My boyfriend and I went in a couple of days ago to trade in our truck and find a new vehicle. We had Paul helping us out. He was absolutely awesome. He not only helped us get into a brand new vehicle, but he talked with us the entire time while the process was going on. He was extremely friendly and I would recommend him to anyone. Every person at the dealership was awesome. We had a great experience. They made sure to thoroughly explain everything to us. Awesome place!

Made an appointment almost 2 months ago online for an oil change and tire rotation. In the meantime Ive had an issue with my car I just purchased not even 3 months ago and called the service center 5 times over a 2 month period and left messages for them to call me. They never called back. I finally got ahold of a sales person that physically walked to the person thats supposed to be answering the phone and told them to answer my call. Talked to said gentleman and asked him to add looking at the issue Im having with my new car to my appointment. Got heretical and was told by the guy at the counter he couldnt find my appointment. I then told him that the gentleman answering the phone found it just fine when I finally got ahold of someone here. He then looks it up another way and says, oh, here it is. Then tells me that they cant look at my issue today because I have 5 people ahead of me. I have an appointment. He says that sometimes on line appointments dont show up on their lists of appointments and that it will be an hour and a half. Its now been 2 hours and Im Still sitting here!!!! This is absolutely ridiculousl!!!

My experience at Summit Place Kia West was EVERYTHING and more! I was looking to get a 2013 but instead walked away with a 2018, with affordable monthly payments. Myles was AMAZING, he literally answered questions before I could even ask and even ones I didn’t even think of asking. My wife and I both bought brand new cars at the Plainfield summit dealership.My wife had a slow tire leak and brought it there to have the tire looked at and the oil changed. We dropped $60,000 at that dealership. They told her the tire had 3 nails in the sidewall and it would cost $128 to fix. So my wife went to a nearby tire business and there were no nails in the sidewall and it was an easy $18 leak repair. Now she doesn’t even know that they changed the oil either. Won’t be going back there ever again. Oh and when they say oh we won’t pull your credit more than 1x and then pulled it 8 times ——- smh horrible way to run any business. Especially during hard times

The best people that have ever dealt with! In search of my Telluride, I spoke with about 10 different dealerships in MI, OH, IN, and IL. Summit was by far the kindest group of people. They kept me informed of the delivery date for the one I wanted, and continued to update me, all the way to arrival. They are a great group of people, who never once treated me with little respect, like most sales people do. I highly recommend Summit Place Kia! I was having a really tough time finding a car but we were lucky enough to have Lynn working with us. I was very skeptical of buying from a dealer but Lynn was unlike any other we had worked with before. She was never pushy, always fun and friendly, and was there to help us- even if buying the car didn’t work out- she stayed extra hours to assist us in getting insurance, bank loan, and more sorted out. I seriously can’t thank her enough. Some day far from now, if I ever need another new car, I will come back and sincerely hope to work with her again. Summit Place is extremely lucky to have a salesperson like her.

I bought a car for my son on 8/6. I wasnt with my son at the time. The guy working with him kept randomly walking away and wouldnt answer questions clearly.. They wouldnt let my son leave the parking lot on his test drive, assured us the only was changed.. 40 days later the engine seized due to no oil. Now car has been sitting for little over 2 weeks waiting for a new engine.

I would like to start by saying everyone that works here was very friendly and Robert was great to work with. I’d buy a car from him again and if my review was based solely on the people I’d give them a 4.5-5. However the rest of the experience was a real whirl wind and I went through a lot of emotions! The finance team was so busy due to the event that was going on that they couldn’t keep what cars were being sold and to who they were being sold to straight. There was 30 mins to an hour that I wasn’t sure what car they had financed for me. At the end of the day everything was sorted out and I ended up with the car I wanted.

Then I give them a second chance to buy a second vehicle and send me a text that the car was ready after waiting for it for a long time and next day they text me that the car is sold. I was looking for a very specific make and model of vehicle. Due to CV19 I was told the flow of new inventory was slowed. I worked with Michael G for 4 weeks on checking in about when the vehicle I wanted would show up. It missed its delivery, so he took it upon himself to figure out when it would show up. He texted me when it arrived and I was met at the dealership by DeMarcus. Who was extremely courteous and easy to work with. He made the process simple, quick, easy to understand, and very pleasant. One star. Will never recommend this dealership. Went in sat for over a hour. Had no communication with the sales person. Didnt even introduce himself to me. Kept leaving the desk he was helping me at. At one point I sat for over 30 minutes with out knowing what he was doing. Finally walked out. Called to ask for the manager nothing. No call back.

This has to be the worst car dealership in West Michigan. We are looking at purchasing a new Telluride and this is our local Kia dealership. I have called at least 5 times in the middle of the day and no one answers. I finally got ahold of someone after a few days of trying and the guy seemed more bothered that I had questions than interested in answering them. I gave him my contact info to send me some info on a few cars they had and to my surprise never heard from him again. I guess selling cars and following up with people is not a priority at this dealership so we will gladly drive out to the other dealership to make our purchase as they answered the phone, answered all questions and provided some valuable follow up info. I would highly recommend going anywhere else besides this Kia dealership.

I have bought quite a few vehicles in the 30 years I have been driving and dealt with quite a few dealerships and by far summit west kia is the worst dealings i have ever had and I wasnt even able to finish the deal I talked to a salesman last Thursday and gotten approved for the used vehicle me and my wife wanted but was told that they were waiting for the title after waiting for a week they got the title I made plans to sign paperwork this Thursday and upon hours of waiting for a vin number to get insurance on it I finally got a text back after closing saying car I was getting had been sold and we would have to find another which upon fiding one was told now I need another $1000.00 down paymentNot going to happen not my fault they sold car out from under me

WHAT A GREAT PLACE TO BUY A CAR!! I do not like buying cars. KIA WAS NOT MY 1st CHOICE, I thought. After hours of online research looking for what I wanted I kept coming back to KIA. So, expecting a high pressure experience, I reached out to Summit Kia through their online portal. WOW!!! NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. I received a call from, Michael Griffin, sales person. I was expecting the hard sell even over the phone. What I received was a person who was interested in what my thoughts were, what my needs were, and what my wants in a car were as well. I made an appointment to go into the dealership and continue the discussion with Michael. What a GREAT, RELAXED, PROFESSIONAL showroom. I was greeted by a different sales persons who gave me a mask to wear, offered a beverage while I waited, and introduced me to Michael when he arrived. Michael and I talked for a while longer and I test drove a car that fit everything I needed it to be. We talked financing. It didnt work out and I left the dealership without a new car and the promise from Michael that he would continue to be working for me to find MY car. Michael and I communicated via email for two weeks. We talked cars and financing. I was worried Michael would move on to another customer leaving me to have to go someplace else. HE DIDNT!! Last Saturday, I called Michael because I need a car. I said here are my ideas and offered 4 different vehicles to work with. He said he could do 3 of the 4. I left for the showroom. After a short discussion, I made my decision. Michael was able to get me into the car I actually wanted at a better rate and payment then I would have been able get the first time I saw him. I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE LOOKING FOR A NEW OR USED VEHICLE TO SUMMIT KIA WEST!! Ask of MR. MICHAEL GRIFFIN. Tell him Kimber Decker sent you his way!! At first the experience was good, I was helping an elderly friend purchase a much needed car on a strict budget. All signs were pointing to a good experience until they kept blasting hard metal rock music to the point I had to ask them to turn it down so we could talk about the car. After choosing the vehicle and processing the paperwork they said they would have it detailed and call us when it’s done. They called us the next day, it was never detailed and by our surprise a check engine light was on that wasn’t there during the test drive. When approaching to talk to the sales person (Austin) about the issues, he quickly brushed us away to someone else so that the customer he was working with wouldn’t hear our complaints. They delivered the car the next day with the check engine light still on. All opportunities for what could have been a good experience were only a smoke and mirrors buy it and then not care.

Wanted to buy a used car, and was told they couldnt sell it yet because they didnt have the title. I then asked if I could put a deposit on that vehicle, and was told they dont do deposits on used vehicles.I told them I really wanted the car, and I had cash in hand. The salesman said he would let me know when the car was available. They were great and fast! Worked with me and listened to what I was looking for. Came in super late in the day and got through the process faster than ever. Only downside and it is 1/2 my fault is that the engine cover was missing when I got it home and looked under the hood. I should have looked while there but I forgot. It’s just a weird thing to be missing. When I brought it to the attention of the sales rep. He said“ okay, when they look at the car they look over everything and they probably didnt put one on there because of the cost to get one and it isnt going to hurt anything.”To me that is just kind of off. Like why would they not have that on the vehicle or did they forget to put it back on after service. I wish they would have tried to right the situation instead of just blowing it off like it’s nothing.

When we met Samuel Rodriguez on the Summit Place Kia lot for the first time, he was friendly and knowledgeable. He was not high pressure but let us know he was available to answer any questions we had while we were looking at the cars. Later in the week we returned to the dealership, we asked for Samuel and began the process of test drives, comparing some different models and ultimately purchasing a car from Samuel. The experience was pleasant and educational for us. Sam answered all of our questions, knew all about the cars we tried and the one we ended up purchasing. He patiently guided us through the paperwork process, explaining each step. He introduced us to the Service and Parts managers. He introduced us to the technology available in the vehicle. This dealership was great! We got there close to closing time, but we never felt rushed or that we were keeping them from their evening plans. Sell you a vehicle with alot of issues. I didnt have car 1 day and check engine light co.es on. Granted I have warranty but I shouldnt have to buy a car then have it serviced the same week I buy it. Alot of issues and I checked carfax which was sent after I bought it. Says vehicle was in serious accident to have a collision expert check structural damage cause its been eafected by an accident. Makes me scared to even own this vehicle.

Monday I had the worse customer service of my life! I just bought a Vehicle from summit place Kia on plain field about two weeks go after a couple days I notice my vehicle started to sound loud so I took it to their repair shop to get it looked at. They quoted me 600 to fix my car. I was shocked because I just bought this car and I did not expect to have to pay this. I tried to reach out to my sales Person Austin and asked could he help me out with these repairs since I just bought the vehicle. He did not return any of my calls or text message for about two weeks. Than I go up there Monday and I ask to speak with a manager because I have not heard back from Austin. I then talk to Mindy who was THE Worse MANAGER! She did not want to help me she question me about the car and she proceeded to yell at me from across the room in front of the employees and she kicked me and my friend out of the store. I have never had customer service like this. I felt very discriminated against and not treated like a customer at all. I’m so shocked because I really though Kia Honored what they advertise in their commercials and radio. I should have NEVER Bought A Vehicle from them!

Complete waste of time! Dont buy a car there please go to a Ford or Jeep or Chevy dealership before going to this place. They will help and treat you 1000% better even if they cant get you want. They will try to help you get into something by working the price or some other options. Even Sundance is better atmosphere and can do alot more wheeling a dealing to help make that sale over Summit. Very disappointed much rather spend 1030am to 230pm with Sundance and walked away with a car than what happen at this place today!!!! Just nowDo not buy any warranties here as it is a waste of money. My fiancé bought a 2017 Chevy Malibu from here in 2018 with 32,504 miles. The couple salesmen we dealt with offered us the warranty packages we could add on. Saying that these are extended warranties and the one we ended up picking was the 60,000 mile warranty. They swore up and down that it was 60,000 miles from when we drove it off the lot. So in our minds we were covered up until 92,504 miles. Now her engine is acting up and needs some diagnosis and possibly 7,700 dollars worth of repair. They are now saying that it isn’t covered and that we bought the 60,000 odometer mile coverage after almost a month of no answering or not giving us a straight answer on if it was covered or not. We just want our warranty to be honored but they will not budge. Who would spend 2,400 dollars on a warranty that covers only 28,000 miles. This dealership is full of liars and scammers. We had a total of 4 people tell us we were covered until 92,504 miles.

This dealer is one of the biggest rip offs out there. If u want to pay double for everything this is the place. And the extra insurance for coverages of medical or road service is nothing but ur money down the drain. They were supposedly working with me on my loan till today they came and took my car that’s almost paid off

She went through all the details of the paperwork with me, and explained everything with warranties. She and the other sales reps, Mike Burke, were awesome! Had a great experience purchasing our brand new Kia Seltos from Micheal. We were undecided which model we wanted to purchase when we went to the lot however Micheal did a great job helping us through the different deals they were running on the models we were interested in. He was able to answer all of our questions and was very knowledgeable about all of the vehicles we wanted to look at and test drive. He was able to help us negotiate a better price for our trade in, find us a lower financing rate without us even asking him to and get us an extra add on I requested for the vehicle we purchased. He also called to follow up multiple times to check on how we liked the new vehicle and update us on the extra add on which is on order. Would work with Micheal again on future purchases.

I purchased a 2011 GMC Sierra from Summit Place Kia Wests pre-owned lot. I brought the truck home and noticed it had a gas leak. The dealership fixed the issue at no cost the next day even though I didnt buy a warranty with the vehicle.

This is not a review about Summit Place Kia West but about two of its employees that work in the service department.First off is Keith Cox, hands down he is an awesome guy and is the Service Manager.If you have any issues hell help you.He helped me figure out several issues with my then car and also ended up helping me get into a nice/functional vehicle later on.Second is Cory Bleeker, he is one of the service reps under Keith and is an overall great guy. He will do what he can to get you all figured out and into the service department without breaking a sweat. Very hardworking.I highly recommend these two employees.

The reason I gave it a three star is because the manager wanted to sit there and argue with us that the 2018 car had no scratches on it when you could clearly see that it did and said well Ill just drop the deal who wants to buy a new car with scratches on it he got really shady towards the end.. but we came up with a deal..

Absolutely wonderful experience. I had to turn in my lease from AZ and they totally took care of me amidst the crazy COVID pandemic. Everyone was extremely helpful and courteous. Every associate with whom we had contact was extremely friendly. Our salesman, Melvin earned 5 stars by himself. Melvin was very friendly and personable and expressed a desire to help us like weve not experienced previously. Our sales agent was wonderful and very helpful. Financing company kia went through to get us financed wasn’t great. It was an obstacle just to drive the car off the lot after we were approved and signed all papers.
