Thr transporter lot is disgusting! The dumpster is overflowing, where r we supposed to put our trash?? All over the lot is trash! This is what u call a place of business?? I think its terrible a multi billion dollar company doesnt take care of there own property! Again disgusting!

Covid sure has changed things. Security staff are very pleasant and extremely helpful.

Security guards are very unpleasant (especially at pipe lot)..Enforcing covid19 questionnaire like its the constitution, but contradict themselves by not wearing face coverings when dealing with customers. Respond rudely when confronted.

You can no longer watch vehicles go through the auction and the building is no longer open to customers.

Big auction with a large inventory that suits all needs. Entrance can be a bit tricky especially during an active auction. Locating vehicles that youve purchased or for someone else can be both very easy & incredibly nerve wracking as the lot is huge & cars tend to get scattered.

Great place to work if you like driving different vehicles everyday and like being outside. Most of the people there are friendly and cordial. Teamwork is the mantra of those I work with.

My home auction. I thought Id update my review. The people that work at the Kent location are amazing. Their hands are tied though as Manheim has done a great job at destroying this once great auction. DAA has taken over this area through great customer service and aggressive sales, Im afraid to say. Put a fork in her, Ms Manheim.....shes done.

I love Manheim Seattle. Since I joined, they have taken care of me and always have top quality vehicles. I only purchase at this auction. Ive tried DAA where Ive been screwed over before with arbitration. Stick here and youll be alright.

These guys provided good service, short terms for purchase/sale. Later tried Repokar with my relative to sell his old bmw coupe. Fast as well and no rip-off fees like others use to charge !

In addition to those, Ive had numerous other smaller problems - such as but not limited to: floor prices not being put in at all/or put in at the correct amount, condition report or lack of condition report requests being put in incorrectly (ie in reverse of what I want), additional fees being charged WHICH ARE INCORRECT and not accurate (so keep an eye on your invoices or youll probably pay a bit extra), evening gate hours being changed randomly so when you show up to pick up a car you have to come back the next day instead, occasionally cars on their property being messed with, andddd the list goes on....!!!!Do I really need to come in and HOLD ALL THE EMPLOYEES HANDS, making sure they do their job properly??? What a disgrace!!! Its mind blowing how much stuff theyve got wrong for me (more than has been right, I can assure you of that!) and thats JUST ME - what about the other thousands of dealers nationwide??But, when Manheim makes A KILLING charging Buy + Sale Fees on every car, Condition Report fees, Sale Day Wash Fees, an additional Internet Satisfaction Fee (for internet sales - BOTH to buyer & seller!!), PSI Fees, Cash Payment Fee, etc, and contracts out the auctioneers to minimize employees & overhead - plus plays favorites with large new car stores and high volume dealers, they simply dont care about customer service or ANYONE -- just the bottom line profit margin. Which is sad really!!! Shame on you Manheim!!And now, Manheim wants to focus more on digital sales - so buyers cant even see & inspect the cars theyre supposed to be spending money on??? HAHAHA WHAT A JOKE!!! NOPE, NEVER DOING THAT!!!While I will say: to deal with them is basically a necessary evil as theyre the largest auction nationwide, and most dealers dont have much of a choice - it would sureeeee be nice if they upped their customer service & attention to detail immensely!! I guess thats my dream for the future, similar to Martin Luther King Jrs dream I guess.... maybe one day....Until then: I wonder what the next fee they will come up with will be?? Perhaps like the commercial, a fee fee. Or possibly a fee to enter the premise on sale day/an entrance fee. Or maybe start charging to park in their lot to attend the sale? Only time will tell which way this goes....Thanks for reading and be careful dealers!Note: these experiences above have been at several Manheim locations across three states, not just one location in particular.

Hiring staff didnt get back to me at all and when i called Darius Taylor about my resume, he was angry and yelling at me over the phone. Hes a hiring manager and yelling at me when I called to check upon my application. Ive never been treated so rudely from a company.

Great place, good cars, and generally helpful staff...aside from the one security guard who tends to make everything sound like the worst case scenario (but he generally tends to be entertaining anyway). Consider coming by on auction day and seeing what they have!

Their security guard harassed me for standing on the overpass above their lot. He accused me of being a car theif and said I was scoping out the lot so I could steal vehicles. What a joke. I was walking to work and had stopped to check my phone. What a dumbass! Last time I checked the bridge was owned and maintained by the city of Kent, not Manheim Auto. People can stand up there all day if they want, its really not the car lots business. I filed a complaint with the company and if he approaches me again I will file a report with the police.
