The worst pharmacy experience I have ever had. It is Friday, my doctor sent in a prescription last Sunday. I have been to the pharmacy twice already as they fumble the prescription and have to go back again today in hopes of picking it up. I would like to know it is finally ready after a week but after several minutes with the phone system jacking me around I will drive over again and play waste-my-time at Walgreens in hopes the RX is ready. If it is it will be my last RX at Walgreens. Unfortunately there is not a rating below 1.
The employees here have the worst communication! The pharmacy department will tell you that you don’t have a prescription when you do. Most recently I had a package delivered there with the FedEx drop off. It was delivered there Friday. I attempted to pick up my package 7 times and kept being told it wasn’t there. I finally got my package 4 days later after speaking with a manager just to find out it really had been there the Entire time! This was after contacting the shipper and delivery service numerous times. Were the other employees trying to keep it for themselves or what? Where is the effective communication and active searching for the customer’s needs here?!
First I have to say I loath Walgreens, period. Would not use a corporate pharmacy unless in an emergency situation. Personally use a local privately owned pharmacy here in North Carolina. However, I want to leave a review for the staff at this particular location. More specifically an intern named Karen. She was instrumental in helping me pay for my brothers medications without being there. It took close to 4 hours of my Saturday morning calling Walgreens customer service, going to my local pharmacy and taking up valuable time by the actual pharmacist who also called this location, trying to add my credit card information to my brothers profile so that his medications (needed to live after post of heart surgery) were available to be picked up. There is a significant lack of communication between Walgreens corporate and field pharmacies. I was told one thing by customer service and “it use to be that way” by the local pharmacy. The Walgreens app is fantastic but where there is a breakdown is the process in which to build and verify a profile. My brother isn’t tech savvy so I built him a profile. He had to call and enter an activation code in order to verify it was him. Who can do that if they just got out of the hospital and living alone, miles from family? He attempted to do this to no avail. Bottomline, I could have sent him money via a cash app but we needed to just pay his damn bill! Why was it this hard to add a credit card to him profile? Ridiculous. Karen, thank you for your patience, compassion, and understanding. You exceeded the expectations! God speed!
I would give 0 stars if that was a choice. The pharmacist was busy showing an unmasked customer how to order a supplement online from Amazon to even greet or help customers waiting to have RX filled. The clerk said that my diarrhea Med could not be filled because it had a controlled substance & was originally filled in New Orleans, so they could not filled across state lines. That was a different RX from a separate doctor. The Rx I tried to fill was originally filled in Natchez, Ms ... in the same state. The pharmacist, Rhonda Vinet still refused to fill it & insisted that they don’t have to refill RXs from other Walgreen’s. She wrote a note to my Dr. which will not be received to Monday. It Saturday evening & I have one pill. I said to her thanks for your concern about my health, in which she replied, “well I have cancer”?!? I thought we were talking about my health concerns not hers. My reply was ... well I’ve had cancer, too. I went to other Walgreen’s, but there pharmacy was closed. I waited on hold 16 minutes driving back to the 49 location to get her name & license number. The manager on duty laughed about the situation, refused to give me her license number all while talking with me with his mask below his nose. I will have my RXs transfer to Walmart. As I write this, I have waited 40 minutes on hold with Walgreen’s corporate customer service. This business care about money not the health of patients. I will be taking action against this corporation, the pharmacist & the store in 49. My health should be their priority. Happy Mother’s Day... without my meds, they’ve ruined mine!
The Pharmacy customer service was the worst in the drive through today! The young lady was so rude asking me to come back through the line just to check the price of my 2nd prescription. When I refused she stormed away. When did Walgreens become so focused on clearing out the line rather than focusing on the customer thats staring you in the face? I miss the friendly pharmacy staff.
Just like this place
At the last minute, my son and I realized that we needed some photos printed for my mothers 77th birthday, and the nearest 24 hour Walgreens was 39 miles from her home, but when your mom/gran is turning 77, you dont think about the time of night or the traveling distance. As we drove to this location, I used the Walgreens app to upload my photo order, and these gracious employees had them ready when we arrived. They didnt even mind printing another photo for us even after we arrived. We were welcomed with a smile and asked what they could do to help. They were the most hospitable, attentive, accommodating, and knowledgeable employees that I have ever encountered, ESPECIALLY at 1:00 AM.My family and I have always preferred Walgreens, but after this visit, I can guarantee that we will NEVER use any store other than a Walgreens location.
This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. $35 for one month of amlodipine. I pay $4 for the same prescription at my hometown grocery store. Shame on you Walgreens. I will never shop there again
Best Walgreens Ive ever used, hands down. Fantastic customer service. Staff is always extremely happy and willing to assist you. Pharmacy staff is the best in the area. If you have prescriptions that need to be filled use this Walgreens. Itll be the best experience youve ever had.
Staff (namely pharmacists) are really nice and helpful. The only issue I have is, the pharmacy used to be 24 hours, now only the store is.
Their speed has greatly improved. We had stopped using them because it would take an hour to get our prescriptions filled. The last couple times we have been was because our normal pharmacy was closed so we jad to, but it took maybe 15 minutes this time.
Very busy store, sometimes the line to check out is long. Its right on hwy 49 though, which makes it very convenient. Super busy pharmacy, but the line usually moves quickly because they typically have enough staff working.
I would leave no stars if I could. Worst pharmacy staff ever. I called and asked how long my prescriptions would be, I was told 30 minutes. I waited an hour. I’m single mom with two kids and the last thing I wanted to do sick was fight two kids in line at the pharmacy. I get in there, there was one person in line. Ok great. All is going well. I get up to the window, my prescriptions were not ready. She told me thirty minutes. I told her I was told on the phone they would be ready in thirty minutes and it had been an hour. She got all snippy and said she was just informing me how long it would be. I said “ok and I’m telling you what I was told”. I asked her if they had even started on mine and she never would give me an answer and was so rude. I ended up leaving empty handed. The employees at the front of the store are not like that. I don’t know if it’s lack of management or just bad employees, but I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Went in to get prescriptions, took twice as long as what they said and I had to go inside to get them to tell me that they were done when they took my number down and said they would call. Techs were real short with everyone that was there including the ones talking on the phone, not a real good experience
Extremely rude cashier at front of store. Did not ask me for Walgreens card then acted like I inconvenienced her when I remembered and asked her to ring it up again. It was literally 4 items. I am broke and needed my discount. She stood there with her arms crossed and rolled her eyes after she paged the manager over the intercom. The line steadily grew as we waited. After a few minutes, I decided it wasn’t worth keeping 10 other people waiting in line and paid just as the manager walked up. Again, the cashier acted super put-out and made a face and sarcastic comment. I worked in retail for years and understand people have bad days. But this was HER mistake for not asking me for my card upfront. Will be picking up my meds from drive through only and won’t be buying any other products in that location from now on.
This Walgreens has great staff and usually has any and every item I come for. This is my quick go to store for 90% of my needs. This store is a daily stop for my wife and I.
I was served fast and every one was nice
I use Walgreens, for all of my photo needs. I have been very pleased with all of my projects that I used them for. The employees are very helpful.
My medicine was call in at 49 and Hardy Hattiesburg ms told them my discount call was on file they charged me full price and when I called them they hung up on me so dont go there
Good service and nice lady at the counter who always says hello when I need my prescriptions.
They have what you want in store. It is clean and the staff is awesome! I collect points often with my visits.
Worst ever...everytime I go there are major problems...sent my mom to get my sons prescriptions..only sent one...when I called about the script they told me they didnt have it in stock and kept the prescription without letting her know they didnt have it...now this is another trip I have to take to go get the prescription back...jst awful awful place
I at this time do not have transportation,And so I borrowed someones vehicle to pick meds up for someone else in the car. I was at the pick-up window for approx 20 minutes and saw employees in the store, no one addressed anyone in drive thru; there was 2 lines forming, poor customer service experience. I was so very disappointed, people need their meds, and to disregard customers is totally unacceptable. I pulled off and let a person not feeling well go in and stand in a long line, that I saw forming inside.
I always enjoy this store, easy in and out. The store is always clean and manned by kind, considerate and helpful people.
I shop here when they have a good sale on certain items
The pharmacy techs are really rude and ignorant especially the night shift. There is always a problem picking up our medication
Slowest friggin pharmacy Ive ever had to deal with. No matter what time I go, they are always slow!
Rude Customer Service, The Front of The Pharmacy and The Back. Long Waiting Lines @ The Drive Thru & Also Inside. No Delivery Services are Offered @ This Particular Walgreens at least thats what I was told. Im disabled without transportation.
Its my place to shop great deals
Mmm drugs nomnom JK. Opened late and good when you have a stomach cramp attack like at 1am
Good customer service but the medicine was wayyyyy over priced if you dont have insurance that pays for it. $120 for antibiotics. No thank you.
I like the nice things
Bathroom was filthy. Yes I understand how they get that way, but on more than 3 occasions dirty
I like that this place is open 24/7. Mom made me do a 4:00 am Alleave run and I felt like dying but this is better than dying.
They are seriously concerned with people stealing here. They keep the store nice and clean and friendly service.
The cashier Sheamus asks me really uncomfortable questions every time he is working and hold us the line. Its taken me more than 30 minutes to check out more than twice when he is working because he is so awful at his job and I have been personally harassed and he has refused to check me out when I ask him not to ask me questions. I shop there every day almost and every time he is working I get anxiety because he makes it so uncomfortable. I will not be shopping there again.
Slowest customer service ever. You can expect to wait in line at the pharmacy for a minimum of twenty minutes. As much money as they charge for these medications you’d think they could afford another cashier.
Very friendly and accommodating employees
I love this store..
It was clean, but the customer service wasnt great. It was hard to find someone to help me.
I always come here for my kids medicine
Some of employees friendly acouple are rude
A bit expensive but have g rest deals sometimes.

Filthy nasty

Worthless,
Went inside to fill my prescription and had no issues! Very nice staff, and they called me to ask if I had any questions as I’m new to this store.
