Good coffee, nice atmosphere, and good service...but, because of all this, it is hard to find a seat.
I live next door to this place. It used to be good even though it’s always been over priced, not anymore, the staff are rude and now they are just slinging day old and 2 day old stale cold stuff and charging an arm and a leg for whatever. They have a bunch of passive aggressive signs with their rules, the signs have exclamation points on them like they are yelling at you. Super uptight. Also, they are closed on Monday and Tuesday which is odd. I do not recommend this place.
This place is very popular with tourists and as such you will wait if you want to dine in. They have set rules about dining in vs take away - if you dine in make sure to put your name down on the list near the door, dont order anything till you are seated. If you dont want to dine in, just order at the front counter. The prices and food was great and I would recommend at least one visit, but I dont know if Ill come back. It is a bit out of the way and parking is difficult/limited.
Ordered online 30 minutes before arriving but they make you wait in a line to pick up your drink/food... With people who have just showed up and are placing their orders in line. My drinks going cold for no reason. Saw it on the counter. Already been waiting over 10 minutes in line for no reason.
This place is amazing. I dont drink coffee but I hear its pretty darn good. I usually get a London Fog and it is so delicious. Morning Glass food is always superb and better than the normal morning grub.
During this time they only have take out, but prior they had dine in. Their coffee is great, macciatos served properly. The breakfast is killer. Scones are amazing, side note you can get a max of 6 scones at the location. If you preporder ahead of time you are able to order more.Pretty sufficient amount of parking which is a plus. Dog friendly since they have covered and open seating.
Very disappointed with them. We went for sunday morning breakfast hoping to try a must have food while on Ohau, the mac and cheese pancakes. Well they werent serving those right now due to covid they said. They also make you order online if you want your food before 10 am, even though they open at 8. But we still all they asked hoping for an amazing breakfast. We were disappointed to say the least. The biscuits tasted as though they were a couple of days old and the coffee was just so so. We actually would have preferred the McDonalds next door and spent half the money. Until they lift all of the restaurants self imposed covid restrictions, you should avoid this place.
Not fresh, makes you order online then wait in line after even if your coffee is ready, actually opens at 8:15 and not 8, and took me 50 minutes to eventually ask for a refund because of the wait times. no other cafe works like this that i know of.
Before we moved away two years ago, my wife and I would visit Morning Glass almost every weekend. Their weekend brunch was fantastic, their coffee was delicious, and their staff was worth getting to know.Visiting the island two years later, Morning Glass is the same great place I remember. Highly recommended, especially for the weekend brunch (though get there early, the seating is limited and fills up quickly)
One of the best cups of coffee I had in Hawaii. Their house bean is pretty unique IMHO. It was fruity, mellow, light but strong at the same time. Most other espresso based coffees I had were much more acidic and full bodied. This was a nice and pleasant change. I ordered a cortado which was perfectly prepared. Highly recommended
Delicious coffee and breakfast sandwiches and the staff was wonderful!!
Service, coffee and baked goods are always stellar...
Beautiful and delicious! The shop itself is very small, but has an open design to let all the fresh air in. Though it was small and packed, we got a table right away. The food took a little while to prep but was so worth it. The bread was homemade and the coffee brewed to order. Plus the staff were very helpful and patient. There were people standing near the door so I was a little confused as to whether they were waiting to order or waiting for a table, etc. but a staff member noticed me and explained everything kindly and clearly. We stopped here on our way to Manoa Falls and just walked from the cafe the rest of the way, it added about 40 minutes to the hike, but it goes through a cute little neighborhood with nice views of the mountains all around.
Great coffee, food, and pastries. Its a neighborhood favorite and worth a stop if youre in the area.
Good coffee and friendly staff 💕
The mocha is top
Beautiful restaurant, lovely cocktails and the food was out of this world!!
Best coffee on the island!
Ordered a London smog (London tea with espresso, this variety was iced and I chose to add milk). Absolutely loved it. Also was lucky enough to get some homemade Rice Krispie treats from the bakery! This place is worth the visit.
The mac and cheese pancake gives chicken and waffles a run for the money. Parking can be hard to find but worth being patient. I like to use a generous amount of hot sauce and maple syrup pairs beautiful with a coffee drink I prefer Cortado. Beautiful views of the punch bowl area also it is close to Manoa falls. If you are energetic enough after coffee and that cheesy deliciousness.
Fried rice and sausage omelet at it again! Absolutely love that combo for a late breakfast early lunch meal. This place sits in the heart of Manoa and offers outdoor seating with friendly service. It is a little pricey but totally worth it!
Real food, home cooked and absolutely delicious. Great ☕. Great service. Very reasonably priced.Cant recommend highly enough.
Great coffee! If you are looking for high quality soft brew (pour over) coffee this is the place. Fantastic quality cup of coffee, several single origins to choose from.
Im familiar with how Cova beans taste like on espresso and got excited they carried beans from our home town. The shots they are pulling here are just awful. Maybe I just got a bad shot but it was bitter and way over extracted. The milk was way too hot and burnt also. I will give another try later, hopefully it will be better this time..
I cant say anything bad about this place. They have the best coffee, the best food, the best location, and the best staff on the entire island. My first recommendation to anyone visiting Oahu who wants a true taste of Aloha.
Food is great. So is cold brew and they are always happy to see you
My favorite meal is breakfast. So Im finicky. I would eat here every day if I could. Theyre that good! You should give them a try. Seating is limited so be prepared to share your table if its busy. And they serve lunch. Which I havent tried. Ill get back to you on that.
Update in September 2021: Food includes pastries has become online order beforehand and pick up only. I presume its because of Covid19 restrictions. Weird thing is that online order doesnt seem to let us choose the pickup time and only tells me what time to come. So inconvenient. You can order drinks on the spot though. Stopped by when I was hungry during a walk and it was a mistake.Update: they finally have got a nice glass case to keep baked goods in. I used to wonder if they were fly larvae infested because I always saw flies around them. Great improvement. This place could be insanely busy for a coffee shop. Coffee is good but small amount and its expensive. Seen so many good reviews on food too but isnt it overrated? Taste good but not that special. Good atmosphere if cars are not parked so close to it.
The best place Ive eaten in Hawaii! The hamburgers were like bitting into a tender steak. The specialty dishes were to to die for. Cant recommend this place enough!
Best Espresso in Oahu! Perfectly pulled shots. Definitely check them out if you are looking for expertly handled espresso. They also offer a wide range of options for clever.
They use the cleaver brewer method which is not your traditional pour over method but serves up a great cup of coffee. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Great coffee, friendly and quick service. They have coconut, almond, and macadamia nut milk (yum!). The blueberry scone was really good too! Its an open-air cafe with 8 tables that can seat about 4-6 each. Definitely busy and popular, but not uncomfortably crowded.
Great place. Food was phenomenal and the service was mirrored. The location is small and quaint. There can be a wait at times but its well worth it.
My favorite coffee shop during my visit. Third wave so the coffee was amazing! The food was delicious as well. We ordered several dishes and did family style and I was surprised that the Mac n’ cheese pancakes were my favorite. The staff was very friendly.
The food here was delicious and so creative. Biscuits and gravy were the best Ive ever had!! Mac and Cheese pancakes were out of this world!! My husband didnt give me but one taste of his fried rice burrito, which was too good to share!!! Definitely will make a trip back to Oahu just to try everything else!!!
Wife really wanted to try the macaroni pancakes. She loved them. I had the breakfast burrito which was pretty awesome. Great friendly service very close to Manoa Falls trail. Amazing views of the mountains. Must visit!
Very happy we stumbled upon this hidden gem! The cafe olla was decadent, banana lillikoi and strawberry yuzu scones were light, buttery yet moist and so flavorful and the latte with macadamia nut milk out of this world. New favorite spot!!
Stopped by before our hike. Cappuccino was good. Banana bread ok. But amazing macaroni cheese pancake. The cheese was thin and crisp. Rich but worth it. Split it with 3 others! Good vibe.
Eric Rose and crew put out excellent breakfast, brunch, lunch and sweets. Not a coffee drinker but friends have declared this the best place to go for the best and best made coffee. Be prepared to wait for a table, but the wait is worth it for the food. Good quality ingredients prepared very well!
Again, as at every visit, outstanding service and food. Coffee with aloha. And the Lilikoi Cream Rice Krispie Treats, when available, will make you happy all day.
Awesome Turkey sandwich and delicious lemon ginger tea. Will be back soon! Next time, pictures.
Flavorful coffee and unique breakfast specials in a relaxed atmosphere. Permitted my doggie to sit with us and even provided a water bowl. Great spot and friendly staff!
Such a cute coffee shop, right by my house. They always have fun grab and go offerings in the case in the morning. I really appreciate the open air atmosphere, friendly people, and the cafes attention to detail in their food and drinks :)
Came here on a Sunday. Great cold brew, and the limited menu offered that day was delicious. The fried rice omelette was so good! Definitely worth looking in to.
My favorite coffee shop on Oahu. The food is always amazing, the menu is simple and the coffee is always on point.
Great cafe. Best coffee around, hands down. Soft brew method with good choice of single origin beans. The egg and bacon muffin was simple and delicious. If you know what coffee should taste like, and have never ordered a double iced vanilla chai macadamia frappe, you will like this place. Also, great hot chocolates for non-coffee drinkers.
Pastries and snacks are legit. Sandwiches are simple and delicious. Gonna assume the coffee is good as every cup is dripped individually. I get the Vietnamese coffee, love it. Super cool people working in there that are friendly and remember you.
A really good place to visit. Nice space for relaxing or getting some work done. This location impressed me.
Open air digs and fantastic food and coffee make for a really laid-back Aloha friendly vibe. Far enough inland to not feel touristy.
Have been to Morning Glass twice since arriving in Oahu and both times were very good. The iced lattes are great; I found the vanilla to be lacking a little but really enjoyed my girlfriends caramel latte. The first day we went we ordered breakfast tacos which were very good. The second was for Saturday morning breakfast with their expanded menu. The oven skillet eggs I ordered were delicious, and the two other breakfasts ordered by the girlfriend and her brother were also very tasty. I cant speak to just a normal cup of coffee, but I definitely recommend this place.
Just what you look for in a local community coffee shop. Small, friendly, and good quality. Top notch quality pour overs from multiple regions, clean espresso drinks, and a great selection of baked goods and breakest affairs. This place is splendid.
Best neighborhood coffee spot in Manoa that draws tourists from around the world. Brunch is delicious and worth the wait but it’s a long wait. Afternoons are usually chill and they serve great lunch then too.
Slow service. Constant conversation. Usually out of goods before 9AM. Tiny location. Crowded. Over priced. Overall, the long wait and constant crowd of people just does not make the food worth it.
We drive across the island for this coffee experience. Love the coffee, fare, and quaintness of this little gem. The view of the mountains is breathtaking and the service is always commendable.
Great coffee, scones, unique breakfast items and sandwiches. The service is good. The wait to order at breakfast and brunch can sometimes be long.
Excellent coffee, brewed and served right. Great, creative food options both bakery snacks and freshly prepared meals. Cozy seating is usually crowded, but Ive always managed to find a place to sit before my food arrives.
Small shop, but its wonderful! Delicious breakfast and coffee. Will visit again when in Oahu.
First time going to this coffee shop. Friendly staff, a good cup of cappuccino, shared tables. The parking is pretty limited and this shop does get pretty busy. So stop by as early as you can.
Cool vibe going on, fun staff and a good mix of drinks and food - the lemon scone was very nice! Good varieties of teas, an excellent earl grey they have
Very simple but infinite options to create your own perfect dinner. 8 so soups and dozens of things to add to them. One of Oahus best Taiwan style hot pot places.
This place was great. The hot breakfast options are outstanding and the lattes are tasty. It was pretty packed, even on a weekday, so be prepared to wait for a table.
Be careful if you want to stay. Very few tables.
This place was nice. Very knowledgeable about coffee and its sourcing/brewing processes. Decent baked goods as well
My husband and I love to visit coffee shops, so we decided to stop here. We ordered our coffee and a sandwich and it was delicious. There is a sign that says you must place your order first, then you get a table. We ordered and sat a the only available table, which could seat about 4 people. Possibly more. We even offered the extra seats to other customers. While I was eating, a worker came over and asked us to move because another group of customers wanted our table. They were still in line and had not ordered. There were also THREE other tables with couples (that had extra seats at their table and the tables were the same size) that were sitting, talking, not eating and not drinking coffee but the employee decided to ask us to move instead of them. WHILE I WAS EATING. Would you do that to someone at a restaurant? No. So they shouldnt have done it to us. Especially when the group hadnt ordered yet (which is their policy and they have signs saying so). I also watched this same employee refuse to allow a woman to sit at a table when the others in her group were ordering because she had not ordered (yet those with her did). The same employee also told a woman they didnt allow people to bring in foods from other places (which is understandable, even though the two other women with her ordered sandwiches from Morning Glass), yet when people who appeared to be her friends, did the same, she didnt say a word. Im highly disappointed in the behavior of this employee and the rudeness was absolutely unacceptable. And because of that behavior, I would NOT recommend it.
Excellent coffee. Given their popularity, I think it would behoove them to take on a larger space. I cant wait to try their food!
I love morning glass. They are the best coffee shop ever. Love the people that work there too!!
Best coffee in Hawaii!
Really nice place with awesome servers. Gotta love the view. Perfect place to stop for breakfast before or after the hike up to Manoa falls. Had the kimchee omelette and the mac and cheese pancakes. Omelette was amazing since they used good kimchee. Im not a big fan of cheese on my sweet breakfast items so wasnt really keen on that one. Love breakfast so this was a must for us.
Freshest pour over coffees and great lunches... very reasonable prices. Voted best scones AND...BURGERS ( big island grass-fed!
I have mixed feelings about this place, if you get here when its a calm day this place is amazing, great food and even better coffee. Generally weekdays seem to be better, still its an easy 5 stars even if you have to wait for a table.
Get a single origin, try the banana bread and take a seat at the round table outside. Great views, super chilled vibe and the perfect spot to go for a hike. I also got to meet 4 amazing guys who made my Hawaii trip to the most memorable holidays yet. #playingwiththeboys
Super cute place. They were very friendly!
Excellent one of the best favorite coffee

Nice space, fresh made, good food, good parking except at peak times, good sandwiches for takeout. Pleasant Cafe space with screened in dining area, but not much of a view besides parking, the street. They need pure Kona coffee
The view from this place and the ambience is just amazing but so is everything in Hawaii 🥰🥰🥰
Staffs does their responsibility without opposition and restraint. They are trained to perfection! Of course, I would never forget the ingenious blend of their coffees. Mines favorite is the frappuccino with chocolate toppings! I always partner it with chocolate cake. They are a match made in heaven. I highly recommend it to my colleagues!
Excellent customer service, and the clever come Ethiopian was incredible! Id also recommend the vietnamese iced coffee!
Awesome service, great coffee selection and food. Great spot for breakfast ambience. Had the Vietnamese Iced coffee, Biscuits and Gravy (you could opt in for sugar cured bacon and or fried rice) and the fried rice (half regular, half Kim chee)
Really good coffee and food. Nice atmosphere and very cozy. Definitely going back.
My favorite coffee spot. Yummy breakfast, burgers & sandwiches. Good variety of baked goods too! Everything is good here.
Great service snd food. Well marketed. Coffee could have been better
