Really nice products but crazy expensive. Other big box stores, specifically the big orange one is way cheaper. Staff is not interested in helping you or telling you about products. As a woman I just need some help with this kind of stuff.
Great product offering and excellent customer service. Ive gotten some great recommendations and BBQ tips from their staff. They even called a week after my purchase to see if I was satisfied. Definitely going back to this location in the future.

Wasted my time. Called to see if they had a specific accessory for a green egg. After being put on hold I was told that they do, great. However, when I arrived they could see the accessory in the system but couldnt find the actual accessory. Complete waste of my time driving across town.
Let me start by saying the product offering is a grillers dream. The price points and customer service are second to none for what you get. I did a considerable amount of shopping around and they offer the highest quality product you can find for your dollar. I highly recommend stopping by before you make any grill purchase. This place has all levels of grills and outdoor equipment including some furniture. Their prices are unbeatable when it comes to their own brands. Joel helped us out and was very informative, friendly and not pushy. Also, I had to return one item and they took it back without blinking. Very service orientated. They even called a month later to make sure my equipment was good. I’m not sure how people have had bad experiences here as they are extremely attentive and helpful.
After years of hearing Ben & Skin advertise for this store, I finally have a reason to visit this weekend (Bought me a new Viking) and they were right, this store is AWESOME!!But they also talk about the level of service, recommendations, tips, tricks.. Make it sound like a place to visit to talk shop . A far far cry from the truth. Place is stuffy and all these guys want to do is set behind the counter and collect a check..Told him I was new to the game, needed a little bit of everything.. Left with a couple of rubs... I was planning on spending several hundred $$. Guy was clueless.Cool concept, cool store, terrible service & execution on a great idea!

My wife and I went to the store to buy a grill waited 20 min and no one greeted us or offered to help.... we left and went to Home Depot and bought a 6 burner grill... I am sure I save more money and got better service!
They werent helpful in the store. Required to schedule appointment to visit my house, they dont confirm, I call to confirm, they dont arrive in 2 hour window I call back. I received just reschedule bye, bye kind of attitude. I was a repeat customer with a nice built-in grill, there are better people to buy from and better stores. Really felt like they just wanted me to bend over backwards to buy more. I wanted to buy when I was in the store the first time.
I have been a customer for 14 years. Must have been underdressed today as I went in to check out pellet grills and buy parts for my Turbo. Joel got bored with my questions and fortunately the phone rang and he excused himself. Never came back and when I went to the register he said sorry I didn’t come back. Blew me off when I didn’t know the model # of my Turbo. Fortunately again the phone rang so I left. Next time I will dress sharper and have a limo bring me so he knows I can afford what I am interested in. Actually that is not true, I will not be back! I doubt I will be missed

Barbeques Galore is a great place to shop for your outdoor living needs. They are very friendly and dont pressure you to buy. I went 3 times before I decided to buy a 5 piece outdoor furniture set. Each time I went, they answered all of my questions and never pressured me. They are very knowledgeable.
Like others, I find the sales staff to be less than interested in helping. They are truly sales staff, not interested in service. Ive been to this location two times. First experience, I had called to ask if they had ceramic tiles in stock and was told yes. I got there within 20 minutes only to be told that they would need to order them. Even after confirming that I was told that they had them, the sales associate TOLD me that he wanted to get me into the store!! I gave them another chance this past weekend. Questioning the cost of replacement burners (more than 4x online), I informed the associate that I could get them for much cheaper. He said not from us. Again, curious response with obviously no interest in service. Ive come here because its the brand that was installed in the house I bought. These associates should take a ride down the street to BBQ Outfitters and see what Service is all about!!
I am pleased with the service and assortment. I drive from nrh just to hit this place for my charcoal needs. I love their rub club and now they have a charcoal club as well.
Great customer service....was looking for a new pellet grill....Got some good information here.
The manager/owner has no interest in customer service. His solution to a poorly designed grill which allows rats to get in and chew up the wiring is to either blame me for not poisoning them (what a horrible way to die!) or charge me to repair the grill. They built the grill box and sold me the $1700 grill knowing this was a problem and they refuse to take responsibility.

We have been doing business with Barbecues Galore in Grapevine for about sixteen years. Weve never had a bad experience. Tom, the store manager and Ethan are very professiional. In all the times we have shopped there (fireplace gas logs, grills, and accessories, there has never been pressure applied by the staff to buy anything. I never asked for but received a veterans discount even though I told them I was in the Air Force in the nineteen fifties. Ethan saw my status on my license. We bought a Genesis II this last time which they waved the delivery fee for because I am a vet and long time customer. Thanks Tom and Ethan.
Very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to using gas fireplace logs in the winter and cooking on our Green Mountain pellet grill.
Horrible experience.... ordered 2 Turbo Flame Tamer replacement burners on 7/8/17 & we were told by Ron they would be sent to us in a few weeks. I expressed my concern we were leaving on an international cruise on 8/26 & did not want a package attempted to be delivered while we were gone. I was assured it would be delivered before we left. Keep in mind we paid for the burners & shipping on 7/8.... I have called every week & been told they are the way. Monday of this week I spoke to Eric who told me the store would have the burners this Thursday & he would call me. I asked him to hold them & we would pick them up today so they are not shipped. I called on Thursday only to be told by Ron they had been FedEx to my house! Ugh. As of this morning (Sat), I have not received them. So, I called the store & talked to Ron who said the tracking number is showing a delivery date of Tuesday now! We were supposed to pick them up, I was supposed to get a call because its so close to us leaving on our cruise. Bottom line, we prepaid, BBQ Galore got their money over a month ago & I am still without burners for our grill & dont know what to believe at this point.Horrible communication & horrible customer service. Buyer beware!!!

Ive been going to these guys for about 4 years now. Victor and Ronnie are always greeting us with a smile and hand shake. They are very knowledgeable in all of the products they sell. Thats where purchase all my Big Green Egg products. THanks guys, and keep up the good work.

Called over the phone to ask about a propane tank/fire pit adapter and if they carried one. the manager was short and rude with me while i tried to explain exactly what i needed. I did not know the industry terms for the parts i needed and he was very testy and unhelpful. after being put on hold for along period of time i gave up and moved on to the next store and found what i was looking for. I will never step foot in this place because of this phone call experience.
My experience with Barbecues Galore in Grapevine, Texas has been the worst retail experience I have ever had. After having an issue with my grill, still under warranty, I was told that the warranty did not cover labor, only parts. I was charged $99 for a service call and the defective part was identified. I was then told that I had to pay $28 in advance for the part which would be refunded when it came in (strange for a warranty part?). When the part came in I picked it up and was told by store personnel (Tom) that he could not issue the refund because I did not have the original credit card with me.I went home and called in the number but did not receive the promised eMail receipt for the credit. I called for three days in a row, with Tom laughing and telling me he did not have time to get to it or he forgot. When I objected, he told me I could call the store operator. Apparently the idea of a customer service complaint did not bother him at all. This issue has still not been resolved, even after calling Barbecues Galore Corporate.I have read other reviews similar to this on the web, so this must not be unusual. This guy loves to play power games and apparently gets away with it. After purchasing three grills from them, I will never return and would advise others to steer clear of this place.
Awful service. Ridiculous return policy. I will not give this unethical company another dime.By the way, dont rely on their return policy posted to their website (which makes it seem like returns are no problem as long as its unopened/unused). Read the fine print on the receipt where it basically says a 20% restocking fee or no refund at all will be given to you depending on what product you buy... Then they up front admit to selectively enforcing this policy and they are selecting to enforce it on me! I will report back if I have any luck with my legal action I intend to file...
Horrible customer service. Walked in while two employees were with another customer and didn’t acknowledge or make any sort of greeting. I knew exactly what I was looking for and was standing in front of it for 10-15 minutes without any acknowledgement from staff. Walked around store while browsing and still look help from staff. Sucks for them as I came cash ready to pick up an egg, guess I’ll go a little further from my house to premier grilling or BBQ outfitters where customer service exist
Maybe some changes have been made here since some of these poor reviews because my own experience was very good. I had shopped around and knew I wanted a new Weber Performer to replace and upgrade my old 22 Weber that needed retirement. After research, Barbeques Galore offered exactly the same price as Lowes and Amazon. When I went to buy the customer service was great. The associate opened a few min early for me on a Sunday and answered the questions couple questions I had left. Most of the inventory in their showroom is high end stuff and my purchase was small potatoes by comparison but I was never treated like my business wasnt valuable to him or pressed on an upsell. In fact, the associate seemed as excited as I was for my new grill.After making my choice the salesman registered my warranty for me then helped me load my puchase into the Jeep.All together I got great customer service from a local business rather than a box store and didnt compromise a cent on price.

Buy Anywhere else--Horrible Customer Service--these people really dont seem to care at all about their customers--dismissive is the best thing I can say about them. Parts and service for new infra-red add ons to my BBQ unit were bought and paid for on April 28th. Today, 28 June I called them to request that the parts be installed on before the 4th and I was told by Tom Dose that this was just not going to happen. Unreasonable, uncaring, poor business.
I purchased a grill and outdoor hibachi cooktop in November 2015 including delivery for about $11,000They finally came in january 2016 to install. I waited until past the appointment time and had to leave for work and they had not come or called. I came home that evening and my top of outdoor kitchen was broken and the grill was out of the box and left there for the weather and received no phone call or anything. They apparently spoke to my cleaning lady while here and her English not very good. I unknowingly assumed they had an issue and would be back when that didnt happen after a week I called the store and got their installer information and called him. He wanted 1200 to fix the damage or more, he said he was unsure on cost but preferred not to fix at all and referred me to another company. They came out and wanted almost 5000 I called the store and could not get help and requested to have someone in charge get with me to rectify. No one called back that week. I called back the following week and had an argument with store and they wouldnt do anything to help. I hired another company to fix and they said there was no igniter for the hibachi grill and the gas line system that came with grill had an issue. I paid for the gas lines etc but needed the igniter I called Lynx for it and they told me to go back to the store and ask again so I did. The store said they would get but now three weeks have gone by and nothing I called the store again and the manager wouldnt come to phone and told the clerk who answered that he would call me next week. It is literally over 5 months now and still no grill to useI had found cheaper prices on Internet for the grill but thought for that type of money I was better off with a local retailer. I really regret using barbq galore and will now have to spend more money with lynx for the parts I never received

Paid over $1000 for their Turbo grill. Numbers wore off the dials in four months. No assistance from the store, including no call back. Wont buy anything from them again.
