I used to live and work in Hagerstown for 10 years and I miss this Firestone so much that I still think of this place fondly. They treated me like family, remembered me, and always took car of each car I had. I could walk across the street to the mall or kohl’s, target or even eat since it was all close. Sometimes I’d watch a movie at the mall while waiting for my car. They always took care of me fast so I didn’t have to do it often but it’s a nice option.If you are smart, you’ll get a lifetime alignment and tires here (on sale of course) and then you’ll have free tire rotation for the life of the tires and free alignment for the life of the car. I also always used the coupons for oil changes. $24.99 or $19.99 is the best deal.The managers and staff were so nice! They always fixed whatever issue I had.One time I had a cracked wheel. They literally showed me how to order the wheel on eBay and then installed it for practically nothing. It really protected my tires from wear.I absolutely love Firestone. I got a credit card with them too. 0% interest for 6 months. It’s great for emergencies. I moved away a couple of years ago. Since then I’ve been to 2-3 other firestones and while they’re ok and friendly, they definitely weren’t as good as this location. If you live here, go to them. They’re really honest and reasonable.
Firestone was not very crowded the day I went in. the people were very friendly and courteous, were able to give me a rotation of tires and an alignment, While I waited. It did not take all day which was great.
Poor prices and unreliable service times. Nothing terrible happened, but I wouldnt waste your time. Find a local shop that actually cares about what its doing and get some decent service. Really not impressed with the quality of service.
They are busy make an appointment. I went to check brakes because of noise but they didnt find anything. They checked the battery and said it was low. I ended up going back the next day to have it replaced. They also changed the connection wire for no extra charge.Very good service.I always trust Firestone with my cars needs since my first car years ago.Plenty of parking and easy access to the entrance. Always check online for coupon deals.
I continued to be a loyal customer after my late husband passed away in 2015 and have been since 2010. I want to thank Shawn Thomas who made every effort to help me reinstate my credit with Firestone since I had not used ir for more then 3 years but needed to due to a large amount in charges. There was an apparent glitch between the credit company(cc) and Firestone . The cc had purge me as a member for inactivity but I was still listed as a mem ber with Firestone so could not renew nor use my existing card. It was frustrating but after close to 2 hours; I want to thank Shawn for his outstanding customer service, perseverance and understanding in solving the problem. I am only giving a 4 star because through the years it has virtually been impossible even with an appointment to get your car worked on where u can wait even if its 3 to 5 hours. There are people like me who just cannot, but have to wait not by choice 🤷 . But thumbs up to all Firestone staff who have given me great service from counter to exit throughout the years.

I spent 3 hours today looking around to get a alignment from multiple shops everyone refused due to my car being low. But the young lady at the counter took me in and within 40 minutes I was in and out. Saw my tech working & he was working quickly & efficiently as he could. Thank you all. Took my companys service truck for tires there all the time years back had no issues. Dropped it off for new tires recently and they said the truck was to big which is bs because they took the same truck years back. They waited to call and say they couldnt take it an hour after I dropped it off
Lets put it this way. The service and mechanics are way better than Hagerstown Ford any day. I rather pay for a mechanic and place that does the job and gets it right.
Firestone in Hagerstown won’t receive another dollar of my money. I recently took my Tacoma there for an inspection it failed for a supposedly faulty rack and pinion / bushings . I took the truck to a certified mechanic he checked both sides of the rack not one single leak, he checked bushings no problem what so ever. The only thing that he found was the rack was dirty from grease which is commonly under a lot of vehicles but that does not indicate a problem. I would recommend using another MD state inspection station it’s obvious either they hope to get more business by identifying problems that don’t exist or they simply are not experienced enough to identify issues which is even worse since their a licensed MD state inspection station. I later learned that this is common practice for this establishment which in my opinion is BS hope they enjoyed my business never again.
My car now pulls to the right which it did not before and they gave me a list of items that is wrong now totaling to $2,000.00. Very disappointed in thia visit for a oil change.

Had to get a state inspection to get our car registered. It seems that getting an inspection isnt as easy as it used to be. No one had an available appointment, but we thought of the folks at Firestone. And, of course, they got us right in. SCAMMERS AND NEGLIGENTI scheduled an appointment for break pad replacement. Got there and I “wasn’t in the system”. Ok no problem they took it anyway. Now my breaks had begun to squeak 2 days prior to appointment so I knew pretty well my rotors were still doing okay. They refused to change break pads without rotors. Even tho I knew it didn’t need rotors. They lied to me about my measurements and when I had my car checked by my mechanic. He assured me my rotors were fine. When you try to charge a 23 year old women for an unnecessary nearly $400 services you lose my business and all my friends. I had them put it back together and left.Update: it’s been three days since I visited Firestone for a free break assessment that was supposed to lead to a break pad change. Today my light for low break fluid came on I checked it and it was bone dry. So not only are they dishonest but also negligent enough to send me on my way without break fluid.

I got 4 tires put on today. I was able to make my appointment online last night, said what kind of tires I wanted and they were able to get me in next day. They were extremely fast and friendly! I was in and out in about 40 minutes AND they didnt try to sell me a ton of other stuff. I will be going back to them for future car repair needs!

Had appointment for today 6/27/20 at 12pm in Hagerstown. Was ready to spend over $500 on 4 new tires. Upon arrival was told there was no appointment for me but we can possibly get you in next weekend. I will be getting tires elsewhere next weekend.

Ive been going to Firestone for years. They have always been honest about the work that needed done. The customer service is exceptional! Sometimes the price is a little more than you might spend elsewhere but for my piece of mind, knowing its done properly is worth it to me. I had taken my first car there ever since I bought it and it ran until 260,000 miles. That alone is enough to keep me going back.
They were super fast. Had my alignment done in 30 minutes when I thought itd take at least an hour, likely three with everything going on.
This Firestone is awesome! If you want exceptional service and technicians who goes above and beyond you have to visit when the manager James is there. You will never be told that we are too busy to service your vehicle..well only when James is there. The morale is totally different when he is managing the staff. You will not only receive incomparable service but he will educate you on the importance of getting the service done. When I leave there my knowledge increases. From this point on, I will get all 3 of my vehicles serviced at this location.
They were great working on my Tahoe. We needed it for a family trip to an amusement park and right before my fuel pump broke. They fixed it without any delay for us! The guy who cashed us out was so polite and knowledgeable about my vehicle.
Went in for mount and balance of 4 tires, out the door within an hour and a half. They were busy too!!

Took my 14 Civic there because it was overheating. After 3 hours testing they determined that my car didnt have leaks nor fan problems, it was okay, so I paid 31 dollars and left. 30 minutes later my temperature light came on again. I had to stop. When I called them the guy said: take it to the dealership, which was closed because it was Sunday. Long story short: my thermostate was bad, 3rd cause of overheating in cars. Not too hard to discover and repair. But they didnt.
I took my jeep in there because I knew it needed tie rods and told them. But they told me they didn’t see an issue with them. So they replaced my shocks that were probably fine and told me i still needed tie rods after replacing shocks. So I almost died driving on the interstate a day later. Still haven’t got it fixed because i cant afford because i paid 875 for them to put on new shocks and they wanted extra 650 for tie rods. They got me real good man... They did get the shocks done fast.

We always take our vehicles here for anything more than oil changes. They are fast, reasonably priced, and straightforward. They warranty their work, and if something goes sideways, they make it right. Highly recommended.
We were coming back from vacation in West Virginia. The battery light came on about an hour outside of Hagerstown. I called a lot couple of other places but they said it would be two hours before they could even look at the voltage. It was a Sunday late afternoon and every place close at 5. I called Firestone and James said he would look at it immediately. We drove there and he put the voltmeter on said that it needed a new alternator. I was kind of expecting that. Thankfully James and the guys stayed late and got the alternator replaced so that we could get home that night versus waiting until the next day. Thank you for a great job and excellent customer service.

I had previously purchased a set of Bridgestone Turanza Serenity Plus for my Infinity I35 and loved them. The ride and performance were great. This time I purchased a set for my Lexus, and it did not work out, so after a period of time and several trips to the shop for balancing and research, I found that the Nylon Ply hardened during cold periods and caused the ride to feel as if you were riding on Wood Wheels. So Firestone (Ryan) was very instrumental in replacing those tires with ones that I was pleased with. Shout out to Ryan, Thank You!
Went to this location when my left rear wheel bearing was going bad. I called on the road to let them know I was coming and what I needed since I was a tech for 7 years. I arrived and they had already ordered the part. Talked to the tech when he had the car apart and he confirmed my diagnosis.I paid a little over 500 to get the wheel bearing assembly replaced. That was August 18th, 2018. Today I was putting my tire chains on and found that the bearing is already bad. Dangerously bad, so I called the location about my concern.Spoke to a nice person but was told that it was out of warranty and they could not do anything about it. I asked if they could contact the supply house to get the defective part covered by their warranty and they said they are not allowed to do it. So basically they are doing nothing for a defective part that is designed to last 100,000 miles and did not last 17,000.What makes this worse is I just got 4 tires at another Tires Plus also owned by Firestone and they did not catch the safety issue. So you have a company that does not stand behind their work or the product they use. And more importantly does not check vehicles over to make sure that they are even safe to be on the road. So I am out the cost of the part and labor for a part that did not last 6 months and a company that does not even try to make things right.Update:Service manager did contact me and did make things right. This was not an issue with the techs but with the part used and the lack of support when a bad product was provided.
I broke down over night and got towed to this Firestone. They got me in first thing in the morning even without an appointment. They were professional and very helpful. Best of all, everything they did was covered by warranty so I was able to get back on the road without a bill!
I came in to have a MD state inspection done. I was informed that there was a part broken on my engine that needed replaced in order to pass the inspection. They brought me to the garage and showed me the part. They fixed it for me and passed the cars inspection. They gave me a paper with 2 recommended things that should be fixed on my car but are not required at the moment. Both the front desk staff and the mechanic explained everything to me and answered all my questions. They were beyond nice and the front desk staff mentioned multiple times that he wanted to ensure that I knew what was going on with my car in order to stay safe on the road and have my car last! I will be back if I need anything else done.
WARNING INCOMPETENCE AHEAD!! A friend of ours took a Nissan van to Firestone @ Valley mall to replace 1 tire. He had to go to Firestone because they were the factory tires that the van came with. When he 1st called he was told that if he dropped it off on a Monday they should have it done by Thursday any week. A senior tech named Corey corrected that wrong info stating as long wether they had it in stock or had to order it the vehicle could be dropped or waited on. so he dropped the vehicle Friday at 4 he then got a call from Firestone stating that the GVW of the vehicle was 8500 therefore it was too heavy to put on their 9000lb lift.!!! Anyone who actually understands that GVW is not the actual weight of the vehicle you can laugh along !! After incompetent and unprofessional conversation with thier AREA MANAGER who claimed thats how they are trained from their corporate trainer. They were asked why cant you use a floor Jack if youre not comfortable putting the van on your lift. The area manager says I dont even know if they have one. So he calls the service center and calls back and says the tech didnt feel safe putting a Jack under the van. So the area manager was then asked if this tech has any training or certification at all and his comment was were not going down that road so he was told that a complaint would be filed with the corporate office and social media and he hung up on the customer !!! WOW !WARNING! DANGER ! I wouldnt bring my childs big wheel here to get a tire change.....
It just took Firestone 33 minutes to change my oil. The timer began the instant the vehicle got onto their maintenance floor. Oil changes should take no longer than 10 minutes which is 5 minutes over what it should really take. This 33 minutes to change my oil was after waiting the estimated 1.5 hours. I believe they need to try a little harder and maybe, just maybe, they will make their customers happy and make more money.

This Firestone always seems like they are short staffed and they take a while to service your vehicle. They either need more technicians or the technicians need to lite a fire under their butts to do the jobs more efficiently.

We stopped in for emergency brake service and were given a parts list and directed to call the Firestone thats near where we are staying. The service guy was very helpful and sympathetic to ur situation.
James was very friendly and helpful to me.I had a nail in my tire about three weeks ago that led to me getting a set of new tires on my car.Today I discovered a screw in my new tire. I brought it back to firestone and they replaced the tire with a brand new one free of charge.James was very helpful and had me in and out in about an hour on a very busy day for them.I never feel like I’m being ripped off here or paying for something I don’t truly need. Highly recommend these guys!
I went here a week ago for an inspection. They changed my front passenger side tire so I would pass. After paying almost $200 dollars a few days later my tire pressure keeps dropping in that tire. We I took it back today they claimed to have changed the front driver tire. Even though I explained that I know it was the passenger because that was the only tire that wasn’t new at the time. They completely tried to rip me off, even after saying that sometimes things like that could go wrong with a new tire. Never again
Super fast service. My previous alignment took 29 minutes. This visit was only 16 minutes, and I was 16 minutes late. They made a fresh pot of coffee for me and the work was completed.

Good tire service. But if u want anything else done like aliment? They didnt tighten the bolts on my 52 f1 after aliment. And were going to charge for an aliment they didnt do. They adjusted toe but not camber.

Made Appt online the night before, dropped off the car and they had my daughters car diagnosis and repairs done, ready for pick up within 2 hours. Very simple and professional atmosphere and very easy to work with. I trust the guys at Firestone with my daughters car repairs.
Been here multiple times and got mixed results. They screwed up the brakes on my work truck, but successfully fixed a bum clutch on my personal vehicle. Had the cheapest price on tires I wanted and successfully installed them without any issues. They quoted me an outrageous price on ball joints and I walked out and did it myself for a tenth of the price. I figure Im not willingly going back here cause its a roll of the dice what service your going to get. Not all bad but not good either. 3 star seems fair.

Christopher Hammock is their Manager of Tire Sales, (whatever that means, Ill never know) and is EXTREMELY INSULTING to my intelligence. (Yes, I know, Im female and still possess intelligence.) He is a mansplainer of the worst sort.Ill NEVER EVER EVER go here again, and I spend thousands of dollars there every year.

My wife took our 2013 VW Tiguan in for a Maryland inspection. They came up with a long list of repairs needed to pass inspection. More than $2,500.00. They couldn’t even find the wheel lock key exactly where she told them it was. My wife called me. I left work came to Firestone. The sales person showed me the inspection list. It was ridiculous. I questioned over half off the findings. He said that these are the repairs needed to pass Maryland state inspections. I thanked him for his time and declined the repairs. I took the car to a repair center down the street from our home. An inspection was performed and the only thing needing repair was the rear brake rotors (which weren’t even on the Firestone report) and New Tires.Firestone tried to take advantage of us because we just moved from another state.

Took car in to have 4 new tires put on, car made no noise prior to this, after tire replacement grinding noise on the way home, now apparently car needs a new wheel bearing. Firestone took care of the mistake, and I appreciate the customer service from the Area Manager, outstanding, been a customer of them for 18 years and will continue to.

Would have rated them a 5 however the last 5 minutes of a 3 hour transaction killed the entire thing. After paying my $900 bill for new tires, an oil change, filter change, front alignment and rear alignment (which i was talked into) the sales professional tried to just add a little more and tell me i needed a new battery. He even went as far to say that he had trouble starting my car. Little did he know that the battery had been replaced less than 6 months prior to that. After leaving, I immediately took my car over to Auto Zone. I had them test my battery and alternator. Much not to my surprise they were both perfectly fine. I was so excited about finding a new Firestone location that was convenient to my new location. I have been a long long time Firestone customer in multiple cities and states. However I will NOT be going back to this location.

Called and they said it would take 2 hrs to complete the work I needed done. Dropped off my car 30 minutes later called me and said my car was done they had put 2 people on it. When in to pay and they charged me for 2 hrs labor. Said to the guy 2 guys for a 1/2 hr is an hr labor right ? Charged me for 2hrs ne way wont return also took as long to charge my Firestone card as it did to fix my car ! What a joke !

I call yesterday asked walking they said not available and asked next day appointment they said come and they didnt make appointment. Today went for service my car, first they said not available after i talk manager and they said 3 hrs waiting.i dont i like there customer service.

I brought a wheel bearing to them to be pressed. I was told they had no way to ring that up so i would have to just tip the mechanic. I tipped him 40 bucks to press 1 bearing and hub. When i cam back i was told the hub or bearing must have been defected because the hub would not press all of the way in. What really happend was the mechanic pressed the bearing in backwards. I now had to buy a new bearing to replace the new bearing they pressed wrong. Everything about this experience was very janky so i dont think ill be coming backUPDATE:The bearing i had them press is now broken again. Looks like the hub was pressed in without the center of the bearing being supported causing the plastic ball bearing holder inside to crack and fail. Thanks firestone

I was pleased to get inexpensive help with a rattling exhaust heat shield.
Workers were very nice. my complaint is the amount of time it took for 4 tires to be installed and an alignment check. checked in at 9:57 checked out at 12:42. I waited at the store, it took 2 hours and 20 minutes just for the tires. he took it around for alignment and 10 minutes later came in and told me my toe was out on right side he was correct i could tell by the wear on old tire. i said go ahead and fix it 10 minutes later it was done. I had to get back to work but had to stop by the house to drop my husband off first. he got out and saw grease on tire i got and looked at all the tires had grease left on all 4 them. not just a spot but all the way around the tires. are you kidding me it took over two hours just for the tires and he couldnt wipe the grease off the tires. that is poor service. I did buy the tires from tire rack and had them shipped there maybe thats why but REALLY I still had to pay for mount, balance, tpms and ailnment. $135.59 for labor and he could not wipe grease off tires. THANKS firestone. I had tire buyer tires installed on my mothers car and it was done correctly the day before. like I said employees i talked with were nice though. NO I was not a walk in I had a 10 am scheduled appiontment
They get the job done, but I scheduled an appointment for an oil change at 2 and after I got there they said it be almost 2hrs. So I was pretty frustrated, their prices are also insanely high. The other time I went there they never called to say my car was done so I went all weekend with no car and then finally called Monday morning and he says “oh yeah it was done Friday around 1”. If it’s an emergency I’d go there, but if not stick to your local shops, they won’t rip you off like this place will.

Just went in at noon on Saturday and they said they were taking no more oil changes for the day. I drove 20 miles from Martinsburg and this is unacceptable. I have 2 Firestone cards but will never visit this location again. Being rude to regular customers is no way to do business.
