I have hired these Able Movers twice, and plan to call them again the next time I move.The first time I hired them was about 5 years ago; I just needed help moving some of my larger furniture into a second floor, one bedroom apartment. It took them less than ten minutes.The second time I called them to help me move out and they were just as efficient and cost effective. It was September 2020--in the middle of the Pandemic, and during the height of fire season, when all the wildfire smoke had blocked out the sun. Despite the apocalyptic conditions, Kevin was ready to put me on the schedule for the very next day! I asked him to schedule me for a day a few weeks out, and he was happy to accommodate, even tho that would be their second job that day.Kevin and Terrance showed up exactly when they said they would, and wasted no time getting started. They were a whirlwind, sweeping all my furniture down the stairs into the truck like it was made of paper. They piled all my little boxes into larger wardrobe boxes and carted them out and down the stairs like no big deal.The price is exactly what I expected to pay, even including tip, and they were done within the minimum time allotted by oregon state law. Even made a stop between my old place and new place to pick up an extra piece of furniture!I am so grateful, and look forward to their help next time I move!My only regret is that it took me so long to post this review 😜

Excellent movers. They had everything loaded and uploaded in just 4 hours. Very friendly also.

I gave Kevin a $200 deposit and secured my move date of 06/25/21. No call no show on that date. Prior to making my reservation Kevin told me to have my things packed and ready to go that day, which I did. On the day of my move no word from him. No call. No text. Nothing. He did a no show. Kevin took my money and has completely failed to do his part. I had to contact my bank for a refund of the deposit. Worst service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Not reliable. Able Movers? HA! More like UN-able.

We just got our stuff delivered and assembled from Costco through Kevin and his friend. They were sharp on time, and were quick enough to do the move. The recliners were super heavy, but they were so good at lifting and assembling them. We also shifted a lot of furniture to a new place, they did it absolutely professionally. Packing and handing was done with total care. Great guys, I would call them again for our entire move! Highly recommend them!

These guys carefully moved my childhood piano down a flight of tricky stairs and into my new home for a very reasonable rate. They were very responsive to my initial inquiry and were able to quickly get the move on their schedule. I would definitely recommend them if you need a piano moved!

We were left hanging by another moving company (after paying) and had received a quick call backfr these guys in lieu of our emergency. Due to their quick response, 90 minutes later, our heroes arrived! They showed up and went to work. They’re very personable and keep the job the priority. Best clutch movers ever! Well worth the call and will be a repeat customer if/when it comes up.

We have a scheduled move this Sunday and payed a deposit. They are not responding to any texts and the phone is not receiving voice mails. There email also just bounced back so I can only assume they took our money and ran! DO NOT CONTACT THIS COMPANY!

Life savers! These guys saved my day. I needed a couple VERY large items moved up a staircase after a delivery & did not get to schedule it ahead of time. My call was returned quickly and they fit me in at the end of the day after their other jobs were wrapped up. I know it was already a long day for them. They were friendly, quick and great to work with. So grateful they could do this for us!

They failed to show up or even call on the scheduled move date, after already taking a $200 deposit. They took our money and did nothing.

I needed to leave my current place right away and Able movers was able to squeeze me in to their schedule last minute. They were hard workers, efficient, friendly and overall super easy to work with! I scheduled my move weeks in advance. With Covid I asked if the movers would wear masks. I was told there would be a charge, fine..but the owner said they really dont like to wear them and would prefer not to. Sorry, I requested them be worn. The time was set for a 9am arrival. By 9:30 I called the only number available. No answer. I called and emailed over the next two hours. No response! At 12:20 I got a text...sorry I overslept, WERE on our way. At this time I already had family moving with a small truck and all heavy items were moved. When I finally got a call back the owner was rude and unprofessional. You caused me so much stress on an already stressful day. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! A ONE DAY MOVE TOOK THREE DAYS DOING IT MYSELF. I REFUSED TO LET THEM COME AFTER HE WANTED TO CHARGE A REGULAR RATE AFTER BEING OVER 3 HOURS LATE AND WAS SO FREAKING RUDE!

Great experience with these guys. They were able to make a last minute move happen, taking our items from a storage pod and bringing them into the home. And they made quick work of it!

In October of 2018, my movers flaked. And I freaked out. I’m a single woman and had no way of moving large boxes and furniture. I frantically sent a message to the first person I found I Yelp with little hope that I would get a response that day. Within 15 minutes I had a call from Kevin and he managed to work me in the next day. He was, for all intents and purposes, a godsend.I needed to move again at the end of May and I again contacted Kevin. He was super responsive and answered all of my questions within a few hours of sending an email. He sent an email with all the details, but also followed up with a phone call to make sure that I had everything I needed.No move is flawless, but this one went as well as can be expected. I had some questions after the move and instead of having the attitude that the job was over, Kevin stayed in contact until everything was solved.When it comes time to move again, I’ll be calling Kevin. He’s a man you can trust and is the best there is in the moving business!Call him! You won’t regret it!

The crew arrived almost an hour late and broke the first thing they touched. However after that rocky start, they moved everything very well and worked hard the entire time. I’ve used this company twice, both with pretty good results. In the end I would recommend them and use them a third time as well.

Wow, I couldn’t be more please with these gentlemen! This was my first time hiring a moving company to assist me in my move. So it was safe to say that I had no idea what to expect. Kevin, the owner was extremely helpful right from the start. Efficient, timely & responsive to name a few. On moving day I was a little worried that we would have to make several trips back and forth throughout the day. This was until we met Craig. He assured us from the start that this was going to be a quick and easy move. He pulled it off with ease. He is incredibly skilled at his job. Able Movers was able to help me with a very last minute job at our house in Tigard. Kevin, the owner, was super accommodating and easy to communicate with. Craig worked so hard to get our house packed, and then did the majority of the loading into our shipping container. Noah also helped pack and was very friendly and efficient. I couldnt believe how much work Craig was able to get done in a few hours, and it was a total lifesaver once we saw how much work it would have taken to do it ourselves (and we wouldnt have done nearly as good a job as these pros). The efficiency with the move was impressive. Alex, Justin and Carlos halped with my move. My move was 3 flight of stairs down and 3 flights of stairs back up. We needed someone to move some things we had in storage in Hillsboro, Or to the Seattle area in Washington. I called several moving companies and got quotes but decided to go with Able Movers. They were the only movers that were able to get the job done quickly. Everything was very defined and besides being at the storage facility at the time promised they closed out the units with the facility while we drove back to Washington. They delivered everything in a timely manner while handling our things with care. We are very happy with Able Movers and highly recommend them.

Things done for me: moved furniture from one home to another, moved furniture to another part of the house for floor installation, moved treadmill downstairs (then upstairs), took apart furniture, and put it back together. Price very reasonable, calls returned promptly. I will call no other company. They are perfect for both large and smalll jobs.

These guys do a fantastic job with very good attitudes. We added a few pieces to the mix mid-move and it was no problem for them to adjust. We appreciated their patience with the changes and the move went very smooth all around.

Although they were not on time, the owner was communicating with me about being delayed. When they did show up they were diligent, careful, and fast. In the end we were very satisfied with the move and will keep them in mind for future move.

They were recommended by someone else so i wasnt sure what to expect. i needed some very heavy commercial kitchen equipment moved out of some tight spaces.right away i could tell they were going to be good at their job. they asked me all the right questions for what they were going to need to do. they explained the pricing options ahead of time so there were no surprises. Guys were pretty quick and did good job. However, they were not on time. We scheduled for 9 am, but they came at 11 am. Also, it was quite difficult to communicate with them on the phone.
