I experienced an urgent eye issue. I called the office and was given an appointment for the same afternoon. Dr. Stuart recognized the severity of my eye diagnosis and took the extra steps necessary to get me into see a specialist the same afternoon. The office team was caring and ensured there was coordination of care to allow for the best outcome for my eye care needs. This was my second visit to Shepard Eye Center and both experiences have shown the care team exhibits professionalism and respect for patient needs.

My first experience was absolutely perfect. From check in to check out. They treat you with dignity and respect. The staff is extremely friendly but more importantly knowledgeable! They’ve got it down to a science. The doctor was kind and reassuring. I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Shepherd Eye Center. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Low waiting time, friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff, explained what was happening and why at all points of testing. After all tests were done the Doctor arrived to explain what the problem was with my eyes and relived my fears of possible vision loss as I had turned 70 on my last birthday. He explained fully what needed to be done and his staff set up a procedure date within 7 working days of testing. I waited until after my first eye procedure was done before completing this survey as I felt that was the true final word of my testimony. I was absolutely amazed at the speed of the procedure itself and even more after the results later that day. I COULD SEE SO CLEARLY IN THAT EYE that I cried. I could see the street signs, read billboards and the colors were so vibrate everywhere I looked. I cant wait until the really bad eye is fixed so I can truly see the world, my family and friends

My visit to Shepherd Eye Center went very smooth. They have improved the check in process which was so easy and Im not a tech kind of person. The wait was not very long at all. My Doctor examined my eyes, she was very thorough. The entire staff was very friendly. I wont go anywhere else for my eye care.

I was there for my annual checkup after cataract surgery. I was midway through the process, ready for dr. examination. This man enters the room where I am sitting and closes the door. I had no idea who it was, as I had earlier assumed that my doctor was going to be a female. As he leaned over me, I realized he was the doctor. NO HELLO, NO INTRODUCTION. He finished the exam, and offered some advice about a rash around my eyes and told me that there was no need to update my gasses. The only way I was to confirm who it was, was by a name stamp, Dr Bradley Stewart at the bottom of my prescription copy.

Have eyes tested yearly and for many years at Shepherd Eye Center. Dr Theodosis removed one cataract for me. I am very pleased with his level of care each time I go. The staff are always very pleasant.

Dr Brian Alder is the best and he knew just how to help me. Very kind and caring man. Helped me feel at ease and answered every question I had with all honesty and in a very nice manner.Ill keep my follow up with him in 1 year.One Cool Guy and VERY Professional.

Some of the front desk staffs level of tolerance is low, especially in a setting where majority of their patients are seniors who may need extra assistance. I witnessed patients seeking help they didnt get, over heard complaints from patients as well. The Woman helping me was rude, over talked me and acted as if she would rather be some place else. Maybe she should. Taking my business, cash and insurance to Rampart, where their attitudes are better. Good riddance and Im happy to not have received service here, I dont want to be around that energy.

The optometrist at this location on Horizon Ridge was nothing but rude. My wife tells him that a or b she cant tell the difference their both blurry, he tells her pick a or b and knock this off. He is nothing but a piece of garbage and thats being nice.

Dr. Cassen and the entire team were absolutely great. Friendly, informative and patient through the whole process. One of the best experiences I have had with regards to my eyes. Well done!

We visit the horizon office the worst front desk, didn’t look like they have enough ee / tec working . Doctor Hanson is great after the two test they perform the wait for the doctor was Less than 8 mints . Total time in the office more than 2 horas . I will never be scheduling in the office ever . The worst . 🤮

It was the first time I visited the Center, as I am a new resident in the area. I found the staff to be very professional and attentive. Dr. Theodosis examined my eyes and answered all my questions. It was 2 + years since my last eye exam and I wanted to see how the cataract had progressed and if my prescription needed some changes. He answered all my questions. I did not feel rushed. I will definitely visit again.

Dr Alder is very through and takes time to explain what is going on with the eye exam. He set up a referral and within the week of my appointment i was contacted and had an appointment with the referral doctor.

Dr. Sean Hansen saw me the first day his office was open after I scratched my eye over the weekend and went to Urgent Care. His staff was very kind to assist me in getting in to see him as I was worried Urgent Care probably wouldnt be quite as educated as a specialist. Dr. Hansen was very friendly, professional and quickly assessed my eye was healing from the scratch. I highly recommend Shepherd Eye Center.

Shepherd is a very professional organization. Staff members are courteous and efficient. Dr. Cruvant is an exceptional Doctor.

The physicians we’ve seen have been excellent. But find another practice if you value your time and greater health. My visit this past week, in an office crowded with people, found me waiting over an hour to see the dr. Who knows why, and especially in this phase of Delta virus build up. And for a simple check of a watery eye problem, not a complete check up.

Before I moved here to Las Vegas four years ago, I needed cataract surgery. From my home on Bainbridge Island in Washington, a friend had recommended Shepherd Eye Center to me and, since my brother had a home here, I decided to check it out. It soon became apparent that Shepherd was a world-class treatment center. I applied as a patient and was fortunate to be assigned to Dr Stephen O. Hansen. My surgeries were very successful and my follow-ups suggest that my treatments are nothing short of being praiseworthy for which I am truly grateful.

I really like them. I had them see me last minute due to flashes in my eye. Dr was very nice. He took the time out to answer all my questions & did not rush the apt. He also did a couple more test to make sure he was not missing anything. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent doctors and I really appreciate the process that they use to move through the eye exam. It is easy, efficient and effective and allows me to move on with my day. They also provide a variety of options for eyecare and present them clearly. Its easy to get and change an appointment if necessary. Very unusual here in Nevada.

I had cataract surgery in both eyes (about a month apart). The operation is painless, takes about 10 minutes, and they give you some happy juice to reduce anxiety. Results for both eyes were great. I am now driving without glasses for the first time in 65 years! Dr. Eisenburg was graduated Summa Cum Laude (highest honors) in his class and really knows his stuff. Highly recommended.

Expect a 2 hour appt. I went in for a routine eye exam, which normally takes 45 min max everywhere else I have gone. They do have a small sign near the waiting room that indicates eye appointments take around 2 hours, but that would have been helpful to know prior to making an appointment and already gone through the first steps of my appointment. I was taken to three different rooms and the waiting time in between was horrible. They are booking way too many people at a time and making everyone wait, and honestly do not care. I will never go back, and unless you have plenty of time to waste, don’t bother.

My son is a new patient in this clinic, we were referred by his pediatrician. Our experience was horrible! The medical assistant was rude and the Dr. Rovitt shouted at my son 3 times because he is not opening his eyes. This doctor should not be in pediatric practice. He is impatient and rude! My son is only 3 years old and his 1st time for a visual check-up! Overall experience was horrible! We will not go back to this clinic and Ive told my family and friends to stay away from this clinic! Even 1 star does not deserve this clinic!

I went to Shepherd Eye Center for Cataracts. Dr. Raymond Theodosis is the best! My experience at the Eye Center & especially Dr. Theodosis was the extraordinary. They talked with about lens choices and procedures & made sure I understood everything. I highly recommend Dr. Theodosis & Shepherd Eye Center.

I was in Henderson on vacation visiting a friend and I got an eye infection. I called Shepard Eye Center appointments to see if they coukd talk me as a walk in. No problem! When I got the location in Henderson it was a great experience all the way through. Clean, professional and very efficient. Dr. Cassen was incredible and took care of me right away. Thank you all so much!

Each of the staff I met were courteous and professional. My questions were answered and was told at each stage what to expect... as well as approximate wait times. It is a large clinic so as you move from one technician to the next for each stage of the exam there is wait time. My total appointment was 2h 30m but after it was all done I felt it was well worth it. Bring along something to read! The visit with the doctor was most informative, and I felt each member was willing to take as much time as I needed to ask questions and get answers, so yes ti was a good experience.

Dr Adler is an excellent trained cornea surgeon who did his training at the bascom palmer eye institute in miami. Its on the same par as the mass eye and ear. Great staff. Highly recommend

Entering henderson location is a huge turn off. Much like visiting DMV. Keosk or QR code ONLY to sign in. No sign in sheet. So stand in line at Keosk and it ate my drivers license immediately. However, friendly staff, all under pressure kept it together. After a very long wait time it was just ok. However The doctor in my case was fantastic.

Taking over 2 hours for an eye appointment without even picking out and ordering glasses is unacceptable!!! A sign stating you will be waiting 30 to 40 minutes after you scheduled appointment greets you when you enter. REALLY!!?!!!?!!? That is ludicrous and rude!

Have been a Shepard Eye client for years. both for regular exams and cataract removal. All professionally accomplished both with procedures and caring

Ordered prescription sunglasses first week of May. Supposed to be ready in 10-14 days. They came in ..... with the wrong lens color. Sent them back. Theyll be ready in 5 days. Never happened. Called back the following week. They were ready, but got scratched somewhere between their little factory and their shop. I unfortunately lost my cool over the phone. I was told theyd be done earlier this week on Monday. No word. I just tried to call. No answer. Voicemail. Already bought 2 other pairs. Had them same day. Still out $300.00 until this is fixed. Buyer beware. Just when you think what could go wrong????

Ive used Shepherd Eye Center since I move to Las Vegas in 2004 and find all the personnel and doctors extremely polite, efficient, and competent. I always feel comfortable in knowing theyre at the top of their profession.

The service and care I received at the Green Valley Surgery Center was wonderful. My appointment was on time, the front counter signed me in efficiency. The prep area nurses were efficient and pleasant. They talked and laughed with the other nurses which helped relax me. The actual surgery went like clock work. Very pleased with the whole experience.

Shepherd Eye Center is very well managed for the optimum customer experience. When Dr. Cruvant finished with my exam, she asked if I wanted my prescription electronically forwarded to the eyeglass section. I said no, but changed my mind later. A clerk at the front saw me going to the eyeglass section and forwarded my prescription to keep everything going smoothly. It is little things like that that make everything go smoothly for the customer. Thank you, Shepherd Eye Center.

If you have 3 hrs to spend, its for you! Its a production line of people!I Did FINALLY see Dr which did not even introduce herself. After speaking to her she tells me we can make you a appt to see Dr for this! I said thats what I am here to see you for, she said oh, well I do cataract surgery but not for Shepherd! Omg 3 hrs wasted no results, left with eyes dilated could hardly see to drive. Last time my eyes where dilated I was given dark glasses to drive home with.. This place is the Worst place ever!! There a Joke!!

Great experience though extremely busy. I felt rushed by the technician 😢 she was all business and no casual talk at all. May be a lot better if she was more “friendly” and didn’t convey that she was too busy. MD was awesome and very detailed with her explanation. Took her time to explain everything....Witnessed an irate patient who could not set an appt via your website. She was getting agitated and emphasized to your staff that she does not know how to do it online and your employee, I believe, didn’t extend extra effort to diffuse the situation. She could have tried her best to help the patient who was so upset bec she needed surgery but didn’t know how to schedule online.I am in customer service and I was extremely disappointed that your employee was not helpful at all.

Some time you have to wait for long time to see the doctor, after one testing the other and wait and wait . i think waiting time is longer than actual performing time. other wise every body is very kind

Every person I encountered here was friendly. This is probably the most sanitary place I’ve visited during this pandemic. Before I could even get out of the car a congenial gentleman was outside greeting me to take my temperature and asked me a couple of questions. I told him I had recently had surgery and he took my forms and help me to sit down. He checked me in at the front desk himself. When my name was called to go to the next step, the person who called my name asked me to hold on a moment while she sprayed down and sanitized the seat I was sitting in. The assistant who did a pre-exam on my eyes was nice, quick, and knowledgeable. When I saw the doctor, he made a recommendation on what type of glasses I needed and asked me if I agreed. Then I decided to order my glasses through the vision center there that is affiliated with Shepard Eye Center. The process was quick, the selection was vast, and the glasses were a nice price. I’m so happy I went Shepherd Eye Center!

I love the Shepard Eye Center, Especially, my doctor, Bryan Alder, MD. I have suffered for years with a problematic right eye, caused by a number of surgeries by other caterack surgeons. This made doing anything to reconstruct a risk. Finally Dr. Alder agreed to do the surgery. I needed a lense removed from in front of the iris, a new lense inserted behind the iris and sutured, and finally a corneal transplant. A lot of work for a 76 year old eye. How can you thank a person who has restored your vision. I dont know, but I am telling everyone I can about my miracle surgery.

This is the best place for your eye care. Everyone is courteous, helpful and understanding. One thing to note, they need to turn down their air conditioning.

I have been lucky enough to have Raymond Theodosis, M.D. as my doctor at Shepherd. Dr. Theodosis is thorough, explains things well, and has a down to earth manner. He makes it easy to ask silly questions. With my Dry MD I feel very secure with Dr. Theodosis as my physician.Shepard staff is very professional, knowledgable, and cordial. I am very grateful for Shepard Eye Center.
