Oh my, the best coffee I’ve ever had. It was so creamy & delicious. I ordered a large iced kai latte with macadamia milk. If you don’t have a nut allergy, i would definitely recommend ordering this milk. The banana was also great! The workers are really nice and helpful. Please stop by if you have a chance.
I love their Kai latte, it’s delicious. It has this macadamia taste and it’s not too sweet. It’s good cold or hot. I also tried their chai tea and again, it’s not overly sweet like the ones in Starbucks or most places. The prices are high but it’s in a touristy area and located in the Hyatt Regency plaza. Try it if you like good lattes!
We are environmentally-minded folks and like Kai Coffee. But while the science has shown you dont get COVID as much through touch and instead through the air, their decision to not accept any reusable mugs seems an odd one: Starbucks and other local vendors do. So what were left with is more plastic-lined paper cups and plastic lids. Be a friend to the environment, please.
The worst $6 croissant ever old and very dry and burnt. Tasted like a cardboard box.Coffee was good but forget the $6 croissant. Was so bad had to review. It was at The Hyatt location at 6am
Their espresso drinks really are delicious. Expect to wait up to 20 minutes and you won’t be disappointed. Tried their Kai Latte (macadamia nut flavored) with an extra shot and I was worried it might be too sweet, but it was spot on 🤌Also had their standard cafe latte with oat milk and it’s about as good as I’ve ever had. Friendly barista staff too! ☕️
The absolute best frappe Ive ever had in my life hands down....
Fresh breakfast sandwiches, excellent Hawaiian coffee, quick service.
#grateful the employees were up and motivated early the coffee is awesome I will be back later to experience the desserts and breakfast today was all about the coffee thank you guys for working
Coffee was pretty good and they served the long line very quickly. However, I didnt enjoy the breakfast sandwich; the pre-cooked eggs, bacon, and cheese were cold. Id recommend their coffee but not the food.
Easy to find convenient location! staff is efficient and knowledgeable. Coffee is delicious!!
Our favorite coffee in Honolulu opens a new, larger shop a few minutes walk from the original - now with a roaster and classroom in the back and sun-drenched beachfront seats out front. Seriously excellent espresso drinks and cold brew, with a selection of sandwiches and juices. But now I have to choose between the two locations and the friendly staff who remembers us every time we return!
The coffee was delicious 😋, the service was great. Loved my chocolate croissant.
The coffee and other offerings here are delicious; however, due to the location inside a hotel there are always lines and a long wait
This place was great. Everything is transparent. You can see how everything is made. The coffee beans are grinded down to make fresh coffee. They have cold brew on the menu which is great. The employees are friendly. Everything is open and simple. I had a great experience. The cold brew I ordered was super strong which tasted unique. You put the amount of sugar you want as you walk around the bar.
I dont get the hype. I had the Kai Latte and it was unremarkable. In fact I could not taste or smell the macadamia it is supposed to have. I was not impressed. They have one single person working there and the line is out the door. It is insane. I think tourists have FOMO and line up to have coffee there or any of their outlets.
One of the best coffees Ive had in my life.....and this is coming directly from a coffeeholic! Try their Kai Latte please....youre welcome!
One of the best coffee places in Waikiki! Amazing taste! Local Kona beans!
At 6am today, while they were opening, just walked up to ask a question and first thing out of the guys mouth is the the line is over there.Way to greet a customer. I just wanted to ask if they had decaf.NEVER AGAIN!
The coffee was not pure Kona. Coffee latte with too much suger? It was a strange and terrible experience for me.
Way, way better than over priced Starbucks Coffee ☕
The queue was unnecessarily long but it was quite worth of waiting. I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Beach and Spa resort and everyday ordered Coffee Latte with Vanilla flavor.
Their signature Kai Latte (6$) is pretty good. It was smooth and flavorful. 6$ for a medium is a bit overpriced but it is Waikiki. I also had their blueberry scones (6$) and that was also pretty good. I would get it again though because it wasn’t worth it. I love how the location is right in front of Waikiki beach. You can just relax right, feel the breeze and look at all the tourist while drinking coffee. That’s true paradise. The staff is nice and the drinks are made quick. I would come again when I feel like paying 6$ for a coffee.
This place rocks! Way better than Starbucks.... best coffee ever!!
If you’re looking for craft coffee, this is NOT the place. Basically a knockoff Starbucks. The espresso was rather burnt and I cringed just watching how it was made. Just trying to pump out drinks with no regard for quality. Wouldn’t come here again
The best coffee Ive had... Very smooth and the espresso is not bitter but you can taste how strong it is. Staff moves very efficiently .
One of the better coffee shops on the island. Surprisingly the coffee on this island has been really disappointing so the good ones get really long lines. Kai Coffee is no exception.
From an Australian coffee drinkers perspective, this coffee is good and the service was also good. There was frequent Australian patronage which meant that the staff were a little better at understanding out requests. There are breakfast wraps and rolls as well as bagels and banana bread to go with the espresso. If youre staying in Waikiki and need non-burnt espresso, this would be my pick, although if youre down the other end Kona coffee was also good.
Line gets too long as soon as they open. Go early. Coffee was good
The coffee was good wish it was a bit stronger. The breakfast wrap I got was I little cold in the middle but overall coffee had a great taste
Great coffee, long line in the morning.Worth it.
I stay at Hyatt hotel for 5 days. Every morning I would go pick up kai coffee at this place but this morning the owner was so rude to me because I grabbed breakfast from other location and sitting at his kai table. He kick us out.
Great coffee and crapes! “Aloha in every cup”
Nice lil spot for a quick bite, tasty food and coffee
Lines get long as soon as they open but they are fast
Delicious coffee and quick tasty snacks!
Rich flavour Hawaiian coffee.
So good. Highly recommend their espresso. It is bright, acidic, and strong. We thought about buying a 1lbs bag but, OMG its expensive!
Amazing! Great coffee, food, the barista is awesome and everyone is inviting! I go every morning.
The coffee shop is cute if a bit small. There is 1 long high top table inside the shop. There are also a handful of 4-seat wooden tables just outside, as well as a few smaller tables. The smaller tables are right behind a waterfall in the atrium, so conversation was a little difficult. The staff was friendly and quick, which is exactly what I need when I havent had my first cup of coffee yet.The prices are about on par with Starbucks. Which is to say, a little more than Id like to spend on a daily basis. The Kai Latte was pretty delicious. It is just sweet enough without the syrupy aftertaste. The chocolate covered macadamia nut on top is a great way to finish off the cup of coffee.
Pricy, good coffee, nice staff and a cold egg in an otherwise hot breakfast sandwich.
When you go to a place everyday for 8 straight days during an 8 day vacation you know there is something special about it. This was the best coffee I have had in recent years. The kai latte was exceptional with macadamia milk. The crepes are also fantastic and the staff are great. Highly recommend going here
The Kai Latte was very tasty!
Great single-source Hawaiian coffee and even better service. After bringing our French Press Kona Peaberry our, the barista brought out a sample of their brewed Kona Extra Fancy which was quite different, still excellent and smart because it guaranteed a return visit. There is a comfortable outdoor seating area where you can engage in people watching.
Amazing mocha and the chocolate chip cookie is soo good!
Had my first cup of coffee in over a year here and it was great. Mahalo nui loa for the coffee.
Best coffee in Hawaii forsure
I get iced dirty chai and it is heavenly, thank you!
Ordered the Macadamia nut frappe with coffee and cream. Probably one of the best without a ridiculous price tag.
These guys are the best... only when they don’t run out of 1/2 n 1/2 lolololol
Kai coffee was my fave place when Tony was there, he was an amazing barista and fabulous customer service skills! Went there today to enjoy a blueberry scone cost of $6.00, over the top,out of line. As a visitor I have been trying to spend more money than previous years to help the jobs and economy. My biggest disappointnent is they sell you food and drink, they are a mall business, I am a long time customer, they wont let you use the washroom, using Covid-19 as the excuse! Create some jobs, open the washrooms, hire some cleaners! I was told the washroom is for hotel guests only, what about shopping mall guests!? I am thoroughly disappointed in that the majority of the Waikiki malls have latte shops and full washroom access! Poor reflection on Hyatt!
Great coffee ☕ awesome people and service
The coffee is nicely balanced.
Top quality local coffee. I didnt prefer coffee until I became a regular here.
Friendly and open early 6am. Veggie wrap is delicious.
Great coffee but mixed up with our order, inattentive
Good coffee and breakfast, but be prepared to wait.
Worth the wait.
After jogging I visited the placeKai latte and the coffee was great
