This place is fantastic. I had a recent accident, they got my vehicle in quickly and continued to communicate throughout the repair. Keep in mind my vehicle is 10yrs old from Florida, so no body rot or other issues with the body panels. Their paint harmony to adjacent panels was spot on, no contaminants in the paint on panels they sprayed, all body lines and gaps were aligned very well. For a truck like mine they showed that they are quality driven with their work. Worth mentioning that when I picked up my truck it was fully detailed in and out, a nice surprise. Great group of people to work with.

Had a truck and trailer have a blowout on the trailers wheels and sideswiped and ripped out my rear corner of my bumper on my 03 Acura RSX-S A-spec. With this being my weekend/show car it was extremely important to me that I bring it to a place that could not only replace the bumper with a OEM bumper but paint match it extremely well as there would be tons of eyes on this car and with that I had heard about koenes from some car friends and the work they did DID NOT DISAPPOINT! This is the third collision repair done by Koenes for me (no I am not accident prone, people have a knack for running into me). My BMW was struck by someone else and due to the year of the vehicle it was close to being totaled. The car means more than anything to me and I could care less about get a check from the insurance company. Tom at Koenes went to bat for me with the insurance company and got it repaired. The work done by the technicians is flawless. They will not cut corners and keep you informed the whole steps of the way. My business partner recommended Koenes to me with my first collision work. I would not consider going anywhere else.

Great experience at Koenes Auto Body after I reduced the deer population with my truck. One thing I value with anything auto related is convenience and Koenes made the entire process extremely easy and convenient. They did great work to fix my truck (as Im sure many other shops are capable of) but more importantly they kept me updated on progress and made pickup/dropoff easy. The team at Koenes handled my windshield claim in the matter of days. Handled everything for me. I cannot begin to recommend this facility for any cosmetic or detailing needs. I hope to not have to utilize their services (because that means something happened to my car) again but if needed I will be calling them first.

I had my 2015 Tahoe repaired by Koenes and they did a really great job. It was hit in the front but now you would never know it. John communicated with me via email through the whole process and I am so happy with the outcome! Very reasonably priced and top notch work.

Dropped off my car Sunday night and it was ready Monday afternoon. When I first brought it in for an estimate, I hadnt made an appointment but was waited on right away. The emailed me a quote within a few hours. Matt the estimator gave me options,. My car is 7 years old. Very professional business. Ive used them a few times.

Took my car in this morning for a quote on rust repair (this can be a very atypical request for most body shops, as many are reluctant to do it). This was truly reflected in the quote I was given *$9,500* for a car worth half of that value... (the car is in prime condition for its age, aside from a 4” rust spot). Quarter panel jobs at many other local shops are about half of the price as well. I was referred by some [car enthusiast] buddies and old coworkers to this shop as they have praised the work they’ve seen from the shop. I would’ve liked to have had a different outcome. This place may perform outstanding work for some, but when they don’t want to perform the task, it clearly shows in their conduct to their customers and reflects in their quote; one star out of generosity.

I’ve had two body repairs done here. In both cases, the work was good and finished on time. On the last repair, they put a slight crease in a window molding. I wouldn’t have noticed. However, Koenes pointed it out to me and said they would order the necessary part and replace it.I like dealing with a company that doesn’t try to hide its mistakes, hoping that the customer won’t notice. If I need another repair, I know where I’ll go.

I went to Koenes off a recommendation from a friend a couple weeks back. I stopped in for a quote and spoke with Jeff who was prompt and got me my quote quickly. They have just recently fixed my truck for me and did a terrific job on it. Cant even tell it was ever hit. What honestly made me write this review though is that when I got my vehicle back from them, it had been washed and cleaned inside and out. I so appreciate the little things like that and that is what makes these guys a cut above the rest. Clearly they are one of the largest body shops in the area and deservedly so. Best body shop Ive ever dealt with. The process from beginning to end was as painless as getting your car repaired can be. Koenes had arranged with enterprise to pick me up from their shop and had a car ready for me to take when I got there. My car was completed on time and I was able to simply leave my rental car in Koenes parking lot and drop my keys in their drop box. The repair looks excellent and the metallic red paint is matched perfectly. Koenes is one of the only places I would trust to repair my car.

We took our BMW to Koenes after hitting a deer. We decided while it was there to also have them detail it. Not only did the repair look amazing with perfect paint, the whole car looked like new. Everyone there was awesome to work with and they were super fast. I highly recommend them!

Great auto body shop! I was recommended to come here by my regular trusted mechanic who services my other car. My mechanic recommended them because apparently they do some of the best VW auto body work in the area! My 2018 Beetle had to come here when it was involved in a hit and run while street-parked. Most of the entire left side was damaged. Everyone I spoke with was very communicative and kept us updated on progress. They worked with any concerns I had and made sure I was happy with the work done. My car looks like nothing had ever happened to it now! I would say the whole process took about 2 to 2 1/2 weeks due to extensive damage and that Beetles can be harder to work on. Seems like a normal timeframe to me. And they apparently do detail work here! Would love to take my other car here and get it cleaned up professionally.

I dont normally leave reviews, but Koenes definitely deserves 5 stars. We moved to Grand Rapids recently, and less than a week after we moved, we were rear-ended by an idiot who was texting and driving. Because we hadnt changed our car insurance or registration over to Michigan yet, we thought it would be a huge headache and were going to pay out of pocket. We took our car to a couple different places to get an estimate, and took it to Koenes Auto Body last. We didnt have an appointment and didnt call in advance, but Mike Koenes Jr. did the estimate for us and e-mailed us the expected charges by the time we returned to our apartment just 10 minutes later. (The other body shops didnt get back to us until days later and at a higher estimated cost.) Mike encouraged us to reach out to our insurance and we were happy to discover that our damages would all be covered, and Koenes Auto Body worked directly with our out-of-state insurance adjuster without any hassle. They also arranged for Enterprise to drop off a rental car for us (a luxury SUV at a discounted rate that would also be fully covered by our insurance) and handled the return as well. When I picked up the car, it looked like new, was washed and detailed, and they included extra touch-up paint from what they had mixed to do the repair job. They even filled my tires up with air after noticing my tire pressure was low. I honestly dont have enough good things to say about them and I wouldnt hesitate for a second to use them again. Definitely recommend! We had a driveway incident with our Volvo and we didnt want to make an insurance claim. We were looking for a trustworthy shop to do all they could within our budget. Mike walked me through several different quotes to help find a solution that worked for us. The work was both fast and excellent! I shopped around several places and Koenes had by far the best customer service. Glad we went with them because their guys are obviously skilled too, the car looks great. Hoping we never need it again but if so, theyll be the only shop we go to.

My Audi looks brand new again after a fender bender. John estimated the damage in the pouring rain and saw me for about 30 seconds. When I brought the car in a day early he greeted me with, Hi Deb. Do you need a ride home? (which I did if I brought my car in on the assigned day). I was happy and surprised that he remembered my name. When I explained I was a day early he said, No problem. He already had my file on the front desk. He saw me drive in. I dont know if he recognized me or the car. Now that is customer service! The car was done the next day. It was unexpected and I didnt have a ride to pick it up. They drove it to my house. It was perfect. I would recommend this company to everyone because of their quality work and customer service. One doesnt get that great attitude very often these days.

One of the cars is driven by our granddaughter who is a nursing student, she drives an older model Audi. They not only did a beautiful repair job but did some additional work at no charge. Our family has had nothing too terribly major but several little mini bumps and scrapes theres only one place we ever take our cars all makes and models and that Is Koenes Auto Body. Everybody from the moment you walk in the door to drop off your car until you walk in and pick up your car is courteous polite and very trustworthy. I never question that the work will be done right or that I will be greeted with a surprise cost. Their pricing is on par with other local auto body shops. While there are many shops closer to our home we choose to go to Koenes because we trust their staff and their work.

Not only was the outside collision work back to as new status but the interior was as detailed back to as new status.

Most recently, my car was hit in a parking lot and Koenes got my car in very quickly. The car looked great when it was done and they went above and beyond to have it completely cleaned as well. Anytime they have done work on any of our cars, it has been excellent service.

Its crazy how a body shop is okay with sending cars out looking like complete crap. Koenes Auto Body is the worst place to send your car to. Round one, car did not match at all. After days of arguing they agree to paint the rear bumper. We get it back two days later and now its darker then every other panel they painted there.Some excuses he said were:1. Its better then it was so why do you care2. We did it for free you should be happy3. Maybe our tech tinted it wrong4. Its not that far off5. We dont get paid to match paintAfter they say maybe the tint is wrong I said oh hey thats the reason it was messed up round one they go to say oh I wouldnt say thatThis has been the worst experience ever and I end up with a red Jetta thats three colors. Never for any reason bring your car there. They can not match paint even to a close matter.
