Our salesperson Steve and finance manager Justin were phenomenal!!! My family and I went in generally knowing what we were looking for and, with Steves expertise, were able to find the perfect match to both our wants and our needs. There was no pressure, no haggling, no shady dealings. The gentlemen there were very polite and accommodating and I didnt have to wait very long, they were finished a lot sooner then I expected. The waiting area is also very clean and comfortable.

I had a fantastic overall experience with the fine people at Massey Hyundai. Travis was able to answer all my questions over the phone about their 2022 Tucson Hybrid. Went in for my first service, gotta love complimentary maintenance. I get home and look on my ticket and it says 0W16 full synthetic oil when my 2021 Elantra takes 0W20. I called and spoke to Austin he researched this and informed me that it just shows up in the system like that as a generic part number. After a 15 minute phone call my mind was at ease. He let me know everything was ok and answered all of my questions professionally and thoroughly. He will definitely be getting my business in the future. Donnie is also another cool advisor here.

The place is clean and the employees are friendly. Overall, we had a positive experience. They have refreshments and a nice waiting area. I was surprised at how fast the process of buying our car was compared to our last purchase through a different dealership. The price was fair and they worked with us. I had the WORST experience with the service department. I put out a lot of money to get my car fixed and they didn’t fix anything wasted my money wouldn’t recommend anyone getting any car repairs done with them.
My drive bushing broke at the lower steering column. Unfortunately it was out of factory warranty so I knew I was going to pay out of pocket. I called up the dealership and they quoted me $125 plus an $89 alignment, so I scheduled the appointment. When arriving the I was notified the fee is $330 plus an $89 alignment. Upon leaving now my airbag does not work charging me another repair fee to fix.

Unfortunately, the service at this location, does not go out of their way for customers. This is the third time this year I have serviced my car at this location (where I purchased my car) to get regular maintenance. They never have a rental car provided. There is always some excuse of why they do not have them or they are out on engine work. However, they do occasionally offer the shuttle service. Unfortunately, not everyone has set hours or works longer periods of time, where the “shuttle” would not be accessible. This is quite disappointing, when you purchase a car or, go to a place where you are letting them service your car and paying enough money for it.
Kaitlyn did a great job. Professional, friendly and most importantly honest. If she didnt know the answer she asked a coworker and got the answer. If you are looking for a great salesperson to do business with see Kaitlyn.
This is our second Hyundai but the first experience at Massey Hyundai, Bryant Litton was our salesperson he was very professional, we went for a test drive and he showed us the ins and outs of the vehicle, and he was very patient with us, when we decided to finally purchase our new Palisade we did not have to wait for hours to make the deal like we did in 2006 with the other Hyundai at another dealership, thanks to Bryant and his team we are very happy with our new Palisade. At first I only rated Massey a four star but now after a few weeks with our new Palisade Massey has called and texted to be sure that I am happy with my new purchase and have asked if there is anything they can do to make my experience better, when you purchase a vehicle from other dealerships you never hear from them again, not the case at Massey, dont take my word for it if you are shopping for a new Hyundai stop down at Massey Hyundai on Massey boulevard in Hagerstown and you decide

My car engine randomly shuts off, including one time in an intersection where I could have been T-Boned. The shop at Massey said the engine shutting off wasnt an engine issue so it wouldnt be covered by the warranty and I had to pay for everything.The fist visit was a computer scan which revealed no issues. On the way home my engine shut off again.They kept my car for two days, during which they did not provide me with a replacement vehicle and suggested three potential fixes, of course not covered by the warranty, that fixed similar issues in other peoples vehicles. I naively trusted them and accepted the repairs.A few days later my engine shuts off again showing the issue was not fixed. Ive now invested over $900 and the issue continues.I complained and they took my car for an entire weekend, again with no replacement vehicle for me to drive and said nothing was wrong with the car and refused to look at it to find the problem. At least they didnt charge me this time...The problem continues and they say they cant do anything about it until the problem that makes my car unsafe to drive happens more frequently, and while they are driving it.I would understand if my car was making a weird noise or something that a mechanic would be benefited from hearing the noise. However my car makes no prior indications to shut off, the mechanics refuse to actually look inside of my engine, and Im out over $900.One star is well earned.
Purchased my 2017 Santa Fe Sport brand-new from Massey 8/2016 bc they had the trim I wanted. Super service 5 years ago, super service today. Highly recommend!

My vehicle (a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe) broke down on the highway on a Sunday. I had never dealt with Massey before, but since they were the nearest Hyundai dealer, I had it towed there because I was certain the engine would need replaced. I called Massey two days later and they had already gotten authorization from Hyundai to replace the engine at no charge, even before I had spoken with them. I was afraid that the repairs might take weeks, since everything seems to be delayed lately. I was pleasantly surprised that they got the new engine and had it installed and ready to go within 4 days! I live in the DC area, about 90 minutes from Hagerstown, but will certainly keep them in mind when Im ready for a new vehicle. Great service!
I have been a customer of Massey Hyundai for 19. What keep me coming back is their service department. Randy & the team are always pleasant and make me feel like part of the family.
Bought 3 cars from them in the past year and half. They had a car I wanted, however I couldn’t make in on that day. I offered to leave an any amount of a deposit to hold the car until the next day, but they refused to do so. I was told they will not hold a car. Called Hamilton Hyundai, they had the car I wanted, took a $1000 deposit over the phone to hold the car, matched Masseys price and I get free lifetime oil changes, free lifetime car washes and free lifetime engine warranty. So who lost out here? Way to lose a good customer Massey.
We didnt purchase the vehicle thats the only reason for not giving 5 stars. We worked with Kaitlyn and she was great! My wife and I really enjoyed the experience. We would have purchased the vehicle but didnt like some of the options on the avaliable Palisades. Kudos to Kaitlyn and we hope to work with her again in the near future.Update: So impressed with Hyundai, Massey and our sales rep Kaitlyn, that we returned and purchased a new 2021 Palisade SEL. They offered the best deal, car and customer service after visiting 10 lots throughout DC metro.
While shopping my first car, I came to Massey thinking I would purchase their available used 2013 Hyundai Sonata. The salesperson I spoke to, Stephen Saunders, had a very personable manner and felt good to talk to, and even the front desk person gave me good LGBT-friendly vibes, but after I committed, things quickly went downhill. I spent over two and a half hours at Massey filling out paperwork and waiting for Stephen to come back with answers from their manager, was given nothing to work with when trying to negotiate an extra $500 off the list price, and at the end of it all, found out they couldnt even take my money. I had been transparent with them the whole time that this was my first vehicle purchase and I would like to pay upfront, but it took hours for them to say they didnt accept card, money order, or wire transfer. Because I came on a Saturday, banks were closed and I couldnt obtain a cashiers check. Stephen tried to pressure me into financing, so eventually I left and purchased a different vehicle. Outwardly Massey and its team look great, but actually working with them gets shady.
It was a great experience. The sales rep (Mr. Van Winkle) was outstanding.

First of all Jason was such an awesome guy! He was super friendly and honest with us. We’ve had bad experiences buying cars in the past at other places but this was total opposite! He helped us find a model that was in our price range, we had to wait 2 months until our home closed so he was super patient with us! When we pulled in the parking lot 2 months later he came out and greeted us! If your looking for a great car and someone to hook you up with a great deal hit up Jason! Justin the manager was also and awesome guy as well! He took his time and explained everything to us. He was a super honest guy didnt oversell us on a bunch of extra stuff. He even took the time to reach out to Hyundai and find a bunch of other discounts we applied on even an extra warranty and still stayed under our price range! Everybody was nice but they didnt perform the services they said they did. They didnt clean and lube my caliper slide pins like they suggested be performed (which caused me to have to replace my brakes later on due to uneven wear). They also didnt lube my sunroof which I specifically asked them to do. This was my first time here and I will never come back again. Very deceitful people!

Weve had good experiences with Masseys service dept. in the past, todays car shopping experience was rather different, however.Our slightly hurried, inattentive and unenthusiastic salesperson really didnt seem to have any get up and go; while we got to do a test drive, he didnt show much interest in finding anything in the inventory or at other dealerships to meet our buying needs. In this day and age of CoVid, businesses shouldnt take the customer experience for granted. Were shopping elsewhere, now, and good thing, as our salesperson has bothered with any follow up contacts since our visit.

After being in a serious car accident and my vehicle being a total loss, I did a lot of research on the type of vehicle I wanted. Hyundai came out on top in comparison to other brands. Once I decided that I wanted a Tucson- I visited the Dealership. I met with Jason and he provided excellent customer service. He was honest, friendly, and got me in the car I wanted! The finance team would not even discuss what they were offering for my trade. I stated I would like to at least see what your offering before asking what my down payment would be and they said no normal procedure is to ask down payment and then see what the financing options would be. Also said that we would have $18k in negative equity on cars that are worth at least what is owed on them, if not more but understood they need to make some money too. Bought a car from them in 2016 and will NOT BUY ANOTHER CAR FROM THEM EVER AGAIN!! And I will also defer my friends from them as well. I will go out of my way to make sure that no one I know will purchase from them!!

We visited Massey Hyundai on Saturday afternoon about 4:30 pm. We were met by Andrew Locke who offered to help us decide on a car. When we asked, What time do you close? He responded that he was responsible for taking care of his customers and that the time was not important. We gave Andrew a list of things that we wanted in the car and he checked the inventory and allowed us to drive a couple of them. Both cars had things that we requested and we chose our new Santa Fee based on its features and color.We could not have asked for a better person to work with.
