Cant believe Ive never left them a review but here it is. The guys here are great, it feels like youre hanging out with friends. There isnt an overwhelming amount of food choices but each item is delicious! The muffin rings are awesome, the coffee has so much flavor and is not too sweet unlike your typical coffee place. Thanks john for the skellington surprise in my coffee!!

This place is my SAVIOR in the morning! I am a teacher at the high school down the street and I love the coffee and kolaches here. However, the best part about this place is the kind and wonderful employees that work here. They know me by now, and they are always so nice to me. Consider tipping them! It can be really busy in the mornings and they have a relatively small staff. They work very hard. Thank you, Grindhouse!

The Americano was goodly friend loved her ice much and Kolache service was fast friendlyThe amazing part.The amazing part happened after I left; I accidentally tipped a 100$and didnt notice until a few hours later. They had already corrected it. My only suggestion would be vegan choices. Service always takes the experience to the next level

This is such a great coffee shop!!! They make the best donuts, all fresh made in house by hand. Theyre simply amazing. The coffee is always deliciously on point and theyre good at foam decorations, hearts, smiley face, little cat. Just a wonderful experience every time. Thanks guys!!

One of my favorite places! I always enjoy the latte art but the flavors of the coffee are the best.Bakery goods seem to go fast so dont miss out!Parking can be a bit tight but you wont miss this location unless you dont stop! ;)

Stopped by this place at work for a quick cup of coffee, not only is the staff incredibly friendly, but they have a large selection of coffees and pastries to choose from. will definitely be visiting more often! I’m working in the area for the next couple months and this will for sure be my go-to coffee shop. Prices are very reasonable as well

I love this little coffee shop! I had this pecan pie latte (which is just as heavenly as it sounds) along with an egg sausage cheese jalapeño kolache, and both were excellent!! This place is cozy and a nice place to sit for a while. Ill definitely be back to try a donut to two! 💖

This place is the best! The staff are funny, friendly and really care about their customers. The coffee is awesome with so many different options. The kolaches and breakfast sandwiches are awesome! Came in right before closing and was expecting it to be mediocre but our coffee and kolache was perfect.

So ... let’s talk turkey... the breakfast turkey sandwich has a new turkey meat and is worth trying also if you are looking for a cup of oat milk this is the place to go and add some cinnamon to it. Also the pastry’s the have are delicious especially the cinnamon rolls

I like this place a lot, its a nice little cozy gem. I LOVE their bacon, egg, and mozzarella sandwich and strawberry rolls. Good coffee and teas, staff are all really nice and friendly and like the other reviewer said, the guys are cute... I try to make it over here at least once a week before going into work in the morning.

This is a great place. Coffee was very good. The food is very fresh and delicious. Jalepeno kolache and the Apple cinnamon roll were superb!Customer service is excellent and there quickly to attend to you.I highly recommend it.

The two men and lady are so kind! I work at jack in the box in the heights area so sometimes I try to catch them before they close at 1pm and they dont rush me and one time the man gave me extra donuts(so sweet) I feel welcomed when I go there especially after having to wait at the bus stop on corner in heat lol! Hours correction: open till 1:30, not 2. This is the best breakfast place in town! The guys are super sweet and friendly and the food is Amazing!!! Jalapeno kolaches have jalapeno stuffed great thick sausages! Its so flavorful and yummy! Great price! Donuts are fresh. The maple bacon fritter bites are just incredible! All the great food and great customer service and on top of that they donate food to the church nearby everyday! So happy to have found this place!!!

In Houston, sometimes it feels like good coffee comes with the price of a long wait in line. Unfortunately, many excellent coffee houses have a 15-30 minute wait before you can even order. At Grindhouse, however, the wait is reasonable and the coffee is great. The flavor of a plain latte is sweet and not bitter; no flavors needed. The staff are also friendly and down to earth. The owner is often working behind the counter with his staff. They have been accommodating to my weird coffee preferences as well, and I always feel welcome here. Great coffee house!

The two guys working there are awesome! Customer service is great and their coffees are even better. If you want to hangout outside you can but The sitting area is small.

First time here fabulous!! They have some great pistachio muffins, which Ive never seen or had before. great breakfast they have turkey as a choice instead of all the fattening stuff and its on Ciobatta bread. it was ou this world! will go back!!

Coffee is always nice and hot and plenty on the menu to make it a one stop visit. Small sitting area so get there early, you wont be disappointed.

Really love this place! Friendly people who take pride in their work. Plus they have fresh made kolaches and donuts! My favorite thing though is when I was pregnant or nursing I could get decaf lattes, which are not offered through Starbucks or some of the other local coffee houses.

If you havent been here before, youre missing out on quite possibly the greatest coffee shop in all of Texas. I used to think coffee wasnt that great of a beverage, and sandwiches were a sub par food, but after coming to Grind House, I am a changed man. Not many coffee options, only two. I mean coffee shop I expected more. Ordered a cafe auit and I had pour my coffee in the cup then give back to them to add the steam milk...WTH is that. The kolache was so-so, a lot of bread and a little skinny sausage. I like to support small businesses but sorry guys you need to improve.

Great space to hang out and get some quick stuff done online. Very friendly staff, from what it looks like they have tons or regulars that they know by name. Feels good to see and receive great customer service. My favorite is the Big Texas Sausage and Cheese Kolache. Prefer the hot drink here due to the iced coffee being prepared already before you order it. Good parking considering most people are to go orders here. Highly recommend this hidden gem on this busy road.

My wife & I were some of the first customers to go check this place out and we havent stopped going back for more. We always enjoy having lunch at GH. And its always great to see the owner Tony. They love to improve the menu so if they dont have something you want just talk to the staff, maybe next time you show up they will have a specialty item for you. The best local coffee & all of the food is delicious!! I highly recommend the Chicken Salad Sandwich or The Cuban Sandwich 👌💯

SO happy to have found this place this morning!! The staff was helpful and actually seemed to be enjoying their work. I had a hazlenut macchiato and wanted something to eat with it. They suggested the fritters and once he told me maple bacon i was SOLD. The coffee was good - they know what theyre doing and the fritters.. YUM!!! I will definitely be back. I live in Virginia and was visiting Houston for the first time just a few weeks ago. Grindhouse was a convenient mid-point for me and my family to meet a friend who we havent seen in a long time. Not only was the coffee wonderful, but the owner was super kind and helped make our visit together wonderful. The environment is so pleasant for conversation - something that is hard to find these days. Im SO glad we stumbled upon Grindhouse. Our time there as friends was a highlight of our trip, and the kindness expressed by the owner will always be remembered. Thank you!

I was able to order several dozen donuts and kolaches on short notice for a corporate event. Amazing service! Tony, John, & Uri are great and they remember all the regulars! Specialty coffees available as well as some great Katz drip coffee if youre on the go!
