They offer a very fine selection of reading material. Ive been able to locate many hard to find books here, and theyll order it if they do not stock it. They also have a large selection of used books. You can find some hidden treasures here.This store has helped me grow in my walk with Christ.

I love Baker Book House. This place is always so peaceful and accommodating. The people serving me really know their books and authors and always have good advice and recommendations. The used book area is my favorite, love finding me a rare gem. I’m very happy that Baker had maintained their conservative approach to publishing and selling books and continue to be a cornerstone of the community. Many blessings to them.

A nice selection, and definitely will be going here instead of other book stores. Went to another book store recently and was very disappointed and decided that I was going to shop here from then on. I love how they have a used book selection and new. And also love their music selection!!!👍🏼

Great selection of books, toys, puzzles, bibles and gift items for ALL ages. In the back is a coffee shop with plenty of seating. Towards the front is a nice seating area by a fireplace. In one large area are shelves with used books. The cashier was extremely friendly. The parking is free with handicapped spaces at the entrance. The mall is close with easy on and off to expressways. Also there is light which makes it easier to get out on the main road. They also have a nice Christmas area where you can snap a photo, then tag them on social media. It was well worth the 2 hour travel time to the store. I will definitely be visiting again.

This store is consistently clean and inviting. Its organized well but I often need help to find specific books because there are so many categories. The store has awesome gifts for everyone and all kinds of cards. I just wish their coffee shop would open up again.

Staff if very helpful. You can get any of your Bible study materials, devotionals, religious decorations, basically any worship or study needs. They have a great library and used books also! Great treasures to be found. You can even get a cup of coffee and a snack! Love coming here for so many on my Christmas and other gift giving needs.

Baker has an incredible selection of books, both fiction and non fiction as well as Christian academic. Cant find what you want? Their incredible staff will order it. Lots of gift options and a really good coffee shop make this one of my go tos!

I always stop here when in Grand Rapids. A Christian bookstore that actually has books of deep, intellectually-enriching theology. There are many academic volumes worth perusing. Staff does a good job of highlighting books with Christian perspectives on current event topics. Has a wide selection of Bibles in all translations and versions. I love perusing the used book warehouse for used, and out-of-print classics.Oh yeah, theres a coffee shop and gift area if you are into that.

My family continuously returns to this place to expand our library and the variety of books, games, music, toys, mcguffins you can get here is amazing! The store is spacious with a wonderful environment where you can have Bible study with some coffee. I have walked in here many a times to see people lounging and having fellowship in this place. Great place for the ministry :)

Havent been to Baker book house in many years And it was so nice to stop buying somewhat reminisce about a fairly unrecognizable bookstore. Its been rebuilt and and its definitely not the same layout but just being on the soil was nice. Great used and new books to uplift your heart and soul.

I am so glad I was able to go to this gem. The only bummer was I couldnt spend more time here. Amazing selection of books. I spent more time in the on-sale and used section, which is tremendously huge all on its own. Very wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. I do not know if I will get to be going back anytime soon (though I am certainly going to be checking out their website) but I would in a heartbeat. If you are a lover of Christian literature, you will love this store.

I love Baker Book House, they have all the current books I like and they have a used book section of older publications that you can browse for hours. Its a great place for people who love to search for old books!

This is a great place to find Christian book and Bibles. They also have a huge inventory of used books. The prices are reasonable and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Huge selection of books. I could spend hours in this place. Went here to see a speaker and really liked the atmosphere. As well as books they have many Christian images and decorations. There is also a huge used book room. Definitely would like to come here to get work done.

There are plenty of good books to purchase here, though discretion is needed as there are many books that are theologically liberal.The used book section has a good selection of material. While the prices in the used section are often very good the odd title is overpriced when compared to the same new title on Amazon.The seminary student and pastor discount is wonderful.I will be sure to attend Baker on my next trip to Grand Rapids.

This place represents so much of what I love about Christianity. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Constantly find something new to read, but classics also stay easy to find. Add in coffee and the variety of quiet areas, this is an excellent place to come for a quick 5 minutes or a 5 hour study session and everything in between.

I came to Baker specifically looking for a Bible for teenage girls. I asked one of the ladies there if she could show me what they had. She was extremely helpful showing me the various options they had to offer and took a real interest in my search and what I picked out. I also love the peaceful, cozy atmosphere at Baker with their coffee shop and comfortable chairs that invite you to linger.

The workers are rude about the mask agenda. I was fixing mine, trying figure out how to make it stay up and a woman who apparently FOLLOWING me and my friends whipped around the corner and yelled at me. I will never shop there again.

Coming to this bookstore was such a nice experience. I dont know why, but I somehow had no idea that there was such an immense amount of Christian books that have been published. The used books section is worth a peek just to experience the floor to ceiling shelves packed with all manner of Christian books. Lots of bargains to be had as well, plus cozy places to relax, nice snacks and a lovely gift area. A must visit for seekers or followers of faith in the western Michigan area.

There is no way that I hated this place! Quite the opposite, my husband purchased a Bible for me, a nice, leather covered one and expensive. The binding fell apart and some pages came loose. Baker Book House replaced that Bible with no problem! They were great. I will shop there for any reading materials.

Baker has a great assortment of Bibles, Christian music, inspirational literature, DVDs, childrens inspirational & educational materials, gifts, toys, church resources (communion elements, choir robes, etc.) and their own cozy coffeeshop. There are Bible Study materials and resources, and a huge used book area, sale & clearance items. Employees are friendly, helpful, and just generally seem to like their jobs and enjoy being there. I like that Baker has a wide selection of resources for seekers & new believers, all the way through doctorate level seminarians and professors. The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, I knocked it down a star because for being a Christian bookstore, they have an awful lot of secular stuff. They could have a much broader selection of Christian books instead of trying to be like all the other bookstores on 28th Street.

Our family lives about an hour away from Baker Book House so we do not get there very often. However, we look forward to visiting the store when we are in that area. We always enjoy the great service, helpful and friendly staff and the great selection of books, Bibles and items for the home that are available. We are always excited to take home the treasures that we find there. Thank you Baker for the great job you do in blessing families with wholesome items to feed our minds and hearts!

Very great store! They have a clearance section with overstock or books that are slightly damaged and you can find some pretty amazing deals. We got Systematic theology in 1 volume for only like 35$. They have a very nice coffee shop as well and are all super friendly!

I have enjoyed reading The Genesis Record by Henry M. Morris,the first book of five written by Moses.This book of the beginnings of the hand of God was so exciting. Now I would like to read Exodus,the second book of Moses, and so on, all five. Are these books published by Baker Book House? How can I receive them?

This is the gold standard for Christian bookstores. The biggest selection of books, Bibles, music, cards, gifts, and childrens books. The staff are some of the top experts in the country in their specialties, particularly in fiction. (Ask for Chris.) The Bible section is very large and comes with expert staff and they will do personalization (imprinting) on the Bible covers. They have an enormous selection of used and classic books, they regularly buy pastors entire libraries. A beautiful, fairly new store after a remodel. Coffee shop is excellent, and they have meeting rooms for groups. There is nothing quite like it, and I have been in hundreds of Christian bookstores.

It was okay. We went there to find new Bibles and not one representative approached us to offer assistance. We did get notified of the time when it was 15 minutes until close, and even then we werent offered assistance.The selection is massive, organized and a fairly clean store. The customer assistance was disappointing.

I love baker book house. There are so many books new.and used. Bible studies, fiction, new and used. There are movies and CDs and nice seating to kick back and look over what youre interested in. There is a coffee shop and the staff is friendly and helpful. They also have book signings which I was thrilled to get Charles Stanleys book emotions and speak to him as he signed it.
