I went to Schewels on 9-4-21 to check out their Labor Day sale. A wonderful gentleman by the name of Dave Nyquist greeted me when I walked in the door. Henderson store has a wide selection of furniture to consider. We were shopping for a recliner and found exactly what we were looking for. We were met/welcomed as we entered the store.The staff are doing an excellent job of meeting COVID guidelines.You have great leadership at this store; our shopping experience could not have been any better than it was.

I enjoyed my shopping experience at Schewel thanks to the wonderful staff, the only thing I wish they would do is recognize someone who is a repeat buyer. My living room, bedroom, washer and dryer, and refrigerator have all come from Schewel. Actually 2 living room sets. I will continue to shop at Schewel but they could do more for loyal customers. Loyal since 2008.

Decent furniture, decent payments

Tamara was our sales person and she was most helpful and patient with us in selecting our La-z-boy chair. Excellent experience, excellent service. My wife had a app a few days ago got approved. But sadly to say we didnt have enough credit for what we wanted. We need more of a credit limit and I didnt think I could get credit with them. Long and be held she helped me with the app and got $800 in credit which helped us out tremendously

I will never buy from here again. My living room set are always getting some type of damage either is ripping off or falling apart and called to get them fixed since I bought this type of insurance and called me today to let me know it’s time for them to pick them up and give me a refund. The only reason I am calling them to fix them because we got a type of insurance if there was a type of damage. Last time buying from here. Bad experience!

Schewel In oxford is bad they have the worst customer service. Sales Representatives just sit at a table talking to each other even after my sister told them that this would be a cash sale but he wanted to talk about options and cash discounts on a 1670$ recliner so my husband was quiet put off and said he would not spend a dime in that store, we went to another store he found the same recliner the people working there could not have been more interested in helping, the took time to. Answer all of his questions and addressed concerns about how well the motor holds up in this chair model, it goes without saying that store made a sale that day. The first store goes to poor management, lets face it you can find whatever you want in multiple stores the one thing the can offer over other stores is GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!.

I dont know how you can say I give you such a great rating. The manage that was on duty Monday, September 14, 2020, lied in our faces. We bought a living room suit off the floor and the manager would not give us a discount and I paid cash. If I was white he probably would had. The manage reassured us that he was going to take it off the floor that day and have it wrapped up for pick up. We told him that we would lived in Durham and would be back to pick it up in a acouple of days. Wednesday, September 16, 2020, we hired a mover to pick it up. The living room suit was still on the floor. I hate a lier Schewel Furnitue Co. We had to pay the movers extra because of YOUR MANGER LIES.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. Someone spoke to me as soon as I walked in.I purchased a recliner from them and wasnt sure if I could pick it up the same day. They were so nice about letting someone else pick it up for me.

The salesperson was very nice and friendly and he helped me with what I was looking for as well as show me other pieces. The staff took care of all my needs in a nice curtious way.

I would not even give this store one star. My fiancé and I purchased a mattress fromThem little over a year ago, the mattress had to be replaced 6 months in, the mattress they brought to replace it was not of equal value or name brand as our other was. (Other was discontinued, no wonder! it was trash)So we asked for them to replace it again ( to think they advertise this stuff as quality furniture) they came out and claimed it was not replaceable, there is clearly a hole big enough in the middle of the bed that a bolder could lay in. He stated where it gathered was normal in the center. I call bill on that because I know people that have had a king mattress for years and it still in good condition. A manger promised to come to our home and he was a no show, no phone call or anything spent our whole day waiting on him. All we want is our money back and I can promise you we will never buy anything from here again, you pay 1500 dollars for something you think will last, and what do you get a 1500 dollar piece of junk.

I purchased a sofa in July. A week later after the sofa was delivered the sofa started to fall apart!!! I called the store to give them the details. A month went by with no call back from the store! I called Back the lady that answered the phone told me that they where behind schedule due to COVID, and there technician only comes ONCE A MONTH! So I have a sofa that is falling apart and I don’t know when are even if I’m going to get it fix!!!!!!

Do not purchase any mowers from this store. I purchased a riding mower for around $1600, only two months later after 3 cuts had to take it to a shop. GOOOO to Lowes or Wal-Mart my advice. Beware!!!!!!!!

I had the worst experience the Manager Threaten to send me to court on Tuesday when I just got my furniture the same week all for a misunderstanding on their side. I will never be coming back to this place where all they care about is their sales and not their customers. This place will be picking up furniture from my home that has already been used. Everyone please be careful you dont know if you are buying new or used furniture from them specially with this pandemic going on now.

Sales people are right up on your heels in Henderson- but friendly and helpful when needed. But the salesman in Oxford is so lazy, rude, and selective about to whom to provide assistance. Prices marked up way to high, even with so- called BIG sales.

I purchased a lazy boy recliner over a year ago. The undercarriage broke on side i contacted schewels in Henderson and spoke with Charles the SM, he calmed me down and in two weeks my recliner up and going. They were very respectful to me and were more then happy to please me and understood my concerns about the product. I purchased a living room set, and in about 3 months the whole side of my loveseat was broke, and the set was sinking. I had to contact the store numerous times in order to get a call back about the furniture being repaired. Once the furniture repair guy came, he said it would take him 6 hours to fix which was unacceptable. I contacted the store manager and he told me he would call me back. After a week waiting and calling back, I was contacted by the credit manager, that told me I could come down and pick out something out. This means potentially finding something out of my budget, so I wanted them to pick up the set. I had to call the store back numerous times to get the store manager on the phone and to agree to pick up the furniture. Now they are saying that I have to pay the Credit Worthiness, when I only got it for my living room set, and that I couldnt return my end tables and rug even thought I got it for the living room set that I no longer have. When asked for an updated account information, they stated that they were unable to provide, so now I have to pay on something that i dont know what is going to what. I have been shopping at Schewels many years, but after this experience I can guarantee I will NOT be back.Update: I wanted to say that Schewels was able to handle my complaint with the help of corporate getting involved. So I thank you corporate for ensuring that customer service comes first.

I have gone to Schewels in Henderson several times over the years and purchased furniture. They never disappoint me with bad customer service. I just went a few days ago to buy my son a living room suite and they, as always, were very personable and fast and attentive to my needs.
