This establishment is remarkable. They operate very smoothly and are very well managed. The entire process from start to finish is hassle free, straight forward, and of high quality. Very honest group of individuals who communicate well and get things done. If you live in the area, give these guys a try. I recommend speaking with John, the general manager. Very honest and professional and keeps his word.Additionally, it should be noted with the current pandemic, that the facility is very clean and inviting. The showroom is open for guests with masks and the furniture setup and spacing abides by the social distancing guidelines. All employees are masked and wearing gloves and are constantly disinfecting the waiting area and front desk.As the daughter of a Colonel, and an Active Duty Military Officer myself, I respect efficiency, integrity, and leadership. This place checks all the boxes. If you are looking for a commendable dealer alternative, give these guys an opportunity.

My tire light came on and I called to see if they could check my tires and what the cost would be because someone had told me they charge for that. Since I work right down the road I gave them a call and spoke with a very nice guy by the name of Darryl. He was very professional and courteous and told me to bring it on in and he would be glad to help me. He asked for my car make and model and said he would be looking for me. In my head I thought yeah right! Before I could get out of my car Darryl was coming out of the door to assist me. He said he would have me on the road shortly and he did what he said. After a very short wait he had pulled my car around to the door and came in and got me and opened the car door for me and also had my AC blowing good and cold for this Texas heat. I have lived in the area almost 9 years and have never used them before but after my experience on Friday they will be my go to. It is hard to find good customer service these days but Darryl is definitely an asset to the Goodyear team. Keep up the good work.

My husband and i just had to get our oils changed, and from the moment we walked in the service was impeccable. Mike got us started, he was friendly,personable and efficient. Explained everything, including costs and detailed what it included. We had constant interaction with Daryl and Laura and the level of customer service was nothing short of outstanding. Both our cars were done quickly.Although we have been to other shops for car services, going forward this will be our go to. I cannot recommend them high enough, and kudos to obviously the management as this behaviour trickles from the top. Outstanding and thankyou again!!!!!

A very pleasant experience with this location, especially, as extended by Laura. Dealing with her from Dallas, TX, and seeking assistance for my son, in San Marcos, would typically be stressful.Laura proved her reputation as established, and shared by a business peer, was no fluke.She went above and beyond, and all my son had to do, was show up.The staff was respectful each time I called and Laura’s service level proved incredibly assuring and sincere.

I got my car aligned and they did a great job. It was very clean and lots of care towards saftey. I was so greatful. Cant find vaccine and Im B1. I absolutely ADORED Laura. I think she heard the concern in my voice when she told me my car needed a diagnostic for the coolant, a new tire, and then whatever the diagnostic was. She and the manager John worked their magic and got the tire on that same day (under my warranty), and managed to have a reasonable price to pay at the end. She was friendly, courteous, and reasonable. I am now not nervous to have to go to this location again. The ONLY reason I am not putting a 5 star is because when I got in my car, there was no sign of sanitation. There was no matas, the steering wheel didn’t have any sort of protection, and I feel like that’s super important during this pandemic.

This place treat u good only if u spend the lots of moneys. I go for Texas inspection and manager michael very rude. My wife and daughter they come for tires and services but no more. I am good customer and you treat me very bad.

I had heard that GoodYear in Kyle was under new management, I needed new tires, alignment and had a noise in the rear of my vehicle, so I tried them again. Stood at counter 15 minutes with no line. Walked outside and around to garage to find staff looking at phone. Bays full of vehicles, no other staff seen or heard. Staff was friendly when she finished her conversation or game possibly. Not my business, but phone was ringing during my entire wait and a customer arrived on duty police officer, as I found attendant, and said no wonder no one answered.

Needed a short notice tire replacement for our Airstream. In and out in 20 minutes with a match to the originally supplied tire. Courteous and responsive service by a very helpful staff. I will be back when due to replace the tow vehicle tires.

Great service...let me explain.Today (Labor Day) at about 2:30 pm we had a tire blow-out (not bought at Goodyear) on I-35 about 9 miles south of Goodyear in Kyle. While I dealt with AAA, thought it might even be something besides a tire, my wife called Goodyear to see if they were open, which they were. She talked to Laura who said just bring it in...and if they cant fix it, but can see the issue (transmission, etc.), there will be no charge.Laura also said not to worry if we cant be there by closing (4 pm), just call by about 3:30 and let them know what is going on. At about 3:30, with the AAA tow nearby but not to our car yet, my wife called Goodyear again.Get this...Laura said they would keep the shop open, and told my wife not to worry. Now you have to understand weve used Goodyear at Kyle before but only occasionally....we are not family, friends or have we been long term customers.When I got to Goodyear, right at closing, Martin took care of us without even mentioning the 4 pm closing time. In fact to him it was all about solving our problem....the blown tire. Which they stayed to put on our car (in fact we bought a set of 4 Goodyear Eagle Sports that were on sale).All I can say is this...honestly, I didnt expect such great service from Goodyear. Expected the well we close at 4pm, or, leave the car and well call you in the morning.Just one experience...but somehow I suspect its the norm for this Goodyear-Kyle team.

Not only is talking to this locations manager equivalent to having a conversation with a rock, he is extremely rude. Perhaps next time you want to talk down on customers needing a STATE REQUIRED inspection service, make sure theyre not in the restroom listening to every word being said. So sorry to have sabotaged your dollars per car. Unbelievably disrespectful to say the least!

Highly recommend the Goodyear in Kyle. We’ve bought a couple sets of tires from there and always get prompt service. They are also very helpful if I need some quick air in my tires (so much easier to get help with this when you have young kids!) Recently got a major flat tire while running errands. They were so helpful! Extremely respectful, timely, and transparent with pricing.

They advertise state inspections but forget to mention that they dont do them on the weekend.

My experiences are always ways to accommodate my needs. They help me from my biggest mechanical issues to the smallest. Ive been coming to this location for over 3 years for my regular oil change and other things Ive needed checked. Great customer service form both receptionists and mechanics is NOT common. Great job, and great staff.

They are in over their heads. Even with an appointment, about 1 hour wait will turn into 2 plus hours. DO NOT go here if you want your time valued at all. They stopped in the middle of my service to help someone who came in AFTER me. I asked what was taking so long, and they were at least honest about prioritizing a newer customer over me.

Brought in a car for a power steering leak. Ended up spending 3000 dollars in repairs. The check engine light started coming on which it never did before the repairs. Two power steering pumps later the check engine light is still on and now the lights are flickering. Manager has been nice about it but Im concerned that were gonna have to cough up more money before it works right again. Are we being taken for a ride? I will have to take it to the dealership to get a second opinion. Very concerned customer. Mind you. We came in for a power steering leak originally. 3000 dollars later.

I had a screw in one of my tires (bah!) I was helped right when I entered. Tire got fixed & they checked the pressure in my other tires without even having to ask! Easy peasy - Ill definitely go back :)

I’ve moved from Kyle to San Marcos and now New Braunfels and this is still my go to shop. They’re on point with customer service, I never feel pressured into buying anything they just recommend what’s best for my car to keep it running like a champ. I always seem to run into Laura, but Stephanie and Jason are both very nice as well! I feel like my car last longer and runs better between oil changes, had to get it changed once while I was out of state and a month later I needed another one. I love it knowing I can just come in and trust that I’m being taking good care of, both me and my car.

These guys were great at getting my car fixed the same day I brought it in. They kept me informed through the process, and then helped me out with a deal. I will definitely be going back in the near future and recommend them to anyone who needs parts replaced or general maintenance on there car.

Took my poor car in late on a Monday. they squeezed me in but ended up needing to keep it over night since it was in worse shape then I hoped. They were incredibly accommodating and got me a ride home. Came back the next day and they got all the parts we needed to get it going before I had to leave for work at 4. Very friendly staff and the price wasnt ridiculous either.

Bought 4 tires online and schedule them to be installed on a Saturday, 5 days after I purchased. Good year confirmed this appointment and informed me tires would be there a day ahead of time. They were not. When I showed up, they did not have my appointment in the system. The online system and the stores systems do not talk to each other I was told. Normally, I am easy going but they also are extremely understaffed and have one lady at the front desk working. She was late that day so no one was helped until she got in. I would recommend going right down the street to Discount Tire. They go above and beyond.

Yikes. Well, while I didnt have a horrific experience, it wasnt the best. I must preface this review by saying isnt my usual company for an oil change. But I went anyway and I began to feel uneasy. The female associate said they were too busy (?) so I made an appointment for the next day. There apparently werent many times open for the next day either (??). The next day I just so happened to ask for verification of the price before the oil change. It was more than the coupon for an additional .5 gal of oil. She was quite matter of fact and did not try in the slightest to accommodate. A very kind of dont let the door hit ya in the butt on the way out attitude. So...heres the thing, I know the nature of the business. More quarts means more money. I get it. Additionally, I appreciateService workers because they deal with rude people all day. But her attitude and perceived unwillingness to help was so off-puting both days that I went in. Im African American and didnt have a big order, aka, not a big spender. I hate to suggest those factors may have had something to do with it but I think they may have. I can only hope not. My lesson is stick to the rivers and the lakes that youre used to.

He was appalled to find out that the competitors staff didnt offer to put my spare on since they were so busy and understaffed that they couldnt help me til 5pm. I made a mistake coming here for an oil and air filter change. Scheduled an appointment for 9:00a, so I arrived at 8:45a. My car remained in the parking lot and was not even pulled to the back until 9:45a. Then, the service was not completed until 11:00a. I spent 2 hours 15 mins here for something that usually only takes 20 minutes at the Valvoline 5 minutes down the road. I looked into the garage and saw a lot of cars sitting in the bay but not much activity going on. What are they even doing? I am so sorry for choosing this place.

Very bad experience would not recommend to anyone. Have never had a problem with any Goodyear for over 5 years now until Kyle TX. Rude person at the front named Sean. Poor service and attitude. My manager had the mobile service come to our work to have her tires installed. I live in the same zipcode as our work. I scheduled for the mobile service to come to my house because I didnt have time to sit in a shop for an hour waiting on my flat tire to be replaced. 20 mins after they were scheduled to be at my house I decided to call, since there was no word from them. Then I was told a lie, I was told well we dont have the mobile service for your zip code. At this point I was done. So now I have to wait 3-5 business days for a refund. So if they in fact didnt have the mobile service in my area then why was I able to schedule for the mobile service to come to my house to install a tire because that is also what I paid more for. I will never consider using Goodyear ever again nor will I ever purchase their brand of tires.

It does not matter what you need your car serviced for this Goodyear is excellent. I got an oil change and new tires for my Mazda CX-5 by Sean Guerrero who is the nicest guy and very professional. So happy with this Goodyear it’s worth the drive, you won’t regret it. Thank you Sean Goodyear could not have a better manager!! Great costumer service and prices too!! I was very impressed by Good Year at Kyle today. I came in needing a tire change and told them I wanted to get it done quickly so I could make it to my church service on time and they rushed to help me make my deadline. They changed my tire and pumped up my other tires and had me out of there in 12 minutes! I was very impressed. They were a true blessing to my day. Thanks guys!

Goodyear tires are better (75k mile warranty compared to 40k Discount Tire offers and the tires here have much higher rating, along with known name brand). Store Managers, Laura and Jason are the best!! Jason is very polite, progressional, knowledgeable and runs a great shop, but Laura is without a doubt the VERY BEST! Update 5.2015.I have decided not to go back. After several screw ups, and their constant employee turnover, I no longer have any confidence in the shop. I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt since they opened, but I have had enough. After the last screw up, I called and complained. Chris, the latest manager in a line of managers, didnt really seem to care. There are enough shops around Kyle now that you dont have to settle for their bad business.Keep your car safe, prevent them from causing you to lose time and money. They screw up too much here. They are either doing it on purpose to cost you more money, or they are completely incompetent. In either case, you are better going somewhere else.

Do not go here. Been twice during two different times of the year and they were out of inspection stickers. If you dont want to do inspections, just dont say you offer them. Firestone is a MUCH better facility and services are done much better.

This is a good place to come for oil changes. My one complaint would be poor communication and sluggish response times at the front desk, but their quick lube prices are extremely reasonable, they are honest and helpful, and the building is clean and safe. They also always have coffee ready! I actually dont recommend the coffee, its cheap and usually old, but if youre not particular about flavor, its super convenient. My oil changes and inspections are always done well, if not super quickly. The people are friendly. One guy left my oil stick out once, and flagged me down before I drove off to replace it - I really appreciate that! I know mechanics forget to put little parts back or leave their own tools inside engines sometimes, and Im really happy the technician had enough integrity and memory to fix the problem rather than try to cover it up. Im satisfied with them overall, and I never go anywhere else for my oil changes.

Ive been going to Jason and Laura for nearly 10 years. Their knowledge and service are always on point, and their mechanics are great and trustworthy. I would never trust anyone else with my car.

I just wanted so say thanks to Laura for the excellent customer service. I went in for a brake check thinking I needed brakes. Laura got me in quickly and informed me that my brakes were still in good shape. I did a few maintenance things Laura suggested and will be recomending this Goodyear to all my freinds and family.

Worst customer service ever!! Walked into this location was told I would be right with you. Waited for a little over 5 minutes to ask if I could get a state inspection. The man at the front said sorry we stop doing those at 4. The time was 3:55, after I had a few questions of why I could not be taken in the manager Sean got involved (time now 4:00). The guy was unprofessional and inappropriate in his demeanor. The attitude I was given was reciprocated so after a small argument my conclusion is discount will always have my tire business and Christian Brothers Automotive will have all mechanical business that cannot be handled myself. Thanks for nothing Goodyear keep it classy

We bought an alignment for my truck over a year ago and at the time paid for the 3 year alignment package. This means I can bring my truck in and get an alignment a day if I want for free. We have used it probably 5 times. Each time they have tried to tell me that parts that my husband already replaced needed to be replaced. This last time they flat out said they just couldnt align it unless we paid them to do over $600 of work. The parts they said were bad had been replaced in the last year. My husband is a mechanic and the only reason we go there for the alignments is that we PAID for the package and it saves him time. I will not be returning. Im done with this store. After reading the reviews here on Google I see this is not a one time incident. Beware of going here.

Great staff service and was open on Sunday so thats very convenient. They did put on the wrong tire on my car but once I brought that to their attn, they were able to get my issue taken care of at another location, and were sincere on their apology.

I have been here on several occasions because I live right down the street. I have had GREAT experiences with this location up until this March. I dont know if they have recently had new management but the quality of service has gone down. They dont make appointments to do state inspections even though the wait times for those inspections can be as much as several hours. They told me to come back at a later time. And they dont have inspections on weekends-which is a convenient time for a lot working people. When I came in a few months ago, they were much nicer and made me care as if they wanted my business.

Tried charging me for something that wasnt needed. Can tell they are hurting for business and probably why they do it. This is why there was no wait and empty. Manager was very rude and unprofessional. How Goodyear has someone like this representing one of their stores, I have no idea. I would NEVER recommend this Goodyear to anyone. I will be sticking to discount tire for tires or Sams Club. I have never had a problem with Goodyear until I moved to Kyle and visited this location. The horrible customer service and attitude make me want to avoid Goodyear at all costs in the future and will be telling all family friends the same. Have no idea how some of those employees have jobs dealing with people.

I had to spend 10 YEARS of my life leaning to become something im not, YOU GOODYEAR AUTO SERVICES CAN AT LEAST PROVIDE A DISCOUNT ON YOUR WHEELS FOR PEOPLE LIKE ME!?

Always had a pretty okay experience here! plan on dropping your car off because they tend to take a while, but they always take good care of my wife and Is car!

They are always busy so service is a bit slow, about an hour for oil change, but service is great and their recommendations are appreciated. Never any pressure. I have tried a few other places and this is my preferred.

Well I got there about 9:15 am for an inspection and was told that I was 4th in line. They later explained that I was 4th in line after all their other customers that came in after me were serviced. Finally about 11:30 am they got to me. At least 15 people came and went and I still had not had my inspection. When they did my inspection I was told that the Serpentine Belt would not pass, it had cracks. The state says that cracks in the Serpentine Belt will not fail an inspection. So I tell them that I have a new belt in my tool box and I will install it. They tell me that if I install it that they will not perform (finish) the inspection today. I already had a belt so I was not about to pay for another belt. They made me pay for the inspection that I did not get. When I got my paperwork I found that they had also put on it that my windshield wipers would not pass. I had put on new blades earlier that morning and I guess that they want to sell blades. They put this on the DPS inspection statement so I would have trouble getting it inspected anywhere else. They were trying to scam me and cost me money needlessly. I took it to another inspection place and they read the Goodyear report online and I told them what Goodyear had said and done. They never told me that the windshield wipers would not pass it just showed up on the DPS paperwork. The new place looked at the windshield wipers and the Serpentine Belt and said there is nothing wrong with the windshield wipers and that cracks in the Serpentine Belt will not stop an inspection. I would not and will not ever use this Goodyear again. I hope no one else does either, they are scam artists deluxe. I plan on reporting them to the DPS for scamming people.
