The two stars are for the guy at the front being nice, but I was quoted an hour to and hour and a half for my oil change and Im still here waiting. (Got here at 2:35 and its currently 4:46. 2+ hours) I dont understand why an oil change would take this long, and people who got here before me for the same service are leaving while I sit here. No one has said a word to me about whats going on despite several people seeing me back here. Im hungry and cant call an uber now because by the time I get home theyll probably call and say to come back.

After getting some quotes for services at a dealership, I came into Tires Plus, hoping to get a better deal. Nathan was kind enough to inform me that some of the work recommended wasn’t necessary, which resulted in a huge savings! Nathan went out of his way to inspect the car and he found issues that were completely overlooked, which really shows a certain mastery and attention to detail. Throughout my wait, every service was communicated to me, to help me understand the process. I feel safer, knowing Nathan is in charge.The staff is very honest and willing to help. When I forgot my Tires Plus credit card, they were quick to help me access my information, to help me get even more savings and benefits. I will definitely advise anyone who needs work on their car, to come here and see for yourself, as far as how great their customer service is. It’s a relief to finally find a car shop that cares!

I did not like my experience, I called in to see if I can walk in, they told me they could do it and to come up, never told me I’d have to wait 5 hours for an oil change swore they were busy and the same cars were in the garage and my car hadn’t even been worked on, the guy told me to be back at 6:30 they close at 7, it’s 7 and my car is still not done.... the attitude with whoever runs the register needs to be replaced, I did not feel welcome

Malcolm is great and worked me through issues caused by other dealerships in the area. My biggest complaint is that you can make an appointment, show up early, and wait in the shop for your car but you will still spend 3+ hours sitting there just for a simple oil change. Also, they forget to return my wheel lock every single time.

Ive been coming here for years and bringing all my cars. Kirby has been good to me. I took my car to get a patch cause I got a screw on the same day. My mistake probably that i came in in the last 30 min of the day. Well I got called out and Malcolm the service manager told me the tire was bad and he said the tire was flat when I came in. It was not. It was half full. The machine tore my tire and Malcolm with little customer service skills and with his attitude told me I was on the rim and he wasnt doing anything, told his staff to put the spare and practically bye Felicia me. I was livid. I got the whole exchange on my dashcam including the tech working on my tire... And guess what, I caught the moment the tire broke and the tech has the look on his face of someone that messed up. Clear as day. Malcolm lied to my face and put it on the paperwork that the tire was flat when it came in a wash his hands with it. Malcolm continuously was taking me as a fool with no vehicle skills. I have significant vehicle skills. Little did he know I was Motor T in the corps. He doesnt deserve the position that he is in. No conflict resolution kills, no willingness or even empathy for the situation. Zero. unlike me but, I end up cursing at him how outrageous this was and how he dismissed me. I work in the hospitals and dealing all week in crisis management with the Corona and this is how my day ends. This tire had 70% life. A 300 dollar tire. Gone. If they came at me that they messed up or whatever, fine. Stuff happens all the time. No big deal. Malcolm attitude from the gate... Youre SOL.Yeah, my vehicles and I are not coming back with him there. Im pursuing actions for these damages.Update: The store manager Nathan reached out to me and he went above and beyond to take care of me. He called me and asked me to go back so that he can see the tire. He was really professional and engaged. I really appreciated it. It meant a lot. He didnt have to do all that he did and I offered to pay a part of the service. He refused. He was phenomenal and did everything to rectify. I updated the rating to 4 stars.

Cant make appointments either through the online reservation system or by calling the location.Their mission is to upsell as much as possible while neglecting the services I request. I wasted money on the lifetime rotation & alignment. Last week they seriously just replaced a defective tire without the requested rotation & alignment.But I sure did get a list of additional services they wanted to perform that cost more than my actual car.Will not ever go back, but 2 stars for actually being able to change a tire without it falling off.

Terrible customer service. We had tires ordered and appt booked online. Staff in store didnt know how the online system worked. They were then just rude and unhelpful

Good that they took me in without an appointment so that I could have the service I needed and that was the only day I had off. Everyone was pleasant and professional. Only problem was that I had seen that a tire rotation was included with an oil change, so I asked if they hade done it. They said yes, that it was free with it, but you have to request it. So I did and it was done. But just so you know, you might have to request it. Otherwise good service.

I hate the Tire Plus shops in Gainesville. I had a terrible experience at the Tire Plus on University Ave. and thought this place would be better but no! I just needed an oil change and asked the guy at the front if it would be long since I had work later that day. He said that I was 2nd in line and it wouldn’t take long at all. He lied. I waited 2 hours to get an oil change and was late for work and he guy had the audacity to thank me for my patience. I literally told him that if it would take awhile I would just come back another time but he reassured me more than once that they were almost done. Meanwhile as others walked in, he asked if they were hungry and suggested them to get food while I sat there starving thinking my visit would be quick. Learned the hard way that Tire Plus isn’t it for me :/

Made appointment for 1:00 for oil change. Car didnt go on the lift until 2:45, and then it took until about 3:30 to come down. The customer service was good but why call it an appointment if my 20 minute service still takes over 2 and a half hours?!

This tires plus is very good at following COVID regulations. They all wear masks, they wipe down your keys and car before returning, and they email receipts.

I love Tires Plus! Besides my oil changes, Ive always gone there to fix all my car issues. They are prompt and open about what needs to be repaired. Kurt and Nathan have been super helpful. I want to thank them and I highly recommend this location.

Overall was a very great experience! I was helped by Malcolm and he was the most straight forward and honest mechanic that Ive ever met. Just within moments of meeting him, I could sense the years of expertise and extensive mechanical knowledge! If I have any car problems I know where to go!

Gentleman behind the counter was very nice, but their parking lot was terrible, I was picking up sharp things and all sorts of parts to avoid getting my tires punctured from all the loose debris laying everywhere. Almost like job security for the shop!...

To top it off, you’ll get smugness and flippant talk from one guy in particular.These people are sadly misinformed and untrained. Stopped by for one simple thing to put air in my tires. Christopher stopped what he was doing and provided excellent customer service!! He even gave me information about where I could go to possibly purchase my own air vac something I wanted to know to be able to do it myself he also mentioned tireplus courtesy tire check to see if my tire sensor needed to be reset. I just purchased this vehicle not long ago so Im going to check with the dealership but if they cant help Ill definitely be back. Sometimes its the simple gestures that count especially being that I just had a horrible experience over at Firestone today thanks again!!!!

Would NOT recommend. I had a 12 o’clock appointment for an oil change and was told it would be done around 1pm. I dropped it off at 11:27am and it was not ready until 1:46pm. What’s the point of making an appointment if it’s not going to be finished in a timely manner anyway?

My girlfriend dropped me off at work in Gainesville and then got a nail in her tire. We come from Palatka and she called me for advice. I told her to hit tire plus as they were open for another hour. She arrived and was turned away. Cant imagine sending a 60 year old woman away with the advice to just drive back to Palatka and hope for the best. Shame on you and your lack of concern. Gentlemen dont exist in your company. You could have at least offered to put her spare on. Hopefully karma will return the favor. Let this serve all who read to avoid such a business who would do this. She left in tears.

When my car started acting up on the interstate while traveling I called tires plus because they were the only place open that early in the morning and I use a local tires plus for all my car needs.They agreed to get my car in with out an appointment. Diagnosis came back as a transmission issue. I dont remember the guys name anymore, but they were very kind in breaking the news to me and helped me make calls to the dealer about options and to see if I was still under an extended warranty. I greatly appreciated the efforts that they made to assist me especially since I was from out of town and did not know the area at all.

They are simply the worst, I drop my car around 1 p.m on Sunday, the rep was by himself dealing with phone calls and other customers at the same time I was interrupt at least 5 times anyway left the location and my car was suppose to be ready by 3 pm cause they close at 4, I received a phone call around 3 20 just to tell me that they dont have the 3 tires and I say ok dont do anything then I was told that they unmounted all the tires and he suggested to leave overnight to see if they can find me a cheaper price which I agree but they have to call me first, never called me back and decide to call them atound 12 30 next day and was told that my car was ready and say why nobody called me and he funny answer was * SR I called u and I have the phone in front of me the whole morning and he say well I probably called myself. end of the awful experience.

Snow birds heading back home to MN and our Lincoln limped into Gainesville. The crew at Tires Plus were so helpful. After checking out our car, they diagnosed the bigger problem...water pump and timing chain. They gave us a price quote, explained everything and got us back on the road in 2 days! Excellent service, good communication, and even gave us a ride to our hotel. Special shout out to Malcolm and Nathan, and whoever the mechanic was who ultimately fixed it!! Highly recommend!

I have had my service performed here for over 5 years. This shop is professional, quick, and offers the best deal in pricing. They have seen my car from its early age of only a few hundred miles all the way nearly the 100k we’re about to break. The staff is knowledgeable, nice, and respectful. I always recommend them and Tires Plus. Especially Kirby here at this shop location, he has truly been a pleasure to work with.

Service turned out fine. My only issue was the LONG wait. I only was there for a simple oil change but ended up waiting almost 3hrs??.. Sheesh

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I took my car there when my battery died after being freshly replaced. I explained to them that my alternator must be malfunctioning and asked them to check it. They took my car for a week and replaced $1200 worth of parts. They did not repair the alternator though because, in their professional opinion, it was not the problem. The day after I picked up my car, it stopped functioning WHILE I WAS DRIVING and almost caused me to get into an accident as I tried to pull off the road without a means of accelerating anymore. I had to have my car towed in for another assessment and, after carefully looking it over, they charged me another $800 to replace my alternator. Now I am out $2000 and have a car full of parts I didnt need replaced. I explained the situation and the manager told me he stands by their mechanics decisions and would not refund me. He was rude and made assumptions that I did not understand anything about how my car works. It is clear that Tires Plus goal is to overcharge customers who do not know any better and ultimately I do not believe they are qualified to fix any actual issues under the hood.I am sorry to have to leave a sour review, but I would say your business is much much better taken elsewhere. Theres an Advanced Auto Parts and a NAPA Auto Store in town that are much better.

Did the job, but I had to wait 4hrs for a tire change.

I didnt like the way that the communication was handled. I was there on behalf of a third party. They asked me if she wanted the brakes done and I responded no. They proceeded to tell me that is not what she had told them. So they called her to verify. What they was truly asking is if she wanted the brakes tested for free but since it was not asked that way there was a different answer from both of us. If they had asked if she wanted the brakes checked for free I could have given them the same answer instead of a different answer. But the way it was asked of of me it was as if they were asking to replace the brakes in which case she had already told me that she only want the tires replaced and the lifetime rotation, balance, and alignment. So they rubbed me as being shady and deceptive.

My mom had a flat tire when she was on her way to work. She stopped by tires plus at 7:30 in the morning to get it fixed and they were awesome. The man who was at the counter was nice to everyone who came in and they did a great job.

Work was done very quickly even though the bays were full when i arrived. Had oil change,air conditioner belt changed and spark plugs replaced. Staff was great. Thee manager and sales person Georgia were very professional and pleasant.

I normally leave only good reviews but this is very concerning. I am disheartened about what happen and hope it comes to a emitted stop.I had original went to Tire Plus on 43rd for a oil change because my oil light was coming on. Tire plus informed me that I had a bad oil leak and it will be a 14 hour job to fix it in addition to costing $1,890. They told me they had to drop my transmission to fix the leak. I was very grateful they told me about the leak. $1,890 is a lot of money but i needed my car desperately to go to work.We wanted to double check elsewhere for better pricing before we put down that much.My husband checked on Gainesville reddit and it recommend Ahrens. I call and told Ahrens Auto about the terrible leak I had. He got me right in. I showed him the receipt from Tire Plus about where the leak was.Ahrens Auto did their own diagnostics. Ahrens Auto fixed my leak and charged me about 300.This is what concerned me the leak was NOT where Tire Plus had said it was .It was NOT a 14 hour job that Tire plus said it was and most importantly it was NOT $1890 Job like Trie plus said it was!!!Please do not try to do this to anyone else .Money is hard to come by especially during this time. Many people are still out of jobs and barley scraping by for rent, food and water.

Edit: Under new management! Nathan is the manager there now and he is great. I called cause our battery was giving us a hard time and he gave me prices and told me what to expect. They went to another location to pick up the battery and had it waiting when I got to the store. Nathan left before I arrived but he let Kirby know that I was coming and had called. Kirby knew exactly what I needed and what to do. Perfect hand off from one employee to the next! A+ work guys. It was just our battery but they checked everything out and filled our tires.We also mentioned that the dealership told us to replace the air filters a few months ago. They pulled our air filters and they said they wouldn’t tell us to replace them even now. Honest work guys.We have used Tires Plus for our cars for years now. Nice people. Car usually comes out well. Takes FOREVER. It doesnt seem to make a difference if you have an appointment or not, plan to drop off or bring a good long book or extra phone battery, youll be there a while.

Honestly if I could give zero stars I would. I bought a 149.99 plus tax alignment packet in the end of November was told I had bad parts On my front driver side ok cool well I can replace parts my self so I replaced the entire side everything put new tires on the truck on dec 1st went dec 2nd in the morning to have it aligned. They did I was told 1year to come back and my alignment was good to go. Well looking at my tires you can’t tell unless they are fully turned the inside is bald and showing wires now I paid over 1300 bucks for my tires I brought my truck up there today June 4th and first was told I had a bad control arm which is false it’s already been replaced. Then changed the story and admitted to me that. My alignment destroyed my tire and all they are willing to do is redo my alignment . My tire is more then this alignment is worth and now they are trying to make me pay my self. Beware will lie and be zero help..

Honest mechanics that fix problems without creating more. Ive had good experiences at multiple Tires Plus locations as well. They were friendly and time efficient. If you need extensive work done you may want to shop around as Tires Plus is very expensive for major work but i guess you get what you pay for so I would recommend Tires Plus to anyone in need of a good, honest mechanic.

I had a great experience this morning! I went in for an oil change and was done in less than 30 minutes! They have a nice waiting area. The employees, Wayne and Mitch, were polite and professional. I will be going here again! I highly recommend!

I have used this Tires Plus for 2 years now so I feel I have a well-rounded experience with them. Overall, I am really pleased! I’ve only waited a hour and a half, at most, for a tire rotation and oil change. I’ve had tires changed and nails removed too. All my needs have been met with affordable prices and reliable service. The staff have made suggestions on things I could replace soon but haven’t pushed me to do so. This is rare to me. Also, I want to give a shout out to Patty at the front desk. She has a terrific sense of customer service, which I think is so beneficial in a car repair service location.

I couldn’t figure out how to do the survey but this place is amazing they had me in and out and I forgot my wallet in my pants at home and this amazing man let me go get it and come back and pay!! They are super nice!!!😊

I received great customer service. The guy at the front desk was very understanding and explained things to where I was clear what was needed I did not need to ask for the best pricing, he automatically told me the best pricing for tires and helped me get set up with a promotion for an alignment.I was expecting I would only be able to change one of the two tires I needed changing to be able to get an alignment but low and behold, I got both bad tires replaced AND got the alignment for less than I budgeted.Excellent service and excellent price, thanks guys.

Went in for a tire rotation and balance. They were able to squeeze me in on a busy morning just before Thanksgiving break, and I had the car back by noon! No hidden charges, no problems, very friendly and helpful staff at the desk, all good!Edit: Went back 5 months later for an oil change and wheel alignment. Still pleased and impressed! They had my vehicle done several hours ahead of schedule and I was able to pick it up early - and avoid walking in the rain. The price was fair too.

They really need to work on their communication. I waited for 1h and 30 min at the waiting room right next to the register. When I finally decided to ask how much longer it would take, I found my car had been waiting for me to pick it up for the past hour!! The guy even tried to say they tried to call me. I had my cellphone with me the whole time, and again: I was right there! And for the record, there was only 2 more customers there, so they were not even busy.

Totally satisfied with Nathan and Lauren, they did an excellent job getting my special order done, after spending 40 years as an ASE certified technician I find it difficult in trusting my car with anyone other than myself but knowing this store is here, they earned my patronage. I will return again and now make this tires plus my go to store for tires and I buy alot of tires . Thank you again Nathan, and I apologise to Lauren for getting upset with her, she wasnt rattled easy and even calmed me down with the professional manner in the way that she defused the situation.

Terrible service.. every time I take my car there this guy is trying to sell me on a ton of extra stuff and not even explaining what was done to my car in the first place. I took my girlfriends car there for just their oil change which should have been $24.99 they themselves then stripped my bult for the oil pan and blame it on the age of the car even though its been changed out many of times no problems. It went from a $24.99 oil change to them quickly saying I need to pay $600 plus dollars for that and it was not there fault. Terrible if youre doing something with tires and allignment great or needing a 19point inspection Im sure theyll find anything and everything to help the buyer. But other than that run from doing much else. Terrible services!

Daniel is great and super helpful. Doesnt beat around the bush and lie just because youre a woman. They got all four tires changed balanced and aligned in about an hour. Definitely will go here again.

Had a 1:00 appointment for alignment and balance. The car got pulled in at 2:00 by the service manager who aggressively drove our vehicle into the shop along with several other customers cars while we was waiting. The technician took forever to do the balance then the alignment the car pulls to the right horribly when the steering wheel is straight. I did not get out of here until 3:20. They tighten the wheels with an impact and no torque stick. I use to work for tires plus at a different location and this location is poorly ran.

Went here a little before they were closing two month ago after i blew one of my tires. There was only two people working, one in the shop and one out front, but they stayed there for at least another hour after they closed to help me and the other people waiting. It took a long time which was fine since only one person was in the shop but the price for one car tire was crazy..

I called ahead to ask if they were busy they answered no and I spent 4 hours waiting. My tire went flat immediately after and I had to pay for a new one and that one went flat as well. I had to go to a different place to find out it was the tire gauge. Malcom is just looking to make more money and Kirby is his accomplice in this scheme. You’d probably be able to do a better job by yourself watching a YouTube video. If I could I’d give -2 stars.

I had a great experience at this Tires Plus. I was in the market for new tires and had been to 4 other places. I had finally decided on some tires that they ordered in for me for the next day. I actually ended up getting a slightly better tire with a similar price point after talking to Derek. My car was taken in right on time for the appointment and was finished (tires and alignment) in about an hour (quicker than expected). I did not feel pressured to buy other products or tires that were more expensive and more than I needed like I did at several other places. I was kept updated about my cars progress via phone. Everything was explained to me in as much detail as I needed. As a woman with little car knowledge, I felt the most confident here that I was not being oversold.

My experience is always wonderful when I visit The store on 34th & Archer Rd. The staff is always kind, courteous, and totally knowledgeable about you vehicles condition!!! Tires Plus is the ONLY TRUE PLACE that I will allow to do anything to my conveyances!!!! The Young Stout Brother that was handling the front ofc was kind, concerned and courteous. Kudos to him!!! This was around 3:30 pm and 5 pm. He checked my 2000 Chevy Suburban LS K1500 4WD. Thanks again Tires Plus!!!!!! You guys are incredible!!!!!!! Dr. Evans. Ase

I have had quite a few nails embed themselves in my cars tires over the years and I can say that Tires Plus has done the best (and cheapest) job at patching them up. The last time I had a nail stuck in my tire I had it fixed with another company. Not only did they overcharge me (I paid $35 to plug the tire), they also misled me to believe they were patching the tire. Tires Plus did a great job at explaining to me, a clueless car owner, what service they were providing. I only paid $20 for them to patch the tire and my experience with the employees was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone with car troubles, and I personally will go there again if I will need any other types of maintenance.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! After paying $54 for them to diagnose my air conditioning issue they quoted me for $950 UNNECESSARY repairs... Took my car to a second shop for another opinion... A $40 fix and everything works perfect now. They tried unsuccessfully cheating me out of $1000. Will never step foot here again

I always take my car to tires plus! I have since 2013! Everytime I try some place else they try to sell me on things I dont need or give me no information on the status. I LOVE tires plus! If you are nice to them they are nice to you! They always look for ways to get things done and keep it relatively inexpensive, they even look for coupons available for your situation. It is a car and slot of people forget that up keep on cars can take time and is expensive! No car is the same but I will always take my cars to Tires Plus for amazing service! Thankyou guys for always being there and working so hard!

The WORST customer service experience I’ve ever had. Ordered tires on Friday, to arrive on Saturday afternoon and be put on Sunday morning. Arrive Sunday morning to have tires put on only to be told they aren’t there. Not only are the tires not there no one felt it was important to call and notify us yesterday of the delay or reason. The manager was not on duty and the employee Patty couldn’t have cared less stating “ another day won’t hurt”.. There was no one available by phone or in store to resolve this.I will no longer be spending my money here.

I just moved to Gainesville last year and let me tell you this tires plus has been there for every situation I have been put in. First they installed my new tires on my mustang Gt that I purchased from tire rack as they were the trusted installers. Alignment was great and no issues whatsoever. They also have taken great care of my mothers car a 2006 matrix and have done complete tune up and oil changes and not once have I had an issue. Daniel is one of the mangers there and he always takes care of me. All the guys there are very friendly and always smile and joke around like any mechanic shop should. Good chemistry on a team will always lead to happy customers.
