I was visiting family from out of town and began having problems with my macular degeneration. We called this office and without hesitation they told me to come in within a few hours. I have never had my condition explained to me as thoroughly as Dr Hester explained it. He spent more time with me than any other doctor ever has, and put my mind at ease immediately. His staff was so very kind and thoughtful and made me feel very comfortable. I wish so much that Dr Hester and his staff were in my home town.

Hester Eye Associates PC has got their system down as far as COVID goes. Was escorted in when I got there. I was in and out in an hour. Dr Hester is caring and is never too busy to explain diagnosis and answer any questions. The rest of the staff is just as caring.

They are wonderful here. Warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. We are a larger family and they navigate us and our policy details to save us time and money.

During recent routine appointment Dr Hester uncovered a problem related to an old lense implant from a 30 year old cataract surgery. The lense had detached and no longer functioned and vision in that eye was horrible.A recent visit with my retina specialist had, for some reason, not detected this anomaly. Dr Hester is now coordinating follow up and procedures to repair this damage.

My eyes were blurry because I was not using restasis morning and night. I called Doctor Hester and he told me what to do. My eyes were not clearing up as fast as I thought they should, so I called again and spoke to Deb. And she suggested the same thing Doctor Hester had said and we drop by and picked up the heat pad for my eyes. Deb came out of the office and brought it to us. You guys are the best!! Hesters is the best place to get your eyes checked. If you are looking for convenient times, compassionate staff and Clean well maintained offices.My daughter and I had our eyes checked and Hesters and both our experiences were very positive. I felt really good about the care we received after leaving. They also found issues with the current prescription that we had at another Provider.Their choice of glasses were great and my daughter found a pair that looks beautiful on her face.I cannot recommend them enough.

Walked in with a non-appointment issue to be checked. Dr Hester and staff saw me immediately. Checked my eyes and told me that there was no internal damage. Then he checked them again to be safe. A bruise on the eyeball (looked bad). Recommended eye drops to alleviate irritation.Good news and peace of mind. Thanks much.

This place was amazing all hands up to Deborah the optrician.since my granddaughter needed glasses and has special eye problems we have lived in Charlotte and was satisfied with a doctor but that was about all weve recently moved back to Georgia and I have searched and hunted for someone to help me, everybody said they couldnt help me with my granddaughters eye glasses. I call the office the lady up front immediately helped me and told me just come on in we can see you today and see what we can do for you to fix your glasses or change the frames. She then had Deborah Phelps help me out I was so amazed and blessed to meet such a fantastic woman an the ladies at the front desk. Debra who is so caring and loving both myself and granddaughter was so comfortable amazed with her completely fixed my granddaughters glasses that I was told that nobody else could do it was impossible they fit better than they did when I first bought these glasses the most caring and loving people it was so refreshing to finally find someone because you do not get people like this in the world today even though they do not accept my insurance I have no problem paying out-of-pocket for such wonderful care thank you Deborah for being who you are and a fantastic opticians !!!!!!

Dr. Hester is a perfectionist when it comes to making sure your prescription is the best it can be so you can see clearly! I was becoming afraid to drive at night due to what I thought was my age and reduced eyesight due to that. I finally feel confident with my new prescription to drive once again at night! Every time I have needed glasses, sunglasses or my wife has needed contacts, they have found the best lenses and frames for the money and they work well with my insurance. It was my first time so I’m not sure how they do things here but I when I walked in I received no greeting or even though the employees looked straight at me. People after me were treated much better. Wasted 15-20 minutes seeking help. I will not return.

I have been going to Hester Eye Associates since Dr Hester first opened his practice.He has guided me thru eye glasses, thru, Lasik Surgery, and then thru Cataract Surgery on both eyes, and thru all the years he has tested me and has kept a very watchful watch for Macular degeneration wich affected 3 people in my mothers family. I have trusted him with my eyes and will continue to always do so. He has also been the Doctor of choice for my family as well. I would recommend Dr Hester and Hester Eye Associates who really wants True Care for their eyes.

Having used Dr. Hester for quite a few years now, I can recommend him with confidence. He and his staff are very friendly and also very competent. The office very well run and they do not over-schedule. No long waits way after your appointment time. Oh, and they do not try to sell you additional services.But, more to the point, the skill and professionalism of the care I have received has been of the highest quality. I am not a stress free patient by any means but I a little less stressed because I am sure of the care of I will receive. (Im still a coward though.)
