I am a long standing customer of My Eye Doctor at this location although I had not been for awhile. I went in and there was a new staff. I was reluctant to stay feeling the loss of one of their Great employees who Always went the extra mile to assist me with glasses. I had the privilege of having Becky assist me. Talk about some kind of AWESOME! She was sympathetic understanding My feelings of grief for her former coworker and patient as I was unsure of how to proceed. She also was So very knowledgeable about my insurance making me aware of how to best utilize my benefits. The Doctor was also no slouch taking the time to thoroughly educate me about my eyes, what he was doing and why. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to a Friend and did! I sent a coworker who was equally as pleased with the service she received. Go there you will NOT be sorry.

Great experience all the way around. Everyone was helpful and very knowledgeable. My family had successive appointments, and Dr. Burwell was expeditious and explained everything in detail. The staff was very helpful while we were pickng out glasses. It was our first time buying glasses, and they made it very easy. We will definitely be back!

This place is definitely worth a 5 star rating. They are fast and work with you to fit whatever needs you need met. However, recently their customer service has been horrible. Ive been coming here for quite some time and have never been spoken to the way I was with one of the new male receptionists. Was not helpful at all and should not be answering phones if he cant be polite.

Caitlin is so sweet and helpful she deserves 5 stars she very smart and great at her job and her staff is very friendly also they have a wonderful selection of glasses its jus overall a great place to go for an eye exam

I initially posted a star rating without explanation. Since a response was made from the owner requesting additional feedback, and in order that this review may help others make an informed decision, I will share my experience. I have been coming to this location since the 1990s; my whole family has. I have had wonderful service when the business was owned by Dr. Robert Allen, and good service from all of the eye doctors who have taken over until I was seen by Caitlyn Burwell. She insulted my previous doctors, all of whom I liked and respected, even the ones that work for her company. She asked a lot of strange questions without any explanations: Do you wake up in the middle of the night with headaches? Do you get headaches when you enter a bright room? Do you rub your eyes a lot? No. No. No. I still dont know why she would think or ask any of that. She never explained even after I told her I was frustrated at her failure to provide any explanations. She also insulted me by saying I must want to wait for migraine headaches rather than order new glasses when I dont wear glasses: I was there for my contacts. I ordered the contacts that she said would take a few days to arrive, but I finally had to let her know I wasnt going to be a client of hers. I have been calling for over four weeks to find out when my contacts would arrive. I called last Thursday and one of the contacts had shipped. I called today and they had arrived, but it was closing time so I would have to wait. Didnt you get a text? they asked. No, I didnt.

If I could I will leave them a 0 star I went to them on April 16, 2019 thats when the nightmare begin I was just going to them to get a regular eye exam because I had pain in my left eye Miss Cathily Burwell told me I need Surgery on my eyes so she set me a appointment up with Duke eye doctor they specialize in eyes they gave me a full eye exam they told me I dont need surgery you got 20/30 vision and they also said you dont need eye glasses and Im so glad I did not need surgery because I did not had no insurance I was looking around for insurance thought I need surgery but I find out I did not need eye surgery Beware of this doctor she is a scam she will make your life living hell!
