Klaben Ford sets the bar high for superior customer service ! We live in northern Virginia but were having trouble getting our 2018 Ford Escape repaired - needed a new engine and was just outside of warranty . After horrific experiences in our own area with 2 different dealerships, a friend of ours told us about the folks at Klaben Ford and suggested we give them a call . Best advice ever ! The owner, Richard Klaben, along with his service manager Tom and his team guided us through the long tedious process, advocating for us every step of the way even though Klaben Ford was not even involved in any way with the purchase of our Ford ! At one point Rich even offered to send out one of his employees to pick up the car and drive it back there to fix it at no cost to us, explaining it was “ the right thing to do”. Well, I wish every car dealership was half as dedicated to providing this type of customer service regardless of whether they were making a sale or benefitting in any way . I hate buying cars because my experiences have not always been the best, but all I can say is how grateful we are to Klaben Ford for going above and beyond and helping us out ! The next time we do need to buy a car you can bet we’ll be driving to Ohio !

I ordered and purchased a Ford Maverick working with Louis Polos from Klaben and had a wonderful experience. Easily the best and smoothest car buying experience I’ve ever had. Louis was very friendly and to the point while also not being pushy or at all like the “classic car salesman” cliché. Always treated well by Mike B in the service dept. and we have been loyal customers.However, after a recent oil change and tire rotation I was slightly miffed to get home and only have two valve stem caps remaining. They were very loose and ready to fall off so I know the tech. didnt tighten all 4 of them and two of them fell off on the ride home.Sloppy work this time guys. Any reoccurring episodes like this will test our loyalty.

I never felt unsure or rushed, and every detail was laid out so I knew exactly what I was and was not getting with my purchase. When it was time to talk financing, Jenn was awesome. She had all the paperwork ready and waiting—and it was a lot of paperwork. She answered any question I had easily and effectively. She offered me an extended warranty, but did not try to supersale me, simply stated what the dealership offered. I signed all my papers, she shook my hand and Nate led me to my new car. I have to say, Sean in service really went the extra mile to make things right.In a nutshell, 2 weeks after having brand new tires installed on my Mustang GT a wire cable buried flag somehow embedded itself into my brand new tire. After calling Klaben, they told me I didnt have the road hazard warranty (it was never offered to me) and that I had to buy a new tire.No mention of bringing it in, taking a look at it, just buy a new tire, though these were literally 14 days old and maybe had 50 miles on them.I called my service rep and gave him 5 days to call me back. When he didnt, I went ahead and just bought a new tire online and scheduled it to be installed elsewhere, then deleted my review content and only left the one star.The morning after I bought the tire, Sean calls me and asks what happened and why I left the 1 star review. I told him what happened and I swear Ive never seen such lightning fast service to make this right.He sent 2 guys out shortly after our conversation to fill the tire and take my car to Klaben to put a new tire on it. They did that, hand washed and detailed it and brought it back to my home in a matter of hours.Now all 4 of my tires have the warranty they should have had all along and the peace of mind is invaluable.Thank you, Sean, Mario and even Nate for calling to make sure everything was good and that I am happy with the service.I truly appreciate you guys taking care of this. When I lived in Ohio, I bought vehicles from this dealership for many years. While I was visiting Ohio for a funeral, the car I was driving malfunctioned. So I went to Klaben to buy a new SUV based upon the positive experiences I had with them in the past. My original salesman no longer worked there but I had a positive experience with Ryan who sold me a Ford Explorer.

Theyre quick with the online ordering. I order parts for my car and in no time flat it was processed and I was able to pick them up with no issue.

Thank you to the Klaben Ford Lincoln team in Kent, OH. There was an issue with my new vehicle purchased at another Ford dealership. The repair was covered under warranty. They gave me the run around for weeks about the part coming in. Eventually I contacted Klaben and they made this process easy for me. From scheduling an appointment to completion of the repair and picking up my care. It was a breeze compared to the other dealership. Tyler the Service representative provided a loaner explained they would identify the issue and contact me. The part was ordered and the problem fixed. The Klaben team is highly professional, courteous, and easy to work with!

The only negative thing I experienced during my appointment with Klaben Ford Service was the attempted sale of a $350 brake job and another job which I dont remember by Tyler without his even seeing the vehicle. Not cool.

Class act all the way through. Salesman Mike Uzl responded to my inquiry in early June, taking my order for a new 2021 Ford Raptor 37. Mike not only kept me informed, but he and his team actually helped guide me and saved me from choosing what would have been an unfortunate clash of colors in my new vehicle. Though auto makers were plagued with production and shipping delays this summer, Mike stayed in close contact, giving me thoughtful and professional reassurance when I felt the first pangs of worry. When the vehicle arrived in early October, Mike wasnt able to be there, due to a family emergency, but team member Louis Polos stepped in and stepped up. His efficiency and warm, welcoming attitude helped us come down from the ledge after a long, stressful drive to pick up the vehicle. Its a 200 mile drive for us to get to Klaben, but if this is the level of sales and service we can expect in the future, well be glad to make that trip for every new vehicle purchase we make. I came in for a standard oil change & told Tyler, who I see there, that my car was pulling to the right when I drive. He listened & answered any/all of my questions. I didn’t know how long things would take so since I’m a loyalty links member I got into a rental & was out of the service department within 30min & didn’t have to worry about waiting for my car. Ive been a Klaben customer for about 5 years now and every time I buy car they do something that amazes me. Im starting to thing the Rich has a magic wand!!My wife and I wanted to surprise our 18 year old with a car for his birthday. We looked at some of their used inventory, but then Chris Volk from the sales department called me telling me about a sweet deal on a brand new 2020 Ecosport. It didnt take much to sell me on it! The deal itself wouldve been enough to rave about, but thats just where things got started...A little backstory...Ive always wanted to purchase a vehicle and have it sitting on the driveway in the morning with a big red bow on it (like the commercials, lol). Granted, I always envisioned doing this for my wife, but she and I decided that it would be awesome to do for our oldest son. Klaben recently handled a repair to my vehicle after an accident. They called me within minutes of receiving the assignment and I was able to drop off my vehicle the same day. Steve Workman handled my vehicle and kept me updated on the progress and ensured my vehicle looked great and was also safe to put back on the road. I cant believe I ever went anywhere else. The price gouging you hear about going to the dealership for servicing does not apply to Klaben. We have been going here since 2000 and I am so glad we did. This past year was rough(family health) and dealing with car issues didnt help. I would call Mona and she went that extra mile to help. They came out and drove the car in and left a rental. This happened 3 times and each time was handed with professionalism and compassion. Mona is by far one the best customer service person I have ever met. She is also a great person.

Efficient, effective service. Safe atmosphere. Put customer service ahead of pure profits. Was counseled by staff that I needed some repairs I was able to complete at home. They could have tried to upsell the work at the dealership, but were receptive to my plan to make repairs myself. When I returned to the dealership for an alignment, they found it unnecessary, and there was no charge. I taught auto technology for years, and am genuinely impressed by the Klaben staff.
