Always courteous. Couple times it’s been a long wait because it was very busy but usually very quick. Nice waiting areas.
Terrible place all around. Terrible service, and all about money. They quoted us a thousand dollars to fix our car before we left and then charged more than 2500 when they only had it a day. Then the car was still broken on our trip to NY two days after and It was another thousand dollar fix at another place. Would never recommend grayson. They also didnt even see the control bar on the trunk that was missing that we told them to fix that had broken off and they said it didnt need to be replaced. They are such clowns.
Purchased a 2022 Subaru Outback from John Myers. Excellent and Professional Service as always. He even delivered the car to me over 100 miles away on Sunday.
We just left Grayson Subaru having replaced the battery for about $210 for a 2018 Subaru Outback Limited. When asked why the battery only lasted for 3 years, our service advisor explained, in detail, that cars today have a lot of computer driven systems and that drains the battery causing it to need to be replaced after 3 years. He failed to tell us that this is a problem with late model year Outbacks and that a class action lawsuit has been filed regarding drainage problems with the Outback. He also did not mention the Outback has a reliability rating of 57 and Subaru does not want to recall the Outback for a design flaw. Subaru would rather have customers bear the full retail costs of replacing a weak battery with another one.I do not feel the service department at Grayson Subaru gives straight answers. Instead, they make up excuses for the lack of a quality product. If you buy a Subaru, and return to the dealership for an oil change after the initial service agreement expires, be prepared to pay. Subaru has a designed a product that is not as reliable as the same product of years past. Regular service is expensive at this dealership with the items they recommend. This was our first purchase for a Subaru Outback new in 2018 for around $40K. We could have and should have bought a better vehicle that is more reliable.Grayson should have discounted the battery today since it is a known issue with the vehicle. Instead, let the customer pay full retail for a problem that should be addressed with a vehicle recall.
I wish I could give no stars! I called for an estimate price to diagnose a problem with my 2011 Legacy. First I was put on hold for over 20 minutes, then pushed into an automated system that kept repeating itself with no end in sight. Then I called back and talked to a man who wouldnt give me an estimate because it was too scary in the most condescending tone possible. I fully understand that generally females are taken advantage of by mechanics, but I have never felt so disrespected in my life!
After our 2017 Subaru Forrester was totaled by a Jeep in Knoxville the end of January we immediately made the decision to replace it with a new one. All of the safety features saved me from serious injury so it was a no brainer to get another one. We worked with Izabela Fraiser and she turned our difficult situation into a pleasurable experience. She knew her product which made our decisions easier on choosing our new car. Her attention to detail was exceptional. The new safety features on our 2021 model are the best! Thank you Grayson and Izabela for being there for us.
Very friendly, knowledgeable about the Subaru. Marcus was our sales person . He found us the perfect SUV. Kept in touch to make sure everything is fine .
My wife and I recently purchased a 2021 Crosstrek. We had an incredible experience with our salesman, John Myers and the finance man, Tony. Both made us feel like family and showed us that they cared about us as people, not just as customers.Overall, it was a smooth, no-pressure event. Thanks again to the sales and finance staff for a wonderful experience.
Great experience all around. Drove out of our way to make it to Grayson and they made it worth the trip. Josh helped us out and was fantastic, going out of his way to make sure we got what we needed. Very happy, thanks again guys
My wife and I recently purchased a 21 Subaru Forest Sport in the Ice Blue color, we like many are not able to just go out and buy a new car on a whim because of financials, we just happened to be in the right place at the right time. With being new to East TN we figured out our Dodge Journey was not feasible for our new life with 3 young children it just wasnt safe enough for my liking. With the help of Ditto in finance and our salesman ( I cant remember his name at the moment sorry!!) we were able to drive home in our new forester sport with an amazing deal and perfect price!! thanks so much for looking out for us and getting us into something we are more comfortable with and that we know will keep us safe if the need arises. We look forward to our future business with you and hope service is just as good as sales was for us!
We just bought a car from Grayson Subaru and had a good experience. Our car salesman was knowledgeable and the guy with financing was incredible. One downside is they didn’t have a ton of vehicles considering it being the only Subaru in Knoxville. Overall a good buying experience and would recommend going. However, the sales manager was NOT friendly at all and never spoke to us even once after purchasing a vehicle. Also their “detailing” of cars wasn’t great given after we bought the car we found a tampon in it......
Zeke is the man, made it almost too easy. 10/10
Had a very good experience buying from Grayson Subaru. They had a good selection. JR was very helpful, and we are happy with the car.
If I could give six stars, I would. I purchased my car through Richard Blevins. He was absolutely amazing. Everyone here went above and beyond to help me! I never thought I would be able to purchase a new car but because of everyones hard work and cooperation I was able to leave in a 2021 Hyundai and I am so happy. What an amazing group of people with outstanding teamwork! Unlike other dealerships I have been to, this one actually focuses on taking care of the customer, rather than just making money and I am blessed to have chosen this dealership. I know where Ill be going next time I need a car! 11/10 would recommend!!
Not a good experience! Bought used car had slick front tires with wires sticking out- refused to replace, had flat on way home, then 2 days later get ticket because the mom car has illegal tint on windows. Should be illegal for them to sell illegal tinted vehicle. Also bought extended warranty- asked twice if it was the top plan we can get, said yes. After all the other trouble looked closer at paperwork says basic warranty.Beware!!!
Service was great.Employees were wonderful. It was super busy & I waited almost 3 hours for an oil change. They didnt even have time to wash my vehicle.
Yesterday I got the car of my dreams at Grayson Subaru! Diego helped us immediately when my husband and I got out of our truck, and started looking for a Subaru Forester. He was super helpful when it came to figuring out how we wanted to pay/finance the car and hustled to get the paper work done before 6, when the dealership was scheduled to close. With his help, we were able to purchase and drive off the lot in my new car!! He was very caring and patient with us even though we were short on time. Go see Diego and get a car!
Being in sales management myself I understand the importance of having associates who represent their company with an outstanding sense of professionalism and possess a wealth of knowledge of their products/services. That being said, I cannot say enough about Izabella Fraser and the pleasant experience my wife and I had with her during our recent purchase of a new Subaru Forester. She listened to our wants/needs and applied her expert knowledge to guide us in the direction of the vehicle that was right for us without being pushy at all. We weren’t just a commission in her eyes and I highly value that, as I do in my own associates. She was extremely informative of everything the vehicle(s) had to offer and was just an absolute gem to work with. I cannot recommend her enough. If you are in the market for a Subaru please go see Izabella and the rest of the excellent team at Grayson. This is our first Subaru purchase and we will definitely be back!
Asher is a great salesman. He did everything to get us a new car! He answered all questions and made sure what we wanted. He was not a pushy salesman nor tried to make sure he made a sale just for the money. He’s a great guy and I’d recommend Subaru to anyone that asked!
I purchased a used vehicle from Grayson today. Mark, one of the used car salesmen, is honest and through. He wasn’t too pushy, as many car salesmen are, and worked to get me good deal. Did I get a “great” deal? No but I received a FAIR price and Mark made that process easy.I would shop there again in the future.
Ive purchased three vehicles from Graysons. I did purchase a maintenance plan for the first car, which I sold to buy another. I was told that I would get a refund for the unused portion of the maintenance plan. Its been 4 months, and nothing. Im not even getting replies to my emails. Ive already pointed one person to Earl Duff Subaru and Ill continue to do so.EDIT:Graysons has taken care of my issue.
They have the best service I have found and are willing to work to your schedule, not theres
We had Mike Anderson helping us through the process of buying a secondary car for my business. Hands down he was the best car salesman that Ive ever encountered in all my life. He listened to my needs and pulled up several vehicles that we both agreed would fit my purposes and took the time to further narrow it down when I test drove and inspected the cars. When it came time to seal the deal it was with another car that I had just found that morning. He had the car waiting on me when I went to our appointment and that was that. I would go there just for him. Hes really an asset to the company.
I couldn’t be more satisfied with my overall experience. Robert Blevins is a car angel! Robert went above and beyond to help me get into a safe and reliable car that was in my budget. I had fears and doubts of approval from past credit issues and Robert kept me at ease and made a dream happen. I went with the mindset of leaving with “just some wheels” even if the car was older or wasnt aesthetically pleasing in my opinion only because I was desperate for a vehicle. Instead, Robert did more than expected and was able to get me into an amazing, low mileage, reliable, clean, bargain vehicle. They have a wide selection on their bargain lot for under 10k that are outstandingly reliable! If you have credit issues like myself or you are on a budget, please, if you can help it, do not settle for car lots that you think you are only limited to because of your credit. stay away from sketchy car lots, where you buy a car and run into car issues every other month. Especially buy here pay here lots. It never hurts to try and go somewhere reliable, like Grayson Subaru. Go see Robert Blevins and check out their new cars, used cars, or bargain lot! I promise Grayson Subaru is well worth it. I honestly couldn’t be happier or satisfied with my outcome. Robert Blevins is very good at what he does and he is very honest and reliable. I would give Grayson Subaru a million stars if given the option, it very well exceeds 5 stars.
My wife and I visited to purchase a Subaru, but the experience was so poor that we went elsewhere. The gentleman that was supposed to help us said he was too busy and pushed us off on another salesman, who pushed us off another another salesman, who pushed us off on the salesman we worked with who treated us more like an aggravation than a customer. When I asked about one of their Subarus, he bluntly told me you dont want that car with no further explanation. Instead, he thought it would be more efficient to make me and my wife walk to the car and crank it.On their website, said car was stated to be in good working condition and was advertised as a great value. In reality, the engine could barely run while parked. They misrepresented the vehicle on the website. My wife was in a boot and could not walk great distances. This annoyed my already aggravated salesman. We left and spent triple what I planned to spend at Grayson. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone buying anything other than a new car. The only reason they got 2 stars was that the stock is generally high quality, but dont expect any help. Instead, you can sit in the lobby for half an hour while everyone plays on their phones and loudly complains that they dont want to take that up on rotation.
Sales experience was great. Low pressure good price but customer service is non existent. Clearly not an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Was transferred to three different depts until Parts dept hung up on me
Great experience, I called in and talked to Nick, he worked my deal from trade value to final payment. Smooth and easy, Managers were great to talk to. Im in auto sales so i know exact things to ask and they respected that and my wife now drives a 2021 Outback!! Kudos to Nick for answering all my questions and staying late with us as we switched cars at the last minute. Highly recommend!
Service is incredibly slow. I made an appointment two weeks ago for an oil change only and was told it would be an hour and a half wait.
Very friendly. Would definitely come back.
We have purchased 2 vehicles from Grayson Subaru. The first was a 2008 Forester and we had no problems. We traded it in for a 2017 Crosstrek again with no issues, until we went to change the oil for the first time. As other reviews have pointed out Grayson does not seem to know how to change the oil. The plug was rounded and when the mechanic where we took it to get our oil changed finally got it off (it took him 2 hours) it was totally messed up. The oil change place then told us to contact our dealer to fix it as they were the ones who messed it up. By the way the oil pan was all dented up as well like they tried using an impact wrench to put the plug on. I called Grayson who insisted we would have to bring it to them. We live 2 hours away. When I asked them if they were going to pay for the tow, they said no. We sent them pictures to show them the problem but the salesman who sold it to us, Mike Anderson, said they did not need to look at them and that his manager still insisted we had to bring it in. Needless to say, we will not be purchasing anymore vehicles from Grayson and definitely will not be getting an oil change from them.
I’ve purchased two new Subarus from Grayson and worked with Logan on each transaction. Logan has always been a pleasure to work with and goes above and beyond even after the sale. Grayson as a whole has had exceptional customer service and both my Outback and WRX have been quality crafted vehicles. I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from Grayson and I fully endorse Logan as an exceptional representative.
I gave Grayson Subaru a call on Friday to inquire about a 2020 WRX Limited. I spoke to Logan who was super friendly off the get go and he had the car ready for me to test drive on Saturday. He was professional and knowledgeable about the products. I decided to purchase the vehicle and they gave me a fair price for my trade in as well as the new WRX. Never once did I feel pressured to make a deal. Logan and the rest of the sales team made me feel appreciated and welcome the entire time. I would highly recommend going to speak with Logan if you are in the market for a Subaru.
Our overall experience at Grayson Subaru/Hyundai was great. Originally we had met a salesman named CL but they didn’t have what we were looking for that day. CL emailed us when they had what we were looking for so we went back. When we showed up the second time on a busy Saturday, we were introduced to JR as CL was understandably working with other clients. JR made the whole process easy and comfortable. Even after the purchase of our pre-owned vehicle, he made sure to go above and beyond to exceed our expectations. We purchased the vehicle before they were finished cleaning/serving it and JR followed through after the purchase with getting everything done for us.
Izabela Fraser was absolutely wonderful. It was an extremely busy Saturday, no one had greeted us, and we had a few people walk past us, but as soon as she noticed we weren’t helped, she went right to helping us and getting us into the car we wanted to test drive. This was my first time buying a car, she made this process quick and easy. Not to mention she was so pleasant! I’m so thankful she helped us find the right car! I can’t thank her enough ! Ditto, was also wonderful and a ton of help! They were both very knowledgeable!!! 🙌
If you go there for a used car they basically run a credit report on you and tell you how much down to take that particular car home if you don’t have it then that’s pretty much it they don’t work with you at all. That was my experience and it was a giant waste of my time would not recommend. I will stay to buy here pay here places it just easier and they work with you a lot more for those that are just trying to start out getting a car.
I just bought a new car from Grayson Subaru. The sales experience was great and the guy that sold us the car was amazing. I am giving them three stars because of the false information provided on the deal sheet. I agreed to pay a $249 fee to have serial numbers engraved on my car because they told me there was no way to get around paying that fee. Once I made peace with the additional fee and got home I realized there had been no engraving done whatsoever. They literally placed stickers on the door panels of the vehicle. When I looked on Amazon the exact stickers sell for approximately $19. This is a huge scam and I am very disappointed in the dealership. Because of this I will not be going to this particular dealership for my scheduled maintenance or future purchases. Honesty and transparency go along way and repeat business.
Marcus was fantastic to work with. He is knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly, not pushy. I was hesitant to buy, only because I was replacing a paid vehicle that was totaled in a hit and run and I was not excited to take on a new car payment. I went to about a dozen dealerships and had a dozen different experiences. Marcus was by far the best sales rep I worked with and honestly, their vehicles impressed me, even against some of the luxury brands. Marcus was incredibly patient with me and we went over all of the options together. He even let me take the car for a day to get used to it and see if it was the right fit. I am in LOVE with my new Forester! Thank you Marcus!
Visited the service department for oil change and tire rotation. Great communication and very timely service from Tim and the team here today.
Good people to do business with. Great service on our vehicle too
Sister test drived a Crunchy Car! Brakes so Crunchy!! Hilarious!! 😂
Excellent First Service on my New Subaru Outback!Andy in the Service Lane was awesome. Keep up the good work. See you again in 6,000 miles.
This place is the biggest rip off Ive ever seen. Anytime I go here they pile on extra charges like its no ones business. This past time they charged 389 for replacing my transmission fluid, because the computer needs to be reset when you do it, yet I literally cant find ANYTHING online saying this to be true. Everything online says with parts plus labor it should be 200-250. These people are disgusting liars and will do anything to scam you and take your money.
Great job Subaru! I had plenty of things going on that needed to be done that I had neglected. Tim Claussen kept me informed of everything and I must say he is the best service rep that I have ever met in the 56 years of my life! He explained everything was very jovial which is a good thing cuz thats who my daughter and I are. She came in for service on her new Subaru for a tire problem Tim took care of it whipped it into shape and had it back out for us within no time. So I have a great car that is very safe and now Im at Tim. Yippee for me
Good luck getting ahold of them by phone
I should have read the reviews before I went to look at a car, when I got to the back of the lot a salesman approached me and did not even bother to engage me and ask me what I was looking for it was like he was just there to monitor me. I told him what I was looking for and why which was a daily driver as a second car. He did not even offer to get the keys to the vehicle I was looking at and as we walked back towards the front I asked about a test drive to which I was told they would have to to a credit pull. I have never been asked for a credit pull and I have bought many vehicles worth more than this mid 30s car. I could understand if I was a kid or something but I am almost 50 yo. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. If I do happen to buy a Subaru it will be out of town.
Great people, friendly customer service. And they always put customers first. 👍
I love my Subaru, and the service people have been nice enough, but when I was buying my car there or trying to get help for some paperwork due to applying for breast cancer needs, the sales department blew me off or were rude. They did not follow through with calls or promises without reminders. No one will respond to me about my issues. Choose another dealership. My brother got MUCH better service in Memphis. This dealership is SubaRude. There are others within driving distance of Knoxville which may be better.
Need a good salesman? Go see Mike. Shop service is always great as well. Easy to deal with, and always takes care of the customer like they should be
Service was efficient, but an oil change should not cost $82.
Outstanding customer service ! Love my Subaru, have had over 15 in the family over the years from Grayson. Excellent company to deal with. Now that my husband has passed away, it is comforting to be able to depend on my car and know I can trust Grayson Subaru .
I traded for a used car here today. My mom absolutely loved this dealership 10 years ago and I can see why. They were amazing, quick and easy. I have already been to another dealership for a similar trade and it was awful. I was so relieved to have such a great experience! We will be back!! Thanks Mike Anderson and John Myers!
Told them what I was looking for over the phone they assured us they had a decent dependable used family vehicle . A GMC ACADIA . I ask over the phone about major motor problems and if the A/C worked was told yes . So we made the decision to trust these folks and drove an hour and a half to look at this car upon test driving we discovered the A/C hose wasnt connected or has such a severe leak there wasnt enough pressure allowing the compressor to come on so No A/C and the motor had serious issues also after rubbing hand on the undercarriage of the vehicle my husband hand was saturated in oil so a major oil leak all of things I questioned over the phone and was told everything is good. After all this they insisted on trying to pressure us into buying a another piece of junk with no A/C HORRIBLE motor issues and OVER PRICED TO SAY THE LEAST. HORRIBLE car lot experience
We were traveling from Indiana to vacation in the Smoky Mountains when we experienced Subaru car troubles - we found Grayson Subaru and we’re very impressed with how quickly Brandon got us in to service to trouble shoot our problem - we were back on the road within an hour with our problem solved - Thank you!!!
Marcus Untalan showed me the Forester Sport and was extremely professional and courteous. Not pushy. Friendly. Very surprised. I typically hate car shopping but working with him made it pleasant. When I’m ready to purchase a Subaru I‘ll be asking for Marcus! Thank you!
We just bought our first outback and couldnt be happier!!! absolutely love the staffs service!!!great salesman great loan officers!!!
Just bought my first Subaru there yesterday (2012 Outback) and I couldn’t be happier! Zeke was very nice and patient and very helpful with the process of me buying my first car. Thank you Zeke!
Im a Retired Disabled Veteran. I came to view a Prius on the bargain side of the lot. I brought cash with me to view it. This was my second time. A salesman asked if I knew the price had changed. I indicated I knew of the change and that was why I came in was to see about buying the car. He asked if I had spoken to anyone about it yet and I indicated that I had already made one cash offer on the Carfax app on facebook marketplace after viewing the car. I received a message my offer was refused but that I thought I would come back and see it again and see if I liked it enough to pay what they were asking and was going to buy the car cash. He then told me it doesnt work that way when I asked for a buyers order for the total cash price so I knew the price was the same as advertised. He said they were to busy to print anything for a customer who asked for it. He actually was telling me my pocket if money didnt matter and he was too busy to help me. That I had to go through Their process to get a cash price in writing regardless of the advertising. So I said well ok I will go on ahead and leave then because when I am paying CASH its my rules not his. This guy was rude, poorly dressed, overweight and working the bargain corner on a Friday night yet had the nerve to act as if he was better than me. All for a car Im not even going to drive and was only going to buy to learn how hybrid technology works and changes. We have a new Jeep and Mini Cooper that we drive. This was a 3500 dollar science project. This rude salesman may think he is superior somehow but what is gonna hurt is the hundreds of people (mostly veterans) that I talk to monthly about buying cars and the best places to go. Here is a hint.....DONT go to Grayson.
Brought my 2020 outback in today for service. The rear ceiling light had become disengaged and needed repair. I was greeted warmly and professionally by the service manager. He told me the repair would take about 30 minutes and this was accurate. This service department is excellent, I will be bringing my car back for regular service. Highly recommend!
I emailed through their website about test driving a car and was replied to promptly by Seth saying the car Id inquired on was sold but I could look at others. I went to the dealer later and briefly spoke with Mike. He was rude and rushed and seemed to have no desire to make a sale or even speak to me. Left within 5 minutes to shop elsewhere.
If you want a Subaru and I highly recommend the brand, go to Grayson Subaru and ask for Lawrence. Hes the best!
Was looking for replacement vehicle. Looked at many online. Went to look at my number 2 choice and was greeted by Mike Anderson. He was very helpful, polite and professional. Ended the day with a new vehicle. Very nice dealership. Mike was very attentive and hard working. Great experience!
Great experience with John Peterson as our sales guy. We were looking for a specific vehicle, a Crosstrek in hyper blue. We found it online and requested a price and got an amazing quote sent in, it was almost unbelievable. We got a call shortly after from John getting some more information for me. Explained how we were bottom up on a Ford Focus (transmission issues led us to wanting to sell!) He asked how much we owed, then assured us they would pay off the focus and give us a fresh start with the crosstrek. He worked miracles, and we are very lucky to have gotten such an honest and reputable dealer.
Grayson Subaru worked on my vehicle. Man, so disappointed. Replaced the wrong part, charged me, sent me home in my car that was in worse condition then it was before coming here, and did not do right by me. So so so disappointed. (Furthermore- when my subaru was towed to your dealership, after you were informed it would be there soon, you did not know it was even there for four days. AND... I was told that, losing one customer is not a problem.)
Always great work from their service department
Friendly service
Well I can you the employers or so good there is christ king men he is nice managers they are so professionally well my first new ride as to be from grayson Subaru
Worst customer service ever will never recommend to anyone if I could put less than one star 100%would wouldn’t even run my credit for me to buy a vehicle worst dealership in the Knoxville I have perfect credit they just don’t wanna help me
Incredibly happy with our purchase from Grayson Subaru! Robert Blevins is amazing!! He has gone above and beyond! Highly recommend him!
Not a fan of the way parts department speaks to people on the phone.
I worked with Clinton and Jennifer and they both did an excellent job. Very pleased.
They were all great. They took good care of my Subaru. Many thanks.
We bought a car for our daughter here and our experience was great! Went back to buy something for our son and they wouldn’t budge over a cracked windshield! We only asked that they take the cost of us replacing the windshield from the sale price but the sales manager refused! Let a sale walk over $300. Stupid!
Initial contact with John very pleasant and straight forward. Procedure with finance manger a nightmare kept pushing for many add ons We paid cash but still had to go trough him to tile. Would NOT buy from them again if he is there
Friendly and quick. It’s easy to get an appointment. Look for coupons before you go in for service!
We purchased a 2018 Subaru Outback in November 2017 and I have regretted it since then. We have had trouble with the battery going dead all the time when nothing is left on or open. We took the car to the service department in December of 2019 for this specific issue and after the car was there for roughly 5 days we had high hopes that this issue would be resolved. Less than a month later the car started having a dead battery again. (We replaced the battery originally before taking it to the service department December 2019). They did a test showing the hatch was sensing that it was open when it was not and this was the reason the battery was draining. I noted to a service department member around the 2nd or 3rd oil change that the hatch was difficult to close. We pay a high monthly payment for a car that is very unreliable. We bought this car a month before my son was born and sold my 2006 Toyota 4 Runner and I wish we decided to keep that instead. It is frustrating waking up in the morning to go to work/taking a child to a family members house and realizing your car is dead. This happens almost every day/other day then it will go about a week or so without dying. I have read several forums where people with this model Outback have the same issues.
John Brooks was a fantastic salesman. Everyone I worked with was phenomenal. Thank you for such a stress free experience! This is my first Subaru, but it won’t be my last!
I am very disappointed and upset with the service I received on April 30, 2020. I took my 2010 Forester in for an issue with not starting, it took an hour on that morning to finally get it to start. Which I called the service advisor about. The engine had also overheated once. I left it in good faith that they would find the issue and fix it. When I got the call later that day, it was that the radiator was leaking, or pouring as the service advisor put it. and I needed a new radiator and thermostat, which would cost $700 plus to do. He also told me that they had no issue with it starting, having tried it 20 times. When I went to pick it up, the technician came out and said that it would not start. Only then was it hooked up to a diagnostic computer to see if any codes showed. I was under the assumption that this was the first thing done to a vehicle when it was brought in. They immediately got a code for a crank sensor that was messed up causing it to jump time and not start. It could be fixed for another $200 plus. I asked the service advisor where exactly the radiator was leaking, because it seemed odd that it would suddenly spring a leak. He got flustered and made up something about a plastic tank. My husband then asked to see the old radiator. I paid the $970 something bill and left. Once we got home the old radiator proved to have no leaks at all when filled with water. And upon looking at my receipt, the technician had written that the radiator CAP had been leaking on both sides, not the radiator! My husband and I are furious and want out money back for the unnecessary radiator. I feel that I was lied to by the service advisor and taken advantage of as a woman to convince me that my vehicle needed something that it didnt.
John Meyers did an excellent job helping me find a new Forester I built online. I’d recommend him to anybody looking for a vehicle. He was easy to communicate with, friendly, and made everything go as smooth as possible.
Please read the reviews on Better Business Bureau prior to making any business arrangements with Grayson Hundai/Subaru.Grayson Subaru worked on my vehicle, failed to fix the issue I initially brought it in for, refused to repair it after I refused to sell it to them, and reassembled it incorrectly. After the initial visit, my vehicle was returned to their shop for the same problem as before. They had replaced a turbo, but now the air intake hose for said turbo is bad. Considering they are linked, that shows no one checked it prior to reinstalling it onto the new turbo. Additionally, any test drive was not significant enough to check that their work resolved the issue before I picked the car up and paid for the work. They asked to purchase my vehicle after they failed to fix it, but I declined. After I declined to sell or trade my vehicle in, they dodged my calls for a month, I decline to pay to have them fix the hose because they charged me $2,200 for the work already but never fixed the problem. I go to pick up my vehicle, and it is rattling underneath the hood where the new turbo is installed because bolts are missing off the metal cover and who knows what else.Grayson himself refused to do right by my family and me, refused to repair my vehicle, and told me to take my business elsewhere. This dealership does NOT care about the customer. They just make numbers.I expect this review will have some response claiming I had two separate issues they worked on, but that is a lie. I swear my life on it. My review wouldnt be the first they lie about either.
Service Manager Tim was very helpful and friendly!!
Great service! Thanks Nick Woodrum! Well be back!
Was texting them about getting approved and what Id need for a down payment, and all I got for a response was a thumbs up emoji just seemed real unprofessional and kinda rude.
I found Grayson using Google Maps. I wanted to buy a new Legacy, and Grayson had a great price. Nick in sales helped me find the car I wanted and walked me through the process. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good deal on a Subaru.
Very polite people, building was clean, bathroom was clean...I appreciate great work
Got an Outback from them. Loved the salesman Logan. Very friendly and extremely helpful. Not pushy at all! Buy from him, you won’t regret it.
Found a Gem of a Car for under $5000.00Also enjoy a new car for wife.Great place to get a car!
Very helpful and very nice
Grayson used high pressure and deception in an attempt to capture our business. We told them upfront that we wouldnt be buying a car, that we were just looking. We had a great experience with the salesman, Matthew Wilson. He represented Grayson and Subaru very well. We wanted a quote but reminded Matthew that we would not be buying a car that day. Things turned bad when Matthew worked with the back-office to produce an offer. Firstly, the quote was labeled, Today Only. Secondly, there was a handwritten note on the offer listing the features that theyd throw in at, No Additional Cost. We left. Later, I used the Subaru website and priced out the car Grayson had quoted us. I was surprised to learn that we had been deceived by the back-office. The No Cost items included in the Today Only offer were already built into the quoted price. So, between the pressure tactic of the back-office and the deception we decided that we would take our business elsewhere and recommend that others avoid Grayson Subaru. In fact, we found, and purchased, a Subaru elsewhere - identical to the one we were working with Grayson on for approximately $1,000 less than what Grayson offered it for.
I went into the Service Center was having issues that I couldnt identify! Steve was the man he helped me run diagnostics twice, assisted in finding the problem and went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience. 10/10 Recommend!
Came in about 30 minutes prior to closing. Was interested in a few cars. No one ever acknowledged our presence. They just started pulling the cars up to the gate for closing about 15 minutes til 6. Didnt seem to care they we didnt even get a greeting. One guy was at the gate and barely looked at us as we were leaving. We went on down to another dealership who was more than happy to talk to us.
Wife and I tried to buy a car as Ive always wanted a Subaru. We found an SUV we wanted, but they wouldnt sit down with us. Told us to come back later. Then they said theyd call us. Was ghosted twice. Feels bad. On the plus side, bought a new Kia Sorento!
Helped check out a used car and all the problems.
Another scheduled service. Excellent people to deal with!
First and last Subaru...Our 2013 Subaru Outback recently broke down while driving to a scheduled appointment at Grayson for oil change/recall repair. We called Subaru to discuss possible engine failure and initially felt reassured by their response. The service department was made aware that we knew about a class-action lawsuit our car was included in. The settlement and subsequent warranty was for excessive oil consumption.Grayson claimed that Subaru of America, Inc.(SOA) was responsible for all warranty/claims issues. Therefore I contacted them immediately to file claim, as advised by Grayson. SOA documented in email that the decision to deny the claim was made by the retailer. I was told that the claim was denied because engine was blown and oil consumption test could not be performed. However, SOA did not notify their customers of an oil consumption problem and subsequent lawsuit. The settlement was for extended warranty to 100,000 miles or 8 years for engine problems with our VIN # and engine. Our car was within both guidelines.Neither party would accept responsibility and I am sadly disappointed in the outcome, being that I’ll be out over 5k. I was willing to compromise and pay part of repair, but SOA responded with offer of $1000 off new vehicle.Subaru does not stand behind their product.Of note, Andy in the Service Department was pleasant to work with, but had no decision-making authority.
Whatever they put in the employee coffee station, makes the folks here so NICE! They are fun and happy! I am also super confident in their skills. These guys make stressful repairs much easier to deal with. While everyone I’ve interacted with is fantastic, Tim C is exceptional. He makes me feel like I’m coming to a family dinner, not a service appointment.Definitely never taking my car elsewhere.
Process was fine, but was sold a car with only one working headlight. They saw they rigorously inspect every vehicle but if they missed that than Im not sure how rigorous the inspection really is.
