I have been taking cars to this Brakes Plus for over 10 years now, and they consistently do a great job! I have been a customer long enough to know of their honesty and I completely trust them to tell me what my cars do and do not need. They rarely make something seem urgent (unless it is!!) and often point things out that need to be done sometime in the near future, giving me time to think about it and budget for it. I appreciate this so much! The staff is always kind, both on the phone and in person, and they always make me feel like a valued customer. My daughter and I were driving from home in the mountains to Denver and Colorado Springs. Twice during our drive our car felt like we hydroplaned around a corner on a dry road. It’s incredibly rare these days to find companies that stand behind their work but Manager Kevin O’ Sullivan and Brakes Plus do it right. We had an oil change performed on a 06’ Tacoma and unfortunately the oil plug wasn’t tightened properly causing the engine to seize once all the oil drained.Obviously this was a huge issue and we knew the engine would need to be replaced. When I called and spoke to Kevin I was ready to “go to war” verbally and legally. The conversation with him lasted about two minutes, he took complete responsibility and replaced the engine at no cost to us!That’s how businesses should take care of their customers and we will be lifelong customers… you should be too! Excellent service and honor need to be mentioned and shared. Tell anyone who needs auto service to come here - they will not regret it!!

Words cannot begin to describe how amazing the guys at Brakes Plus in the Highlands Ranch truly are!I brought my 2004 Saturn Ion in for repairs on my brakes 2 weeks ago (after my long time mechanic at a different shop recommended I get all 4 brakes and rotors replaced).I was relieved and surprised when the guys at Brakes Plus only recommended getting my rear brakes replaced as they said my front brakes still had quite a bit of life left on them. I could not believe their level of honesty and integrity in talking me out of getting work done that did not need to be done, thus saving me $400.Today I had them replace all 4 shocks/struts, and once again they charged me FAR less than my mechanic quoted, saving me a few hundred dollars once again! They also offered me a ton of discounts/coupons without me even having to ask. My check charging system light came on and I brought my car to them. It was more than an alternator and they took their time and went above and beyond to find the part, which was a lot of work. Came to this location for new brakes and oil change. The mechanics here are friendly. They do not try to talk you into things you do not need. That is a huge pet peeve of mine. People usually assume I know nothing about cars. Pricing is very reasonable compared to other car shops.

I have been coming to this Brakes Plus for our vehicle needs for several years and would highly recommend them for their quality of work, fair prices, ethical approach to their business and professionalism. Between their mechanics and the team that works the front office, theyve clearly done an excellent job attracting and retaining quality staff.Several years ago, just to do a comparison on some work on one of our vehicles, we took it to another shop that is rated highly nearby with a solid reputation. Our vehicle was overdue for a few items, but the quoted price seemed high for the work. We then took it to Brakes Plus and two things struck me. First, they identified the same issues without us giving any guidance on what the other shop flagged (although unlike the other location, they made it clear what was critical vs. items that could wait) and the quote for the same work was about 30% less. After that, we stopped worrying about shopping around, because we had never had any doubt that Brakes Plus took good care of our vehicles and this solidified in our minds that they also charged a VERY fair price for the work.We keep coming back to this location because we always get good service on all of our vehicles (which have ranged from 30+ years old to fairly new) and in the rare case where they cannot perform work (transmission rebuild, etc), theyve been able to point us to similar quality specialty shops to perform the work.I have had mixed experience with other shops in the past and its been rare when Ive felt like I got both a fair price and good service - always seemed to be one or the other. Theres no doubt in my mind that we get both with Brakes Plus and thats why we keep coming back.

During a new tire installation at a tire store, I found out I had 5 broken studs (that hold the tires on the car) across 3 of my wheels which is a really bad situation for driving. I called many Brakes Plus locations and they were fully booked, but this location took me in anyway during their busy schedule and was able to fix the problem and in about an hour and a half I was on my way. They were so helpful and I was very appreciative to be able to safely drive home. The store manager was personally seeing that my repair was performed which was very kind of him. Thanks to everyone there! I highly recommend this store!

My car was pulling very hard to the left and I thought something was way out of order... IT WAS... My transmission bolt was missing! My car has been through repairs, oil changes etc... Nobody else caught it! Not only did they help me, but found the correct bolt and did the alignment!! Great team and amazed with their attention to detail!!

We are on a long trip and our brakes started grinding and screeching. I called them just before close they said if I could come in at 8 when they opened they could give us an inspection even though they had a full day. I got there a little bit early everyone was very welcoming and great they got the car in and let us know what we needed to get done. After talking to them about our trip and circumstances they were quick to work with us on pricing. Not only are the employees here amazing and go above and beyond but another customer overheard us talking and paid for our repairs. I would recommend this location to anyone, even if you are just passing through and need some preventative maintenance. They saved us and got us back on the road home. Ive been to other brakes plus shops and others have tired to sell me things or tell me my car needs services that i know for a fact it doesnt need but not this shop i went to get new front brakes and they didnt try to upsell me they respected the fact that i knew what i wanted and got it done right the first time. Not to mention they were super friendly!

Ive been going here for years now for oil changes, starter replacement, and other basic maintenance. Theyve always treated me fairly, been friendly, and have done good work on my vehicle.

I had to drive from Colorado Springs to Denver for a job and when I got there, my front wheel started to seize up. I nursed it over to these guys and they quickly figured out that I was completely missing a caliper bolt and the other was loose. They replaced it for me and even did it for free. Awesome guys. I really appreciated them being honest with me and helping me out. Absolutely recommend them.

I just had new tires put on my Toyota Tundra, and the guys at Discount Tire recommended that I go to Brakes Plus for an alignment check as they provide a great service, at a fair price, and very trustworthy. Boy were they right!My Tundras radio antenna had also broken off and the threaded part remained inside the connector. I asked Brian and Kevin if there was anyway to back it out, rather than taking the whole thing apart which would have been labor intensive. Kevin gave it a try and sure enough he did it with a reverse drill! And they didnt charge me a penny for it, where the dealer quoted me $300 to do it!I am so happy I went there and I plan to now always service our two vehicles with them. The funny part about it, is I realized today that they do way more than just brakes! Other than tire replacement and major motor rebuilds, they can do it all just like the dealer, but with a much better price! Any Brian is a real joy to visit with too!

I had a rusty bolt head break off in my license plate holder. I worked on it all weekend, to no avail. I called Monday morning and they got me in quickly and fixed the problem in no time (and for a fraction of the price it would have cost to take to a dealer). I appreciate the friendliness of everyone I came into contact with and their willingness to take care of this job for me.

These guys were amazing, some of the most upfront, kind, hardworking, honest and even funny mechanics I’ve ever worked with. They got me in on very short notice one evening and did my all four brake rotors and pads in that same evening on short notice. On the phone they were caring, professional, helpful and informative. In person they were exactly the same. These guys are truly great and I recommend this place to anyone whether you’re looking for brakes or any other car maintenance.

I have been to this location for many years and the staff always go above and beyond to get my cars in good shape. Towards the beginning of Covid, my battery died. I called them and instead of me needing to call AAA, one of their staff drove over and jumped it enough to get it to the shop. They also fixed a break light for me for free! Excellent customer service and would highly recommend them!

When I’m out in Colorado visiting family I bring my Jeep to this location for oil changes. In early March I was in for a routine oil change and was informed by Tyler that the radiator had a crack and was leaking a small amount of fluid, and the oil housing unit was leaking fluid also. I have an extended warranty on the Jeep but live in Missouri and knew I wouldn’t be able to drive all the way back home to get the work done at my Jeep dealer. Tyler was wonderful to work with! He called the warranty company and handled the entire grueling process of getting the warranty company to cover the repair costs. Without Tyler’s help I’m not sure I would have been able to get the work approved at this location. Tyler definitely went above and beyond his job description on this repair service. I definitely recommend this Brakes Plus location!!

Great people. I have been using the Brakes Plus in Highlands Ranch for years. Always a fair price and they will tell you if service is not needed rather than just charge you for unneeded repairs. Brian and Kevin are outstanding customer service people. They always stand behind their work. I brought something back a year later and it was fixed no charge.

Called ahead of time to discuss if Brakes Plus was comfortable working on a 1970 corvette parking break rebuild and confirmed by Scott they do these all the time. I requested to use caution on the wheel center caps that often get dented when removed/installed incorrectly. Brakes Plus wanted $100 after the free inspection to let me know parts needed to be ordered before they can complete the work at additional cost. When picking up the car from the inspection, I pointed out to Ryan and the Regional manager, Rich, that both rear wheel caps were dented and appear to be installed with a rubber mallet but also questioned a chip in the door glass, but was honest that I could not prove this was caused by Brakes Plus. Rich offered to replace the wheel caps but this was put on hold pending to complete the repair once the brake parts were available. When calling to schedule the next appointment with parts I purchased, Ryan at Brakes Plus said to contact another shop as they are not comfortable in providing the quality of work I expected.Update: Talked again with Rich, the Regional Manager, and Brakes Plus has agreed to complete the repair. I respect the follow up and look forward to changing this to 5 stars once the work is completed for standing behind their initial commitment.

My family has used the Highlands Ranch Brakes Plus for years. The staff here are amazing. If they dont remember our name off the bat, Kevin (the store manager/owner) and the rest of the team at least recognize all of my family and provide friendly, reliable service every time. Although we often do our own maintenance work and many vehicle repairs (weve got an automotive-inclined family), we use Brakes Plus for all the special work that we havent got the tools for. They are some of the most honest, hard-working, and efficient people Ive ever done business with.I recently took in my car to get some suspension work done. They charged me a very reasonable price and had it done the same day! I trust the folks at this store, and always enjoy working with them.

Wonderful! In November I got my front brakes and rotators done by them, at the end of January I would hear my brakes grinding. I called brakes plus and was told to bring it in. They didn’t see any problems and test drove it and didn’t hear the grinding but I assured them I kept hearing it. The man helping me said “ Ok, we will make it right and I’ll put new pads on for you and upgrade the pads as well to premium”. It was such a relief that even though they couldn’t hear it or see any issues they took my word and fixed it for me. I took off work to bring it in and didn’t want to leave there without having them fixed in the case I would have to bring it back again. I appreciated that they valued my time and made it right. I will absolutely be back and I tell all my friends who spend way too much at the dealership to just go to Brakes plus but especially this brakes plus! Very professional and extremely fair.

Brian and his team have always been very kind and easy to work with, they give us a very thorough explanation of what needs to be fixed and they are very understanding about pricing. After being told that I needed to pay 1,200$ for some breaks and a hubcap missing .. I went crawling in their doors and they took care of more then just a routine break change for way less then that. My husband took his car for all around brake replacement and he doesnt drive his car anywhere. He didnt even drive it 500 miles and I drove it from Denver to Georgia and the brakes are grinding. We have receipts with mileage on it when it was fixed compared to now. We will be sending a bill to someone because they should not be grinding with less than 500 miles driven since they allegedly fixed them!!!

I got my brakes replaced here a couple of weeks ago and had the most positive experience. The appointment ran a little longer than I expected but all the men working here were extremely helpful and friendly. My Audi S3 slid sideways into a curb when the road was covered in ice. No body damage, but the undercarriage damage was ugly - bent and cracked wheels, bent tie rods and control arm, massive misalignment, etc. Brakes Plus - Highlands Ranch on Broadway made it all good as new within a day and a half after the insurance approval came in, except wheels, which they do not do. The final price came in exactly as estimated. They took the time to explain and show me all the problems, what parts they had to order, and to answer all my questions. I have taken all my cars there for mechanical problems for years and will continue taking them there.

Brakes Plus was able to quickly diagnose a problem w/ our car thermostat & get it replaced on the same day. They were professional & easy to work with.

They were supposed to charge my a/c unit..a young kid tried to lie to me about my a/c compressor being broke and recommended 1500 dollars worth of repairs. So, I took it to my own mechanic and charged it just fine. I wrote a review and rich had contacted me a few days later and gave me a full refund of my 60 dollars they charged for the freon that was never used.. aside from the young kid they handled themselves very well, and did all they could to make things right.

I dont give reviews very often but I definitely have to share my excellent experience at this location. I ran into a problem replacing my shocks (MacPherson type) as I broke my spring compressor. Called this location to see if they could help and Brian compressed the spring and gave me back the assembled MacPherson ready for me to put back in the car. This guy is super honest! he didnt even charge me for it! we all know how hard (if not impossible) to find an honest mechanic, from now Im taking all my cars there and recommending to all my friends/family as well! I took a pickup I to this business in December for a brake inspection. A call from their manager advised the front brakes required replacement. I authorized repair as a general up sell they offered to do other works most of which I declined. They left the air filter disconnected and did work I did not authorize. Nonetheless I paid for the works. Some 3 months later and around 6,000 miles the brakes failed. Metal to metal. It cost $694.77 to repair in addition to paying for staff to take the vehicle in for repair on a Sunday. Contacting brakes plus they deny liability and offered $99.00. Obviously, there is a difference of almost $600.00 I’m put just on the direct repair cost. I’ve decided to take legal action against Brakes Plus. Brakes should last much more than 3 months and 6000 miles. My experience with this business and their evasive attitude leaves a lot to be desired. Standby for updates on the court case!!!!Brakes Plus asked that I contact their service department by email so that they could resolve this matter. I did that and they ignored my email. Terrible service from a terrible money grabbing company. I will proceed to sue them. I will update this review as it proceeds to court.

I went into Brakes Plus today to get an alignment done on my Tahoe. When they were preparing to do the alignment they noticed a tie rod end was loose and would cause uneven wear on the tire. The normal time to get the tie rod replaced is an additional 1.5 hours, but Brian was very efficient and was able to get the team to do it in only 30 minutes. Thank you Brian!

I have always had positive experiences at Brakes Plus. They take the time to explain any issues and never talk down to me about technical things. This location is great! Super convenient and they get you in and out while still being thorough. Highly recommend.
