I was referred to CarStar Glendale from state farm insurance when one of their insured hit my car in the parking lot. Initially I was impressed with Steven, the manager, however when I went to pick it up on Friday the job was completely shoddy.Thankfully I brought my son-in-law who is a mechanic with me who pointed out all the rough textured areas that were never buffed properly or sprayed correctly. There was also a large amount of overspray and a gap in the tailgate of the SUV.They parked the car with the damaged area in a corner where it was harder to see and in the shade. Even with that, you could tell that the job wasn’t done well. I went back to pick up the car the following Monday, and to my surprise they did fix the many problems that we pointed out.However, to add insult to injury, everything that was in the tail part of my car was thrown into the backseat, literally. And, the cargo net that I had was gone. I called back and they said they didn’t have it but it was definitely there when I dropped it off. I searched every nook and cranny of that car and that net is nowhere to be found.I am not one to make complaints very often, but I will not stand for poor workmanship and mistreatment of my vehicle and belongings.Beware!!!

I chose CARSTAR North Glendale after I was told by my insurance, StateFarm, that it is easier and more efficient to choose a “program shop” rather than going to an auto body shop that is not accredited or affiliated with them. Program shops are made possible for ease and convenience for clients like me. Repairs are facilitated quickly and completed in a timely manner. Per my insurance, they stand behind their work. CARSTAR did all that and more! Steven was also very professional but at the same time amiable and respectful. He explained everything to me in details and in the verbiage I can understand. He was not technical in talking to me but showed he knew what he was talking about. The shop is also very clean, staff are courteous, and in good spirits. I also like that I do not only get phone calls from CARSTAR for regular updates, I also receive text reminders. They went above and beyond the work! Steven and his colleagues also cleaned my headlights as a bonus! He even made sure that my car rental was taken cared of.By the way, the reason I had to bring my car in for repair was because I got squeezed-in by a Pavilions/Vons semi turning right from a freeway off-ramp. There were two lanes turning right. I was in the inner right lane and the semi in the outer lane. Thank goodness for dashcam, it captured the whole thing!I give CARSTAR 10 STARS! You can’t go wrong with them! My car did not show any remnants that a semi damaged it.

I had an amazing experience at this location! They were super friendly and got my car back to me way faster than I had expected. A nice location in the Glendale area and Steven was really great at walking me through everything and making sure I was totally in the loop.
