I randomly decided to upgrade my vehicle a few weeks ago and was in between a brand new Subaru (from a different dealership) and a Range Rover. I was checking out Sharpes website to see what RRs they had in stock and a used Mercedes really caught my eye. I sent an email to get more info and within a few hours, Brett had contacted me to set up an appointment so I could check it out. Brett was super accommodating to my insane work schedule and was able to answer any and all questions I had (good and bad!) regarding the vehicle, servicing, etc. and was not pushy in any capacity -- I felt completely comfortable and believed he wanted me to make an informed decision as to which vehicle I purchased, even if I did not end up purchasing with him. We also discussed options for my old vehicle, and he even emailed me the CarFax report to assist in my selling it privately -- I was (and am) super impressed and would recommend Brett to anyone in the market for a vehicle! This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had! My husband and I were looking to transition to an all electric car and met with Brian regarding the IPace. We recently bought a Durango through Sharpe with Bob. The buying process was very easy and smooth. The vehicle had two issues we noticed when test driving. They replaced the broken plastic piece as we requested and the other issue we had required the battery to be reset. Reseting the battery did not fix the issue, so we reached out again to Bob. He was very responsive and we are taking it in to have it fixed on Saturday courtesy of the dealership. I appreciate the ease of communication and the follow through on fixing these items.

I recently leased a beautiful 2020 MINI Cooper Countryman S from Sharpe Cars and had Bob Fairchild as my client advisor. I couldn’t be happier with my experience, or the car. Bob was professional, gregarious, patient, enthusiastic, and unassuming. I wanted a rare color combination; no problem. I’m 6’6” and feared I wouldn’t fit well in a MINI; Bob showed me how well MINIs fit me and nearly everyone else. And in spite of living nearly an hour-long drive from Sharpe, I’ll happily come back for my next MINI, too.

Emily Fortier at the Sharpe Collection is the best! The process was seamless and made for a 5 star experience. I started out driving a few BMWs that didnt meet my needs. I asked what would be a good fit, and narrowed it down to two cars. Ultimately I went with a used car on their lot Emily suggested, the Lexus IS 350 F Sport (pictured below). On the delivery day there were a few things I noticed the detail team missed, but while I signed paperwork, Emily took care of it. We didnt plan on finding a fabulous car from a dealer. We were going to buy from Carmax but instead found a great deal at Sharpe Cars. I called early Monday morning after July 4th weekend and Bob F. picked up the line and told me to come on in. I didnt want some salesperson selling me, and thats exactly what I got. A friendly, cool and honest guy telling us about the vehicle. We loved the SUV and Bob. We also got a chance to ride in a Mini Cooper, and even though we bought a different brand, Im sold on Mini Coopers! Definitely check Sharpe Cars out and dont hesitate to buy from them. I was was online checking out the local used car lots when I found what I was looking for at The Sharpe Collection. I sent them an e-mail asking if it was still available to which Shaun Waid replied that it was. I made an appointment drive the car and meet with Shaun. The car was everything I was hoping for and Shaun answered all the questions I had so we closed the deal. Shaun is a great guy to work with.
I went in this place vehicle in mind cash in pocket, but my offer of 1 grand off of their current price on a vehicle was too much for them. The first guy told me he would discuss my offer with someone higher up, then comes back with an additional 600$ to the original price, on top of taking my current car as a trade in. Then the other guy comes out and offers me a plan to finance the vehicle even though I would be paying the vehicle in full. He then told me they cannot take any money off the original price because they have specialized mechanics for the brands they have in lot. They were trying to play me dumb. Not only that, but the guy i talked to told me as a student he, focused on getting a car that will get him from A to B instead of the car I was trying to buy. Which I took as him saying I cant afford it, to possibly pressure me further into taking their offer. This car was my graduation present to myself after working my tail off the past 5 years of my life. I guess I thought a place like this with their brands would be more promising, guess not. I almost didnt write this review, but I left their feeling disappointed in the staff I encountered. I feel as if I was older, white, or a male, I would have left that lot with that vehicle.

Had an excellent experience with Shaun Waid at Sharpe purchasing a Tesla that had been traded in by another customer. We identified a few things that needed fixing and he was able to have them taken care of before the purchase. The car has been serving me well now for the past couple months with no issues.
Service was exemplary. Even for my meager used car purchase I was treated as I would expect one buying the 850M to be treated. I was in and out with my “new” 2013 Mercedes C300 in two hours. My car was delivered freshly washed with a full tank of gas. Props to their service department as well who did their best to try to keep me in my old car. I opted to buy here based on how I was treated in service. Props to Mandy.

Painless and overall a great buying experience. Even after taking delivery and noticing a small plastic door cover had gone missing, they stepped up and ordered the replacement for me for no charge. I purchased my first Mini one week ago at the Sharpe Collection. Shaun Waid was my salesman and I had an excellent experience with him. He knows his product well and helped me find what I was looking for.Not my first or fifteenth vehicle purchase so I have met several people in this business. Shaun is the best, most attentive, low pressure, salesman I have met. Nichole in the finance department was helpful and delightfully cheerful!. Great product, great staff, great vibe.
UPDATE 2: This dealership is awful in my opinion. Stay away at all costs when buying or wanting service done on your vehicle. The rear differential they told me was bad is not bad. I had it checked by two other shops and both told me nothing was wrong with it. This dealership is unethical and will scam you. STAY AWAY FROM ALL SHARPE BRANDS.UPDATE: When buying a used car, ask to see the items that were inspected or get the vehicle inspected by another shop before purchase. I found out after the purchase I have a bad rear differential ($4,000), bad wheel bearing ($1,100), three bent rims ($1,000), and have already replaced brakes, a battery, and a brake wear sensor and have only driven 2,000 miles. I will not be buying another vehicle from Sharpe BMW unless I get it inspected by a 3rd party first, I DO NOT TRUST THEM.READ ABOVE FIRST!A first class BMW, Land Rover, Jaguar, and Mini dealership. They do right by their customers. Their staff is friendly and really wants you to be happy with your vehicle shopping and purchase. For the past 4 months, I have been looking for a vehicle with certain criteria. It just so happened that I found the vehicle at Sharpe on the used car lot. At first I passed it up because it was located at a dealership. After a few more weeks of searching, we finally made the choice to set up a test drive. What I was expecting from a dealership was the total opposite at Sharpe. Shaun Waid and the rest of the sales staff were very easy to work with, best group I have worked with. After our test drive we found some items that were broken. Over Christmas I had two weeks to find a new car. Unfortunately, my Fiance had totaled my last car so I didnt have much time, and not as much money as I would have wished to find a car with. I was really looking into getting a MINI. Shaun was the sales associate I was dealing with. Even though we both knew there was nothing on the lot, at the moment, that was in my budget, he still took the time for my fiance and I to drive around a few of the vehicles. He answered all my questions and was truly interested even though he knew I probably wouldnt be buying from them. There was no pressure sales tactics and no games. I may not have bought my car through them, but with how far out of his way Shaun went, they will be the first place I stop for a car next time. I highly recommend buying a car from Sharpe! If I would have had more time to search for a car I would have waiting to buy one from them due to how well I was treated.Before I stopped at Sharpe, I was about 60% sure I wanted a MINI. I had previously heard very good things about this dealership. I recently bought a 2011 BMW X5 when I was driving the display read that I had a loss of power it then stalled out, I drove directly to the dealership. They told me they would diagnose it for $85. The woman also mentioned that I was 300 miles behind in an oil change, so I authorized to get one. I also asked to get an estimate on the back lights I was missing. When I went to pick up my car I was told that it was not running and it was not fixed. They had done the oil change and put in $400 spark plugs. I am positive I never approved that. Especially The car was not running. I felt the customer service woman was very condescending and rude. She said I did ask for the shocks, I did not. Then she said sarcastically “I bet you don’t remember asking about the lights” I do remember asking about the lights you can imagine my shock that the bill was $770 and the car did not run. I definitely will never use Sharppe BMW Again I’ll take my business to Holland or Lansing. Not an ethical business And would not work with us.
I am writing this review on behave of my Uncle. Based on the the way my Uncle was treated I believe this dealership profiles people based on what people look like (race). My uncle is Venezuelan he he has been in this country for 25 years. He came to this country to live the American dream. He went into the Land Rover dealership looking to purchase a new vehicle. The sales manager Paul was very dismissive spending a short amount of time and giving him limited information. After calling back to the dealership the sales manager ( Paul ) accused my Uncle of being an exporter and he was sending the truck to China. He then told him that after they googled his house that it was not the type of house a Land Rover customer would live in ! What kind of country do we live in when sales staff can dictate how you spend your money. When did sales staff have the right to tell you that your house is not good enough to purchase such a vehicle. When did we replace customer service with a smile with allegations and supremacy. Paul should be ashamed of himself!
I just picked up my second Mini. I loved it so much that I got the exact same car, same color, everything. The only difference, it is a 2015. Love the car, love the dealership, love the service. Love the Mini! It is an attention getter.

Wanted to share a recent poor experience I had when dealing with the Sharpe Collection dealerships. I was very interested in a used vehicle they had for sale, called and spoke to a sales person multiple times. The sales person assured me the car was clean and good to go, I would be traveling 5 hours from Chicago to see this car and stressed that. He even talked me into putting a deposit down to hold the car. When I arrived the car was a Mona Lisa if you will, pretty in photos but close up there was so many scratches and minor dings it was a joke. I can deal with some scratches ok, so lets test drive the car. Again mind you I had already put a deposit down and had cash in hand to drive the car back to Chicago that afternoon and the sales person was very aware of that. Seconds into the test drive I notice the alignment was dangerously off, to the point where if i let go of the steering wheel on the free way i would be in the side wall within 100 feet.I was insulted that the alignment issue was never mentioned, and when I asked if they could do an alignment that day and they said they couldnt, they would just deduct $100 off....aka they knew it wasnt just a quick alignment fix. So I was supposed to drive the car 230 miles home and just deal with it?! No way I was so insulted. Then as you would imagine, my deposit took an entire week to get back. I even had to call someone the following Friday afternoon, 5 business days later and ask about it again.Very displeased with this place and I highly recommend staying away from any used car on their lot!!

I purchased a pre-owned vehicle at Sharpe on December 2016, it was a great experience, Emily Fortier helped me with the process.It was a snowy weekend, i took a couple of cars for test drive before deciding, every time Emily hand me the keys for test drive, it looked like the car came out of a garage and not parked outside, snow was thoroughly cleaned and heaters were run before she handed the keys, helped me to concentrate on driving experience and make a quick decision. Being a Saturday afternoon, she help to get in touch with the insurance person on time so that i could make the insurance transfer and drive home the car on same day. I recommend fixing appointment with Emily if planning to visit Sharpe.Overall it was a wonderful buying experience. Wishing everyone at Sharpe a Happy and Successful New Year.

The car was CPOs with 60K miles on it, they helped me ship it out to NJ and I had total trust in what they showed me and told me about the car. It arrived EXACTLY as promised. I brought home my BMW MINI from Sharpe Collection GR last evening. I am super happy with the way I was attended right from my first email till I drove the car away, thanks to Jason Deutsch- my sales person. All in all, Awesome service, helpful staff and well-done showroom that suits the brand MINI aptly.
I purchased a CPO BMW 328 Xi Wagon from them, somehow the title was lost at the dealership. Its been 60 days and we still have not received it. The temporary registration on the vehicle expired 21 days ago (we can no longer legally drive the car). The State of Michigan website says its 7-10 days or $5.00 more for a same day title replacement service. The Sharpe Collection have been very unresponsive to my calls, from the Sales Manager on down. I havent received one response regarding the status of the title or have they returned my phone calls. Caution extremely poor customer service!

Buying a new car is typically something a person goes into very excited!! Well, for me, I was apprehensive, nervous, fussy, inpatient and overall not real pleasant at the beginning of my journey. It took all of about 5 minutes in Jeremy Dutchers office for him to recognize all the craziness going on inside my head; 5 minutes for him to completely take the reins, validate how I was feeling and move me forward to where I should have been from the start, SO VERY EXCITED! He was patient with all of my ridiculous requests and never pushed me into any decision, even though he could see clearly what was best!! What an amazing experience!!! Not only did he find the most perfect car for me when I didnt even know what perfect looked like, there was an amazing team that took care of me every step of the way!!!! They dealt with the details, the paperwork, the indecisiveness and all the intangibles while I simply showed up, signed the papers and drove away; not just as another Sharpe BMW customer but one of the family!!!! I recently bought a 2010 BMW X5 from Sharpe BMW, my salesman, Ric was both helpful and non-pressuring and I had an enjoyable experience buying my car. While there was little flexibility in price from the dealership their service department has made up for it. I order mats for my vehicle and while they did mess up in ordering the correct mats they mailed my the correct trunk mat to my house at no charge. However, when I took delivery of my vehicle there was some gunk in the second rows drink holder, not a big deal but still kind of gross. Also, I originally made a service appointment today, August 1st, on July 25th but Sharpe called me yesterday wanting to reschedule because they were overbooked. However, considering that they are repairing a very small rip in the front passenger seat I cannot exactly be overly demanding, especially since it is being preformed at no extra charge to me. Besides a few small issues I like my car and the service I have received.
We recently leased a new Mini Cooper from Sharpe and found the overall experience excellent. Living in Charlevoix we had some reluctance about working with a Grand Rapids dealer. We stopped by the dealership on the way home from a short trip and met with Shaun Waid, who gave us a great introduction to the Mini. After a test ride we were almost convinced. After getting home we talked with Shaun a couple of times and lined up the vehicle we wanted. He arranged to have the car delivered to us in Charlevoix. His work, and the excellent paperwork of Nicole made the whole transaction very smooth. We love our Mini and really appreciate the great service from Sharpe.

My familiy (wife and 2 young children) were in need of a replacement vehicle. We had been to 3 other dealers looking that day with a terrible experience at the first stop. I had almost given up for the day but we were driving by and stopped for 1 last stop. My wife and I were walking down the rows looking at there stock. Shaun came out the door and asked if we needed anything and we said we were just looking and he simply said ok and to let him know if we had any questions. That was the 1st thing I immediately noticed, they did not chase us around even when I told them as other dealers that day did. We saw 2 cars of interest and then I did go back to get Shaun. He was extremely friendly to talk to. He did not give us any type of pushy sales pitch. He was nothing but helpful and very polite and professional. We asked some questions and he gave us the answers. It was a very pleasent experience if you can believe buying a car is. We told him we were going to go home and think about it and he said ok sounds great again without any pressure. I cant say enough how much I appreciate that. We did decide to purchase one of the cars we looked at the next day. I called Shaun I told him we would take it (2005 BMW 530). My wife and I went back and the car was all ready to go with a full tank of gas. Even the paperwork was fast and freindly. Shaun went over all the details of the car and the functions with us and we were on our way. The whole experience start to finish was 1st class.
Purchased my second BMW through the sharpe dealership in grand rapids mi. worked with todd kerkstra, who found the bimmer i was looking for. had a few extra items added to the vehicle, signed papers in no time, went through orientation and drove off. ive had my first bmw 330xi for ten years (and still do) and hope to enjoy this bmw 550i xdrive for another ten more. cant say enough about the service i had on my first bmw. the sharpe collection dealership wants customers to feel satisfied, they delivered. i thoroughly enjoy driving the ultimate driving machines.

I just took delivery on I believe my 8th BMW from Sharpe. Ric Conkey and Bryan Dandurand were exceptional in their handling of my lease. My wife and I have driven BMWs fron Sharpe for a number of years and have never been disappointed in the customer service provided. My last vehicle was a departure from BMW and a mistake, I am happy to be back in my Beemer and back in the care of Sharpe service with Jason Bigelow. The entire process of buying a car was foreign to us, you see the last car we purchased was in 2003. Not wanting to walk into a dealership and have the proverbial salesmen swarm engulf us, we went to the dealer website, read the Bios for each of the Client Advisors and selected one that we thought would best fit what we were looking for in a salesperson. From day one we knew we had the right person! Ric Conkey spent every minute we asked for answering every question we had. His knowledge of the Sharpe inventory was amazing. Walking us through, step by step, the subtle differences of each model helped us make an educated decision. Yup, thats what we got, BMW 101, from the professor himself. Im certain that if youre looking for a vehicle you cant go wrong looking at the Sharpe Collection. The only issue we had was with the pricing policy - We understand it, doesnt mean we have to like it. When all is said and done though, there is no doubt, youre going to get the absolute best price possible........And..........the best driving vehicle. Our 2012 BMW 535ix is a dream to drive, a computer on wheels, awesome!
