Plain and simple, I have never let anyone else work on my cars.I have known Brian for years, he knows engines like no other person I know. I smoked the engine in my ford truck, he sourced me another one, went through it and installed it built it back into my truck using my existing parts. I have over 100,000 miles on it, and have not had any issues. The difference between Brian and the other guys, is he loves it. He finds things others miss, and will take the time to repair things others term as no big deal. You will never know he did it unless you ask.I am about to drag another vehicle down there to him, so he can work his magic. I will say it again, if I cant do the work myself, there is only one shop I will take it to. I did not mention, I live in Leander. So the inconvenience of the distance is worth the quality of work. Yes, he is that good. Trust and honesty is hard to come by today. it is the rule not the exception at Kyle Automotive.

I came in with car issues close to closing time. They did not complain about it one bit and immediately started diagnosing the issues. Their prices are fair and the customer service is second to none. Thankful I found this shop!

Im not one who writes reviews but the community needs to know about this great place. I shopped around for a few days to get quotes (from $990- $1440) on the clutch that went bad on my Toyota. Every shop told me it was a 7 hour job. I took the most affordable quote from Kyle Automotive Service Center.I was pleased when the shop called 4 hours later to tell me it was fixed. I picked up my Toyota and was surprised to find out it was cheaper than he originally quoted me because he got the job done sooner than expected. I was also excited to find out that the shop replaced the clutch, timing belt, and oil all under the original $990 quote.He commented that he knew I was leaving town for the holidays and wanted me safe on the road. I couldnt be more pleased with the service and care I received from this shop. Thanks again Kyle Automotive Service Center! You have a new loyal customer

They do great work here, and theyre reasonably priced. As well they give great customer service, they explain in language you can understand. And if you have a Mustang, absolutely bring it here.

An extraordinary customer experience is always worth 4 stars to me, but I generally reserve that 5th star for those who truly go above and beyond. And while great work says great things about a company, the personal interaction and communication really emphasizes what a company strives to achieve. I have found Brian Fennell to be friendly, patient and courteous, qualities you want in a mechanic. Yesterday I came by with an electrical problem - my Jeep Cherokee door windows would only work intermittently. Brian traced the problem in less than 20 minutes (something that would have taken me 4 hours). Hes got excellent trouble shooting skills and you can tell he loves what he does.I was grateful for the work he did and had to force him to take a payment from me! Again it would have taken me 4 hours (if I found the problem at all), so his skill was truly worthwhile. I feel that Brian and crew are conscientious, love what they do, and will make recommendations to you based on considering your needs and budget with your car; and whatever they do they are going to do it well.I need to fully disclose, I do know Brian from a professional organization. But I believe Brian would extend the same quality of service to anyone.

I had car trouble while on the interstate and had my car towed to Kyle automotive. it was the best choice I could have made. they diagnosed the problem, the alternator, and were able to order the part and make the repair the same day. the cost was reasonable and I could not recommend them more highly.

Honest Above and Beyond.The first time I took my car in, the repair took all of five minutes, and when I asked how much, I was told No Charge - didnt take much time. My daughter took her car in for a very costly part. They could have simply replaced it, and charged her. They didnt. They called her and told her that the part was probably still under factory warranty. It was - again Kyle Automotive didnt take a dime. I just had my car towed in with a dead battery that the tow truck driver had said might be defective. Kyle Automotive could have declined the faulty diagnosis and put a new one in at a cost to me - and Id have not known the difference. They didnt. They found it faulty and put a new one in at no charge. The rest of the work they did for me was all more than reasonably priced - and they even took steps to get the car back to me because by the time the repairs were complete, I didnt have anyone to drive me to pick it up. If that isnt enough, know that their office manager, Christi, is warm, friendly and a joy to do business with. She keeps her promises. If I gave this business less then five stars, Id be lying. Id like to give them ten. You can take your vehicle to them with confidence.
