Quite little coffee bar, good atmosphere and very friendly staff. I had the cappuccino and it was delicious. Prices are fair $ I didn’t have food but the menu looked inviting. Give it try 😀

Nitro Cold Brew was awesome! Great place to relax and chat. Staff was nice and showed heart in there coffee craft.

This is one of several coffee shops on Wealthy, but is one of our faves. It has a clean modern interior & they serve wine/beer besides the usual coffee and tea selections. We chose this one today because the other one nearby required masks no matter what. Were vaccinated & most places allow maskless customers. Not a big deal for us, but still was a bit of a turn off. We ordered just coffee and tea this trip. Service was helpful, friendly and prompt, which we appreciated. My wife especially liked her cardamom latte, which she got rather than the usual mocha but they were out of chocolate (what??). Its a pleasant place so we will come back.

I wasn’t sure about Squibb when I first arrived. It feels a little to square; one long row of tables, seats at the bar, a high top, and a couple lounge chairs reluctantly tucked into the corner. It doesn’t have the intimate coffeehouse feel that I usually prefer, but after a few minutes I realized it’s more of a workspace cafe. Probably 85% of the patrons were working in some fashion, without much socializing or hanging out. I had a very smooth and flavorful latte and an exceptional oatmeal cream pie. The detail that gives Squibb 5 stars to me was the music - they played some great albums all the way through, which I always admire in public spaces. I’m looking forward to returning on my next trip to Grand Rapids!

I was in the area and decided to stop here based on the excellent customer reviews. I ordered a nitro cold brew and burrata + peach toast. Friendly and knowledgeable service and the place itself is very clean. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean.The place didn’t have that cozy coffee shop feel, everyone seemed to be busily working on something. (Just an observation, not related to my rating)Nitro cold brew was fine but the burrata toast tasted a bit off. Skimpy on the burrata and jam with a couple shreds of basil and an awful lot of coarse salt on top. This was rather disappointing considering the price.Nice place to get the occasional coffee. Just skip the toast.

The coffee was good, the rules and atmosphere were stifling.. but I can see the draw for people of that like-mindedness. Not saying those folks are bad, please dont take offense, just not my thing! However, the coffee was really good and I really appreciated the outside seating!!

A friend and I came here for the first time this afternoon. We loved it. Great atmosphere, wonderful service, and a menu thats not boring. Fantastic place to study, which is hard to find these days. In addition to their coffee and wine options, they also have a really nice selection of teas. Started a punch card today because I will definitely be back.

Squibb is my favorite place to get coffee, a variety of yummy toasts, and incredible cheeses. The atmosphere is friendly, inviting, productive, and spotless. What I think is the best is their amazing catering! Full trays of cheeses, meats, breads, nuts, and pickled items are to die for (all with little hand written signs and attention to detail) and they do iced teas, too! Ive had them cater two large events so far and theyve completely knocked it out of the park. Customer for life!

Great vibe, super helpful and friendly staff, garden variety of choices ranging from decaf coffee to boozy lattes. Many different types of places to sit with a small street side cafe table area. Honestly one of my favorite spots. Good choice of snacks as well.

We came in to celebrate my Moms birthday and everything was wonderful. They let me call ahead and reserve a table for us, they greeted us warmly and offered samples and the drinks and charcuterie plate we ordered were delicious! The unique choices and friendly service guarantees a return visit from me!

My husband and I traveled to Grand Rapids for a fun day trip. Squibb was a coffee shop we had our eyes on last visit. We loved the vibe of the shop & appreciated the diverse menu. I got the cardamom latte + my husband got the turmeric chai. These might not sound appealing to the average coffee drinker, but they both were AMAZING. I really appreciate the boldness Squib eminates with their menu. We will definitely be back! :)

The Best! This place does everything really well. The service is great, the environment is perfect, and they have a DEEP knowledge of coffee, wine, and cheese! Ohhh, and they make the best charcuterie boards in town! Check em out!!!

Stopped by for an Ethiopia pour over, which was terrific! Squibb uses Onyx Coffee roasted out of Arkansas. I tend to prefer locally roasted coffee, and there are a few within walking distance of Squibb, but the quality of the beans at Squibb and their brewing techniques are phenom. Highly recommend!

I came here for their Flight Night and had a wonderful time! The atmosphere and staff are extremely pleasant and the price is reasonable. I hope to visit this delightful coffee bar much more often in the future!

Morning or night Squibb has you covered. Baked goods and coffee all day, charcuterie and wine in the evening. Excellent place to sit and work for a few hours or hang out with friends.

Best avocado toast in town - make sure to add peppers! Great espresso, espresso tonic, and pour overs. Friendly and welcoming staff. Squibb is my go-to coffee shop in GR.

Unfortunately, the staff was not very friendly. I don’t mind overpaying if the experience is worth it. I found this place by searching best coffee in Grand Rapids. After reviewing each place that was selected, I chose Squibb. I do not recommend it.

Nice atmosphere and friendly baristas. Usually parking is available on a nearby side street with no meter; it isnt a terribly long walk. The coffee pretty good. It is a very modern coffee shop and it is always very clean!

The space is clean and minimalist, with a surprisingly spacious feel for a small location. There are plenty of seats in a variety of configurations- single bar seats, group high-tops, small tables.Squibbs is not what I would call cozy, but its trendy and tasty and close to a bunch of fun shops and restaurants. I would definitely come back if I were in the neighborhood.

Very chill spot. Nice selection of drinks on hand both alcoholic/non-alcoholic. Grilled cheese sandwiches are tasty as well.

I had an iced, miel latte today. It was delicious! It was exactly what I needed on such a warm, sunny day. I also love how this place seems to bring out the best in people-both employees and customers. Every time I come here, I have the best conversations!

Grand Rapids is quickly becoming a hub for specialty coffee. In the boom of specialty cafes, its easy to be just another voice in the crowd. Luckily, Squibb stands out with the added Wine bar that makes this a unique stop amongst the Grand Rapids coffee scene.

Nitro cold press lacked nitro foam: coffee was excessively bitter, more like chilled pour over or drip than cold press.

I dont typically enjoy the sterile atmosphere many new coffee shops are adopting. I prefer to feel like Im in a cozy old cottage while enjoying coffee, but Squibb is nice. They have food and beer and wine selection which is not only unique for a coffee shop but also delicious.

Very cool atmosphere. Coffee and food is on point. Very hipster-y but there are some normal people there too so you don’t have to be afraid to go in. This is definitely a new workplace for me. Love the toast options for breakfast!

Very nice modern coffee shop with a superb chai latte. The space is fairly large and great for meeting others. I also like there are several outlets so charging my computer was no problem.

What a great new coffee shop! I really enjoyed how quiet and quaint it was since I was trying to study. My latte was delicious and the barista was really helpful. Loved the minimalist decor too. Definitely coming again!

Amazing! Atmosphere is wonderful and the drinks are fantastic! There is a great base of drinks to choose from, and there is always new coffee options weekly from a wide range of roasters, plus weekly specialty drinks. Without a doubt my favorite place to go in Grand Rapids and West Michigan!

The price of the coffee seemed a little high. The flavor was definitely better than the price. Theres just as good and better priced places right down the road.

This coffee shop has 3 different atmospheres in one building. It’s great for catching up with a friend, getting work done, or drinking a glass of wine! It’s a little pricy but love how big and open it feels.

I had average service and didn’t like the pour over I was served. I went early in the morning and was not treated kindly. The atmosphere is ok, but not the best.

The coffee and tea products are on point. I dont recommend getting their hot chocolate, its rather artificial with the syrup and all. As far as customer service goes, they are very helpful and friendly.

Squibb Coffee Bar is exactly what GR Needed. Its a coffee bar that is not located downtown which provides a great atmosphere. The lighting, furnishings, and equipment is all new and there are PLENTY of plugs for laptops. Highly recommended.

Has a honey sage latte, which was expertly crafted for me. The atmosphere is wonderful, a mix of college students, couples, and coffee regulars. Bar seating and ample table tops.

Loved this place and the amazing staff that were so friendly and funny. I would recommend this spot to anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing environment and great coffee. The cortado I had was so rich and smooth.

I wish their were more wines to pick from, but overall, the charcuterie is good and the wine is well picked.

I normally go for the Rose and a sharable cheese plate, but today I had the chevre and jelly toast on brioche, and a Jasmine green tea. Perfect, light, and exactly what I needed.
