Was charged for a phone plan i tried canceling for 4 months after i left the country and i called and emailed and was ignored. A scam

I rented a phone by them in Jerusalem, the next day the phone stopped working. Seems that they only activated it for 1 day. I wasnt local to stop by, nor did they have a location in the area where i stayed. When I returned the phone, I asked the employee he shouldnt charge me, for the days it didnt work, the employee on site told me he has to charge me, and i should reach out to back office about this. I emailed them about the issue, they emailed me back they they decided they will not refund me. In other words Cellular Israel charged me for service, that i did not receive.
