This a childhood spot. I’m very nostalgic of this location in particular However, today I came in and stood at the front counter with my kids for a whopping ten minutes until someone took my order. Two girls were flustered at the drivethru, one hopelessly helping someone with ice cream cakes, and a fourth wasn’t doing anything at all. There’s no way to put this lightly… God bless these girls but they are slow.

First and foremost, just wow, these girls that work here absolutely cannot handle simplistic orders. They read everything back perfectly and brought me a disaster. The milkshake was a MILKshake, it was barely even cold and pouring over the cup leaving my hands sticky. Put whipped cream on it when I requested to have none. They made my husbands milkshake the way I wanted mine. He wanted all the toppings and got none. I got no plastic wares for food. I will go anywhere but here from now on, thanks.

Nothing bad to say about this place. I enjoy my banana split as usual. First time their during the pandemic. You had to order through the drive thru then they would deliver your food to your car.

Very helpful staff just need restrooms

The workers are very kind and try their hardest to keep up with the orders. The drive thru gets super backed up and you know theyre feeling overwhelmed. A little patience towards the employees goes a long way.

I ordered a Orange Julius. It tastes like thinned out, orange sherbet. Yuck!

We get DQ often and it seems to me that I cant remember a time that we were both, my wife and I, completely satisfied with our order! We get the same exact thing everytime we go... Med. Cotton Candy Blizzard for her and Med. Choc. Chip Cookie Dough Blizzard for me.., that neither one of us had a problem! Usually the bottom half is all just vanilla ice cream, or the other big thing is hardly any candy! But I feel $10 for two medium bizzards they should be just about perfect, which I dont expect, but at least consistently close too.Go to any grocery store with $10 youll get 2 half gallons of premium ice cream with some candy in them..

All dairy is very good. Lines are sometimes long.

The drive thru should be closed while that pipe or whatever causes the car under carriage to scrape on it.

This was the first time at this particular DQ but will make it the one we go to for that treat.

Good ice cream, but I could buy 5 gallons of ice cream at a local place, or a kiddy blizzard. Its sadly true.

Its really not their fault, but detroit become an absolute cluster @#$& on hot summer days when the drive through line stretches out and down the street. Lots of lovely independent ice cream options throughout the city, try those!

The drive through moved a little slow but the lady at the window was very nice.

The line was to the street, but they did a great job of taking orders and getting out them.

I ask for a peanut buster parfait with the peanuts just on top not in between. I get home there is not fudge anywhere just vanilla ice cream with peanuts on the top. I was so disappointed. Who wouldnt put the fudge in? I could have just got a vanilla ice cream add nuts.

I love Dairy Queen ice cream! I just dont like the location of the place due to traffic and placing of entrance and exit!

Classic ice cream treats, along with burgers... a wonderful experience. On this visit, we enjoyed banana splits and I had the coffee frappe. Unfortunately, no pictures for this one as the supply was devastated soon after the food was placed in our eager hands!

Even though I live right down the street I only come here in a pinch. Now theyre bringing your food out to you you have to pull up and wait and they are putting the ice creams upside down in the cup unlike the location on center ridge where they are serving you out the window and your ice cream does not have to go upside down in a cup. Ive been at 2 other dairy Queens where they no longer serves ice creams upside down in a cup I dont know why this one is still on old times

So I love the banana split but the Banana Split is way too filling. So I asked the girl if they had a smaller version of the banana split and she said we can just make it like a sundae!!! OMG it was the perfect size and it was amazing!!!! I work in customer service so it is refreshing to see someone who is willing to do whatever it takes to make the guests happy without any push back!!! Its the little things in life that make me happy and that sundae that had all the ingredients of a banana split on it just made my day!!!!

December 20th 10:55pm went through the drive thru to order a small Oreo blizzard, was told they closed at 10:30. Online says they are open till 11pm. Would give 1 star but I was cutting pretty close

The service here was great and is everytime! my kids love coming in for a quick cone on the go or sitting out in the little patio. also the option for snacks and sandwiches is great. overall I love it we come by at least twice a week!

Great ice cream. Good staff. They have some snacks but not the full food menu with tenders like the grill and chill version. Good selection of ice cream cakes. Got a unicorn one.

Employees were nice. I got an ice cream cake for a birthday party. They added her name to it when I arrived. Pretty basic friendly experience. No wait. No complaints.

I got a blizzard. I turned it over my head. It didnt fall out. Thats the key to a blizzard. Id have given them that extra star if they just did it on their own and flipped it over my head. Dang.

The drive thru line doesnt have the needed capacity at times. However, the service is great as well as management. That, and you cant knock an Orange Julius on a summer day.

The kids wanted to go there before swimming at Lakewood Park. The service was great and as you can see, the kids enjoy the treat.

I only ever get the cotton candy blizzard and Im never disappointed.

Service here is pretty quick and Ive never had any issues with my order here, but the drive through is very narrow and is actually quite difficult to maneuver through and probably even harder if you have a larger car. Besides that, ice cream is good!
