We have been waiting for months for vents covers and a broken screen to be replaced. Now the trim has come off and needs replaced. Not to mention when we initially bought this Navigator, the wrong SUV was delivered and we were talked into taking this one instead. The screen was finally replaced and that’s it.What this service dept. likes to do is make appointments for items to be fixed then cancels them the day of the appointment. We have been given a variety of excuses ranging from the parts didn’t come in to taking the car for the day then letting us know the parts that did come in are broken, giving us the run around is their specialty. Also on one occasion they said they would do an oil change. When I came to pick up what should have been a car that was finally fixed with an oil change, the car wasn’t fixed (insert excuse). I asked how much for the oil change, he seemed surprised and said it was “on the house.” When I got into my car I had doubts an oil change was completed because they didn’t reset the settings nor was there a new sticker.The few weeks later another appointment to get the car fixed and they said they “had to do another oil change because I drove my car so much it needed it again.” Picked the car up still not fixed (insert excuse.)Now again this morning had an appointment for the car to be fixed and I get a call “they do not have the parts it’s back ordered.”Please learn from our mistake of purchasing a Lincoln Navigator from this business. Take your hard earned money and save your time by going elsewhere.

Update Fall 2021: Posting an updated review since my last from earlier this summer. After I posted I was contacted directly by the manager of the service center and they were wonderful in making up for my less than stellar experience earlier on in the year. Dale and his team are doing a wonderful job managing during a time when its extremely hard to find good team members and in a way that makes you feel heard/valued as a customer.Summer 2021: Weve been taking our SUV to Pfeiffer Lincoln for the last 4 years and recently the customer service and prices have taken a serious turn. Last month I took the car in for an oil change and when they rang me up it was more than double the usual cost - nearly $100!! We wont be taking our car there anymore for routine oil changes. We can get those down the street for less than half the price.Then, earlier this week I took the car in to get a noise checked out - an appointment that took two weeks to schedule because they were so booked up. Meanwhile, I was nervous Id get stranded on the side of a highway somewhere.They took care of the noise ($600 and 3 hours later) and when I went out to my car to leave noticed it wasnt washed - something they usually do. I didnt have the time to go back in and complain and ask why it hadnt been washed because I didnt have the time.Overall, Im disappointed with my recent experiences here. Were due for a new care in the next two years and will not be shopping for a Lincoln this time around. We had an Audi before this and their service, showroom, experience was by far better than at Pfeiffer.

Their service department is great. The guy I talked to explained all my options, and how much they would cost. An oil change included an inspection of my car, several different guys working on it/looking over it for almost an hour, and a wash. Its not a speedy-lube where youre cranked through in 10 minutes, and you wonder if they put everything back together correctly. Its a little more expensive, but Id rather pay more and know that they actually looked at my brakes to keep me and my family safe.

I needed an oil change. Joel was the guy who helped me. He was super nice and help me with the whole process! The one complaint I do have an oil change is nearly $100, this hasnt been the case in the pass. It would have been nice to know the oil change would nearly be double of what I usually pay!

Purchased a new F150 from Byron Center location as was surprising thrilled with the way they handled business as I have never even stopped in there. Was given a free oil change with my purchase and when it came time to use it they had sadly closed down this location. I called the Kentwood location and they graciously said they would accept the offer at their location so I scheduled an appointment. It was fast and the waiting area was clean with free drinks and snacks while you wait, I thought this is nice, I might have found my new dealer. Service guy comes out and says everything is all set, hands me my keys and go to leave. Open my door and immediately see grease from mechanic on my center council. Close my door and go get the service guy. He sends someone out to clean it right away in which he did ask if I was was happy which it looked good so i said yes. I leave a little upset but whatever. I then am driving down the road and notice the sticker was not replaced so I called to get the oil type and mileage/date of next service so I can update myself. Lastly, the next day, the center council is dry and still showing grease stains. Nice place, however I sincerely question the services received.

I bought my 2015 Dodge Dart from the 28th and Breton location and have been bringing it back for oil changes and service when a Dodge dealer is not required ever since. The service dept is top shelf! Craig, Joel, and the rest of the team are friendly, genuine, efficient, honest, and knowledgeable. When Mr. Pfeiffer was hanging around, he always made sure to say hello. 10/10 would recommend. Service Dept did not check transmission oil levels ...twice.Took car in 4 times for oil changes, $125 Transmission diagnostics, and a 80,000 mile checkup all in a year... We told them about a transmission issue we noticed and asked about the oil drip also.Nothing was done or found. Said transmission was 100% perfect.For the oil leak, They added a dye into motor oil... Motor oil never got low as that was not the drip.Transmission really has bad shifting problem, so we scheduled an appointment but could not get us in till following week.I could not wait... so I Finally checked the transmission level myself only to find it extremely low and had to add in 3 quarts.Called service, and all they could say was 1 word sorry....Just seems the service mechanic never did his job. When YOU pay extra to have something done, you expect it to be done. 1. Check the transmission level, 2. check for leak.I emailed them 3 times... 2 times for the Car History report for work done there, and 1 time about this Transmission issue... no replies at all, thus this google review.

Service dept. - Without going into specific detail, Something has drastically changed with this place for the worse, unfortunately... Not sure what, but this happened in the last year or so, being that it is 6/2021.This place was never that great to begin with, but now its just not even worth going there. The customers definitely come last at this established car dealership. And dont dare question anything, as it will be met with intense aggressive resistance!

Disappointing customer service and the oil change was nearly $100 this will be the last time I will go there. As a luxury brand receiving lackluster customer service should be 100% not tolerated. If your going to charge a person $100 for an oil change the customer should at least get a smiling representative, welcoming environment with outstanding service. I would have gotten the same or better service if I had gone to any $19.99 quick lube oil change place on the side of any road in any town. I have been trying to be a loyal customer to Pfeiffer for 5 years now. I tolerated the fact if I question anything I get met with extreme resistance I tolerated every time I took my car in for service I would get back a vechile with some level of additional damage. But when you take a $39 oil change and up to $92 without informing me telling me at the register once the surive has been completed is the last straw. If you reading this go take your business else where.

The service department is terrible. Not what you’d expect from a luxury car dealer. I brought my car in for 60k mile service, and some modem issues, and they gave me my car back with no 60k service done, just a simple oil change—but with no multi-point inspection, no tire rotation, and for twice as much as every other oil change I’ve got from them before. They didn’t even look at the modem. They give Lincoln a bad name, I’m going to have to find a new place to bring my car and pay someone else for the services they didn’t want to give me I guess.

I got the oil changed on my wifes 2015 Lincoln MKZ today. It cost $92.39 without a tire rotation. Last time it was $56.00 . I wont be back. Highway Robbery! Avoid at all costs. I gave it 1 star because there wasnt a lesser option.

Found some deals here on a website so I decided to stop in. Tom did a great job taking care of us. When we did the test drive he didnt ride with us so we didnt feel pressured or like we had a babysitter. Gave us the freedom to enjoy the car and talk about is freely during the drive. Saw a vehicle posted on both Cargurus and Pfeiffers website, pretty low miles for a good price, under our price cap. We had been looking at a similar one, but the Pfeiffer car was a much better deal...so we thought. When I called to set up a time to see it, the salesman told me it hadnt been serviced or detailed yet, and that would take a week. Then he said there was a mix-up on the mileage...instead of 69,XXX, it had 154,XXX miles. He immediately launched into a bait-n-switch of suggesting other cars that were at or above our top price cap. Now I see the car is off Cargurus, and is on their site at 158,XXX miles. I dont do old-school sales techniques. Just be up front and honest, offer a good car at a fair price and Ill deal with you. Not Pfeiffer again.

Something called a steering gear broke. Turned my 2017 MKX into a paper weight. $3,000 to fix it. No help from Lincoln or the dealership. Not OK. How many steering gears do you think Lexus replaced this year? Faulty parts and a money grab by the dealer.

I would like to take a moment to tell people living in Grand Rapids that I have a great deal of respect for the way that Tom Elliott does business. He is a straight shooting, customer serving, honest person in a business not known for these things. In all the years I have known him (almost 30), he has never steered me wrong. His style is to listen and to educate you if you need it ... but to sell you the right car for you rather than *some car they would like to get off the lot.* If I lived closer to Grand Rapids than I do now, Tom would be the first person I would go to to ask my honest car questions in need of honest car answers. It is with great disappointment that I am writing this review. I took my car in for a oil change and asked that they check a low tire. They told me it would be $82.39 because my air filter was dirty and they had to reseal my rim. He said if I continue to lose air I will have to replace the wheel since the rim was pitted and it could not be fixed. I did of course lose air so he told me to contact a wheel company and to just get 4 because one stock wheel was about the same as 4 non stock. I called and asked how much it would be to have them mounted and he told me $60, fine, the wheels came in I had them mounted and he said that will be $149.03. After complaining that I was told it would be $60 he took $20 off. Still paid over twice what I was quoted. Drove straight home approximately 14 miles and woke up the next morning to a low tire warning.☹️ I took it in and he said one of the valve did not seat properly and would not even look me in the eye. I went out to the service area and watched what tire they put back on witch was not the tire he showed me the valve was bad on. I get to work knowing he was lying to me and chef my rear passenger tire which was the one I complained about being low in the first place and guess what? Yep, a brand new plug was put in to stop a leak. When I called and said what is going on he told me he had no idea the mechanic put a plug in that tire. What a lie. They will not refund any of the $946.00 I spent on their recommendation knowing full well it should have cost me just the $22.00 for the plug in the first place. He said I must have ran over a nail in that 15 miles on my way home the day they mounted the wheels. FYI they also did not top off my fluids during my oil change which I paid for. Ladies beware because they will rip you off because they think you are simply to stupid to check their work! Liars and theifs! After note, the tire they said could not be fixed because of pitting was actually dented and fixed for $100.00

I don’t usually write reviews but after the wonderful service I received at Pfeiffer used cars, they deserve more than just 5 stars! From the moment I walked in the door to walking out with a new ride everyone was very helpful, listened to what I was looking for, kept me in my budget (and to my surprise was able to get me a lower interest rate and monthly payment than expected), and just all around have the best customer service. This was my first time purchasing from a dealership and it went above my expectations! I worked with Patrick in used cars and I would highly recommend his service and expertise. I worked with Ray in financing and he also is highly recommended! Would I go back to them when I’m in the market again someday? Absolutely! Employee stole set of Apple Airpods during an oil change. Kept having to call as service manager never called me back. When I finally go to him he treated me as inconvenience, never apologizing fro his employees actions. They bought me a new set of headphones but I had to make a separate trip to retrieve and no compensation or apology was given. Ive bought 3 vehicles from and have been a long time customer. I understand employees that make bad decisions but a service manager with a bad attitude and no sense of empathy for the situation has ruined my opinion of the company. I reached out to other members of the company and never received a response.

Review for the Service Department: From my phone call with Cal to Zachs assistance upon my arrival, Pfeiffer was professional and courteous, my appointment was scheduled quickly and my stay was short. This is due to a well run shop that is large enough to accommodate a lot of vehicles. The offices as well as the lounge waiting area are squeaky clean and updated. The Service staff is very matter of fact about the cars issues and dont try to oversell service or repairs. An overall positive experience. 2016 MKX Reserve.

It was almost like he was more interested in ensuring we got the car we wanted rather than selling us a car. Jim VanLierop was excellent to work with. I had to have it serviced less than a month after getting it and Gregg in the service department was great. I intended to use the shuttle service to get to work when my vehicle was getting fixed, but the normal drivers were not available that early. Aldin who normally does not do that was able to bring me to work and he was outstanding. He even offered to pick me up later when the normal shuttle service would have been done for the day. Aldin is a great young man and an asset to the team.

The overall experience was good. my salesperson, Savannah, was great but I feel like the deal could have been better. I kept getting told it was going to wholesale as a reason why they wouldnt do the things to it that I feel they should have. they did address a couple items but ultimately charged me for them because it was going to wholesale anyway and they didnt want to drop anymore money into it. Also the detailing was a bit suspect but they stepped up and addressed with me and it was resolved...so kudos to them for that!!

My father-in-law was looking for a specific used Lincoln and Pfeiffer had what he wanted on their lot. I called and spoke with Dan White to explain that he wanted to not just look at the car, but, hoped to buy the car and drive it home the same day he looked at it. The car was showroom ready for my father-in-law when we showed up. Dan patiently walked through all of the features of the car (some more than once) to help my father-in-law learn how to use them. Dan was instrumental in making the purchase of this car a wonderful experience for my father-in-law. This dealership is far above anything Ive experienced in the past with Ford dealerships, as Ive owned 7 Expeditions over the last 20+ years. This time, I decided to treat myself to a new 2019 Navigator Reserve; and the professionalism I received at this dealership was so superior to anything I had encountered in the past. Theres no pushy attitude, or urgency on the part of the salesperson to make a sale. Its like dealing with the expert salespeople youd expect on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills....but without the arrogance. Now that I have this Navigator, Ill never be able to go back to the highest grade Expedition. No comparison.

Its somewhat counterintuitive to think that needing service for your vehicle could make you feel good about it. But that’s exactly what happens each time I have either routine maintenance or warranty service on my Lincoln 2020 Aviator Black Label. Not only is my Service Advisor, Craig, thorough in his explanations for the services but he’s also a terrific representative for the dealership. Craig’s service technician team is terrific even “behind the scenes.” Finally, I want to give a shout-out to each of the drivers who have picked up and dropped off my vehicle 30 miles or so from the Grand Rapids dealership; each has been an absolute pleasure with whom to have a great chat. Great job Pfeiffer Lincoln!

Pfeiffers service department is a very professional and welcoming place. Although we had many issues with our vehicle that took many days to complete, we were offered a loaner car, updates on how things were going, etc. After explaining to Zach from service how long we planned to keep the car and how we planned to use it in the next few years, he helped find parts that were a reasonable price and appropriate for our car, along with offering advice about tires.We appreciate the time and efforts to accommodate our needs very much.

I had a regular oil change needed and was able schedule same day for an appointment. Service was professional and fast. I woul only recommend employees introduce themselves to better build relationships with customers and give them a person to want to see for every return visit.

Zach McKeever was my service writer and he did a great job in getting the repair to my Lincoln MKT done. He worked quickly with my warranty company and set expectations correctly with timing for starting repair on the car. Had a couple snags, one can be blamed on the postal service with shipping the part, and the other was so minor I just stopped by for a 20 min fix (mechanic missed one electronic connection in door). For that inconvenience they washed the car without me even asking for anything, a nice gesture. Zach also continued to be helpful after the fix with another question.I would use their service department again. Thank you Zach and others behind the scenes that I did not meet!

Best service department in the world. Service writers are extremely helpful and answer any and all questions I have. Tech staff know their stuff. New service drive and write up area is like driving into the Pearly Gates (at least how I imagine them).In all a wonderful experience every time I go there. Having a car serviced every 5,000 miles doesnt sound like a pleasurable experience, but the people at Pfeiffer make it really comfortable and easy. Came in because tire pressure light was on. Decided to have oil change also. They said they could get me right in. I waited 2 hours in their lobby. Thats way too long. Also my console stuff was rearranged. They did not take old oil change sticker off my windshield and did not put up new one. Im not sure I want to use them again

He was honest, no pressure, and had a personalized approach that we really appreciated. Tom even stayed past closing time on a Saturday to make sure he had answered all of our questions. When I found a truck here I inquired and was denied by their lenders so I went to my credit union and got approved. When I called back to setup a test drive the sales rep I dealt with acted as if I was lying about being approved and was very short spoken towards me. After selling me the truck he even went as far as to make a comment regarding my credit score and being lucky to get financed as if it was any of his business. I now have had the truck 30days and the transmission has went out along with the fuel pump and front end work needs done so Ive been without a vehicle for 2wks and the respsonse I got from the dealership was sorry. I wont spend a penny here again.
