I can’t say enough wonderful things about Chris and his team! They are perfectionists and work to get the job done on time. They sanded and stained the hardwood floors in our home, as well as had carpet installed. Both end products are phenomenal! These guys are the best of the best!!!

Ive never done business with Palmetto Flooring before and I went in with an odd request for a very small job that I felt like most people would just not want to bother with. Instead, they went above and beyond to help me out. This is why I always try to shop local and support small businesses. Palmetto Flooring will be my first stop when were ready for a real flooring project, and I have no doubt they will be fair and good to work with, based on my brief experience and the other reviews Ive read.

I accidentally damaged with water the hardwood floors of the house I was renting and I had less than 10 days to schedule and have someone come and repair the floor before I turned the house back to the owners. The schedule was pretty tight because to refinish a floor you need 3-4 consecutive days of work and I still needed to move furniture out of the house. Also, the water damage was from a plant pot that leaked onto the floor and left a dark round stain in a corner of a large living room in which the floors continued to a hallway and to the rest of the house. I needed the repair to be contained to the damage area otherwise the cost would be prohibitive to us. That means the repair people would need to be able to match the color of the 20 years old existing floor perfectly! I talked to Patty and they scheduled a day to come and kept their schedule. They showed up every day and worked and by the time I had to return the house to their owners the floors were gorgeous. Their job was PERFECT. You cannot tell where the old floor finish ends and the new finish starts (well, of course the new finish looks a zillion times better - I mean that the color is exactly the same and if you didnt pay attention to scratches on the older parts of the floor you wouldnt be able to tell where they refinished the floor). I am very happy with their reliability - had they failed to show up I would have been in a very bad situation, and their craftsmanship. I already recommended them to two other people!

Recently purchased a new home with beautiful hardwood floors, but the floors had not been finished properly. Called Palmetto Flooring, who came out to advise how to fix them. They were able to get the job done quickly, beautifully, and at a reasonable price. Very happy!

These folks do great work! We are totally pleased with our hardwood floor. We had a delivery guy scuff up the floor and stair treads. They redid that area, good as new. We highly recommend their work.

Excellent job with the carpeting for our guest room: FAST turnaround with measuring, ordering, & installing in one week! Quite different from a competitor who told me it would be six weeks from start to finish. I’ll use Palmetto Flooring again.

Where do I even start... my realtor recommended these guys to me. I bought a house and they were taking out the tile in the kitchen and placing hardwoods as well as refinishing the existing hardwoods including the stairs. They were supposed to start work on a Tuesday morning. I showed up at the house on Tuesday (I couldn’t move in until the floors were done) and no one was there. I was told they were waiting for a dumpster. I’m not sure why that wasn’t already there because this was scheduled weeks ahead of time. They didn’t come until the next day. Tile was ripped out Wednesday and hardwoods placed Thursday. Nothing happened Friday or Saturday (I was previously told they do work Saturdays). This flooring wasn’t one that needed to acclimate so work should have continued. So the first week, only two days of work was done. I tried to get in touch with Cherie several times to make sure things would start back Monday and she would not return my calls. The walls and cabinets in my kitchen got beat up from the tile removal. There was a spot in the dining room that had a stain (from original hardwoods) that I hoped would come up with sanding and had discussed previously with Cherie if the stain didn’t come up that I would want the wood replaced. When the stain didn’t come out with sanding, I told them to replace it. The worker didn’t seemed thrilled that he would be the one to replace it. It felt like I was being a nuisance asking for it to be replaced. I found out there was a roof leak on the existing hardwoods. I was told they would let the wood dry and they would stain later that day if possible. I came back the next day, it was stained, however, they then let me know that the wood was rotted from previous leaks. Why wouldn’t I have been told this prior to staining to be given the chance to tell them to replace the wood??? Who would spend 13k on refinishing hardwoods to have a rotted corner? They also got stain all over my stairwell... on the walls and trim and bannister rails. The stairs were painted by previous homeowner... the flooring company was to remove the paint and refinish the wood. They didn’t scrape the underneath of each stair step. There are stain spots throughout my kitchen, stairwell, dining room and den. There are also nail holes in the hardwoods where there shouldn’t be. I tried to talk to Cherie about this and wanted her to come see the work. She wouldn’t come out. I asked for the owner’s number. I spoke with him and he was immediately defensive. He refused to come see the work that I was concerned about. He said he was doing a large job and would lose his business if he didn’t go to that job and came to my house to look at the floors. So basically my 13k flooring job was nothing to him. He said he would have guys come scrape the underneath of the stairs and that was his way of saying he was listening to my concerns. He did not apologize for any of the work. I told him I was concerned about the type of work being done and he said what more could he do to show he cared? I told him I wanted him to come see the work and he continued to say he couldn’t. Neither Cherie or the owner came to my house to see my concerns. I was finally able to get ahold of Cherie after the final coat of the hardwoods was complete and I told her my concerns. She told me to send her pictures. She never responded or called me back. I would not use them or recommend them for any work. Not only do they not take pride in their work, but they also are unprofessional and don’t seem to care about their costumers with “small” jobs.

We love our new floor! Palmetto Flooring provides excellent customer service from start to finish. Cherie gave awesome help in the choosing of the right floor. The floor was installed within a week and it is beautiful. I certainly will return to Palmetto Flooring again.

Amazing work at a great price. I got a new oak floor that replaced tired carpet upstairs and also got my downstairs existing floor refinished. The young men who did the work were completely reliable and the finished product was worlds away from the dingy yellow finish it had before. Id definitely use them again.

Had Brazilian Cherry Floor’s insteaded and I can’t say enough about this company! Also, tile installed in my kitchen & laundry room! I can say this is a wonderful company with great customer service and reliability!! Will definitely use them again!

They do good work but are terrible at keeping schedules and appointments. Had an appointment for Thursday. Called that afternoon and was told will be there Friday morning. Called Friday afternoon and was told Saturday at 9:30 guaranteed. Never showed.
