I would give this 0 stars if I could. My friend who is an active duty member and just came back to the states and was racially profiled at this store for bring in her own bag since she does not use plastic bags. While shopping she was attacked and had the shopping bag yanked from her arms. While she tried to explain that it was a shopping bag the employee continued to harass and yell at her. I am baffled especially with everything going on in our country. I would completely avoid this place if you are black. There are black owned beauty supply stores that need our money.

🆘️ save yourself the misery unless you just cant stand going without your one dollah eyelashes.Well, I did it.... I have this place a 2nd chance. I went in for my 2nd visittoday. Last time I spent over a buck fiddy.The 2 owners/ associates (same man and woman each time) were rude AF the 1st time. I figured it was a bad day, or perhaps a difference in cultures or language.I hadnt been there in almost a year.Today I went, intending on purchasing at least 2 wigs (not cheap). I was trying to ask about the policy in trying on a couple of wigs I was interested in. Both she and he 🙍🏻‍♂️🙍‍♀️were both Very very very rude!*did I mention- VERY?*👎🏼It seemed as if they did not want to help or sell.Mind you, ive worked retail and customer service and im a very polite person. Additionally, I was wearing a business dress, stockings, heels, hair and makeup on point. In other words I wasnt just crawling in there in my grunge wear or pjs looking like I couldnt spend a buck.I almost walked out because of the rude treatment!However, I was on a mission. I did spend over $170 there today.They treated the 2 teens that came in cussing up a storm better!I always give 2nd chances. This was theirs. I do NOT give 3rds!🚩🚩I put back all of the things in my basket and only purchased 3 things. I did spend near $200 that day however, they lost approximately an additional $140 in sales from the items I put back because of their stinky 🤭 demeanor and lack of common etiquette. 👎🏼

Basic items Im sure you will have no problem. I have shopped here before. Their prices for wigs are expensive their is maybe a 10 to 15 dollar difference compared to other BSS in Hampton. I never had a problem until I purchased a Perm and it did nothing. I was suspicious because I had zero burning or stinging which you might think is good and believe me it is however its rare and anyone that has ever applied a perm know this. I was surprised but happy. Then I noticed my hair was still the same. It was not doing NOTHING!!!!!! I was shocked first because I have never had anything like this happen with my prior purchases. I looked at the jar to see if it expired, if I could find something to explain what happened. Then I Googled to find info NADA next direct to company. I sent them pictures and they asked if I could pack it up and send back and include the receipt. It didnt have enough info so I provided debit card transaction. The conclusion the company found it was not a perm and nothing they have ever produced. It was a mixture of cream conditioner and cookingshortening. It was not just mine. It was one of counterfeit items reported. The other counterfeit reported perms all matched and consisted the exact contents. I learned BSS are not regulated. There are no inspections to prevent this from happening. They inspect beauty salons but not where you would buy haircare products. We have no idea how long a product has been on the shelf. They also sell higher price point items. I am highly disappointed that of all the places I have shopped here I never would have expected this. So I know my review is long but I needed to make others aware.

Very friendly and helpful, kind of cramped. They have an awesome selection of wigs and products that I cant find at other beauty supply stores.
