The store is small but they have a nice selection. You can find their top brands for makeup, accessories, fragrances and beauty aids. I purchased liquid foundation and concealer and a creamy blush,as well as a liquid eyebrow definer and setting powder for $168.00 USD. I had to ask for samples and received some nice fragrances and a face cream.

Kendra, one of the managers, is absolutely lovely. Shes been helping me for years and always does so patiently and kindly. She knows her stuff. Every time I come here I have a great experience with these ladies. Thank you!

This location Never has the shelves stocked. There are always products missing!! Every time I visit this store they’re out of the one thing I want. An eyebrow brush!! On top of the FACT that it is dirty and dusty. I wouldn’t dare use the makeup samples! They look as if they hardly switch them out or maintain any cleanliness in the store as a whole. Customer service is not that great. The sales associate didn’t ask me for my rewards information and just went on to give herself my purchase points. I realized this after I left the store and looked at how much money I spent for such a 1 star experience today. Step it up ladies!!

I went in here just to grab an item quickly and when I was checking out, the associate barely said a word to me. Didn’t even tell me my total.... i prefer the Sephora at the Patrick Henry mall much better.

This is the WORST SEPHORA ever!! The treatment I received was unbelievable. Rude employees that refused to even acknowledge my presence. And to make matters worse their make-up skills needed serious work. I heard the comments they made about customers I just left. Wont be going back I purchased online.

This is one of the WORST cosmetic Stores that I have ever been in. True I do have only a couple of sale ladies that are truly wonderful but still that isn’t enough. The merchandise is NEVER in and the store displays are in such a disarray, fifty, missing labels and just plain nasty. Customer service is a joke. I wish that I was an undercover Boss!!!!!!

My mom received the worst service today.She was matched for makeup Multiple times then was was told to apply it herself.The Sephora associate said she would return in a second helping another customer an my mom waited an she never came back to help her.My mother precede to shop.She then was ready to check out with all her products an my mom waited an the lady never came back my mother left the makeup on the counter an left mad because she really wanted it for Christmas.I am very disappointed because i shop here all the time But sadly this has happened to me before an i will not ignore it again.This was my go to Sephora But now i do not recommit this location to anyone because of there poor customer service. I Love Sephora But If this continues to happen i will have to reconsider my options.

Love this place. I spend way more than plan to, the place is like walmart. I go in for 1 thing and buy basket full of stuff.

Stopped in because i needed the right shade of lipstick and figured i would try the JC Penney. What a great SEPHORA they had everyone was helpful and attentive really great customer service and a great overall shopping experience plus they had just what i was looking for!.

Service was nothing like going to an actual Sephora store in the mall,4 times service was awful! Being I’m a makeup lover, I like to be shown products that is how you make money! I’m guessing that they work for JCPenny and don’t work on a commission. So there’s no incentive for the employees to make more than a typical employee for penny stores. They don’t come up to greet you and ask nor help you with finding what you would like to try. They point over to products from behind their register. I didn’t feel welcome like when I’m at Sephora stores that are only outside of JCPenny.They could make a lot more money if their service was better and they actually helped you.

I went there today and asked about a product that I saw on Sephora website, it was 2 ladies(employees) and no customers, they looked at me like I’m nothing and one of them looked at the product in my phone and told me to go look for it in the store cuz she has no idea if they have it or not. They didn’t even help or at least smile.

I was in to return a powered makeup(bareminerals)that was too dark for my face. I was assisted first with a young African American lady which was pleasant. When not finding anymore of the specific powder I wanted, the associate asked another lady Kristin (light green hair) the vibe I felt from this lady when she was answering the other associates question about the specific makeup I wanted was like oh well we dont have it in stead of giving me other options she kept stocking her shelves. I kept looking for something else I could exchange it for, Abby a very kind bubbly young lady helped me in depth until I found what I wanted. She gave me her full and undivided attention. Upon checking out the African american lady that help me before checked me out. I asked her a question about the price during the exchange and Kristin who was checking someone out beside her, cut her off to inform me that since we cant prove what you paid without a receipt the item will be at its lowest price. This lady was very snoody with everything she said to me, and on top of that I wasnt even talking to her at ALL. She made me feel like I was a liar when discussing the price. When asking for this ladys name the young lady that was checking me out would not give it to me. She said I cant do that because she is helping me out she insisted I ask her, so i did. I highly recommend that Kristin is re-trained on the basics of good customer service and how to put together responses to any situation instead of blurting them out not thinking how it sounds when she says it. My family shops here at Sephora and Im sure they would be highly upset to hear about this considering they gave me a gift card to shop at this place. Never again will I be back.

Everytime i go here tgey give me the wrong color of any brand i purchase the first time i went there they lady made me wait 30 mins for her to help me just so should could do her friends makeup and her friend didnt purchase anything then rushed me to pick a item and she gave me the wrong color and they dont care in there they arw not helpful eveytime in go there i atleast spend over 100 dollars atleast help me iam a very patient customer im extremely friendly all i ask is to help me isnt that there job?

This is the WORST Sephora I’ve ever been to. This is my 3rd worst experience at this particular location. Just left this Sephora kind of frustrated. Went in with my work clothes on because I just got off, just restocking on my Nars concealer. Anyways, I had absolutely no makeup on and every time I go, Christina or Kristina, however its spelt is the sweetest person, but the black girl that was also working with her was one of the rudest employees Ive ever encountered while shopping at Sephora who pride themselves on customer service. I smiled at her and said hello and she just looked at me funny. She rang me out and didnt give me a bag, and she told me to take my stuff once the receipt was printed. Im not really sure how she got hired.

I had the most upsetting experience today, February 17, 2013, around 1:15PM, at the Sephora inside the JC Penny. I asked the lady for some makeup advice and in the middle of her ambiguous answer, she literally stops talking and walks over to the cash register to assist another customer. That would have been completely understandable if there wasnt another worker there doing her own make up at the same time! I thought that was extremely rude! Then, the two women kept loudly gossiping about, I assume, one of their mutual friends. How unprofessional! I was just appalled at the lack of customer service that came from these unprofessional, rude Sephora representatives. If Sephora wants to keep getting my money, I expect better service than this!!

I feel this store is kinda of neglected, its always dirty too. Id rather to go to ULTA on Jefferson Ave.

The employees are very rude. They dont even smile or acknowledge you are in the store. And when you ask to sample 1 thing they treat you as if you are bothering them. They really need to hire new people..Im a hairstylist makeup artist myself and I would never treat my customers this way. I will just go out of my way to visit another sephora....

Its pretty big. I know they have Nars, Anastasia Beverly Hills and Benefit Cosmetics, but do they have Bobbi Brown.

No one came to help me when I was looking for foundation and eye makeup. Asked for help and waited since the lady at the desk said one person was ahead. Didnt even finish helping the girl ahead of me and went to the front desk to began talking with her co worker.

Why do certain people have to say a black or African american woman. Just say sales associate. Granted whoever that lady is mightve been rude, but its like every little chance a person gets to throw a black person under the bus they will. Its crazy how the reviews on here dont throw the unprofessional white women under the bus who work there.

This store is nasty and has terrible customer service. For the amount of money people spend in Sephora youd think theyd at least keep it clean. There was trash everywhere and piled up on the testing supplies. So unsanitary.
