Purchasing our new travel trailer was a pleasant experience. Our salesman was knowledgeable and attentive, but not harassing. We brought our own financing and had no issues at closing. (If you do bring your own financing and are interested in extended warranties, ask ahead of time about including that in your total) The service dept is great, but due to staffing issues, just like the rest of the world, sometimes it takes awhile. But they have helped me twice on spur of the moment issues, including my own user error.Would recommend!

Today I went to look for a camper for the first time in my life. I was lucky enough to be helped by Josh Spears. He did an outstanding job of showing me three different small campers and all of their accessories and how everything works from the battery to the hook up to the propane gas to the outdoor showers, ect. I fell in love with the Little Guy camper for all of its features and most especially for the high ceiling and the huge windows that open fully from all sides allowing maximum fresh air flow. Josh was welcoming, fun, no pressure, informative, knowledgeable and overall made it a fantastic experience for me. He did not act like your typical salesperson and was genuinely a really great guy. This is the second camper that i have owned. The first experience at another “world” vendor was less than desirable. In February of this year I purchased from Buddy Gregg. A few weeks ago we were headed to Colorado. The night before we were to leave we discovered that the lights on the tow vehicle would not work. We had to delay our early start time to see if someone could look at it. I called BG the minute they opened. They very quickly said to come by and they would work us in!!! We got there around noon and left later that afternoon. i have never had someone drop what they were doing and fit me in so that i could continue on my trip! AMAZING customer service!!!!

What a lovely buying experience we had with Dale at Buddy Gregg. We had some familiarity with campers and had an idea of what we wanted but needed to see the options. Dale took the time to show us all of our options, and then revisit and narrow down what we liked in order to make a good decision. He was thorough and knowledgeable and gave us time to make our own decision. I would definitely recommend buddy Gregg - and further, talk to Dale! You won’t be disappointed.

The salesman we worked with would get 2 stars, but the reason for the 5 is the Service Department who were fantastic to work with. Brian went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with our purchase, his work ethic is second to none. Jerald, our technician was also fantastic to work with. Even though we had some bumps with the sales department, the folks in the service department more than made up for it!

Two days after purchasing RV entered in to find water everywhere. Turned all water off and contacted Buddy Gregg out of Knoxville. Two weeks later they finally send someone out who finds refrigerator water line had never been put on. This obviously ruined all the wood around said refrigerator. Parts were ordered to fix. Never heard anything until we called a month later and was informed parts had arrived damaged and were reordered. Another month passes without any communication. Called and spoke with manager, of whom was an arrogant condescending gentleman. Waited over three more weeks, once again WE had to make contact. Was informed parts had come in and they made appointment to come out two weeks later. Took off work and waited all day for techs to show up. Received NO communication all day, even after attempting calls until after 5 pm when we were informed they would not be coming, days wages lost. That was 5 days ago and have yet to receive a call explaining anything.I would tell anyone BUYER BEWARE!!! All customer service leaves when you leave the lot. This is a horrible establishment with terrible Management.

We purchased a 2021 Landmark Daytona in July 2021. From the sales department (Kristin, Josh, and John) to the service department (Brian).. our experience has been wonderful!! They are genuinely great people and want you to be happy. They will go above and beyond! They answered our calls after hours and helped us when they didn’t have to! My wife and I purchased a new travel trailer from Buddy Greg today. The whole experience was amazing, from the time we arrived to the time we left each person we saw made sure we had everything we needed. The best part of our whole experience was James, the tech who did our walk through and helped us set up our equalizer hitch. He spent well over an hour going through each item on the new camper with us from the simplest light switch to the more complicated set up items. He made sure we were comfortable being able to set it up and pack it away before we left. He was very knowledgeable about our model and shared some great campgrounds with us. He quickly dialed in in our weight distribution hitch and taught me how to use it. After visiting the “other guys” before coming to buddy greg, I can truly say they do not compare in any way, I would highly recommend shopping here verses the competition.

Prompt on their service.Always answer their phone and communicate well. We have a 2020 Redwood 3901WB.We had a pretty good list and they got it done quickly, with the exception of one small thing, they are waiting on warranty approval.Much better than others we have used.

I’m reviewing on behalf of my parents. Had a great experience looking at campers but it went downhill from there. When meeting with the sales department they were told they could place a deposit on a camper to hold it while waiting on financing and to make their final decision. Financing was approved but they decided to wait and informed the sales representative to let them know they changed their mind. They were told their large deposit would not be returned. They were not told this would be the case before they placed the deposit on the camper. Had they known that, they would have simply applied for financing and not made the deposit to make it as a “sales pending” camper. Bad service from sales in not explaining this.

We would like to thank Dale Pope and the staff at Buddy Gregg for helping us locate and purchase our intermittent retirement home. (2021 42 Landmark Newport 5th Wheel) Having searched the US over for the perfect option, we found ourselves going back to Buddy Gregg as this process is incredibly involved when you are looking for something that suits you personally. They made the experience stress-less in comparison to the many RV sales locations we interacted with and we literally looked at upward of a 100+. We traveled 2600 miles for our purchase and were welcomed warmly, made comfortable and treated like family.An ideal arrangement they have is the option to stay in an RV park they have set up right there to experience your purchase, having access to help in the form of questions on operating the unit to fixing any repairs that may be needed. We are first time buyers for an RV. The salesmen were not pushy, Jim walked us through several units while we told him why we were buying an RV. He showed us the perfect one and we bought it. The gentleman that walked us through on how to operate the unit was nice and took time to answer all our questions. There were a couple of questions that he had to get an answer for from someone else. We went into the parts store and got so much more information from Derrick and Robin, they were awesome. They were asking us if we had certain (important) items that we will need for the RV, items that we should have been told about during our walk through. They happened to mention toilet paper and my husband & I had to ask why and they both explained the reason for the special toilet paper. Derrick and Robin took the time to tell us so much more about our new RV. We walk through the store and made a list of items we would need to purchase. They were great in answering so many more questions that we had. We also had a great experience with Kris the finance lady. Everyone at Buddy Gregg RV was great. Thank you to all.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We worked with Josh, who was really good about responding to communication. A couple of hiccups regarding delivery dates, but not a big deal. Haven’t worked with service department yet but hope the experience there is good as well.

The service department did a wonderful job. I needed 2 separate visits for 2 different issues and both visits were great. Jessica Sink was easy to work with. She communicated with me about the work on a timely manner and also let me know the status of the job. She was tremendously helpful and professional and I would give her 10 stars. The work was done correctly and Kenneth was the technician that did the work. I have had no problems with the work and he was excellent in helping me understand what he did as it was a new inverter. The overall experience was great and I would recommend the service department to anyone.

A lot of extra help when adding new hitch to new truck and hook up to my new camper. Ben Davidson gives excellent customer service. Ask for Ben to help you with the many choices.

It was our first time at Buddy Greggs and they didnt disappoint! Even though they were busy, Brad kept us informed and we were allowed to stay on site with electric and water hook-ups (very convenient because we live in our RV) Cody addressed all our concerns and did our yearly warranty check off perfectly. We were there for 3 nights and received exceptional customer service....we will gladly drive from Ohio yearly for service with Brad and his fantastic team!!! I had warranty work with a $250 deductible. I went to pick up my RV and was presented with a $2850 bill. I was told the warranty didn’t cover several items that had to be replaced. Didn’t cover shipping of parts, taxes, part of the labor. I started reading off the warranty contract on what was covered and the office manager wanted to argue over what was spelled out in black and white. He finally took off $250 and I had to pay the rest to get my RV returned. Very unprofessional. I’m sure they billed the warranty company a huge amount the same way I was done. Take your RV anywhere else but here.

Two days in to our cross-county trip our 2021 Grand Design Solitude RV broke down. Thank goodness we were only four miles away from Buddy Gregg RV in Tennessee. It was almost 4:30 by the time we got there Saturday but they were very accommodating and allowed us to stay on site at their facility with electric and water hook up. It took Grand Design ten days to get the correct parts shipped to us and Bill the mechanic was able to squeeze us in and get us back on the road. We never made it to California because of the breakdown but we were lucky enough that we had the employees of Buddy Gregg to help us navigate this nightmare. A huge Thank you to Brad and Bill for treating us with such kindness.

We are from out of state and they took time to order our part and fit us in in a timely manner to help us get our camper on the road. Very friendly and we will refer them to friends.

Buddy Gregg rv is an awesome dealership. My salesman josh was on point with providing details and pictures being I was out of town. Upon arrival, I had no issues with getting to my campsite for an overnight stay before the deal. Josh told me what to expect, with someone coming to meet me to take my trailer for trade appraisal. That’s when we met Sean. Sean, went over my old trailer and allowed me to show him what I knew about it before just taking it away. We waited for a few minutes and then was brought to see the new trailer. Sean was there to do a walk through and make sure of any flaws we didn’t like would be taking care of. We then met Chris and did the paperwork. He was very informative on different options we had with warranty. After signing the paperwork, we had to wait a few minutes for them to adjust the hitch and they offered us lunch while we waited. Dale took us back to the trailer and both were side by side so we could move things over. Sean was there to show us the flaws he fixed and got us hooked up. As we were leaving, they gave us a 50 dollar gift card to parts. My wife met robin there and said she was awesome to deal with. Buddy Gregg has top notch employees and that makes them a top notch dealer.

This is a return visit since my initial one produced such great results.I’ve had the pleasure of working with Brad (Service writer) and Desmond (Technician) on both visits. Brad is very personable and is well versed in RV repair, servicing, and installations. I have purchased a few new camper over the years and have been pleased with the people and process. But I really needed to say, in the way service is defined in this country today, the people at Buddy Gregg did not get the memo to change! What a breathe of fresh air! I felt relaxed and could trust them, from negotiating (Thank you Dale Beach) to paperwork (Thank you Sandy for the 13cents!) to service (HUGE shout for Jerald M). Even knowing Ive been camping for 30 years, he still reviewed how everything worked and location on this unit. We found 1 thing that needed to be tweaked and he jumped on it right away. There were a couple of smudges and he had someone from detail right out and showed him like it was his! WHAT! You mean there are still people out there who care! Its rare today to still see this type of attention and teamwork. Koodoes to management for building. I wouldnt change a thing, and I WILL be back for service! Even though there are many places closer.

Was Very satisfied with the service from the parts personnel that helped me with acquiring the part I needed to repair my coach. He even called me back to tell me he did some checking on the part number I gave him and found that there were two items in stock! I was able to purchase the part and return to make the necessary repairs so I could continue on my trip! 👍

Derrick and Robin were super helpful in getting the part we needed to fix our camper toilet. My husband called and they allowed him to send a picture to make sure we got the correct part. When I arrived, the part was waiting on me and both employees were courteous and even offered a few simple instructions to replace the part. Excellent customer service.

Called Buddy Gregg about a radiator issue. This was my first contact ever with Buddy Gregg. Kevin in parts did a great job to identify the correct part and give me a timeline for the parts delivery. Jessica in scheduling got us scheduled for service the day after the parts arrival. Kenneth in service jumped on it and completed the job on time. Great service at Buddy Greg RV Sales & Service. We lost a wiper assembly driving thru a storm from CA to Tennessee. Sheila in the parts department was able to find 2 new Newmar wiper assemblies and blades shipped to Knoxville within 48 hours! We were able to get them installed quickly. We left Buddy Greg for Pigeon Forge, as soon as we go there… the motor for the power steps stopped working! We called Buddy Greg’s back. Back to Knoxville! Derrick was able to get our step motor and even though they were closing, they stayed open for us to get back to pick it up. Sheila and Derrick were both so professional and courteous. They located our parts. Answered all of our questions and gave numbers and info we asked for. They called back when out call dropped. Called to notify the part had arrived. Top notch service. They had a cute little private waiting guest house with AC, cable TV, coffee, work space and a very comfy place to wait while the wiper assemblies were installed. My husband was able to install the motor that Derrick located. We picked it up late and need to get back on the road. Our little dog was even welcomed. Buddy Greg RV and Sheila & Derrick saved us this trip! I highly recommend them. And if you need to call parts… as for Sheila or Derrick!

I sold my RV here. After the sale, there was an issue with Buddy Gregg retrieving the title from a different state. I was left a voicemail about contacting that DMV.Within 24 hours of that voicemail, someone called the DMV that was holding the title impersonating me in an attempt to acquire the title. Information that was only available to myself and Buddy Gregg employees was used during the call. The impersonation was poor, and the DMV put a hard hold on any transactions associated with my name.The result: it took several extra weeks, and I had to travel to a different state in order to retrieve the title. This cost me a few hundred dollars and about 30 hours of active work on my part to resolve.

Derrick was extremely helpful in answering my questions and finding an [inexpensive!] solution to the problem. This is now my RV parts dealer. Extremely pleased!

Very nice experience. The seeks group let me look at the rv at my pace and explore all the different sizes and styles. The salesman was very polite and was very informed about the product. We had an excellent experience with Buddy Gregg RV. After shopping in our home state, we found the same camper for a significantly lower price. I had a lot of questions before we made our trip concerning our of state purchase; the staff was more than happy to answer every question. Some of our documents had to be sent overnight but those were handled with ease as well. Both John and Dieter were fantastic and very helpful. Our purchase was completed after we were back in Alabama and Dieter even took time to go to their onsite store to pickup things for us using the gift card that came with our purchase since we were not there to shop for ourselves. Overall an excellent experience. We would recommend them to all our family and friends.

What a great experience working with this business. Our salesman Jim did a fabulous job finding us the perfect 5th wheel and the service department is just as great to work with. Shortly after purchasing our RV we had an issue with the hydraulics. The service manager, Brian worked with us on the phone and texting throughout the day trying to resolve the issue. After not being able to resolve it, one of the techs, Jerald and Brian came to our campsite, after business hours, and assisted us resolving the problem. We were traveling to Ohio to race when we had a problem with our rear air bag on on our American Eagle. I contacted Brad Palte in service, explained our situation to him. He told me to bring it on in. We transferred what we need to take with us to the races out of the coach and put in the dollies and headed to Ohio. He asked me to call him on Wednesday and he would update me. I called him on Wednesday and he said my coach was ready.Desmond my Tech was able to flip the air bags back In place with no damage. Great job by Brad and Desmond. I will be giving a shout out about you folks and will be back... Thanks Brad and Desmond.

I visited Buddy Gregg RV yesterday to locate a replacement CO/Propane Detector for my Tiffin Allegro Bus. I met with Derrick in the Parts Department to locate the replacement. Derrick did an excellent job locating the Detector I needed and I purchased and installed it today. I certainly commend Derrick for his professional assistance and dedication to excellent customer service. I will certainly be returning a returning customer.

The staff at Buddy Gregg have all been over the top nice and helpful. Our salesman, Josh Spears, stayed in touch throughout the entire trade-in and purchase process. He was a pleasure to work with. My husband, Travis, and I look forward to doing more business with Buddy Gregg in the future.

If your looking to a smaller, local dealership to provide a better overall experience and value, Buddy Gregg is not your place. We paid full sticker for a new travel trailer the last week in January. Found out today they still havent processed our paperwork with the state. Temp tags have been expired for a month. Emails to Jim (salesman) about the initial and ongoing issues we have experienced prior to ever using the camper for the first time go unanswered. I had high hopes for Buddy Gregg after reading the horrible reviews of large national dealerships. Unfortunately Buddy Gregg is no different. Not worth the higher price paid. Go to Camping World and save a couple thousand bucks. Youll probably have the same issues but at least you got a better deal.

Great Staff and excellent experience. Applied online and in person with multiple RV sales and could not get a reply or return call. Applied online and had a call back from Salesman, Josh Spears, within 30 mins. I wanted to purchase a travel trailer for my wife for Mother’s Day as a big surprise. Josh got the process going immediately. Within a Day, Kristin Reneau called me with the good news that the travel trailer was mine. They made the process so smooth and helped me make the big surprise a success. Would highly recommend Buddy Gregg to anyone.

Went into Buddys looking for a 6x10 or 6x12 cargo trailer. I met with Josh Spears who was awesome. I left with a great deal on an 8.5x20 and couldnt be happier. The whole experience was great. I recommend them to anyone looking to buy a trailer.

John Dieter is a wonderful sales person. Very informative and down to earth. He helped us find the right travel trailer without any pressure. We had a few issues in the initial walk through but Chris and Jerry made it right. Jerry was very thorough. We appreciated it. Over all a good experience.

Our unit was setup and ready for inspection upon arrival by our assigned tech. We were fortunate to be assigned tech Jerald Mesker. He was extremely knowledgeable and full of energy. He walked us through the rig and took notes of our concerns. He also found a few items that he wanted to personally address. He made the necessary repairs/adjustments before we took our rig home the following day which was scheduled. Jerald also made changes after we signed the contract without question. We were very impressed with his desire to make sure that we were satisfied, highly recommend requesting him for your walk-through.

We drove over 800 miles from Iowa, loved our experience and everyone. James did our walk through and even came back a couple times to answer more and/or reiterate. Alan was our salesman and Kristen finished up our paperwork.

John was fantastic at helping us choose our camper. Twice we’ve thought we knew what we wanted when looking elsewhere, then changed our minds. When we showed up and met John, we had a better idea of what we were looking for. He listened to us. He wasn’t out to sell us the newest or most expensive. As a matter of fact, it was important to him that we look for something we could safely tow with our existing vehicle and one that was within our budget. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. While James did not service or prepare our camper, his walk-through was excellent. James went above and beyond to ensure that we understood what our campers capabilities were, how to operate everything inside and outside, included our son and talked with him, then spent the time needed to ensure we were ready to hook up to our truck and feel 100% comfortable with everything. James corrected two issues identified during the walk-through to ensure that we left as happy customers. Many kudos to James!Both Josh and James are down-to-earth guys that are easy to talk to, are amazingly talented, and listen to their customers. Our family highly recommends both.Why only four stars? While these two gentlemen are all-stars, our overall experience was good but not spectacular. We arrived early on our scheduled signing day to drop off our trade-in. We were approached and asked if we were dropping it off, then given a location to take it. We drove to the area, and there was not an available parking spot to place the trade-in. My wife went to the service office to ask for further clarification and, after 10 minutes, was told to just drop our trade-in in the middle of the parking lot. That lack of planning and preparation delayed us in getting back to the main building to sign paperwork.We understood from prior conversations that a one-hour review of our trade-in would take place while we would be signing paperwork. Wrong. We sat for almost 90 minutes in the foyer while our trade-in was reviewed. Signing paperwork took an additional 45-50 minutes (this gentleman was super nice and pleasant, we dont recall his name). At 5:30 PM, we were being taken to do the walk-through; Buddy Gregg closes at 6 PM. Prior experiences have proven that walk-throughs take longer than 30 minutes.We do not want our experiences to negatively reflect on the staff members that provided us with extraordinary customer service. Five stars to them! However, we believe this organization needs some refinement in scheduling, preparation, and process flows. Buddy Gregg could and should be a 5-star dealership.

I recently had a stereo go out on an RV right before a family trip. I felt hopeless since there was no time. I called Buddy Gregg and spoke to Jessica. Even though they were extremely busy, she sympathized and asked if any of the techs would stay late to help me out. They agreed to help that same day and were professional and courteous the entire time. I worked with Brad at the service department and Richard was the tech that fixed the problem. What world class team they have there at Buddy Gregg! Highly recommended.

Recently purchased a camper from Buddy Gregg motorhome. Ryan Miller pulled up on a golf cart and greeted us as soon as we got out of our car. I purchased a Venture Sonic unit new in late February and after less than 2 months, the slide out broke. I took the unit in for warranty repairs which took more than 2 months to complete. The shop said that it was due to backordered parts. I picked up the unit today to find that literally nothing had been done to fix the problem - this was after I made a special drive from Florida where Ive since moved to pickup the unit. Im now already more than 5 hours from the shop and cant return back to get the unit back into the shop. Bottom line is I absolutely regret buying from this manufacturer (absolutely lemon product) from a scam dealer who sells shoddy products and doesnt complete/QC repairs. Both the manufacturer and dealer are being named in a lawsuit I will be bringing under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
