Salesman was very pushy but we were on a deadline trying to get our home ready to sale so we went ahead with the deal. After we agreed on the price the salesman requested us to pay the full amount up front. I don’t do business that way and told the salesman that wasn’t going to happen. He then requested 10% and sale tax if I remember correctly. He told my wife and I he would probably get in trouble for doing that for us. We received an invoice in the mail for the balance days before the install. After the install I received a phone call from the salesman. I couldn’t answer because of work. The salesman texted me requesting me to call him to pay. The amount he requested was $500 over the agreed price. As soon as I left work I called him. As soon as he answered he wanted to know how was I going to pay. I asked why it was $500 over. He said it was a typo. I paid him. He did not ask how the job looked or what I thought about it until after I paid him. By the way the job was average at best. For example two of our stairs had broke at the lips. Instead of calling me asking me if I wanted to fix them prior to the install they just carpeted over it. I have higher expectations. Why would you not notify the customer of something broken. Why wouldn’t you at least ask about the job before pressing payment. Oh, I know why. The business model is get paid!

If I were able to give this company a negative star, I would. I would not count on RiteRug to assist you in any problem you are having with your home. In January, I had an issue in our nursery with a new build they worked on putting the floor and carpet in. They left a gash in my base floors woodwork and decided it was okay to put padding down and forget about it. After waiting two months for someone to get back to me, they scheduled someone to come and see the problem. According to Erica, their associate, they were supposed to come on 3/5 between 12-4 pm. After taking a day off of work to comply with them, no one showed up. I emailed and left messages for the company, to which Erica had no explanation as to why they never showed up. She explained that the earliest they could reschedule the appointment they missed was a week out, which I told them was absurd considering that it was their mess up and I should not have to wait due to their neglect. Regardless, I decided to reschedule the appointment with them for 3/10 and took another day off work to make sure they were coming. After waiting 3 hours, they never showed. This company is not reliable and does not care about their customers satisfaction. Nor do they care about the quality of work because we are still finding nails through our carpet that we still step on—absolutely awful company.

Jim was very knowledgeable about everything we needed and did a great job figuring how much carpet and vinyl we needed. Installers were there on time and worked steady. Very pleased with how all looked when they finished!!!! Would readily recommend RiteRug!

The finished product is fantastic. Leading up to it wasn’t the best. The salesman rescheduled once 24hrs before install and then tried to reschedule again but I made a big deal about it so they ended up keeping the second install date. I was told my house was a 1 day job but they took two full days. Again, the finished product is great, the business office side needs some work.

Everyone from sales to installers were courteous and professional. Even though it was fairly small job, they couldn’t have been nicer.

We bought a new house, had flooring issues in less than a year, the carpet and laminate are the worst quality so RUN From this place. My carpet has unfinished borders and the laminatehas a lot of cracks. With that being said, I called them and a customer service associate told me that she will be sending an inspector, to see what they can do for me, pretty sure tell will try to fix it when IT CAN’T BE FIXED I need a new floor. Last but not least, she did not send the email to the inspector, so we were waiting for somebody that did not even know they were supposed to be working at my area (Easley) Now we have another appointment, let’s see what happens next 😡

They came on the day that was scheduled (on a Friday), performed the work as contracted, with the exception of the shoe molding around the baseboards. The installer, Carlos, said that he did not have the right size and said that he would be back the next morning with the correct size shoe molding (Saturday). Saturday came, no Carlos. I notified the RiteRug rep, Jim S, who did not respond. Sunday came, no Carlos. At this point, I still have an unfinished floor, where the laminate flooring looked great but still no shoe molding. Monday comes, no Carlos. A little grace is given that day, as that was Memorial Day. But still - no contact from Carlos nor Jim S. So Tuesday comes, and I send a lengthy text to Jim pretty much saying either get Carlos out there to finish or I’m finding someone else and I will never cosign on RITERUG again. He acknowledged my text with a “thumbs up”. I was at work that day, and so someone finally showed up, just not Carlos.The floor looks fine, but my only issue is the timing and lack of communication and professionalism from this company. They were quick to come out and provide a quote and get money, but slow to complete the work. I’m giving 3 stars Bc the floor does actually look good as it matches the existing laminate. The 2 star deduction is only for a lack of professionalism and late completion work.

The crew that showed up worked tirelessly to install our carpets in 4 rooms, 1 hall and 1 stairway. They finished in 6 hours and the job was done well. The only reason this is not 5 stars was due to nicking the wall/spindles on the staircase when removing the old carpet so I will be doing some touch up painting but its not a big deal. Memo was excellent and his crew thoughtful and they moved very heavy furniture to boot! Thank you for a job well done.

Jim Schlenker went above and beyond during the whole process! We had our entire upstairs carpet replaced with LVP! The quality of the LVP and work done was outstanding! The carpet for our steps is also installed well. They even did a few extra things that we asked for assistance with due to some health difficulties I have. Jim abs his whole crew is too notch!

When I called rite Rug flooring, the gentleman made an appointment to come to my home to see the actual area to be covered! We discussed options and he went to his van and brought those options in and decision was made and materials ordered! When delivery came and a date for them to come install the employees that do the install arrived and quickly and efficiently installed the flooring! A beautiful job was complete in less than 4 hours

J West and his team did a remarkable job on my floors. I had 3 bedrooms + closets of carpet removed and engineered hardwoods put down (slab foundation). After arriving at noon on the first day, the workers continued to work diligently all day and into the evening, coming back first thing the next morning to finish the job. Everything looks amazing! I cannot brag on them enough for the hard work and on J for his communication- he even checked on the work while he was on vacation. Excellent team. Would definitely recommend Rite Rug flooring.

Update: they showed up at about 1 pm and just left a few minutes ago. Wanted to put new floor over old messed up one. I refused. While the floor looks nice that is the only good thing I can say. My brand new house looks like a fixer upper. All of the molding needs to be repainted, they didn’t have the correct molding for around the doors so that’s unfinished, there is a toilet in my bathtub that needs to be reset, and I just went to make something to eat now that they are gone and my gas stove isn’t working (it was fine before they came). Also my house is in shambles with furniture and other things put everywhere. It’s going to take me days to put it back together. I put in a complaint through their corporate email and got a email back asking for address and have t heard another word. I have since emailed them twice with new issues.I live in a brand new home and they were the installer for my vinyl floor. We moved in at the end of august. In October I put in a warranty issue because I had two spots that were either bumpy or separating. The inspector came out and told me I would hear from the office to schedule an appointment. That never happened. I finally had someone call me to set up an appointment to fix the issues. I explained that the issues were now in more spots. First appointment no call no show, reschedule lid for a week later again no call no show, scheduled a third appointment and again they didn’t show. I now called and told them that there were 14 spots that had defects. They set the inspector back out. I took it upon myself to mark the defects with green painters tape. We are now up to 26 different spots with defects. Inspector agrees to replacing the whole floor. I had an appointment today and was told we would be the first appointment. At 9:15 I called to find out where they were. I was told they would call me back and let me know an eta. At 10:15 my husband called the office again and we were told they can’t get in touch with the installer but would call us back when they heard from him. I’ve been told that rite rug does not get paid to come back in and fix warranty issues. I’m assuming that this is why they are not showing up.I would not hire this company to install ANYTHING in my house. They are completely unprofessional. I unfortunately didn’t have a choice in who the builder used and have now been dealing with this headache for 5 months.We have also been told by the builder that the owner was unaware of the issues and is completely embarrassed and wanted to offer us a $100 visa gift card for our troubles and guaranteed that this would be taken care of. We never heard from the owner and needless to say haven’t seen the $100 gift card.

They were fast to provide pricing and options. They were able to fit our house into their schedule quickly. Amazing got the first floor, second floor, and stairs in one day. That was a den, living room, stairs, hallway, four bedrooms and closets. We will contact them first when ready its time to re-carpet our future home.

We only needed carpet for two bedrooms to be able to put a house on the market. Jim at RiteRug was able to meet me the next day and find a carpet in stock that complimented the other carpet in the house. The installers were very professional and completed the job to perfection. We were very pleased with the results. I would recommend RiteRug to anyone.

Best flooring service going. Jamie Patterson makes it so easy to shop from home and then you order and set up install. Installers did a beautiful job. I will use RiteRug for all my flooring needs in the future.

While we do like the flooring we picked out, we would not recommend RiteRug for installation. the jobs took longer than we were told, interrupting our move. Then it took a month and 4 extra visits to complete the job due to not having enough or the correct materials. Communication with us was poor. And at the end we were charged an additional amount because the person who did the estimate measured incorrectly.Edited to add: We sent our detailed complaints to customer service already. Their responses indicated they did not bother to read our email. They just kept asking us to contact them again.

RITE - RUG and Jim Schlenker are the absolute BEST!!We decided to replace ALL of our carpet with Luxury Vinyl Plank (over 2,000 square feet), and Jim had his team in and out in just over 2 days, start to finish.I cant say enough about the crew that actually handled the installation.They were on top of everything, very professional, hard working ....... and personable.My wife and I are extremely pleased with our new floors.As my son put it: Dad, you have done a lot of renovations / remodeling over the years to the house, but installing the LVP is far and away the best decision (and investment) you have made!!Thanks again to Jim and the TEAM at RITE - RUG.Ken and Donna Tuck

Update:9/28/21-Developer had them replace the floors in March. Well guess what is happening 6 months later?????? LVP Flooring is lifting. A manager came by with a Project Manager from the developer and said it was installed wrong, that the floor needed to be removed (from about half the first floor), to do it right......THOUGH IT WAS THEIR OWN PEOPLE.....2 weeks later they come out...They had no floor and refused to do any work. Said that the way the repair order/RMA was worded they refused to do any work because they would not get paid. Said no material had been ordered, and prior to leaving blamed the structure of the house. 15-20 minutes tops inside my home. Complete and utter JOKE.NEVER RECEIVED CALLBACK FROM ANY MANAGER ASKING FOR AN EXPLANATION.STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. Initial floored installed in a new home will be subpar, then they will send someone out who will tell you you need to kick the floor every now and then to slide them back unther the shoe mold. Then they will send their subcontractors to your home without materials. The subcontractors will say nothing is communicated to them, all while being rude at the same time. When you call the manager Derek to voice your complaint(s), he will give you a response of along the lines that he is too busy to deal with you, and you need to call someone else, basically his manager.Hey Google, can we get 0 stars here????I requested a callback from Seth Flowers 3 weeks ago, and really shouldnt be surprised that no one has called me.

He did not try to sell me things that I did not need and I felt like they had my best interests in mind the whole time. I would recommend them to anyone with flooring needs without hesitation.

This is the fourth house we have used Riterug to install floors in and they have done a great job every time! James Schlenker is always professional and prompt in coming out to show us samples and measure and in getting the install scheduled quickly.

The job was a small one, just the stairs in the house. Overall from the sales rep process to the final installation, everything was very smooth and professional. Would highly recommend the Rite Rug team for carpeting needs.

Happy with the work. Came to my house (didnt need to drag children to a showroom), good prices, and completed my work 6 days later.

All the work was done to my satisfaction, the workers did a good and fast job. The only problem was that some of the baseboards were scratched scuffed and the paint chipped off.After 2 months a rep from Rite Rug finally reached out to me about the damage baseboards and missing sheet moldings that was caused by Rite Rug employees and they said theres nothing they can do and I have to take care of it myself.Very unprofessional and it seems they dont care about keeping their customers satisfied. They dont go above and beyond for their customers.

Our client hired Rite Rug on our recommendation. Scott and team did an amazing job on removing carpeting, laminate and a small bit of hardwood at the entry. They installed beautiful LVT throughout the first floor. They stain the quarter round and installed that as well. The floors look beautfiful!!!

Excellent! We’ve used RiteRug twice and both times we had excellent service. The first time we were putting our house on the market and new carpet really helped it to sell. The second time was in our current home and we are so pleased with the new carpet.

We worked with Jim @ Rite Rug and he did an awesome job. He came out to our house, showed us some samples of carpet and was able to install on our schedule. The price was better than anything your going to find at the box stores and the service was top notch. Even my husband, whos an engineer and hard to impress was over the moon after the install. We will be using them for our projects and flooring in the future.

I closed on my house in Friday Dec. 28 and was moving in on Saturday Jan.5. Anne meet me at my house on the afternoon of my closing, ordered products and installed on Thursday. I was super excited about how quick she was able to make it happen. The installers were great and my new hardwood floors are beautiful. I will be using them again to the finish the rest of the house.

Went from bad to good. Had a schedule date of install. No one showed so had to drive to rite rug. Promised next day install which did happen. A guy by the name of Gabriel and his team were very professional, respectful, knowledgeable and courteous. It is because of this team of installers that turned around my experience. The crew did a very good job and Also did a good job of cleaning up the mess that was created while sanding the sub floor. My only complaint is that we paid for extra flooring and the workers took it with them, and now I am having a hard time tracking it down.

I can honestly say that it is hard to find a company to work with in this area but not with these two on your side. I never have any issues with scheduling or the quality of the work completed. I do not have to go behind Francisco to check his work because he DOES IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! We have completed upgrades in almost all of it units with no issues! I work in multi-family apartment management and use RiteRug almost on a weekly basis for over the past 6 years. My rep, Jennifer, and all the installers are absolutely phenomenal and easy to work with! Whenever issues arise (which is rare) they are fixed ASAP. Jennifer has also been extremely helpful in picking out the best carpet and vinyl which helps me stay within my budget. I am loyal for life! Quality of their products is the lowest of quality! We upgraded our carpet like 4-5 levels when building our house through Ryan. We thought we got a higher quality of Berber. It has unraveled beyond comprehension in 1.5 years. You vacuum ant just comes!! They WAY over charge for service too! They contract out and the contractors try to get by doing the least amount of work possible.(I think because RR is stingy on paying them!) The same area of our rug keeps unraveling & we use this room about 1x a month!Go to Home Depot or somewhere else that will guarantee their product!!! Nice people at RR! Low Quality Products!!!

It was a pleasure working with Scott Thomas. The installation of new flooring and carpet had to be coordinated with a series of other projects, so scheduling was very important. Scott got it done exactly when he promised it would be and ensured that the people who did it were top-grade professionals. He stayed in touch throughout the project to be sure that we were getting our needs met and came by afterwards to ensure that we were pleased with the final results. The price was great and they did a beautiful job installing our new laminate flooring! The workers were quick and cleaned everything up before they left. There was a mismeasure issue which they corrected and came back the following week and finished one small atea. I recommend this company. Only negative is i had to contact my salesrepresentative to ensure when they were coming. But they came when the time was set. Great company and I will probably have them back to do the other two bedrooms when i have the money saved!

I was forced to use this company when building a new construction home through Ryan homes. Even though we paid over $4000 in upgrades, the products were given garbage. After only three months in the house, with just me, my wife, two kids under age 5, the carpet looks like it had been here for 10 years. Right Rug’s suggestion was to vacuum more often. The wood flooring was just as bad as it chipped all over the place and the glue is letting loose in about a dozen more places. Their products and services are equally terrible, go elsewhere and be happier.

I have been working with Rite Rug and Scott Thomas for several years for the 400 rental properties that we manage. Scott is awesome to deal with, has very fair pricing, and the quality is exceptional. I would highly recommend Scott Thomas and Rite Rug.

Started out great, very professional with a great price. Then, after the job was done, I received a surprise invoice of 4 short pieces of tack strip and moving stuff. James Pattison visited my home and saw all of the tack strip was still in place and still he sent me the invoice. As for moving stuff, There was a head board against the wall and a box of assembled moving boxed. I told the installers I still had to move them, they said they had it and grab them up. For this a received an invoice for $180.00!!!!! Beware of this outfit. The price is low up front then they smack in the end with bogus invoices.

Scott and his team took great care of us, from the sales experience, to floor prep, to the finished product. We could not be happier with how everything turned out.

One star only because zero is not an option. This company has the absolute worst customer service possible. We had a warranty claim and still are waiting to hear what they can do to fix the problem after two years. I have a box of replacement flooring in my garage that I assume I will have to install myself. I will never do business with this company again. I would have expected some level of basic assistance considering the amount of money that we spent on our flooring. I was wrong.

Terrible company to work for as far as warehouse is concerned. They lie about job duties, dont train their employees or show them the right way, and youre NEVER paid on time!!! Ive been waiting 3 weeks for my last check from the company only to be told if you wouldve stayed u wouldve got paid that makes no sense to me. And the lady Christy or Chrissy that works in the office is VERY VERY rude and unprofessional. Idk about the installation part but as far as warehouse jobs and customer service this place is a disgrace and TERRIBLE for employment.

Pretty terrible experience so far. They did the flooring for my new house. Had to remove and reinstall the tile in the bathroom 3 times, each time for a different reason centered around negligence. Carpet still looks terrible because they cant hide a seam (after multiple fixes). Carpet pad is uneven on every stair, so you can feel the subfloor underneath on some, and they wouldnt fix it. When trying to schedule a warranty repair (on something they couldnt fix before closing), I was given a 4 hour window where I had to be home so I took a half day off work, then get a call 3 hours in that the installer will be coming an hour after the scheduled window. If you have the option, I wouldnt recommend choosing RiteRug based on my experiences. If you dont have the option, be very careful with their craftsmanship (if you can call it that), and document any issues that arise and all communication - dont trust them to follow-through.
