PS2 with a controller and the kid behind the counter told me it was absolutely worthless. He told me that if I would meet him outside though he would give me $10 for it. So I figured since it was useless and didnt think he was lying to me I agreed. Turns out the complete system was worth about $90. He completely screwed me and went against company policy in order to do so. I will never go to this Gamestop ever again. I was completely taken advantage of and manipulated.
They’re usually pretty cool, friendly, and knowledgeable but they don’t answer the phone at all. I don’t want to drive 10 minutes just to ask a question about their policies.
The store itself was fine but the guy working was the most obnoxious and cringey dude I have ever encountered. It made me never want to go there again.
Used game prices are still high. There are better, local video game stores that have better prices.

The selection is usually there and never have to worry about stuff being out of stock . I heard Gamestop is going out of business but I wish they could keep a few locations like this one .

Was trying to buy a copy of Wildstar, and the gamestop website said they had it in stock. I submitted a request to reserve the game, which the store conformed via email. They stated it was ready to pick up. I proceeded to drive 35 minutes to the store, and when I arrived they stated another customer had reserved all 5 copies they had and they could not sell me the copy they confirmed would be waiting for me. Astounding. If this is the kind of treatment you offer your customers in an ever increasing electronic distribution model of video game sales, then I will enjoy hearing the news that your company has gone bankrupt.had called before me and reserved
20% credit if you trade towards NBA 2k, call the store she confirmed it yeah yeah come on in and I get there long line, which was surprising cause you would think Amazon would of put them out of business by now, that was the only reason I was there cause Amazon failed but they had the nerve to tell me they will give me 20% extra for my trade ins towards 2k not 20% off 2k. Which came to literally giving me .75 cents for a game they would give me a dollar and the other they would give me 3 dollars like is this place serious?!?!?! what idiot is trading their games in to this place?!?!?! stop shopping at gamestop people they are pathetic I havent been there in years and today I was reminded why

I tried to reserve a xboxonex at this store. It became a case study in why game stop is losing its market share.A clerk, who claimed to have been with the company since before gamestop consumed its Canadian competitor, was a train wreck of social skills. He insisted that he wouldnt trade duplicate games. The joke is that I have been a customer 7 years, and stores in UT, FL, NY, AND TX made exceptions. The system shows that i purchased both games a month earlier in the same game stop, had gamestop prepwned stickers on them, and my wife the other player was present.Im enjoying the best buy 20 percent off new games gamers club now, thanks for motivating me to shop elsewhere! Head over to the gamestop by Costco 20 minutes is worth the better experience.
Ive been going here for several years and this store used to be TERRIBLE.. I gave them a one star rating a couple of years ago.. But theyre great now.. Everyone on their staff is actually pretty darn cool and not complete snobs like they were in the past.. Very friendly people and very helpful.. I did notice however that Gamestop employees will no longer tell you the truth about any particular game.. I guess the people that sit at the Gamestop Round table have determined that its not good for sales.. So, dont expect an honest answer about the quality of any particular game.. Those days when a Gamestop employee would tell you that a game was trash are long gone.. That has nothing to do with this particular store though and this store is great :)

I dont know if BOTH girls working were new but they werent helpful at all. They didnt know their own sales. They said they couldnt fix a price because it was coming up a different price then what it said on the box. Then i didnt even get the game i wanted. It seemed like they needed help.
Ive usually had nothing but good experiences at this GameStop location, but after my last visit I will probably just buy my games online or from another retailer.I preordered the Crash Bandicoot trilogy for PS4, and when calling ahead I was told if I came the night before after 9PM I could get my copy early.So I show up to the store after 9. I was unfamiliar as to where to go to pick up my game, so I attempted to ask one of the employees. I barely got out the first syllable of excuse me when the employee cut me off and barked in a raised voice back of the line!. Instead of making a scene I simply went to the back of the line, where I waited patiently. After reaching the front of the line another employee told me that they hadnt yet begun releasing the game, but to wait around until they did.I finally got my game, but after the rudeness that I encountered I will never return to that location. With the threats of closures that are facing GameStop locations, I would think they would try to keep customers and not drive them away.
