I found it strange when I entered I was told I did not need a mask.. nobody was wearing them.. which is fine.. however, nobody sat with me .. nobody explained anything about the financing.. just sent an email and I had to navigate everything.. this was all done on the premise of Covid protocol.. if it is fine to be in the building with no mask.. then why are you left on your own with nobody in sight to help you..
We were in the market to buy a blazer. We could not find what we were looking for in the Columbus market. Found a nice Blazer at Berger Chevrolet. Called and spoke to Tony Kitchen. Outstanding guy! Good place got two used cars here and employees where very helpful all along the way if anything came up they made sure things where done right and if there is any issue they will make sure things are taken care of. We had a good experience with your salesperson Pam. Shes very personable, a great communicator and worked hard to meet our needs. She initially couldnt find a Tahoe like my wife wanted, so instead helped us order something closer to my wifes desires. When another customer backed out from their ordered Tahoe, Pam thought of us. We ended up with that persons vehicle as it matched my wifes desires even better. When we arrived to check it out, Pam was patient in explaining to my wife how things in the vehicle worked. After driving, we decided to buy it. Pam had already been proactive in having the paperwork ready, and the process went quick and smooth. We came back a couple days later to pick it up, and she had it detailed nicely for us, had me sign a couple more things, and explained in greater detail all the features of the vehicle to my wife before she drove it home. Great customer service, quick in person and painless process. We appreciate that Berger honored our GM supplier and Costco discounts and didnt overcharge for the vehicle. We live in Coopersville and usually try our local dealer first because they are local, but Ive never bought a car there because their customer service isnt the best, they overcharge for their inventory, dont always seem honest and they wouldnt honor our discounts. I bought a new Chevrolet car in 2017, and didnt buy it local that time either for the same reasons. Thank you Pam and Berger. Well be back in the future.
Slow suns it up. Ive been waiting.for over 1/2 hour to get my vehicle checked in for warranty work. Apparently having an appointment doesnt mean anything at this dealership. Oh well, hopefully they fix it on their first attempt this time instead of my usual multiple visits to correct the same issue.
Not happy with why they never told me about wear on tires I do my part with oil changes now your part is to check tires ect rotation is your job I think you only did this once since I bought the car they told me oil changes and rotation of tires should be included last time when I had my oil change they said they cant do tire rotation due to the pandemic? Im in the car by myself there out side why not? Just really not happy with this one tells you this another tells you something else

I called on November 1st, 2021 at about 5:40PM & asked to be transferred to wholesale parts. The man I spoke to was extremely rude. Kept cutting me off when I was talking & wouldn’t help at all. Everytime I call here I have a good experience, except yesterday. I couldn’t even finish talking to him. He was extremely rude. I called again today, November 2nd and I spoke to Troy & he was amazing. Extremely helpful. FIVE STARS FOR TROY ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I don’t remember the other guys name, but he was very rude. It’s like he didn’t even want to be there.
I was pleased to discover there was a pickup:drop off option which saved me a ton of time & stress figuring out how I’d get to/from the dealership. Then on top of that the service was completed so much faster than I think I ever thought was possible. It’s like finding everything in the time/order you need to for full efficiency. This was the second car Ive bought from Berger with Dawn and she did fantastic AGAIN!. We were able to get a lot of the deal and stuff done via text while I was at work and it was super convenient. Signing the papers in finance was a breeze. Every step beat my expectations.
After calling to see if the vehicle I wanted was in stock and I was told it had already sold, Jeremy called me back and told me another just like it was about to go into production and helped me put a deposit down. He answered all of my questions and concerns along the way and made sure to keep me updated with the vehicles production status. The day my vehicle arrived at the dealership, Jeremy sent me pictures and videos and scheduled a delivery day. We did all of the paperwork online with Chris and it was a breeze. We never set foot in the dealership and Berger delivered the car to us 3 hours away in NW Indiana. I can’t say enough good things about Jeremy and doing business with Berger. This was by far the simplest car buying process we’ve ever experienced!
My service rep, Cameron, was so very helpful. I live on a fixed income and had saved money over time for what I knew would be necessary servicing. I let him know I had an absolute limit of $500, including parts and labor. Cameron was so sensitive to that and the work came in $26 under budget! And now I feel my car is safe, once again. I’m the type of customer call expects concise explanation when it comes to cost; however, I did not receive that. I understand that the employees may feel one way, but I am the customer. And with that being said, there is no reason why I should still be confused on why I paid $268 for moldings that did not require labor. I will be returning the parts because I am not satisfied. Check-in was fast and easy. Both repair representatives were very kind and listened to what I had to say. Price of diagnostic wasnt cheap but it want out of the park either. Very standard. Waiting on repair will post more soon

Bob Hodges at Berger was so sweet and very helpful when we went to trade in our 2007 Caliber!!! We upgraded to a 2017 Nissan Rogue which we love so far!!! He even called today to wish my husband a belated birthday!!! Will definitely be going back when we need a new car!!!!
We used the quick lube for our first oil change on our new vehicle. The employees in the quick lube seemed preoccupied and werent as attentive to the customer as I feel they should have been. We received a tire rotation as part of our first free oil change but, we were unaware of this and had to ask what is going on as our vehicle was raised up. It wouldnt have been a big deal to talk to the customer over talking amongst themselves especially since this was our first contact after purchasing our new vehicle.

The staff was great, and I worked with Duane and he did a good job getting me into my new car. I will say that I am disappointed about the car detailing. When I got into my new car there were TONS of Gnats in the car due the floors still being wet. I am still having a problem with the Gnats and my car not smells of wet/mildew floors.

It was our 1st time here for an Oil Change. Where we lived prior we had to make an appt.and appreciate being able to drive up stay in the car and wait.The staff were friendly and helpful.
The only reason why we didn’t give all top ratings is because of the financing process. We were told we were getting $6500 for our trade, but when it came time to sign the paperwork it was listed as a $5000 trade. Thankfully I caught it, and the ‘mistake’ was corrected. That loss of attention to detail made us think twice about this dealership. If we decide to return to Berger Chevrolet, we will secure our own financing ahead of time to prevent these types of mistakes.ETA: Almost a week later and I’m still dealing with financial mistakes by this company. We placed a $500 deposit on our truck but we were charged $1000. We were promised that $500 would be refunded immediately. Well, we had to go through 2 more calls regarding the wrong amount being refunded and having to place yet another charge on our card for the correct amount. It makes this company look terrible, that there were so many financial mistakes for one transaction. It’s like nobody is watching what their staff is doing. There were three people involved - the salesman, the finance manager, and a third man who has ‘nothing to do with anything but signing the papers’. But no one knows anything.....

I spent well over an hour at the Quick Lube. When I arrived, I was waiting in the line because the wells were full, no problem. I was the only car in either of the two lines. I waited for quite some time. Eventually other cars pulled up. Two cars were allowed in to be serviced before I was let in. When the tech walked up I asked him why such a long wait, and why other cars were let in before me. He seemed to lack interest in customer service. The techs quickly serviced my vehicle once I finally got in there. What I was upset about was the poor organization in managing a first come first serve type service, what was worse is the careless attitude from the tech about the issue. I will not have my vehicle serviced there again, and I will probably also not purchase a car there again.
Bryan Bajema took really good care of me and did everything he could and more to help me feel comfortable making a purchase! Got me into a 2019 Ram 1500 that is absolutely a dream to drive. Thanks Bryan and Berger team! Will buy more cars/trucks from this dealer.
Waited one hour in line to get oil change. Their was not very many cars in front of me. Only took few min to do my oil change. Supposedly filled up my air w tires but low tire light came on two days later. Staff has no clue that green air stems on tires means nitrogen air. Screwed up processing my credit card. Accidentally swiped my card behind me and never told me until almost 30 min later as i am annoyed why in the world cant i leave yet. Only dollar difference between me in car behind. Never offered me or car behind me water while we waited or even $5 off coupon off oil change for inconvenience. Staff very nice though.
11/10! Called to setup an appointment and they were able to get my truck in same day and set me up in a rental car!

But when I do U will check out your selection.However, last time I was just LOOKING to see type and price of used cars your Used car dealership would NOT leave me alone. They tried to sell me a car on the spot even after I told them I was NOT buying that day. Even after that I got several call and emails from them.

Whats the point. I wrote a survey after getting this car worked on for a broken curtain in roof. It was bad!!Never heard back from anyone about my extreme disappointment with that time.I received a card from GM, which I filled out, no reply either.Said I could post my survey results online, how convenient, would not let me do that so you filter bad surveys. After purchasing N UMEROUS vehicles through Berger, that might not be the case if we get another. You have really gone downhill.
I brought my car in to have a recall done on it. Mark was nice enough to get my car in to be looked at and fixed. All though my car didnt have to be fixed, Mark called me and told me nothing was wrong and I could come pick up my car. When I got there Mark had my car waiting for me. Mark is the only one I will go to if I ever need work on my car again. Thanks Mark your Awesome!!

He showed me several cars and even let me drive one I was interested in so my son could look at it. Decided not to get it. I was about to leave when he showed me the one I bought. Very professional. My car was picked up from my home at the scheduled time. My advisor, Mark Bivins kept me informed throughout the day as to what was found and repairs that needed to be taken care of. After completion with the repairs, he called me as to what the final cost was so I could get a check ready for the proper amount. My car was dropped back home about 30 minutes, the driver gave me the bill with all the information and I handed him the check. Everything was handled in a very professional and courteous manner.
Jordan and the maintenance team was able to fit me in quickly when I found a check engine light and come to find out it was something serious. I was immediately updated on the issue and received text messages and calls on the status of my repairs. I trust the teams repair work to keep my family safe. Thank you for getting me back on the road so quickly and checking on what parts and services where under warranty. I cannot ask for better service.

It wasn’t easy getting a new Corvette in 2020. I was lucky because I got mine from Adam Doll at Berger Chevrolet. Many customers at other dealers were charging a “Market Adjustment Fee” at the time of delivery up to $20,000 because of Covid-19. I ordered my Corvette with a handshake and a promise and no written sales contract detailing pricing. You can trust Berger to give you a fair, honest deal. They have a great reputation and it’s because they have earned it. Excellent job Berger Chevrolet !!!

The young men that serviced my Trax were very friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. They explained about a filter I was never told about during the five years of oil changes for my Equinox. I was helped with unloading and loading back my items in my glove compartment for the service. They were patient in making sure my glove box was securely back on and worked very well together. I really appreciated how they made me feel as though they really were concerned about myself and the care of the car. Instead of just what I should purchase and how fast they could get me out of the garage. I truly thank them all. And wish them all safety, health, and the best.

Normally I have good experiences at Berger, but today the waiting area smelled like exhaust fumes and started to give me a headache. Also my wait was 50% longer than estimated. However my recall issue was not an issue.

Summary: Lazy finance manager cost me $500 on the loan. The sales team didnt give me the proper discounts and cost me $2000 on top of that.Update: Of course, after assuring me I got all the discounts I said I should get, they gave me some paperwork that didnt explain the discount structure at all. Once I got home, I realized that they did not give me the Berger Discount that says specifically it is available to everyone. The actual truck I bought, VIN number and all, is still on their website showing the discount that states The Berger Discount is Available to Everyone. I guess not me.Original Post (Long):I placed a deposit on a Tuesday for a truck that was going to be delivered in about a week. It was the last week of the month and interest rates were low, so I asked that the finance department reach out and get my financing squared away during the week. The month ended on that Friday, so I wanted to get my financing locked in. When no one had called by Thursday, I reiterated to the salesperson that I wanted to get it taken care of before the weekend. The finance manager waited until Friday to call me, and told me of two loan companies that he wanted to check with, and what their rates were going to be at my credit level.When the truck was delivered on that Saturday, the finance manager showed me my rate - 0.4% higher than what he had told me on the phone and from a different institution that he told me he would use. The reason? Instead of getting my rates on Friday like he said he would, he waited until Saturday, the first of the month, and the interest rates had gone up.Thats over $500 over the life of the loan. Thats a lot of money, even considering the price of the car. The manager reached out to understand the situation and address it internally, but thats not getting me $500 back.

Tried to sell me 1029.00 worth of routine maintenance that Kool will do for 350.00. Ran some type of cleaning agent through the motor but didnt change the oil afterwards, seems very odd. Not impressed.
If you are looking for repairs to your vehicle look elsewhere. I had two issues with my Chevy Cruze I wanted checked and just to look at it was $240. Not to mention the overcharging they do on labor and parts for everything else.
Had my 2017 Ford Escape from Berger for less than 90 days and only 102,000 miles when the transmission failed. I informed Berger of this and they offered no type of help or resolution, I am now stuck with a loan for $17,000 and no car. Do your research before buying.
Love these guys! I will buy my next car here too.

We had a wonderful experience at Berger. We went to look for a new-to-us (used) vehicle we saw on their website. We were greeted by Steve, a very down-to-earth, easy going guy. Together, with manager Nick, they helped us find the right vehicle for us. We explored all options (new, used and several different vehicle types.) We test drove several vehicles and not once did I feel like we were being rushed or pressured into buying one. It sincerely felt like Steve was looking out for our best interest. He was very knowledgeable, asked questions about what features we wanted/needed, and was attentive to our overall experience. After purchasing a 2019 Chevy Traverse, he followed up to make sure everything was running smoothly. It can be intimidating making such a large purchase, but having Steve to guide us was so helpful.
Rob is who worked with me on the service of my vehicle. He made sure I was updated as much as possible. Made sure he helped me with any questions or concerns I had. When truck was going to be there longer he also got me set up with a rental. The technician that worked on my truck got it fixed and back to me as soon as he could. Waiting on parts to arrive is what held it up longer than expected. But, they did what they could to get ut repaired and back to me a soon as they could.
We had an outstanding experience this weekend, the sales representative Noah was exactly the type of person I enjoy dealing with. He never pretended to know something he didnt and was very prompt to find the correct information. He applied no pressure and made my family feel very welcome. The Tahoe was the right vehicle for our sale but people like him and his team will be the reason we return for future purchases.
I was told brake fluid and coolant fluid were due on my 2015 Malibu at 45,000 miles and should be replaced. I looked at the maintenance schedule and these items are due at 150,000 miles for “normal” use. Otherwise, very happy with the service provided!
